My experience today was truly disappointing. I’ve been coming to this office since I was a child with my grandmother, so it holds a lot of sentimental value to me. Finding out that Annie Matthew has retired already broke my heart. While Dr. Rowena was wonderful, her MA, Briana, left me feeling hurt and unwelcome. She barely spoke to my husband or me, and the lack of warmth or professionalism was shocking. When I addressed her behavior, she quickly tried to change her tone but by then, the damage was done. In my 29 years of coming here, I’ve never experienced anything like this. I honestly wasn’t going to write this, but the lack of care, attention, and respect I felt today truly hurt me.

I would like to share my honest opinion on my experience with this office and staff.

First I’d like to say that Annie Matthew is a great provider and that is the reason that I continued going to her for the last 5 years. You can get in quickly to see her and I have generally never had many issues. She has always listened to my concerns.

Now I’m not sure what happened recently with her office staff but in September of 2024 just a few months ago. I went in for a visit regarding rapid bone loss of some sort and needed to get a X-ray or US done to figure out what was going on. When I tell you these women dropped the ball so bad. I spent over 2 months calling them and leaving voicemails trying to get my chart notes sent in so I could get my Ultrasound done to figure out what was happening. I left several Voicemails that were never returned. No one cared enough to make sure that I got the care I needed, instead just ignored me.

Here we are on Feb 1st, 2025 and still no contact from an Office Manager or the Owner of this practice to try and get this resolved. I am extremely disturbed by how the Office Staff has handled my situation and shows just how unprofessional, evil, and uncaring they truly are.

I put this on here in hopes that Annie Matthew sees this and gets new staff or offers training on how to properly follow up on patients and not ignore/delete voicemails from patients requesting help.

There is absolutely no reason it should’ve took more than 2 weeks for SMA to receive the referral for me to get this stuff done.

So long story short I have had to officially get a new Provider and let’s see if they do a better job of getting my referral sent in for my X-ray!

I went to this place to get my medical Clarence for my surgery, and have them out patient me for my EKG.

I went a week before surgery and got my results back 2 days later: they didn’t even send it out when the got it.

When they did send it, it wasn’t filled out and they didn’t send graph of ekg. I called 2 days before surgery and asked them to send it and they never did . I had to get it done at the surgery center day before and pay after I payed them. The person who answers the main line doesn’t speak any English. I mean very very bad south asian/indian accent - and kept giving me the # I called them off of to call 😂😂

Let’s talk about the center, it’s nice. But the doctor unprofessional as hell. And honestly I think she’s against plastic surgery, the front desk VERY RUDE 💅✨✨ man with AirPods in and at the end of the day left not even knowing if they did what they were supposed to.

Absolutely do not go to absolute primary care they will absolutely do you wrong! The Brady bunch, who can’t do anything or listen at all. Absolute TERRAAASHHHH.

Made an appointment for my mother as a new patient. Never got a confirmation as I made an appointment online for her and I just called to see if I could book myself an appointment and they advised me that the location on Eastern are only accepting appts from Monday to Tuesday. Even though I was able to book an appointment for friday!? I proceeded to ask availability for Charleston location telling me that the office there is open till 4pm!! I wasted 1 week to just get nothing. Do better with your systems and if not remove the options to have self help and bookings and get better Front desk because the lady I spoke to was completely unaware how to speak proper!!!

I’m not from Las Vegas. I’m used to Cleveland Clinic doctors in Ohio but Dr. Annie is awesome! She’s caring, very thorough and she listens to her patients. I’ve only been seen by her twice but I’m happy that I found her. The staff is great as well!

The absolute worst. I went in with my husband for basic blood work and a check up In November. They never called us back. We couldn’t get through. Finally in January they scheduled us for a call, apologized and we waited all day for our scheduled call…. never heard from them. I have never had this bad of health care ever. They don’t return calls. Every time I needed something I had to go into the office. Missed emails to the doctor that resulted in my missing my surgery date twice. Their delay was two months in letting me know I had to see two specialist before my surgery. Prescriptions were another battle. When I have to continue to call the office and ask them to include a diagonis code, to the pharmacy, this is pretty sad. It took three weeks to get glucose test strips. Went to pick them up at CVS and they were the WRONG ones! I dropped off my test results for mammogram never heard back!

Very happy with my experience at Absolute Primary Care. Dr. Annie is one of the first MDs in years to put her hands on me for a physical and asked questions that made me feel that she was looking at my health holistically. I had my blood work and other samples done in-house and that was convenient and quick. I would give 0 stars if I could, 11 months ago my aunt (45) went in for a breast exam where some lumps were found, biopsy was done and my aunt was told it was a calcification nothing to worry about and to have a follow-up brest exam in 6 months. My aunt went in recently for her follow-up in a different city and that doctor was furious when told the my aunt was told not to worry it was just a calcification, my aunt has been diagnosed with breast cancer and this.office failed to correctly identify the cancer.

This place used to be really good now. It's nearly impossible just to get them to fill asthma inhalers. I personally came in because their phone lines were down and they said check with your pharmacy in a few hours. Nothing. I called their "back up phone number' and they told me all prescriptions get sent to the pharmacy at 5. It's 630 I called the pharmacy and they have heard nothing from absolute. I've been going here for years and they used to be really good but within the last 2 years they've seriously gone down hill.

The dr kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain my concerns for my husband, was not empathetic and made me feel dumb for worrying about my husbands health! I hope I never meet another dr like that. Sure, maybe there was no need to worry, which is great. But to not listen to my questions and concerns so I understand was very off putting and I thought I was going somewhere where they cared. We will be looking for another office.

Doctor Annie is very nice, supportive, well educated and listens to every/any concern I may have. Quick with response and results as well.

As for the front desk receptionist she was not polite at all. Had a attitude and even rolled her eyes a bunch when I addressed her with my concerns. On multiple times she made me feel unimportant and uncomfortable in a place myself and my husband have been coming to for a couple years now. It's unfortunate that most of my time is in the waiting room and had to feel uncomfortable because of it. May look into a new primary care because of this. No one likes going to the doctor to begin with, but when you hear the receptionist gossiping with others about you it's a turn off.

Speaking about you, the one with glasses and dark hair. Hope you learn some patience and find God in your life because Dr. Annie deserves a better representation for her business in the front. She's an amazing doctor.

This place is horrible, no one cares about you including the doctor. It was my first time ever getting a Pap smear done and I came here. Dr Annie did the procedure and when everything was finished she told me they would call me in a few days for my results. A month had passed and I never got a call. Over the phone they claimed they have no record of my visit nor did they have a specimen. I visited the office in person to pick up a referral and I questioned the receptionist about that Pap smear visit and what information they have on it. The receptionist tells me that they actually do have the date I went in to do the Pap smear. I then ask why was I told there was no information on it? And if they can resolve this issue and the information had been “lost” and all she said was I’m not sure what we can do about it, and just to shut me up they always say “I’ll look into it and have the so doctor call you” it’s been months and they don’t call me. I feel violated and I don’t recommend anyone to come here.

This place is small and parking is crowded, but the staff is great. Making an appointment was very simple, they were able to see me the same week. I was seen by Nicole, who was the best PA I've seen in Vegas. She actually looks at you! I was surprised since my experience with doctors are always very quick. It is usually rushed and you really have to come prepared with your questions while you have them in that room. This was not the case AT ALL. She listened to my concerns and gave me feedback. Sometimes it hard to remember what that's like after years of having low expectations for docs here in Vegas. I have been searching for two years for a medical professional to successfully help me with my gout, after my doctor split town in 2018. I only saw him twice before he left. I was basically brushed aside when I tried to tell a few other physicians about my situation. Dr. Annie was VERY compassionate, concerned and thorough with her assessment. She actually LISTENED to me as I explained my plight, and wrote me the prescriptions that I so desperately have been searching for since 2018 (I'm uninsured). The price is right, the office is super clean, and the appointment was on time. I am so thankful to her and her FANTASTIC office staff for being so very professional and caring. I went to the office on Eastern first. At that location I was asked to pay $50 dollars although my co pay is $35. " First time patient fee" there is nothing posted regarding this. The staff was not very friendly and when they gave me paperwork it had the wrong birthdate on everything. I had to go back to all the paperwork for labs and etc corrected. The Dr was nice once I was seen and listened to my health concerns and I feel she requested the right follow ups to get a better idea of my overall health..... Now for a follow up I get a call and the person Asked for the wrong person and it was not until I asked where she was calling from that I made the connection. She said my results were in. So I made a same day appointment at the Charleston location.My appt was at 2:15. I arrived 15 minutes early and did not see the Dr until 3:10 and I was asked to pay $35 although the results are for preventative care which does not cost per my insurance. Come to find out all is fine with my results and I feel I could just picked up my results instead of just collecting more money from me and per the Dr I should have been given the option.Back to back not so pleasant 1st and 2nd visits.

I’m pretty new here but I started coming because they accept Medicaid and it’s close to my house. The wait times are not bad at all to be seen and I love the doctors and the nurses/cna. They make you feel comfortable and don’t waste your time. The outside of the building can be deceiving but the staff is great and I don’t feel like it’s not clean inside. Came to this place for help and they tried to rob me they told me that I have to pay 50$ when my insurance only requires me to pay 30$ and this was my second visit, as they claim all first time patients have to pay extra. Long story short after my insurance battled with the office for half an hour, they finally charged me the right amount, but when the doctor came to see me she sat in the corner with a strange look on her face the whole time as I explained my problem, then stood up and denied me services without giving me prescriptions or referrals for my broken leg then told the lady at the front counter to give me a full refund and left me sitting in the office. Very bad experience here! The First Lady that Check’s your pulse that came in was super nice though made me feel comfortable while waiting 2 hrs past my appointment window for nothing.

I found my favorite doctor! My family and I just moved from Hawaii to Nevada and it was a struggle trying to find a GREAT doctor - and I found it in Dr. Annie Mathew. First off, it was SO EASY to make my 1st appointment - they scheduled me that same day I called. The receptionist who answered is so polite. I’ve always felt anxious/uncomfortable going to the doctors but the nurses immediately eases your worries. I fell in love with Dr. Mathews on my 1st visit. She pays attention to you, she absolutely DO NOT rush you and she genuinely cares about her patients. After the labs and what nots she'll personally call you. The sitting area is comfortable and relaxing.

My husband comes to all my visits and he’s met the staff & doctor. After years of not seeing a doctor due to stubbornness (and stupidity lol) his 1st visit with doc was yesterday. Actually I even talked my oldest daughter and her husband to switch their PCP to Dr. Mathew - they all agree that she’s one of the best doctors they’ve EVER had.

Oh, the biggest deal was the referrals. Whomever takes care of the referrals does an absolutely amazing job! The wait period is so brief! You know, if every doctor was awesome like Dr. Mathews and her NP, a lot of people would be happier to go to the doctors lol.

I had a great experience here today, opened on a saturday called at 2p the lovely front office staff got me in at 3:30P same day. Saw NP Annie and she was pleaseant ,understanding and caring. Ordered the neccessary tests and I will be going back for any future issues.

Worst Dr. I've ever been to and I've been sick all my life. Friendly staff. Wretched Dr. Told me that she'd write my one time Rx for my adhd meds, which I've been on half my life, only if I took a urine analysis. Sent it to a 3rd party scam lab here in Vegas that charged $1400 FOR A UA which my insurance (for which the doctor is an in net-work provider) paid partial, leaving me to pay $400. Why would an in network doctor force an unnecessary UA (knowing it was a one time thing so I wouldn't put my career at risk) to send to a local lab that they know is out of network? I feel like a SUCKER. SCUM of the earth doctor.

I love this place and dr annie is so understanding and listen to your need and she also some timed answeres her own clinic phone what dr does that none that i know. I'm also an amputee and shes helping me get an in home power chair. I love this place and totally am sending people here. Thanks dr annie and staff.

I just moved to Vegas, and was getting shuffled around after an emergency room visit. 3 months later, Tired of the delays and poor service, I called absolute primary Care center, and was seeing the doctor in 2 hours! Amazing service, great staff all around. Thank you all!!

After having an awful experience with a different doctor. I came here to get a second opinion. Glad I did! They got me the treatment I needed. The office ladies are the best! They answer the phone right away. Any questions you have and book appointments in a timely manner. Before coming here I was waiting at least 3 months to see my primary care physician. Dr Anne is the sweets doctor she honestly cares. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm a patient here for life!

Totally love the doctor for years now. She is very efficient and very friendly. Since we are both Indian we hit it off real well. She makes you feel very comfortable, takes her time to examine responds very promptly unlike other doctors that are cold and impersonal. Totally, love her.
Weird thing is I went to her by accident and liked her so much that I made her my Primary Care Physician. Easy to get appointments. No long drawn answering service with dates out three months. Its now you are in need she is there for you. It is that simple. Best of luck. Rest is your call. Cheers!! Last but not least her staff of girls are amazing too, very friendly.
