On my first appointment at Desert Orthopedic facility with Doctor Abdi Raissi, I felt a certain sense of comfort towards him due to his gentle demeanor, kindness, reassurance and professionalism. After examining my ankle’s condition, he first and foremost, ordered an Xray on location to better determine the extent of the damage. The Xray results were inconclusive and called in for an MRI with contrast. Some months later I had another bout of inflammation whereby Doctor King and Doctor Lila performed a cortisone shot which calmed down the inflammation for 7 months. Thereafter I was experiencing monthly bouts of inflammation caused by excessive walking until suddenly I experienced a debilitating inflammation causing me to depend on a walker. Once again, Doctor Raissi ordered another MRI with contrast. Upon receiving the results, he gave me 2 options. I decided to undergo a surgical procedure to avoid future debilitating and paralyzing inflammations. I am forever thankful and blessed that Doctor Abdi Raissi performed my surgery successfully. He deserve the entire five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I gave him and his team who assisted in prepping me prior and during surgery at Desert Orthopedic Center. Listing their names:

They are all top notch care takers exercising different responsibilities but work together harmoniously. Team Raissi is a phenomenal team. They are professional, responsive and knowledgeable. I’d like to especially thank Dr. Raissi for listening and understanding and I’d like to especially thank LJ for being gentle and compassionate. This was my first bone break/fracture and I was so afraid the entire time (not to mention in pain). They guided me during my healing journey and helped me understand each step in the process. I can’t say enough good things about this team.

Desert Orthopedics Center staff was pleasantly efficient. The staff was friendly as well as informative about the processes.
Doctor Raissi MD, was polite and professional. Our encounter was brief but productive. His evaluation was quick and direct. He did not make assumptions of the injury but explained the findings of the initial x-ray. A quick manipulation of the joint (ankle) he explained there was evidence to proceed with an MRI. He did not recommend needless physical therapy but to complete a more in depth scan of ligaments and tendons. He stated we would follow up with the results and proceed from there.
The check out process was fast and convenient. My time at the office was actually shorter than I anticipated.
