I truly appreciate how accommodating and helpful Dr. Helard was throughout the process. Since my visit was last April 30 and it is already May 19, I am hopeful that my first name may already have been corrected in the records for my appointment referral. Este lugar es maravilloso, lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados. El médico es todo un profesional, aclara todas las dudas de la paciente, sentí en mi primera cita que el doctor no tenía prisa por acabar la consulta (algo que no es frecuente) se tomó todo el tiempo del mundo para explicar parte por parte todo lo que quise saber, llegué muy angustiada por otras experiencias negativas y me fui tranquila y complacida. Under HIPAA, a husband can generally check on when a prescription will be called in for his wife, but it is not an automatic right…. So you think you’re a somebody and have the automatic right to decide for my wife when she asked me to call and check status on a prescription? You are wrong you been caught. This came straight from hippa laws and you are a nobody!!

I’m not letting this go. You all lied to the medical board. My wife never said she didn’t want the medication she was asking me as we were leaving when we can pick it up. The medical board said they can get the recording and she wants that recording. You all say she never mentioned vomiting but I was sitting there as she was telling the doctor she’s been vomiting and not feeling well at all. You all are absolute liars. Another complaint will be filed to the board and we want that recording because we know you all are liars. Also you all called her once not twice and all you said to her was she needs to come back in tomorrow because of certain things I’m not going to discuss in public. Not once did you ask her how she was feeling. She didn’t cancel her appointment because I didn’t like your policies she cancelled because she could get her medication the next day through another location cause you all didn’t even take care of it and do your job. She also cancelled because me and her sat on hold for 25 minutes with you all refusing to answer the phone and it hanging up after 25 minutes so she can tell you need to let me know when the medication was ready. You are incorrect hippa laws doesn’t have anything to do with knowing when a prescription is going to be ready or not. I didn’t ask one question health related. I feel so bad for the doctor. He seems like he cares but the people in the front office are just terrible human beings. Switch everything to the red rock location. They helped. I called trying to figure out when my wife’s prescription was going to be ready. They refused to answer. They clearly don’t understand hippa laws as they were using that as an excuse. My name is all over the paperwork. They refused to help trying to figure out why her prescription wasn’t ready. I asked no questions related to her health just want to know why her prescription wasn’t called in yet. The red rock location helped found out they never called it in. They refuse to answer the phone the whole day. The red rock location couldn’t even get a hold of them. They are terrible human beings and that poor doctor is going nowhere with those individuals working there. He needs to find new staff. Stay away from this location.

**Edit it’s been 8 days and they still have yet to call the medication in.. they don’t answer the phones when needed and don’t take care of anything. Wife hasn’t been able to keep food in for 8 days and the medication was suppose to help with nausea. Stay away from this location. I asked for help in figuring out when her medication would be called in and they hung up on me refusing to help. I will be filing a complaint to the medical board if this isn’t resolved. That lady should not be employed in the medical field.

The way my brother and his wife were treated is disgraceful. Unprofessional to say the least. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. As a healthcare worker who works on a mother/baby unit of a hospital that is ranked 13 in the country, your practices are not evidence based at all. To not allow the father of the baby to be apart of his wife’s medical care is beyond belief. She asked for him to be in the room with her and he has every right to not only be a part of her care, but informed about the care of his child. I am concerned about the treatment received by my minor child at this specific facility. During a recent visit, my minor child was placed in a room alone without her mother’s access. Furthermore, a male doctor entered the room without parental authorization. Parents are strongly advised to be vigilant about the physicians who treat our minor children. The treatment my daughter and I received today during her first OB visit was very traumatic.

I had previously given this practice a 5 star rating. I take it back, but not because of the provider - he is still great. But because of the front desk staff. On theee different occasions there have been incidents that need mention.
1. I went in for a follow up ultrasound to ensure my miscarriage was finished last fall. I waited in the waiting room for 2 hours. I had arrived approximately 10 minutes before my appointment and they kept calling other women back who arrived after me, including 1 who arrived 45 minutes after I did.
2. In March I had annual blood work drawn in office. The front desk/MA who drew my labs asked if I had a preference. I told her my left arm typically yields better results. She looked at both arms, and couldn’t see the vein in my left arm so told me she would be drawing from my right arm anyway because she could see it on that side. I told her that I would like her to try my left first. She then proceeded to tell me that it would be my fault if she blew a vein since she couldn’t see what she was doing. She was able to successfully draw on my left with minimal discomfort, but the interaction sat funny with me.
3. Yesterday, I called in with UTI symptoms and was told I needed to come in for a consultation and to leave a sample. I WFH and literally live across the street from the clinic, so it’s truly nbd to go on my lunch. I was offered an 11:45 appt, I asked if I was on time would I be done by 12:20 so that I was back on time. I was told yes, that wouldn’t be a problem. I arrived at 11:38 and checked in. They did not see that I had checked in until 11:55 (when she grabbed the clipboard). At 12:03 I approached the window to let her know I really needed to pee. She told me she was busy and to give her a minute, so I sat back down. Finally, at 12:17 she called me to the window and told me my co-pay. I asked if we were going to be done in less than 10 minutes as I needed to get back home and clock in. She looked at me like I was insane and told me there was no way, and that she added me in today as a favor. I reminded her that she was the one who told me that I’d be done and home by the time I needed to be. She then stated that I wasn’t special and there were patients ahead of me. I told her that I would have gone to urgent care down the road had I known this was going to happen. I Asked if I could leave a sample and change appt to virtual. I was told no and handed back my debit card without being charged and told I could go to urgent care since I had to get back to work. That’s exactly what I did after work and they had me in and out in less than an hour.

I won’t be going back, but again, this has nothing to do with the provider and everything to do with the older of the 2 MA’s working at that clinic.

I’ve had two appointments with this office in the last 30 days, and both times they completely wasted my time. The first time after confirming the appointment running my insurance prior to the appointment, they wait until I get there to ask me do I have a referral, mind you I'm already an existing patient. I'm struggling with health issues and just getting there was laborious, just to be denied service for something a simple phone call could have handled.

Three weeks later 2nd appointment, i get there and they ask for my social security number. They failed to communicate in advance that they require a Social Security number (supposedly a new policy, mind you this was not asked 3 weeks prior) to be seen—even for insured patients offering valid ID and insurance information. When I declined to provide my SSN for privacy reasons, I was rudely refused service with no attempt at a respectful conversation or alternative solution. The staff was dismissive and unprofessional. If this is a non-negotiable policy, it should be made clear before patients show up and waste their time. Extremely disappointing experience.
Front staff especially the one that sits on the left, condescending and rude.

BTW my experience with the medical staff has always been great. Front office nope.

Doctor is okay. But they came off a little racist. I am 4 months pregnant and has had 1 ultrasound. I went to an appointment today and I was told my one year old and her dad had to sit outside in the hallway with the elevator because we was only listening to the heart beat of the baby. Is that not important for the dad to hear too I guess not. They didn’t even know why I was there for the appointment. Mexican / Hispanic are treated better there than the black people. If your are black do not waste your time or gas. Reception didn’t want to help after I told them I was going to another clinic. Just a lil wierd to me and unorganized. Even babydaddy didn’t understand what they were doing or the rules they have in place. Appointment before that they made my 11 year old sit in the lobby by her self and told me to take my one year old with me smh. Kid are being taking everyday dumbs.

I couldn’t find my health card but I brought my husband’s whose insurance I am under and said “he is 00 and I am 01” I also gave my ID. I was told that the number sequences are different and she couldn’t go off of my husband’s card. Then I was told to go on the HPN portal to get my card. I couldn’t get into the portal without my HPN card #. Thank goodness that my husband was available to go on the portal and send me a picture.

Everyone was so kind and helpful but the start was a little rocky for me.

I own a virtual contact center and one of my clients are a group of drs across New York. My agents handle this type of situation frequently. I’m curious if this process could have been handled better or is it a NV regulatory process?

Anyway, everything else was great. The staff is very kind and I enjoyed my consult with Dr. Hennings.

Gracias por su respuesta, en contestación si, la cita que me dabas el año pasado 3 meses después no la tome no puede ser que cancelara si no la reservé, porque necesitaba una revisión por aborto espontaneo no podía esperar tanto. Fue muy duro lo que pasó como para lidiar con sus groserías. Y la cita que cancele que me diste después de varias llamadas en espera, la cancele porque no merecía el trato que recibí de parte del personal. Mi esposo llamó para aclarar dudas sobre sus costos que no fueron contestadas. Al final llegamos a la conclusión que después de insistir tanto era claro que no querían atenderme. Y media hora después se hizo la cancelación por telefono.

Desgraciadamente no llegue a ser atendida por el médico... el personal de recepción es grosero. Contare mi experiencia para dar contexto.
Junio del 2022 hable para realizar una cita, un par de dias antes intente llamar para cancelarla debido a que no podía asistir para ser exacta tenia mi cita en lunes fue por algo que no estaba en mi control que me sucedió el día viernes. Llamé más de 12 veces desde el viernes y durante el lunes temprano (tengo registro de llamadas) hasta que deje mensajes donde explicaba las razones nunca me devolvieron la llamada esa misma semana intente realizar una nueva cita ya que requería revisión pero la chica de recepción me dijo que si quería me la daría en 3 meses! Su molestia era porque no asisti a mi cita anterior lo cual entiendo, pero intente explicarle que yo llame muchas veces. No podía esperar tanto, así que no tome la cita (me atendi en mi país natal debido a que haría un viaje más pronto que la cita que pretendían darme) paso el tiempo y por recomendación de 2 amigas pacientes queria realmente que el DR. Herald fuese mi ginecologo de cabecera pero llame después de casi un año y no me podían agendar cita porque en el pasado no fui... otra vez explique que hable, incluso me ofreci a pagar la cita "no show" y mi cita por adelantado pero pidieron llamara temprano para ver "si podían atenderme" después de llamar, tiempo en espera, una actitud pésima decidí buscar otro ginecologo. "Al buen entendedor pocas palabras " así que me canse de insistir fue una lástima porque tengo muy buenas referencias del Dr.

Office staff is very unhelpful, rarely if ever answer phones or return messages. My wife is sick and might have covid and they said becuase this is her 3rd appointment missed that she can no longer go back. What a friendly staff lol they don't care for patients, as if we want to go back to them after this. Do you want her to come in and get everyone sick? Stay away from this office

Dr. Helard Ballon is wonderful! He listens, very thorough & his bedside manner is superb! I highly recommend him!
I must include how much I appreciate his office’ manager. She has the best customer service, very compassionate, always asks how I’m feeling.

Dr. Helard Ballon is a caring and compassionate doctor. I felt safe with him and I’m relieved I found him. He took the time to listen to my personal health concerns and guided me with a clear plan of action. Dr. Ballon’s receptionist, nurse, and staff are also very compassionate and organized. The office is very clean and patients’ appointments are spread out to limit any exposure. I’ve never felt safer during Covid. I waited only a few minutes in the waiting room. This is one of those doctors that once you find, you’re with for a lifetime.

I went to see this OB because my general Dr. asked me to. First they wanted me to bring my own medical records, because the receptionist is not capable of locating them herself. I have never had to bring my medical records anywhere. Who carries their medical records? Mind you the Dr. is in the same network. After an hour of waiting for me to retrieve my own records, they send me to see the doctor, he just looked at me and said that I was fine, did not do any lab work or touch me period. That was that! Five minutes.
When I left the receptionist said she scheduled me for a following week I told her no, I am not coming back to this place. A few days later I got a text message confirming my apt, I replied and called. (The office manager, because everyone who answers the phone is the office manager), said it was cancelled. Today I got a $25 : No show fee. the other office manager was very rude. I asked to speak to the Dr. and she became even more rude. I was transferred to a general mail box. I have also notified my doctor so they can stop sending patients to this group of people. By the way I was not fine like the Dr. said.

I have been struggling to find an OBGYN that I can trust and Dr. Ballon is amazing! He is hands down the best OB in the valley !! This review would have 5 stars if it weren’t for office personnel, they are all really nice and are helpfully when needed but tend to be slow or idk if it that’s they are too busy but you will be stuck in the waiting room for a while. Wether you have an appointment or you show up early for your appointment. Just be prepared to wait a good 30-45 minutes after your appointment time to be escorted into a room if your lucky. Best advice DONT! schedule anything after your appointments here because there’s no saying how long your visit will take and there’s a fee if you have to reschedule your appointment if it’s less than 3 days before your appt.

Words can’t describe how thankful I am for Dr. Ballon. For years I have been trying to get things figured out with my body and why it’s wasn’t working properly. I was referred to him in 2018 and I thought to myself “here we go again, another Dr that is just going to say my issue is weight and not give me a second thought”, Oh boy was I wrong! He listened to everything thing I had to say and made me feel like he truly cared about me. He knew I wanted to get pregnant and have a baby. We tried something and when it didn’t work we tried something else. Finally in 2020 I was pregnant! During my pregnancy nothing changed, he still made me feel like I was his only patient and on February 25th 2021 he delivered my healthy baby boy. When I look at my son now I thank god that I found Dr. Ballon and his amazing staff, I appreciate you all!

One of the receptionist talks super fast. All the staff is friendly tho. The only thing I did not like was that I had to pay and have a consolation for one visit. Then my next visit, paying again. Not everyone at the office was on the same page with the co-pay but overall the visit was very good.
