I recently had two impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr. James Kim, DDS, MD, and I had a great experience overall. Although there was about a two-hour wait before my procedure, Dr. Kim more than made up for it with his professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency.

He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, answer my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable. The extraction itself was surprisingly quick, and my recovery has been much easier than expected. I experienced little to no pain afterward, which speaks to his skill and expertise.

If you’re looking for an oral surgeon who is informative, experienced, and delivers excellent results, I highly recommend Dr. Kim and his team.

This was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a dental office.

My elderly mother’s dentures were made so poorly that they caused her severe pain and would not stay in her mouth. They were essentially unusable. Instead of showing compassion and trying to solve the problem, the doctor was rude, dismissive, and showed no concern for my mother’s suffering.

When we returned asking for help, we were simply told that nothing could be done That is completely unacceptable. A healthcare professional should stand behind their work and treat patients with respect, especially elderly patients who are already in pain.

We paid expecting professional care and quality treatment. Instead, we received poor workmanship, a lack of accountability, and an unacceptable attitude. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality dental care.

The staff were quite friendly and communicative. The wait was minimal for the amount of patients that were there at that particular time. I was there for a consultation and to set up an appointment for extractions and my oral surgeon was attentive and ready to answer any questions, explaining everything as needed.

I chipped my front tooth on Friday, called “Absolute Dental” and got an appointment 3 days later on Monday at 12:00 and my tooth was fixed by 12:45 fantastic and very professional work from Front Desk to my Dentist and her assistants.

Everytime I have gone for my visits, there has either been a no show hygienist or a very late hygienist. This has caused rescheduling and appointments that last much longer than they probably should. Otherwise, everyone here is extremely kind and helpful.

I don’t know who answers the phone at 9 a.m., on Monday June 8th 2026 but the service was horrible. He couldn’t find my canceled appointment when I was trying to rebook, and he kept hanging up on me. I also had difficulty understanding him. I will be filing a BBB complaint because I am very unhappy with how I was treated.

Let me start off with saying it’s been a long time that I’ve been to a dentist not only because I was terrified, but I was tired of being judged by the dentist and the staff at every place I’d go to in this past year, is to the point where I need to get all my teeth pulled and get Dentures put in, Being that I’m only 37 and me having to go get All of my teeth that I have left pulled out. I get very emotional and insecure about myself. It’s a really hard subject for me to discuss and deal with, but the ladies here Absolute dental on flamingo and rainbow. They are absolutely amazing. They weren’t giving me dirty looks they weren’t making me feel less of myself. All of the staff that I dealt with were honestly being 100% supportive of my feelings, they didn’t Judge me nor make me feel any less of myself and that meant so much to me. I would definitely recommend Anyone going through the same problems as me come see them. It’s gonna be a process for me to get my beautiful smile. I had a dentist appointment because I was experiencing tooth pain. After arranging childcare and going to the clinic, I was informed that there was no dentist available today. I now have to reschedule, which means losing several hours and additional babysitting expenses. I was disappointed, as the staff didn’t seem concerned about the inconvenience this caused. The dentist at this location told me that I had an infection than told me that I could have it pulled or a procedure to save the tooth which would cost me thousands and that was it no other alternatives maybe like antibiotics to kill the infection for now or something else they get 1 star and that's being generous

I only had my 1st visit at Absolute Dental which was spent taking images of my teeth and going over results with the Dentist . my 1st visit was pleasant if there is such a thing for a dental office ha! ha!
From start to finish everyone was nice, knowledgeable and professional. I want to say my wait time in the waiting room was less than 10 minutes. The dentist bedside manner was spot on, she took the time to explain the plan for my teeth going forward. The facility was clean. I did notice 1 big room with a few occupied dental chairs with people getting work done on their teeth. If privacy is a must for you then this office may not suit you.
As for myself, the Dentist pointed out a couple of issues with my teeth and I am looking forward to my return for a deep clean. I hope this review is helpful.

Very friendly staff, Doc is great, explained in detail what treatment was needed. Front office staff were friendly and explained insurance coverage and out of pocket pricing. Unfortunately if you have NV Medicaid and have Liberty Dental, they don't cover stuff that should be covered. With what I needed to get done it is too damn expensive. It's basically the price of a decent used car. $14k. Or I can get 2 teeth extracted for free., because those are covered .

This dentist office is on some straight bs. They call me and tell me I have to get any services that my insurance covers before December because my coverage will not roll over into next year. They never told me that I owed any balance from a previous appointment. I get there for my appointment and they tell me that I owe over $1000 from a treatment for some partials I had made from over a year and a half ago because my insurance didn’t cover it. That alone is some bs because they had to order the partials and it took over two weeks to come. Also at that time they went over all of what was covered and what wasn’t. They bill you anything out of pocket before they do any service. They would have never done a service especially for over 1000 dollars if it wasn’t covered. They claim they made two attempts to bill my insurance but my insurance denied it and now they are sticking me with the bill and refusing to do my exam. That’s basically fraud because why would they have ordered the partials and got them if they were not covered? Also, whatever was not covered they would have billed me at the time of treatment. Be careful if you go to this office because they are finessing. I filed a complaint against them through my insurance. They should have been told me this as well and not have waited until I got there just to refuse me my appointment.

I took my 7 year old daughter to get her cracked tooth removed and they turned us down saying I needed a code or something so they can give to the doctor. Like what code?! It’s a dentist! My daughter was not happy with her experience and how little care the dentist took when cleaning her teeth. It was painful and the dentist never stopped to check with her to see if she was doing okay and if she needed to be a little more gentle.

There are only 2 to 3 chairs in the waiting room. I never get seen on time. There’s always a problem with the paperwork every time I go, although the staff is nice and the dentist is nice. There’s no privacy. They talk very loud. You can hear everybody’s information when they’re talking to each patient Which clearly violates HIPAA policy. This location doesn’t even deserve 1 star. You will never be seen in time you booked the appointment for. You will atleast guarantee to sit for more than 30-45 mits at first. Then when they call you it’s to fill out a consent form over n over that you already did every time you are there. Then you sit back for another 30 mits. There is no communication between workers in there. They all give you different opinion on a single question you have for them! Wasted couple of hours of my day, we didn’t even get to see the dentist because there is only one in there! I want here today for a checkup. Was fine until time to go back. If you like privately talking about your teeth, don't go here they talk loud, and everyone hears it. The office smells VERY strongly of sewage. There’s only 3 chairs in th waiting area, I can’t even call it a waiting room, it’s a tiny corner. The Dr. wasn’t nice at all. I visited the location on 6820 West Flamingo last week for xray and consult. The office is very dingy and I thought it looked unkept. The tech was nice and did a adequate job taking the bite xray. However I had one tooth very loose, and so I waited for the Dr. She was not in the room 30 seconds and proceeded to say all three teeth needed to be removed. Now question about health or anything. They were to send me to an oral surgeon for a consult, and they wanted an outrageous amount of money for that. That aside they never called. I found a Oral surgeon myself after calling ten. Went to ask them to send a referral, and the girl behind the counter was very accomodating. However they did not even have a working fax. Don't use these people. Get a dentist that cares.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my recent experience at this dental clinic deserves some attention. To be clear, this is an honest review, not influenced by any offers or incentives which nobody offered anyway.

My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM, but unfortunately, the front desk staff arrived late, delaying the start of my visit by 30 minutes. But, the hygienist made up for the delay with her exceptional professionalism. The hygienist was warm, polite, and sincerely apologized multiple times for the late start. She conducted the X-rays and imaging efficiently and with care.

The dentist was also kind and complimented me on maintaining good oral health despite not having a teetn cleaning in over eight years. However, they found small two cavities that needed attention or deep cleaning.

Here’s where the experience took a turn: the billing staff showed me with a quote of $1,200 for a deep cleaning, or alternatively, a membership option that required a $100 fee and reduced the cost to $882. I was taken aback, as these prices are significantly higher than what other dental clinics charge for similar services. While I understand that my insurance doesn’t cover cleanings, the quoted price felt unreasonably steep. They did offer payment plans, but even with those, the cost didn’t seem justifiable.

Here’s my breakdown:
• Hygienist: 5/5 stars. She was truly amazing.
• Dentist: 4/5 stars. Professional but doesn't talk much.
• Billing/Cost: 0/5 stars. The prices felt like a rip-off.

Overall, while the staff provided excellent service, I can’t recommend this clinic due to the exorbitant pricing. If you’re looking for fair pricing, I’d suggest exploring other options. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning here.

Botched job. I came here to get simple fillings and cleanings done, every single one they did I had to come back a second or third time to have them fix or buff them out because they were done very poorly. I’ve never had to go back to a dentist to fix a basic filling this is a first for me. The cleaning people don’t know how to do a simple flossing or brushing which was my first concern. The dentist here has no pride in her work and leaves you with a hack job and refuses to make it right after leaving you looking like a hillbilly. They want you to pay out of pocket instead of charging insurance to fix what was done poorly and basically deny you service after destroying your teeth. They try to push expensive crowns and veneers when all you need are fillings or a buff. I would avoid this place at all costs or it will cost you an arm and a leg and permanently damage to your teeth. If they try to push anything other than a basic cleaning, GET A SECOND OPINION before ruining your teeth like I did here.

The dentist here does not care about you she only cares about upcharging expensive procedures. I ended up getting my teeth fixed at another dentist with no expensive crowns. They were shocked at the damage she did to my teeth. AVOID THIS BOTCHERY

I tried for a year to get my daughter seen here. When you do schedule an appointment it is months out. There were 2 occasions where they text me a day or two before the appointment stating her appointment was cancelled. When I called the office it was because the doctor was going out of town. Another time I drove clear to North side of town. For them to turn us away because my daughters referral was no longer good and expired. Would have been nice to know that before we drove there. I will say the people are friendly when you call but thats about the only positive thing I can say about this place. It is not Absolute Dental... Absolutely too small the receptionist is nice but for the amount of money they are trying to charge people for dental work you would think I would have a lot more privacy. Just got everyone looking at your X-ray and mouth photos. Definitely get a second opinion before paying these prices because I found another dental office for the same procedure for a quarter of the cost these people were trying to charge me.

Omg this place is such a life saver I originally had an appointment for 12/13/24 my toothache was the worst smh it had my whole side of my face hurting. Anyways, to make a long story short, they were able to get me in someway somehow and it was extremely booked and they fixed my mouth and I am so grateful thankful right about now. I’m in a little pain, but it is all worth it cause I don’t have to go through that toothache so I am good Thank you absolute Dental for your services. You guys will be seeing me again.

On a visit to family in Vegas, my tooth began to ache on the airplane. My family suggested. Absolute Dental-West Flamingo. I called and they fit me in on the afternoon of my arrival. The professionalism I experienced from every staff member exceeded my fondest expectations. Dr Yip diagnosed my problem, prescribed an anti biotic, and advised that I should travel home and consult my dentist there. I am so grateful. The pain is under control and the swelling has subsided.

I went to this location for a dental exam and cleaning. It's a brand new office. Dr.Vivian Yip was the dentist that took care of me. Oh she's awesome- great personality and a true professional. Everyone is nice but they don’t care. Went for cleaning first found out my filling was missing didn’t give me any antibiotics. Second went for deep cleaning told them about my gum infection and thought was more important still didn’t give me anything or recommended another office to get crowns because filling is still missing in a lot pain. I guess cleaning and money is more important that healthy teeth. Already telling everyone about this place. Thank you for the disappointment I was better never going to the dentist I never had an infection before.

The average wait time is between 3-5 hours. They have no regard for people schedule. Not only did they take forever to call my boyfriend back for his wisdom teeth surgery once he was back there it took an additional hour before they started surgery. This place is very unprofessional and I would never book here. This is an honest review don’t waste your time. They said it’s a “first come first serve basis” even though we had an appointment. This place is like the jiffy lube of Dentists. Trying to upsell you, and refused care for a basic cleaning, what I came in for if I didn't agree to what that wanted me to have done. Front desk staff also cornered me, while still in the chair, exam light across my lamp, paper bib still on. Doctor told me stay there and wait for front desk staff to come talk to me, it wasn't obviously my appointment was over, this turned out to be a sales pitch and they stood above me, while I was in the chair which was in a low reclined position and blocked the only way to exit the chair without having to push them aside. This is pyschological intimidation selling. I have never had any front desk staff approach me like that while in the exam chair. (Have you ever had the secretary brust into a Doctor's exam room and try to go over the bill when you have seen any other type of Doctor?! No! It's unprofessional.) When I didn't agree with the service they recommended (and the way they cornered me) they would not give me the basic cleaning I requested which was covered by my insurance. Because they wanted me to have a "middle range cleaning", not a deep cleaning, but something they were calling slightly different than a basic cleaning just so my insurance wouldn't cover it and they could upsell. If you actually read all the waviers/disclaimers they make you sign, it basically doesn't allow you to have any choice in the care that absolute Dental decide for you.

I showed up 10 mins before my appointment like requested but still waited over 45 mins to be seen, people that checked in after me were seen first.
The waiting room is very small, cramped and smells bad. The rest of the office looks clean and nice. The doctor and tech were nice but front desk was obviously coached to approach people in this way, and I disagree with this approach, and policy to not provide basic service/care, as mentioned.

I want here today for a checkup. Was fine until time to go back. If you like privately talking about your teeth, don't go here they talk loud, and everyone hears it. That's why when the dentist asked me if i had any questions for her, i said no, but i had a lot of questions but didn't feel comfortable with everyone hearing what was said.
They put my photos on the computer turned so everyone included other patients can see tryed to get the assistant to close it but was ignored. I

This place has the worst service. Does not care about people at all. You have to wait 4 weeks to have a tooth pulled after going there twice. One root canal and 2 crowns will run you about 11,000.00 here! I have the Nevada Dental medicaid and had an emergency......abscess on my gum......NO ANTIBIOTICS.....NOTHING! I was sent on my way with an 11,000 itemized statement of what I needed done and didn't even drain the abscess or try to get the infection down. All you get with the dental plan is an x ray...very disappointing! I thought they would do more for me but they did ABSOLUTE NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY.......... won't recommend!!!
