Dr Kwong was performing a 4 month post op exam from my cataract surgery. I had a post polar congenital cataract. Dr Kwong noticed that I have some unique scarring, but my Turic lens was solidly anchored and spot-on placement. There is a natural healing that sometimes requires a laser removal of a film over the artificial lens and Dr Kwong has me returning in just a few months to monitor this possibility ensuring my vision. His keen observation and desire for best outcome is greatly appreciated.

Dr Kwong is excellent. Knowledgeable, kind,respectful. Shows he cares. Staff was good except I had a little hiccup with scheduling .I was scheduled to see a doctor that doesn't accept my insurance after giving her my insurance ID and her putting me hold for a while to check it. I came on time for my appointment only to be told the doctor can't see me because he doesn't take my insurance and I need to come day after to see the doctor that would take my insurance. I had to pay out of pocket 145$,because I was so scared that my eye will get worse. It was swollen and painful.

Dr Kwong is always upbeat. He is so efficient and covers absolutely everything regarding each of my eyes. He even saw that some of my eye lashes were growing in toward my eye. He pulled them out. The next time I saw him he observed they were growing back again and again removed them. He will check them again next time and decide if I need to have them surgically removed. No other doctor ever noticed that. I have very dry eyes. He put in tear duct plugs and recommended FreshKote Lubricant eye drops plus Refresh Optive. Plus this last time he recommended I purchase a eye compress moist heat mask to stimulate the tear oil glands in my eyelids plus SteriLid Antimicrobial eyelid cleaner. I am purchasing those today. I have had these same problems for years and no doctor has ever done anything about it other than to recommend one of the many lubricating eye drops which did not work. I appreciate Dr. Kwong so much. Thank you for saving my eyes.

Careful and thorough exam. Follow up revealed that what we thought was pink eye was actually shingles in my eye. Yikes! Very aggressively addressed this with multiple follow up to insure complete resolution. I am impressed and pleased with the level of care I received.
