Ive had two procedures at VVSC. The wait in lobby is a drag. However once you go to the back its a whole new experience. Its like entering another "world" all together. The everyone in the back is so nice and upbeat. They are helpful and kind. As well as friendly and smiling They also make sure your comfortable and come back and check if you still are. They explain everything and answer any question you may have. I for one think they are amazing. Thank you everyone at VVSC

My procedure was scheduled for 10:45 with an arrival time of 9:45. I got a call at 8:12 am asking if I could come in at 9:15 or earlier since they had a cancellation. We agreed and arrived at 9:05. I was finally called back at nearly 10:45 (the initial surgery time) to get prepped and IV in, then waited another 30 minutes before they finally got me into do the procedure.
The staff were very friendly despite the chaos and the doctor was great. It would have just been nice not to be asked to come in early when they ended up getting me in late. It was uncomfortable waiting in the crowded waiting room for nearly 2 hours.

My husband had a procedure schefuled today. We drove in from AZ. The waiting room was so full when we arrived we had to sit outside the main door. The chairs inside were filthy. The fabric was literally black with filth. His procedure time was 930. They took him back at 935. He called me at 1115 to tell me he is " next in line". So they are 2 hours behind?? No mention, no explanation? I'm thinking maybe they should only book as many patients as they can accommodate and not cram as many people as they can in and then make them sit there and wait. . .and wait. Modern medicine is all about greed.

The Dr and procedure were perfect. But they overbook. Everyone is nice, no complaints there. But once you they check you in, your stuck in a chair over an over thats so uncomfortable, waiting for a bed to open. Then another 20 min in bed. Its like a colonoscopy factory. One after the other.

I had a colonoscopy recently, and I was pretty nervous going in—but the entire experience was much better than I expected. The staff was kind, respectful, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which helped me feel at ease right away.
The worst part was the preparation, that wasn’t fun. Once I got there I checked in and waited for a while. The place was packed.
Everything was efficient and well-organized. The nurses were especially compassionate, and the doctor was professional and reassuring.
The procedure itself was quick and completely painless, and I felt well cared for the entire time. Recovery was smooth, and they made sure I understood my results and next steps before I left.
If you’re feeling anxious about getting a colonoscopy, I completely understand—but this experience really put me at ease. I’m grateful for the excellent care and would absolutely recommend this team to others.

Everything went fast and smooth everyone was nice. I do want to especially mention the RN Susie S. She was absolutely amazing. She made me feel safe, calm, and even made me laugh a couple times. Whoever reads this from this facility should let her know what a great job she’s doing. You made me feel seen. Thank you for your kindness and humor. Nurses like you deserve everything and appreciation. If you can’t tell who I am I had a tattoo of my dog on my lower leg lol!

So gross. Thought I was walking into the DMV. This was nothing like a medical facility should operate like. Standing room only. Old people without seats. No clear communication when you’ll be called up or called back. Not running on time. Will not come here again.

I was there yesterday for a colonoscopy and everything was so organized. Everyone was professional and absolutely wonderful. My male RN ( I didn't get his name) that did my IV was so awesome. Facility is so crowded and not enough space. They overbook at this facility so there was like 10,000 ppl in the waiting room. My mom and hubby were with me while I had a procedure done and they asked them to wait outside bc there wasn’t enough lobby seating. My procedure was delayed 2 hrs but my doctor, anesthesiologist ,and nurses were amazing. I was able to talk to everyone prior to my procedure since I had many concerns and questions. So all in all not the best facility but I’m happy I had it done, thank you.

Vishal Gandotra, M.D. scheduled a procedure for my 83 year old Mother at 5 AM. She lives in Pahrump, which is an hour away from the surgery center. NO ONE bothered to tell us that they don’t even open until 5 AM, and that the doctor doesn’t start any procedures until 7 AM! What kind of “care” is that? This place is HORRIBLE for not caring at all about the patient and making sure that they communicate with them and ensure their comfort.

Wait time is terribly long. They are not even close to being on schedule, so you end up sitting there waiting way past your scheduled time. And they want you there 30 to 45 minutes before your scheduled time.
And the billing person on the phone is really bad. I called questioning my bill. He answered. I had a very hard time understanding him. I asked to speak with someone else. He put me on hold for a couple of minutes, came back and carried on like he hadn't left. I asked again to speak with someone else. Long story short... he hung up on me. Not very professional in my book.

I had scheduled the first appointment of the day. Its been 90 minutes and I am being told its 90 more minutes. Never ever in my life have I had such a delay in a medical procedure. The anesthesiologist was rushed. We waited forever in the small room. Not recommending or returning. Its ridiculous, I was told an hour after my scheduled appointment that the dr wasn’t here yet and there were 4 patients ahead of me. I am not sure anymore what’s true.

Most anesthesiologist use some lidocaine before giving you the injection. In my case they skipped that procedure and gave me the full injection all at once. I went sky high. So much pain I thought I was going to die right there. Thanks a lot Dr Connolly. Never see you again.

This place is amazing. I had extreme anxiety about procedure. From the moment I entered I was welcomed by the front office. No waiting. My nurse that unfortunately don’t remember her name was the most caring nurse I have ever met and her co workers that help all were so amazing.
Dr Kaio Ferrreira was amazing . The nurse and the anesthesiologist amazing . The nurse amazing . Once I woke up I had no pain. The staff really understood my anxiety .
Once I got my results it was easy to read and understand and included the pictures.
I be back for my next procedure and thank you

I went in for a colonoscopy yesterday everything was fine until I left. I woke up and felt something hard on my face. I then realized that they ripped off my skin when they took off the anesthesia mask. I never got an apology or a reason why that happened. I’m extremely disappointed because I was extremely nervous and I didn’t feel as comfortable as I wish I did. My face is still in pain and is in the process of healing.

This place is awful. It was overcrowded, very unorganized. People are nice enough. But better scheduling would be a huge benefit for everyone. They need to think about how awful it is for the ppl standing around for lack of sitting space, which comes down to scheduling. AND.. then you have wait 2 -3 hours AFTER YOUR APPT!!
never again.

As others have stated this was a human surgery mill. I had two colonoscopy’s in a week from each other. I asked a nurse how many colonoscopies does each Dr do in a day… the answer was 22-26.
As pilots , truckers have limits on how many hrs they can “work” due to possible fatigue , accidents etc… should there not be a limit to colonoscopy surgery.
My results were completely different… maybe get it done right the first time ..
Is it all about $$$$… have we forgotten about human compassion …
Checking in and the waiting room was chaotic not a calm setting. Which, for one going in for a “procedure” is much cause of fear and anxiety.
While I will say the staff were “nice” and “kind” enough. It was almost robotic. Get’em in get’em out , we gotta make some $$$.
Who is regulating this???

We were told to arrive 1 hr before a procedure. After check in we waited 2 1/2 hours then finally was called. The patient told the center about being diabetic and was assured it was in the file and that it was not a problem. Since only the solution is available to drink and no food for approx 24 hours, diabetes is a huge concern. Instead of looking at the file or verifying condition, the center made the patient wait 2 1/2 hours. Blood sugar was low and this could have been a much larger issue and they would have been responsible for any harm to the patience. It didn't seem to matter. BEWARE! I asked to speak to the office manager privately to discuss this issue. She "handled me" and after I asked for privacy she brought 2 people with her, not acknowledging my request for privacy. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! DANGEROUS PLACE...BEWARE! Go anywhere but here!

Had an appt. At 615 am on a Saturday 6/7/25. I had a problem with an Anesthesiologist that canceled my appt while in the holding room. I called and spoke to a Supervisor with my complaint and was told that the Administrator would call me back and still no phone call. Very poor ethics of Administration and the doctor. I have sent a complaint to the NV State board of examiners.

This place is nothing but a money mill. They make the people that bring you and pick you up wait elsewhere so the waiting room has more room for paying patients. They make you sign that you have received paperwork well before you actually get the paperwork. They take your ID and insurance cards and don't just make copies like most places. They hold them hostage. Require you to use their website to pre-register, then require you to do a paper copy of the exact same information when you show up.

June 17th 2025. Again going with my partner to a surgery and they would not let me wait with her. You ask people to have a driver with and then tell them they can’t have their support person there. It’s rude and offensive and I got sorry it’s policy. OFFENSIVE!

They turned me away! There were two doctors and at least 10 procedures scheduled for 4:30 to 5:am. Arrived early and had to wait outside in the rain for 15 minutes as they opened at 5. I ride with lifetrans and had to bring my son with me to escort me home as required. After I got back they took my blood pressure. It was a bit of a walk and I have MS and bulging disks in my lower back. I couldn’t stand up straight because I spent yesterday prepping for this and pooping liquid until my butt bless. The pain after the prep is excruciating. Plus all of the tests before and the anxiety up to the 5 am surgery. One male nurse was firing questions at me in an abrupt manner, while the other was taking my blood pressure. He tried three times in 5 minutes with the same machine and gave me no time to calm down. My major concern I’m a 63 year old woman with 190 blood pressure and their concern was whether to do the surgery or not. To my surprise, the drill sergeant said the doctor would do it without anesthesia. What!!!! My response was wouldn’t that just make my blood pressure higher? And I got up to leave. He could not read the room and asked what my decision was. Of course I said I’m leaving. I asked if I should get checked out at the hospital and got no reply. Seriously 😐!! The lack of care in Las Vegas is appalling. I feel like they just don’t care about me.

I explained that I was allergic to the Propofol, and Dr. Blackwood said it would be no problem, he has done this for 25 years. I had a bad reaction to Propofol's sister drug and broke my toe, banged my wrist, and felt like a truck hit me. If you are allergic to Propofol, do not use Dr. Blackwood; he does not take it seriously. He thinks he knows everything! He told I have got you; this will be a breeze.

This place was totally not what I expected. When I walked in, the waiting room resembled an ER on New Year's Eve, wall to wall people, many having to stand, everyone coughing it seemed! Ha ha. It seemed a bit old and run down, and really didn't inspire confidence in the coming surgery. I was told to be there at 8:30 for a 9:30 surgery. I checked in at the window after waiting in line, only to be told to wait again to be called up. During this time they kicked out all the family members waiting with patients due to space constraints, so it was extremely sad and stressful that my family member couldn't wait with me. I waited about 30 minutes to be called up to actually check in. Then waited almost another hour to finally be called back for pre-op.The back resembled an ER, with curtained off cubbies and staff running all over the place. However, once in a bed, the nurse was very accommodating and efficient. Then the surgeon came in, then the anesthesiologist, and even though it was about another hour wait, you could see the efficiency of the process, and the staff was fantastic. The surgery went great, but I felt like recovery was a bit rushed. I did not feel ready to go home, but was shuffled out anyway. It all worked out in the end, but I would have liked to see the doc briefly after the surgery. The office staff was great before my visit there, verifying the appointment and gathering info for pre-check in over the phone. I think they just have a way of doing things that actually works, but that the "pacing" was not communicated to me. The doc spoke highly of them as a surgery center, and said of all 7 places where he operates, this was the best run, and most efficient.

I'm was here before for other procedures and was very satisfied .Well not anymore!! The place is horrible!! Is too small for all the person that have appts. When you get call is like you are a bag of potato. Rude , super quick like "I wanna just done with you" . Not a nice word, really rude onthe back, the guy that do my IV i even ask him what he said cause I can't heard him, and his answer was "never mind". My mouth is destroy, never happen this in the past. My God was going on with humanity and the healcare system in NV? Even when you wake up in recovery room after the procedure, they use to be nice. They ask you how you feel, did you want some juice, crakers? Now they just wake me up really rude, like come on get the hell out of here, and just put me in the wheelchair and take me out. That was a horrible experience. Is a shame how bad things are there rigth now. So disappointed.

I was treated like human garbage. I have never been treated so badly by any medical facility. I left in pain , nausea, and in distress. No one cared. The next day I was called and I told them I was still feeling terrible and had tremors all day and night. I had to be checked out at urgent care. They said I was fine and hung up. This is a medical factory where you will not be treated as a human being. It was a series of lines of people on gurneys being rushed out. I heard a nurse saying they did 210 people that morning. Two days later, my colonoscopy is still in pain.

Very disembodied over this whole ordeal. I am retired from the medical field and I know how things go this is absolutely atrocious. I came in with a UTI sepsis 103 fever and yet I was just charged! Never in my life have I had a nurse that was arrogant in argumentative considering I know how things go. I was admitted to another hospital because I'm sick.. you need to have a meeting with staff the doctor didn't even give me the right medications and I shouldn't have been home for the period of time that I was. I've never heard of discharging a patient with a fever of 102 that is just absolutely ridiculous this could be a lawsuit but you really need to check your staff. Money and politics that's all it is we have the worst healthcare system in the world but you can make your hospital better you know? I really hope you look into this because this is really bad this is a malpractice suit by far. The doctor didn't even come in to really go over anything she didn't listen to my lungs she just said what medicines do you need I'm discharging you that's all that was said that is pathetic!

My gastrointestinal doctor provides his services at this facility. The check in staff is very personable. The staff quickly checks you in and you wait for the nurse to take you inside to be prepared for your procedure. In the preparation room you are met by nice caring staff who take your weight, give you surgical gown, take vitals and discuss about important presurgical info. The room is cool so a heated blanket is provided. I have small veins so most nurses don't have experience and usually asks a veteran nurse available to place the needle in my arm. After my procedure, I wake in recovery area and the nurses assist in getting me processed out. They go over what's next, call my wife to bring the car to the exit door. They wheelchair me to my car.

Bing, bang, boom. They are at the height of efficiency. Once they get you past the waiting room, you’re stripped, gowned, and anesthetized in 5 minutes flat. And it’s the same when they wake you up - hand you your bag of clothes and any pertinent paperwork and tell you hurry and get dressed, your ride’s waiting and they wheel you out 50 ft to your family member’s waiting, running car. I say this all facetiously. BEWARE! THEY ARE A MILL! I had a dual procedure - endoscopy/colonoscopy. My waiting wife said “I couldn’t believe how fast they were, you were only in there an hour”. Huh…I assumed all went well, as no Dr or staff member said a word to me (except above mentioned “hurry, dress, ride’s waiting”). “Just take me home, I don’t feel good”. Once home went to bed as I had been up all night with system flush process. After anesthesia wore off I woke up in extreme pain, having to hurry to bathroom to excrete black, bloody yuck. I then read paperwork (I thought were aftercare instructions) large hiatal hernia and colonoscopy aborted due to severe diverticulitis. No one said a word to me or my wife after procedure. DO NOT LET YOUR DR SCHEDULE YOU FOR VALLEY VIEW SURGERY CENTER. Death trap waiting to happen.

I am here now with my grandmother. We have been here since 4pm yesterday afternoon.. my grandmother was moved upstairs to a personal room. It is now the next day and we have yet to see a doctor. My grandma isn't doing well and all these nurses and doctors are at the nurses station just talking amongst one another and or playing on their phones. My aunt has been here all night with her and has not seen one doctor since we brought my grandmother in. If I could give this place no stars I would. This hospital sucks and for the doctors that are supposed to be doing rounds. Where are they? Came to this hospital on Tuesday October 29th 2024 and have yet to see a doctor. It's now October 30th and the doctors have yet to come in. Wat kind of service are you guys giving these dying people... Oh none. Worthless hospital ever.

I am very dissatisfied with this facility.
My persons first appointment for a Colonescopy was canceled dues to the place being flooded. We were not informed until we arrived at 7:00AM.
The reschedule was for today.
My person was told to arrive at 10.30AM for an 11:30 appointment.
At noon we were told there were 7 patients yet to be seen and it would be another 2.5 hours to be called back!
My person at this point has anxiety issues. So I left and went home waiting for a call back to pick up my person!
It is now 2:45pm and no call as of yet!
This is inhumane!
My person has had no food for 36hrs
No drink for 12hrs
This is unacceptable care!
Further complaints will be filed!
As for the staff
They were kind and at the mercy of job!

I went in for an endoscopy yesterday. The doctor and most of the nurses were nice and attentive, but it took them forever to take me back which was not ideal because I couldn’t eat for drink for many hours. I had to stop drinking water two hours before the procedure, and it was hell because I was starving, thirsty and so anxious I felt like I was gonna pass out.
One of the nurses seemed a little judgmental. My pulse was 140 because of the state I was in, and they wanted to do an EKG. They did and it was a normal heart rhythm. Another nurse who was helping with the EKG was so strange. She was nice enough but also condescending and even gaslighted me a bit. Clearly they were concerned I had a heart problem, and I told the one nurse that my heart was just fast and nothing else, and she said, “Good for you!” Like what the hell? What’s that supposed to mean? “Nobody here is freaking out about your heart.” Really? Is that why y’all were insisting I have a heart problem? I swear it’s like these people have never heard of anxiety and vitamin deficiencies before.
And I told the strange nurse, as well as others that I wanted my sugar tested because I was afraid I was low and wanted glucose in my IV — I was ignored. “Well, if the doctor orders it, then we can do it.” Then when I told the same nurse about how I might have hypoglycemia, she said, “Oh, I don’t think that’s a thing anymore.” Like what? People don’t get low blood sugar anymore? Did you even go to medical school? Because that is totally incorrect. Just seemed like she didn’t want to deal with my issue.
But anyways, other than that, the doctor who performed the procedure was very nice, and the rest of the nurses were fine too. At least I regained consciousness.

From the perspective of waiting for a patient the front office/lobby is horribly run. There is no reason to stack 5-6 patients for the same doctor that does 30 minute procedures. Some advice to VV surgery - 1) put your form online, that would speed things up. Filling out forms would cut 30 minutes wait. 2) get a better scheduling program, again no reason to wait for 5 other people to be seen before us after we arrived on-time, which is a whole hour before the procedure. Better scheduling should cut at least an hour of wait. It's just good business sense. But there's three notices posted that highlight their inept scheduling and check in process. The notices tell the driver to "go home" or "run an erand" and they'll call you 20 minutes before pick up. Hence efficiency would also increase because the staff isn't chasing down rides for patients.

I had a colonoscopy in July 2024. Other than 45 minutes wait after my scheduled time. The Doctors, Nurses and Staff were very professional and extremely efficient. Let me first say that the front office staff, nurses,
anesthesiologist and my doctor were great. I can confirm as other reviews say that the facility isn’t big enough for all of the doctors that work out of this office, the wait time is too long and the waiting room is too small so the person that brought you can’t stay with you. I was told to show up at 7:45 AM for a 9:15 AM appointment (which I did), I was taken back at 10:50 AM and my procedure started at 11:15 AM. I was able to leave at 12 PM. I do appreciate the care that was given to me once my name was finally called and it was go time. The nurses are very thorough and explained every step of what’s happening and insured that I was comfortable before and after the procedure.

This place is a 'must avoid'. While the staff tries they are totally overwhelmed. What can you say about a place where the BATHROOMS are used as changing rooms for patients and 'since we don't have a bed you'll have to change your clothes and have your surgery prep -- including IV hookup -- IN AN UNSANITZED CHAIR'? They are operating at what seems to be 200% of capacity and definitely gives the feeling of "I hope I survive this trip with no adverse after effects". I don't know who regulates what number of patients can be allowed for a certain square footage, but whomever that is needs to get involved.

The building is VERY small for the amount of patients that were present. There is not enough doctors, staff, or rooms to accommodate the number of patients. Staff was friendly, just seemed overworked. Every seat in the tiny waiting room was taken, patients were forced to sit out front in the desert summer heat. My appointment was at 8:15, I was told to arrive an hour early, so I got there at 7:15. Took two hours to be taken back, and was finally seen at 10:15. Was told the procedure would take 20 minutes, took close to 4 hours. I would find another office, or plan on being there all day.

Very very very bad surgery management. Over long waiting time for 2-3 hours for a scheduled procedure. Terrible experience, never had this kind of treatment before. Low zero star ⭐️if there is a choice. Avoid go to this place.
Very busy place for a surgery center, over 10 persons in waiting room for surgery.
Don’t know how to put out patients information from system, old outdated insurance information has been put out and the fact of new insurance has been used already for over half year, been used by two doctors before referral to here. So much shock and anxiety caused to orderly customers💀😰🥵😨👻.

Organization and being prepared should be priority in the medical profession at all times. Today, was totally avoidable. While waiting for my mother’s name to be called for her surgery appointment, a staff member asked for the attention of the crowded waiting room to notify if anyone in the waiting room is not a patient they need to wait outside. Unfortunately this day it is very cold and windy. The staff at Medical District Surgery Center needs to do better. This probably isn’t the 1st time this has happened and it won’t be the last.

If you can please avoid this place and digestive associates. I’m 19 and I don’t have any health issues aside from recent gi issues after a case of food poisoning. I was supposed to have an endoscopy procedure done today. I did all the preparation correctly by fasting after midnight. When I was called to come inside my heart rate was high at 136 and going up. The nurse said we’ll check again then took me to the bathroom to give a urine sample and change into the hospital gown. Immediately without giving time they checked my heart rate again which was at 161.There were a bunch of other staff who I presume are also nurses looking at the monitor then saying “omg that’s so high” which only scared me further. Would your heart rate not go up with people actively saying omg it’s so high. One of the nurses even said maybe she has svt to another nurse.
After this entire mess the anesthesiologist came to speak to me and he only worsened how anxious I already was. From his words “if you were 65 years old I would be sending you to the er in an ambulance.” he basically dismissed that my heart rate could be due to me being anxious for the procedure or even a medication side effect. I explained that I’ve had an ekg recently for a fast heart rate at the er which came back normal. I was told at that er visit it was likely anxiety as I don’t have any health issues other than recent gi symptoms. Anyways he said he wouldn’t be able to put me to sleep for the procedure and that I needed to schedule an ppointment with my family doctor.
My issue isn’t that they were unable to do the procedure due to my heart rate rather it was how they all continued to actively scare me when I was already anxious enough to start with. They also didn’t take time to see if my heart rate would go down. Also if my heart rate is so concerning why wouldn’t you tell me to go to an urgent care /emergency room? After all this I immediately went to southwest urgent care because I genuinely believed I was on the brink of a heart attack or other health crisis. After getting an ekg done, and labs everything came back normal. My initial heart rate at urgent care was also high but after receiving iv fluids (due to being dehydrated from the preparation for the endoscopy) it came down. Anyways I know for a fact if I call they’ll reschedule for 3+ months later which I won’t do because I refuse to experience this again.

Now I’m a very prompt person so I get her to their office at 4:50 AM, and the office is closed, and now it is 5:10 AM, so now we are sitting outside in the cold car. They don’t even open until 6:00 AM, SO WHY WOULD YOU HAVE SOMEONE SHOW UP 2 HOURS EARLY (5:00AM) FOR A 7:00 AM APPOINTMENT WHEN YOU ARE NOT EVEN OPEN. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. The doors just open 5:42 AM. Called several times and went to voicemail. I guess I'm missing my appointment today because I'm not going to get ready and drive there to be told some outrageous mount is due and walk out wasting my whole morning. If an amount I'd due day of, INCLUDE THAT AMOUNT DUE IN THE PAPERWORK. NOT EVERYONE HAS $500 THEY DON'T NEED, ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY OR DISABLED.

Wait times are a little long. Arrived at 8:45am for a colonoscopy but was not called back to pre op until 10:30am. The waiting area was very full and many people seemed upset and uncomfortable due to long wait times. Fortunately I found a seat near a tv facing a wall and I was comfortable there until I was called back. Once I was in pre op I really enjoyed my nurse. She was kind and explained every thing in detail and I felt very comfortable. Once I had my procedure I was wheeled out in a wheel chair to my waiting ride and I really appreciated the sweet nurse who helped me get inside the car. I was quite dizzy from the meds. Overall I was very pleased with the service I received here. Yes, the wait was long but the staff and service received exceeded my expectations. Came here with my wife for the same procedures that we were schefuled for on Wednesday, August, 30th, 2023 at 7:30am.
The most aggravating part was the office was jam packed. A Gentleman who works here had to come out and politely ask all rides wait outside, so patients could sit down. Even after he announced this, some left and the other half stayed and ignored him.
They should've kicked those who refused to leave out. Then to top it off there was only one restroom for men and women. Apparently the office doesn't like to clean it or keep the toilet paper stocked.
To legit sit and wait for my wife and I to be called just to give insurance, I.D, and payment was ridiculous. Very uncomfortable feeling when you were told to take a colon prep the day of at 3am and one restroom is pathetic, no less like I said no toilet paper.
Yet I will admit the staff were polite, professional, showed common respect, and did try there best. They said good morning and did try to break the awkwardness in the office after telling rides to wait outside.
I can say I wish they had more restrooms for patients as they should understand some are still on colon preps, medications, and or have medical conditions. The office was waiting area was not really clean.

This place is the worst! I went there for a colonoscopy and arrived at 10:15AM. I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours and 15 minutes before they called me! When we arrived they told my husband there was no room in the waiting area and that he should go somewhere else or sit outside. After an hour passed I was concerned about my husband being out in the 100 degree heat, and asked him to join me, as there were ample vacant seats available. At 1:30PM I was finally called into the back where they inserted my IV and went over my history. I was not wheeled into the surgical area until 2:45PM and did not leave until 3:30PM. It is awful how they treat the patients by making them wait that long, especially when they had a liquid diet the day before and were instructed not to drink anything 4 hours prior to arrival time. They overbook the patients and it is a cattle call! While the staff was very friendly and professional, I have to give this one star because there is absolutely no excuse for making patients wait that long. When I complained to the Dr. and staff, I was told this was just a crazy day. However, from talking to repeat patients in the waiting room and seeing other negative reviews on YELP it is easy to see that this lack of regard for patients is the norm! I have had 2 colonoscopies over the years in a different state, and never had to wait that insane an amount of time! The negative reviews on YELP go back many years so it is obvious this place has very little regard for how the patients are made to wait and only are interested in making as much money as possible!

I left without having a procedure done because the staff were rude in the face of my concerns.
Upon checking in, I was surprised to hear my balance due was higher than expected. The front-desk registration representative mentioned notes in my file regarding old/secondary insurance. This worried me, as I'd had issues with my insurance before, I wasn't sure if that was what was producing the high balance.
I asked the person at the front desk if there was a billing/insurance person in the building that I could talk to. He let me know he would "see if she could come explain it to you better" and I responded that "I don't need another interpretation of what you've told me. I have some questions I'd like to ask"
He returned at least twenty minutes later- not with the person I'd asked for- but to tell me that nothing had changed. This upset me, because I'd asked for the person who deals with insurance and billing, not a front desk registration representative.
He went and got her and when she came out front to talk to me, it felt contentious from the get-go. As if she was annoyed she had to leave her office to talk to a patient.
I simply wanted to clarify somethings about the notes in my chart and about how my procedure was coded. Because I was already aggravated, she didn't seem interested at all in calming me. It really did seem she came out of her office with the expectation of having a debate, rather than to calm the worries of a patient being faced with a huge bill upfront. The front desk representative offered to have me seen and would send me a bill at a later date, but this woman vetoed that plan.
I would've still gone through with it had that option been on the table, but this lady's rudeness prevented either of us to getting to the answers I needed before I decided to cancel my appointment so I could take my insurance and money someplace else.
*On top of all this, and unrelated, this is the type of office that yells your name out "MIDDLE WINDOW PLEASE!!" rather than being private and professional about it like a normal doctor's office. It felt like I was at the DMV.
I will be having these procedures done, just not at this surgery center.

Took my parent here for a colonocopy appointment was at 2pm was asked to be there at 1 they didn't see her until 5pm when they close they must have rushed and as I'm writing this they called and said they couldn't even finish the colonoscopy this appointment was 2 weeks ago 2 days after the colonoscopy my parent ended up in the hospital for a week draining the libgs with a tube and is now on oxygen at home and never had lung or breathing issues before. They had to have done something to her in a rush and I could tell they lied when every car left and she was the last patient, i asked lady said no theres a few more but she told me she was the only one in there left herself.I waited outside the building in my car the whole time they called me at 5pm saying she would be ready in 10 mins then hearing her say they only took her in for surgery at 5 got her out by 525 it doesn't make sense to rush on a 70 year Olds body. Don't take your loved one here it's shady all the way around. Even the phone call to pick her up the guy was unsure sounding and even stopped talking mid sentence because someone in the background was telling him to tell me something else DO NOT DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE.
