Every part of my visit, from scheduling and greeting, initial testing, examination, to my least favorite part: trying on dozens of frames, was easy and enjoyable.

The older I get, the more anxious I am about medical exams, forms and especially the "this line or this line, this line or this line" portion of the exam. Dr. Miller was very patient and understanding. Lupe was incredibly helpful with selecting frames to flatter my face shape. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I had an eye exam yesterday and it was a pleasant experience. the tecs and assistants are warm and caring. the Dr. was excellent. they have a new test and it is not covered by my insurance yet. They explained everything to me and asked if i wanted it done before they did it. some places would have done the test and then charged you. When i went to pay for the test, the person taking care of me told me that I did not owe anything because I had a credit from 2 years ago. and i still have a credit for my next appointment. the office is very nice, modern and clean. The front staff are nice and polite. I would recommend this practice to anyone

Had my routine eye check, it was a great visit like usually I do. Dr. Miller (Mark) is very patient and detailed. As a patient I didn’t feel that this doctor was in a rush to go to his next patient.

Employees are all nice, courteous and helpful buttttttttttt…….🫣(yep there’s a but’) it would have been nice if the young lady that was helping me would have cleaned the demo eyeglasses like I asked her to. This is the first time I’ve ever had a technician tell me, it’s okay if the eyeglasses aren’t clean from all the public’s finger prints. She said it not going to hurt anything. My thoughts were….’Lady I’m trying to see if these are a good fit for me and how can I do that if I can’t see past the finger prints on them’. I started to walk out and go somewhere else but again I like the business and especially the doctors. I think I’m going somewhere else next year. So because of that I’m giving the business 3 stars.

I have been seeing Dr. Mark Miller for over 20 years. He is the only optometrist I will ever go to even though I now live across town in Henderson. He takes his time to be so precise, I end up getting excellent prescriptions for my glasses (and my prescription is kind of tricky). He encourages me to come back (at no charge) if I don’t feel the correction. is perfect. All the staff is welcoming and helpful. There is absolutely no pressure to buy anything; only an offer of help, if you want/need it. The “glasses gallery“ is stunning, with frames ranging in all prices. I hope I continue to see Dr. Mark for another 20 years. It is, and I’m sure always will be, a very pleasant experience!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND ESPECIALLY HORRIBLE STAFF!!!

We took my son to see the eye doctor for the first time. My son is a toddler and he had his pupils dilated during the eye exam. The dilation solution caused him a lot of pain, which caused him to cry.

While he was crying, one of the eye technicians in the front of the store heard him cry. She then proceeded to look at everyone in the lobby and she started to make inappropriate faces mocking him, and she started to laugh.

This is behavior is highly inappropriate!!!

Anyone that thinks the pain of a young toddler or any child for that matter is comical, should not be in healthcare and needs to be fired immediately. She needs to find a new career that will condone her personality and her behavior.

THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR IS HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE AND NEEDLESS TO SAY, SHOULD NOT BE IN A HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENT!!!

Advanced Eyecare is one of the providers for my insurance. i’m not sure why I never used them before. I guess I was looking for a convenient locations, but I’m very glad that I found this one. It’s a beautiful office very roomie; equipped with the most modern machinery I believe. scheduling was effortless checking in with effortless. I was seen in a timely manner. I like the large selection of glasses that are available for me. I wound up getting new glasses with an upgraded prescription and also bought discounted sunglasses so I was very happy with the whole procedure.

At end of appt a friendly staff member escorts you and helps you select glasses, if you are not looking to purchase right away they happily give you your eye prescription. My wife and I have been using advanced eyecare for several years to take care of our vision. There was only a short time where I felt that they could not take care of our needs. That was simply because they were understaffed, and it took several weeks if not months to get an appointment.

However, getting an appointment is not a problem now. They have always been friendly and wonderful to work with.

The insurance my wife and I have for vision is different from most people. Our primary health insurance takes care of the eye exam, and our vision insurance takes care of the glasses. We looked for eye doctors all over the valley each time we told them about our insurance, we were told that we were mistaken and insurance does work that way. We tried to explain it to the various providers and they would begin to argue with us.

Advanced eyecare immediately went to work to get our insurance approved. They did not question us. They did not debate with us. They simply got us approved and we’ve been going there ever since.

Everyone advanced eyecare is wonderful to work with.

I give a 1. The facility was clean and great, the exam was thorough. The issue is I paid for my glasses on January 8, two weeks later I received a call stating that the lab had a problem and it would take a little bit longer. I received another call that the lab guaranteed I would receive them by February 7. I had to call them on the 9th and was told the lab strip the screws and they had to order a new frame. This is now February 17th, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY GLASSES YET AND NO PHONE CALL. 6/10/24 (Charging to 3 problem still happen. BUT THE STAFF IS GREAT #1, VERY HELPFUL)

The doctors are friendly and patient.
I always have a hard getting someone one the phone. They do not answer their phones. I had an issue with an order for glasses. I asked how much the insurance would cover and they went ahead without my consent and ordered the glasses. I just recently requested a copy of my son's prescription, and their email system is down. So, I would have to go in the office to pick it up. I do not live close to this area.

I have been going to Advanced for a while and they typically have good service, however today, not so much. I checked in for my appt today and a lady asked for my name like they normally do and as soon as she saw that I was seeing Dr. Pham, she said, she was running about 20 minutes late, mind you I have waited for the same doctor for 30 minutes 2 visits prior. Anyway, I asked the reception desk why she didn't bother to call me, her response was, "well, I just found" with a huge attitude. I found this disturbing and unprofessional. I am sorry, but I am the client here. If she would have a different approach, I would have gladly waited.

The office itself is great and I would give the office 5 stars. However I will not go back and see Dr. Pham. She was pretty condescending and did not listen to me. I explained to her how my chronically dry eyes had gone away and at the end of the appointment she asked me if I wanted a prescription for my dry eyes. She only asked that because she did not believe me that it was no longer an issue for me. She did everything but roll her eyes. Pretty arrogant. Every other Dr. here has been amazing. One of the ladies who was helping me pick out my glasses helped me tighten my current ones. The glass was popping out of the frames more and it was very tight but it wasn’t until I was home I realized how tight they were. Today, Christmas, the leg snapped off, broke, and will not go back in, because of how tight this woman made my glasses. My family and I have been coming here for several years. Wendy is an amazing doc and the only reason we kept coming back. Each year the front office would bill insurance improperly, mess up prescriptions, and sometimes just downright rude. The only front office staff that isn’t is the younger lady. If you go, make sure you know exactly what your insurance covers and insist they do it correctly. We did not return this year.

Shellee was so helpful to me and my husband getting our glasses , utilizing our insurance and staying within our budget; advising us on what options we would really need/benefit from. Dr. Brian Miller the best eye doctor in the entire world. Recently I got my eyes checked by a different doctor in Henderson, because Dr. Miller doesn't accept medicaid. The new doctor checked my eyes in 2 minutes. I was not satisfied with the new doctor or the prescription. Dr. Brian Miller always checked my eyes thoroughly. He always gave me good amount of time. Answered all my questions I use to have. I use to travel all the way to NW Las Vegas from Anthem Highlands. It is very hard to find the best eye doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Miller he is my kids and my favorite doctor.

As a new patient I am always hesitant to try out new doctors. This one blew away all my expectations. The office staff was attentive and courteous. The doctor was very thorough. Calling to order contacts after the initial visit was simple and easy. They have gained a long term patient after this visit. I can not recommend this location enough!

Facility is nice and easy to get to. The staff did not follow up and obtain prior authorization from the VA as promised and had to cancel appointment. Staff had obtain prior authorization the three appointments prior and then blamed the veteran for not getting the authorization for last follow up appointment. Not an organized / professional business. Recommend staying away. Veterans choose another facility.

Just tried to book an appointment and I was just told that new patients get priority over existing patients. A new patient appointment is 4 weeks out, an existing patient is 7 weeks. Great way to reward loyalty there. I think I will be looking for a new eye care facility.

Very incompetent eye doctor and staff. I left insulted and offended by the service I received here. You could do better with a pair of reading glasses from the 99 cents store vs. what the so called "eye doctor" will offer you here. Horrible experience. Poor quality. Waste of time. Off to real eye doctor to get some glasses finally.

Both my wife and I had appointments with Brian Miller. He did a thorough examination of our eyes, after dilating them. He patiently explained a problem with one of my wife's eyes, showing us images on a computer screen. We have gone to Doctor Miller for several years and have always been very satisfied with the service that he and his staff provides. The current location of his office is considerably better than his former location because it has greater space and a nice setup. There is plenty of parking space available, including handicapped parking and entrances. It is conveniently located on North Durango north of Tropical and south of Centennial.

Veterans and Military BEWARE! This Advanced Eyecare center is NOT transparent or forthcoming when billing/charging YOU out of pocket expenses. During the Covid-19, I needed a routine eye exam as some time has elapsed. I talked with a rep at the front desk and explained I wanted to schedule an appointment. She did ask if I had any changes in my vision, and since I'm 46, I was experiencing some average loss of near focusing and being she kept asking questions, I explained some issues in my left eye (that I've already been dealing with for some time approx. 11 months). She told me that she would split my appointments (only a few weeks apart) into two because the Doctor will not see me for an annual exam if there are changes. And I thought this was a Covid standard protocol thing. It didn't make sense, but you follow the rules since there is a 1st ever Global Pandemic. She never explained that the two visits would cost me out-of-pocket expenses since all they did in the 1st visit was dilating my eyes. I could have had a 'one-stop-shop' annual eye visit with dilation on that same day, just as I asked initially. They also knew I was active duty military and had Tricare Prime Insurance. I made this very clear because I wanted everything covered by my insurance. They know the rules of payment but were not transparent or forthcoming with this information, and in the end, they got paid twice by my insurance company for those two separate visits and a co-pay from my pocket. I may add, they had no problem telling me at the time of my visit that if I wanted the OptMap, it was an additional $35 not covered by insurance; once dismissed from my exam, I would have to pay immediately before walking out the door. Well, they got their money and I did pay everything in full because I have integrity. Shame on them for taking advantage of Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, and Human-Beings in general during a challenging time where they put PROFIT OVER PEOPLE!

I really like Advanced Eyecare and recommend them to anyone looking for optometrists in NW Las Vegas.

They are very easy to work with planning out new glasses and have a great selection of frames. The eye examination was thorough and the doctors were great explaining my eye health. I also find their hours easy to work around my schedule and I've had no issues coming in for an adjustment.

Love the team at Advanced Eyecare. Dr. Brian Miller has been my dr for over 10yrs and he is the best! Recently I have gotten to see Dr. Sabba and Dr. Wendy and they're also wonderful. Paig . One of the attending nurses, helped me learn about the lipiflow procedure for my blocked tear ducts that are causing my dry eyes. She was incredibly helpful, honest and forthcoming about her experience with this procedure. The office staff are also wonderful and help me decide how best to use my insurance with my contacts and glasses. Highly recommended!!

I had my first apt with Dr. Brian Miller and he was wonderful. I felt I had a very thorough examination which was done with care and thoughtfulness.
