I have a very severe one sided hearing problem and was using a pair of 2 year old Phonak hearing aids which just failed me. Dr. Fox and his staff very effective and efficient.and fitted me with a pair of Oticon Intent 1 devices within an hour and half.

I got the Iticon Intent 1 back in September 2025 and had been very happy with it. I just had a refresher visit with Dr. Fox last Friday. It has been a pleasure working with Dr. Fox who reprogrammed my hearing aids to better fit my needs I strongly recommend Advanced Audiology Institute and particularly Dr. Fox

Dr. Fox was patient and understanding. I had been looking for an audiologist, one that specializes in Cochlear devices, for some time. I’m so glad I found him!! I was discouraged when I came in and very hopeful when I left! He really understood my concerns and helped me to use my Cochlear the way it should be used.

I am 84 years old and have been hearing impaired for many many years. I have been to several Audiology places and this one is the best. Doctor Fox is an excellent doctor. I took my 84yr old mother here to get a hearing test. First of all, the place is not easy to find. It’s located inside a building, that isn’t marked at all (we went to the Fort Apache location),so I had to leave my 84yr old mother outside (in the heat, standing at her walker, weak after a 5 week hospital stay) while I ran around looking for a door that said Advanced Audiology Institute. Well, there isn’t one! So don’t look for one. The person conducting the audiology test was not very friendly at all. Considering patients in a lot of cases are elderly, hard of hearing and simply frail and just need a little extra care/guidance, you would think the audiologist would have a little more sympathy and empathy for the people he deals with. He had zero. My mother has always gone to Costco for hearing tests and hearing aids in the past. I wanted to bring her to a more hearing aid specific place, but after this experience you couldn’t pay me to purchase hearing aids from here. Dr. Fox’s whole demeanor was unfriendly. My mother felt the same way. I have no desire to buy anything from this establishment.

Doc was ok but Marnie who answers calls is rude, ignores, and doesn't want to work precisely.

This doctor had stopped taking my mom's insurance. We asked for my mom's previous hearing test to give to a new provider. Marnie said she can't give it to us and my mom needs a new test at a new provider.

I called a new provider and they said by law we have the right to my mom's records and test results. I called Marnie and asked for test results emailed to me. I said my email slowly & clearly explaining every letter and Marnie didn't even repeat back to confirm because she wanted to avoid working precisely and doesn't care for mistakes.

Marnie said I'll have it in a few minutes. I called back and left a few voicemails over the next hour and a half which as I expected, she ignored. I called from a different phone number and turns out she answered in a minute and then repeated the email and she added a digit that I did not say so she said my mom's record to a different wrong email.

This is unacceptable and people's records should be handled cautiously and I said that. She didn't say sorry or care, just tried to immediately hang up. That's the service you'll get if you have to deal with Marnie. I hope they record calls so they can see how she treats people. Only half nice when she wants to say she can't do something like sending results that she by law has to instead of taking 2 minutes to send a test result. Find a different place.

The doctor i saw is very nice and cordial and treats you real good making sure you are comfortable in the hearing test cubicle, specially insulated from outside voice interference. Overall the test went very nicely. He explained to me my hearing issues in a way i could understand and suggested i see ENT specialist and then make appointment to see him again. I liked Dr. Fox. He was nice and very thorough. My only complaint is that I purchased custom earplugs and they are crazy hard to get in and out. They don't have any tab to grab or a cord connecting them like some standard earplugs, plus they are small and easy to lose. I wouldn't purchase earplugs from them again. There are other companies out there that do custom earplugs.

The “doctor” didn’t introduce himeself until 5 minutes after we sat down. Just sat there in complete silence reading. Then after my hearing test and telling me I definitely had hearing loss (duh, I was wearing hearing aids) asks what I am looking for. I tell him I want to get an upgrade to the aids I have and use my Medicare contribution toward same (which, by the way, is exactly what I asked about when I made the appointment with this new audiologist And was assured that they took my insurance Carried the hearing aids that I wanted). This doctor proceeds to tell me that 1. they don’t have the upgrade that I’m looking for; and 2. they don’t really accept the Medicare contribution that it is just better to pay out of pocket and get the much more expensive one that they like to deal with. So he’s completely wasted my time and trying to bait and switch me into something much more expensive than I need. And on top of everything else, when I ask him what the prices would be, he says he couldn’t say for sure he’d have to have his office call me. Buyer beware. Do not go to this audiology provider.

I would leave 0 Stars if I could. I went there on 12/1/2023 had an exam and they were going to send all my hearing aid needs to my insurance company. I heard nothing so when I called in January I was told my insurance was pending. I called my insurance and then had to open an appeal with my insurance agency because they denied my claim due to the way their office billed it. I then called in February; March; April and SEVERAL TIMES in May to get status of my hearing aids. End of March my claim was approved and they paid the office for their billed services. Which included "being fitted and given my hearing aids" which was NOT TRUE. Today, after leaving messages for weeks again, I called and was told by Marni that the only person in the office who could help me is Heather and she is on vacation until next Tuesday. Has she been on vacation every time I leave messages? There is NOTHING GOOD about this office or it's staff. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!

In this day, where the medical field has been filled with automatons and business-first practitioners, Dr. Wyskiel is the epitome of what patients look for in a doctor: she is knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. I had a 4:00 pm appointment and was seen immediately. I am a new patient yet she didn't burden me with mountainous paper work. "Fill this and this, sign this" and I was seen at 4:01. I can tell that I am having some difficulties with my right ear and she assuaged all my fears. She took her time checking my hearing, gave me preventative measures, and answered all my questions. She didn't rush my appointment all. If you are looking for an audiologist that is thorough and emphatic and wont look at you as just another number, see Dr. Wyskiel.
