While Dr. Song may be a skilled physician, I personally did not have a positive experience during my visit. I scheduled an appointment with him for a second opinion regarding a wrist injury because my primary hand specialist’s schedule was fully booked for over a month.

During the appointment, Dr. Song appeared very rushed and did not engage much with me directly. I felt the bedside manner and overall patient interaction lacked the level of attentiveness and care I was hoping for. In terms of treatment guidance, the visit was also not particularly helpful, as I was simply advised to rest and follow up with my original doctor.

I base my reviews largely on the quality of care, communication, and kindness I receive as a patient, and unfortunately this experience did not meet my expectations. On a positive note, having the opportunity to see two different hand specialists gave me a much greater appreciation for the compassion, attentiveness, and care I previously received from Dr. Amesur.

Good doctor, he doesn't mess around with trying to get you for appointments, just to rip off more money from you. He's too busy for that nonsense. I needed a cortisone injection for trigger finger for work, it's done the same day. Skilled in injections and surgeries with steady hands, he don't miss.

Check in was quick and easy. For a person who has tremors they provide a tablet for easy check in. The young lady at check in was very helpful with the process. Dr. Song was very personable and explained the procedure as he worked. I would strongly recommend his practice.

My mom had a terrible experience here. She lives in constant pain with her hands from arthritis and carpel tunnel. She came in for an appointment with Dr. Song and experienced cold, indifferent service from him. He didn’t introduce himself or bother to get to know her or her pain, and told her upfront that there’s nothing he can do about her pain - basically just told her to go back to her other doctor and ice her hands (which she already does and knows to do). He didn’t talk about her x-ray results with her, or review any of her test results. Didn’t even bother taking a look at her hands, like he doesn’t care at all. She asked about carpal tunnel surgery & he said it’s a very basic surgery and he can do it, but that she should just go back to her other doctor - it’s almost like it’s too basic for him and he can’t be bothered to deal with it, so he pushed her to go back to her other doctor. She has had to deal with talking with so many other doctors to figure out what she can do so she’s not living with pain for the rest of her life, and it’s just sad that she has to deal with medical professionals like this. As a doctor, the least you can do is empathize with your patients, get to know their problems, and have the decency to at least let your patient know that you’re done with them and to let them know they can check out. My mom was left in the room without another word from the doctor, and she found out that she could leave after opening the door and asking another patient (who was also waiting for the doctor to come back - he just left them in the room without telling them they could go). Horrible service, does not deserve as high of a rating that he has on here. What a waste of $40 copay to be told rudely to go back to your old doctor and there’s nothing you can do.

I found the entire experience excellent!! Started at check-in thru history taking and vital signs to radiology and assessment by Dr. Song with x-ray review. Treatment plan decided and begun. Feel better already!
