I went for my dental implant appointment at Union Dental. The receptionists were friendly & efficient. Dr James Schlesinger my oral surgeon was amazing. Before the procedure he explained to me the plan of care, what to expect & made sure it was a painless one. My greatest fear is going to a dentist but the staff helped me feel at ease, less anxious & making me more comfortable! Kudos to Leonardo & Kathy for having an awesome & compassionate team!!!

I’m writing this review because of my recent experience with this dental care. Last april I have a bad gum infection and it was causing me discomfort and pain. My original plan was to get my gums check and maybe get a prescription for the pain. Met the doctor and explained my complaints and then they started the minor treatment. Xray and then they gave me a prophylaxis treatment and an antibiotic prescription. After this, they started talking to me about treating a few cavities they saw after the X-ray. They were very adamant about doing it now. So I ended up agreeing to do the filling treatment for the cavities. They ended up doing 4 fillings and it was painful. I’ve done fillings before but this time, the pain was just too intense. After the procedure they explained that the pain will last for couple of days but it lasted for months. I came back to the clinic 2 more times to get an answer to why the pain won’t go away but they just prescribed me more medications and did a minor polishing of the filling surface. The medicine helped a little bit with the pain but until now when I chew on the tooth that had the filling it hurts and I feel a throbbing sensation in my jaws.

If I could, I would go to a different dentist right away, but honestly, I am so afraid and terrified to go see a dentist again. This traumatic experience has affected me physically and mentally and I’m very anxious that my teeth might get damaged even more if I choose a different clinic.

I don’t like giving low reviews but I paid my fair for the service and I expect to get the best service.

Teresa Moseman the hygienist there is one of the best in las Vegas. I been with her all my life 48 years now. She is very good at letting u know what's going on with the cleaning. She is very kind and trustworthy. I will not go to anyone else. And I meet a lot of hygienist that are good friends of ours and I will only go to Teresa Mosemen, She is very good with kids also. So go see her and have a cleaning that u will never forget u will not want anyone else. She will treat u like family.

I’ve been to a lot of dentists over my life and had plenty of work done. The people here are friendly and all but the shot before my filling was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I’m pretty good with shots and was pretty relaxed but when I was stabbed like that I was on guard the whole appointment and it was very stressful. I feel bad for the staff but I can’t go back.

If it weren’t for the fact that my husband is union I would never choose to come here. Needed a consultation for a possible redo of a root canal they performed years ago. Background I work every Saturday, the specialist only sees patients on Saturdays. I booked my appointment for a day I could get off of work, originally schedule for a CONSULTATION at 730. The week of my appointment I received multiple text “confirming” my appointment for 840, some said 810. I called and asked why my appointment time was changed from 730, to which I was told “Well we don’t open until 8” okay, the why was I scheduled for 730? Fine. I adjusted, confirmed I would be there at 8. The day before my appointment, I received a text asking if I could switch my appointment time and come in at 9. I explained to them, I work and had already arranged my day to be there at 9, I could not do a later time. They said no worries see you tomorrow at 8. Morning of the appointment I arrived at 750, 1 other person in the waiting room. 5 other people showed up shortly after me (maybe 5-10 minutes). At 830, when I was the ONLY person left in the waiting room I asked how much longer, my appointment time was at 8. About two minutes later I was brought into a room and sat in a chair, told the doc would be with me shortly. Few seconds later, the assistant came and said “well she’s with another patient and just started treatment did you want to wait, it will be another HOUR”
I was furious!! This is NOT how you treat patients, this is NOT how you treat people in general. This office overbooked the doctor, tried to make that my problem, and then told me I wouldn’t be see until after 10am, for my 8am consultation. I’ve never had consistent service here when it comes to needing anything done besides a cleaning. I will say the only positive that keeps me here is that it is union, so we don’t pay for routine treatments, and the hygienist here is AMAZING.

Can I just say from the time I stepped into the office until the time I left the experience was amazing. Check-in and checkout was amazing and easy and the Dr went over my treatment plan in detail and Christina went over everything from start to finish regarding the plan and treatment payment and what my insurance covered. My family and I have been going to Union Dental for years now and we absolutely love them!
