My son is on the spectrum. He is 8 and it was his first time getting dental work done. I was a nervous reck. This place is amazing! 10 out of 10. Will probably never go anywhere else. Thank you so very much. Everyone from the front desk, dental assistants and the dentist I had LITERALLY IT COULDN'T OF WENT ANY BETTER! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

It was very easy to schedule an appointment. The doctor and assistant were very kind and professional. The visit was fast with no waiting time, and everything was explained clearly. I also appreciated that they did not push any unnecessary treatments or extra services just to increase billing. Overall, it was a great experience for my child. Highly recommended!

IDK what to say, my son chipped his tooth.. Went in the hours they said they did walk ins and the door was locked at 11 am. Went again later at 3 and was told my son could not see him because walk in hours are at 11, I said I was here at that time, well I’m sorry we went to lunch early.. Mind you Took my son to the emergency room, but they said they can’t do anything. He needs to see a dentist. Well, my son‘s in pain he’s asking to see the dentist were denied. Said we have to make an appointment. Not sure how to feel, but my son being comfortable to come to the dentist cause that’s who he expect is going to fix his tooth and they’re telling him no. Horrible impression for a five-year-old. Holding my frustration, trying to stay cool and comfort my son. And in the back of my mind I was there when they said they did walk ins. Asked if I can come tomorrow and the front desk young lady said, well we really don’t do walk ins any ways, you just have to make an appointment.. Just felt helpless for my son. Horrible experience for him when he is in a place asking for help and he knows that’s where he needs to be to be helped.. No compassion, empathy or even sympathy.. She didn’t even care or say anything comforting to my son.

Absolute Dental at Durango Kids is definitely the place to take your child! When walking in the vibe is absolutely amazing and super kid friendly. It doesn’t feel like a dental office but a welcoming home. Dr Kim and staff are extremely patient and loving to the children. They send plenty of appointment reminders whether it’s via text or phone calls. They even offer Saturday appointments! They have a no cavity club wall and they do monthly drawings for the kids with no cavities which is amazing because that will only motivate them to brush better and come back every 6 months. They also display your child’s art work making them feel special and part of the Durango Kids family. No need to look further this is the place for your kids. I will keep taking my kids to this office and will refer all my friends and family.

He was very anxious about his visit, but Melany was so kind, patient, and gentle that she helped calm him down right away. Took my one year old here, the staff was SOOOO kind & accommodating.
Front desk was very welcoming, offered coloring pages to pass the time.
At first, I was anxious as she can be hard to manage being so young, the dentist could seem intimidating… But Dr. Kim & his assistant Mishon were so sweet & calming of nature, she was all smiles to let them give her a cleaning. I felt at ease hearing them educate on continuing care for my little.

I have been to plenty of Kids dentist around the valley! This kids Absolute Dental is absolutely the BEST in the valley hands down extremely professional! They have a policy that I couldn't be in the room with my son for the dental procedures. As a parent, I am not comfortable with that, so I walked out. They need to have that posted somewhere because I was not informed of that until the last second. (Other places do not have this policy). Also, the dentist needs to be CRYSTAL clear of what is going to be done. Now I have to find a needle in a haystack that accepts both of my insurances and doesn't have this policy.

I guess bring your children here if you DONT love and care about them.

It’s the worst kids dentist that I ever been around my kid is 9 they were taking out five of his baby teeth and they would not let one of his parents back there with him when he was scared they said all Dentist offices are like this and soon as I left I called other kids dentist they all said they let a patient back there with him they were giving him laughing gas the question is why don’t they want us back there. Then my son said that he needed some water back there and they told him to go drink out of the Sink the doc was nice and the lady at the front was nice all of the other people Plus the manager was the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in my life and I hate complaining about stuff for me to put this on your it has it had to have been bad go at your own risk then when I questioned them about it they told me that they’re not gonna do no work on them after I just spent them spending $6000 for his braces
