I wish I could leave negative stars.

Unfortunately, for lack of a better term, this entire experience left me feeling completely misled.

I found this office through my Cigna app while looking for a specialist. When I called, I specifically asked the receptionist if they accepted my insurance and if I would be seeing the type of specialist I was looking for. I was told yes, so I booked the appointment.

When I arrived, I provided my insurance card and wasn’t told there was any issue with my coverage or that the provider was out of network.

Once I actually met with the doctor, she started asking me general primary-care questions. After only a couple of questions about things like smoking and medication, I realized she wasn’t the specialist I thought I had booked. We established that this wasn’t what I was there for, and the appointment ended. The entire visit was less than 15 minutes and the reason I originally scheduled the appointment was never addressed.

What really bothers me is that I wasn’t informed that she wasn’t the specialist I was looking for until after I figured it out myself during the appointment. I also wasn’t told that she was out of network when I handed the office my insurance card.

I probably should have questioned why I wasn’t being asked for my normal copay before seeing the doctor, but because the appointment basically ended after two questions and no actual treatment for what I came in for took place, I honestly didn’t think I would receive a significant bill.

Then I received a bill for $470.

Almost $500 for an appointment lasting less than 15 minutes that I believe was booked incorrectly and didn’t even address the reason I came in.

I’ve also tried calling the billing department multiple times to resolve this, but the person who handles billing for this doctor always seems to be unavailable, and I haven’t been able to get a call back. I’ve now sent an email so I at least have a written record of my attempts to dispute the charges.

The people I interacted with seemed very nice, which makes this situation even more disappointing. But after being told I was booking with a specialist who accepted my insurance, only to find out otherwise and then receive a $470 bill, I unfortunately would not trust this office with another appointment.

Please verify everything yourself before being seen here — the provider’s specialty, whether that specific provider is in your insurance network, and what you will actually be charged.

For a booking error and a less-than-15-minute interaction consisting of a couple of basic questions, almost $500 is absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend this office.

I got here at 8:30am so I would have time to do my paperwork, and the doors were locked. The doors say opens at 8am. I go back to my car and google the place and google says they open at 8:30. Well, it IS 8:30... Anyway, I scroll my phone in the car and start reading reviews since I'm there already looking for their hours. All the 5 star reviews are very generic, but the 1 star reviews--and there are a LOT of them--go into a lot of detail. They were honestly very upsetting. The place being locked up when they are advertised to be open is still a redflag, but wow, I may have dodged a bullet here. I still tried the doors again at 8:45 because another car parked at 8:40 and I thought maybe that would be someone who worked here, but doors still locked and as I left I saw the other person never got out of the car, so probably another patient. 2 patients for 9am for only one doctor? And if they actually open at 9, why didn't they have my appt be 9:15 so I'd have the time to do paperwork? Bad feelings all around. I felt so good about seeing this doctor yesterday... Oh well.

The office is supposed to open at 8:00am the staff doesn't get to the office until after 9:00am. Also the staff is very slow oneeting your health needs or you have to keep calling or go there in person to get what you need

All these + reviews. Must be paid off. 1st off, do yourself a favor and find a dr who's NOT in the P3 network. This is probably directed towards seniors who have Medicare. MY mom is Anthem Blue cross. The P3 group was beyond bad. If your having trouble getting referrals, having bad quality care, it's because your in this horrid network. Try the Astrana network. Call your provider and switch.
With that out of the way, this dr doesn't have a closed door policy. Your info will be blasted for all the hear. The staff argue w ea other and the dr viciously, they can't seem to get referrals sent. Lie and make excuses. Don't have your records when u show up, don't collect test results. That's on you some how. ... I pulled my whole family out of this Dr's care. Then they kept calling and harassing with "but why?"questions....

Dr. Seema Anjum, Internal Medicine, is my partner (Cristina B)’s primary care physician. Her operation is a small office with 3 to 4 good staff, that feels cozy, personal, and family-like vs. The large, chilly, impersonal medical offices. On occasion, she greets us at the door and escorts us to her office. Sonia, (doctor’s administrative assistant/right hand) is also very attentive and helpful. Beyond analyzing labs reports, Dr. Anjum explains diagnostics, asks if we have questions or concerns, listens, and doesn’t rush us. In short, it feels like we visited a “family doctor” - which we did. Lastly, and more importantly, she highly encourages Cristina to attend to her health needs and care.

Most disorganized staff . Waited 4 weeks for my grandmothers “correct” referral . Called at least a dozen times , kept getting excuses and wrong numbers. Disability form had the incorrect date , took 2 weeks to get that corrected by the front desk . I called multiple times to get them to correct their mistake, every time they were too busy to help me .
I asked the dr for referrals for equipment for my home , never got that . My grandmothers prescription to cvs, wasn’t filled out correctly , couldn’t get that either! Received another patient’s information via email by the front desk girl , Big HEPA VIOLATION ! And if there fax machine is down , forget out getting your medication on time .
I work in healthcare and these many mistakes is disgusting. Go somewhere else !

The check in was easy, friendly front desk, grateful to be seeing in a short notice, some wait is understandable due to the patients - some are long time patients we are talking about around 20 years coming to these office
So i felt privileged to be waiting for 1/2 hour but able to see a doctor highly appreciated by her patients
She did a Ausculta cardiac - and ausculta pulmonar ( listening to heart and lungs)
review all my medication , and had all my vital signs checked by her efficient and pleasant assistant - All my answers were answered and all my requests were satisfactory responded/ urine samples are scheduled to another date when the laboratory comes to make the collection at the doctor’s office
I am very satisfying with the all experience and even i have to drive acroos town i feel lile i had found the write doctor to take care of me and my family here in Las Vegas

Ever since I met this amazing Dr and saw how much she genuinely cares for her patients I decided I wanted her to be in charge of my medical care 🫶. She is very to the point and will make sure that your health is most important,
So here I was at my first appointment and I didn’t wait very long to be seen ! Sonia who was at the front desk at the time appeared to have been working both front and back office in a busy clinic… very pleasant personality despite being pulled in every direction and Dr anjum demanding things left and right for alll of us patients . Sonia was amazing ! The. There was the blood work which I am an expert at myself I always question when new people are about to take my blood . And this girl was absolutely the best she didn’t make excuses when she missed the first attempt and asked if I mind if she just pulls out and starts again she said she didn’t like digging around ! Of course as a phlebotomy instructor this was exactly what I’ve always taught my students to say in this situation it causes so much less trauma and less painful for sure ! She did everything 100% the way I would have done and my patients always thank me for being the best and not hurting them! So thank you Alaini for the amazing blood draw experience! I will always look forward to coming to you for any blood work and your amazing smile !!
And thanks again Sonia for being so attentive and professional and taking care of me in a crazy hectic office that day !! Looking forward to me next Dr visit which is something I’ve never said lol

Please take the time to read me. First of all, DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!! Just DON’T!!!
If you want to know your test results and find out right away why you need medical care, then go somewhere else to spend your time and money!! Or else you will have to wait months to get your MRI test results and just be in pain!
I'm so glad I came with my mom today to see this doctor. My mom had her MRI test done back in July for her back pain and after a couple of days, she wondered about her results, so she called this doctor's office to know if her MRI results were okay, hence the back pain that she's been complaining about for months! When she first called the doctor's office about her results, NO ONE paid attention to her to call back or call the imaging for any results. So my mom kept calling this doctor's office every week to find out what's her MRI results. 2months passed and she finally went to see the doctor in person to know what's her MRI results, and not surprisingly, the doctor or anyone in the office got my mom's results. I had to call the Steinberg imaging myself in the doctor's office to ask why or where is my mom's MRI test results that were done back in July! The imaging center said while on the speakerphone that they had faxed the results way back on the same day as when my mom did the MRI(back in July). So, my mom kept calling for months and months to ask what her MRI results were, just to get to the doctor's office and find out that they “don't know” or did not “receive” the results until I had to call the imaging center myself!! Thank God my mom's MRI results were good and nothing emergency, but can you imagine if it was something serious?! Or if you do you need immediate medical care?! The patient could have died, and still wonder what caused it or why NO ONE CARED TO DO THEIR JOB! Please DONT GO HERE. PLEASE DONT GO HERE!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. The doctor and the rest of her employees do not care or know what is happening with their patients!!! They even blamed my mom for not asking for the receptionist's name when she kept calling about her MRI test results. If I could just give zero or no star at all for this place, I would, but it won't let me post, so yeah, that's the one-star. PLEASE DON'T COME HERE!!! Go somewhere else safe!!!

I see 4 doctors for a lot of health issues. I must say doctor Anjem is by far my favorite , she's right to the point, I appreciate her expertise. When you see doctor Anjem you're seeing a real doctor ,not a doctor that wants to tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear and you should listen to her. Other people have apparently had exceptional experiences with Dr Anjum but I am not one of them. Though I have seen her multiple times, she never remembers who I am, why I'm there or even what tests she ordered for me and how to find the results on the computer. She conducts the appointment with the door open, so any staff and patients outside can hear. I will find another doctor because this one has consistently been a waste of time and extremely frustrating

I have been a patient of Dr Anjum since 2010-2023 she has been my primary doctor since. I came into Las Vegas 13year's go. there's nothing that I would take away from that she is hard but also caring. I appreciate the staff that she has working.( Sonia 💛 Kitonna ) excellent and very hardworking I don't know how they do it sometimes but they seem to manage through.

First I’ll start off by saying it’s taken a lot for me to come here and wright this review but I couldn’t help but to make my experience know from this place . I started off as an extern for Ms.Anjum and let me tell you this was the most traumatizing experience I’ve ever had . Starting here I was struggling with a medical condition that I was wasn’t aware of I was always sick so she wanted to doctor me and see what was going on . I was loosing a lot of weight throwing up , she made me eat my lunch in front of her to see what would happen etc & of course I couldn’t keep it down she told me I was anorexic & she wanted refer me to a Psychiatrist, even though I told her I felt like something was deeply wrong with me I would never choose not to eat I just couldn’t keep anything down .. she kept stating that everyday I came into the office she would practically pick on me making comments in front of everyone calling me anorexic etc . She has no professionalism and nothing is confidential. Not to mention she was EXTREMELY mean and rude to me throughout my who intern experience, she wanted to make me feel like she was helping me but at the same time she was laughing abt it . Come to find out after seeing GI doctors getting endoscopy etc I had Chronic Gastritis & severe Edema swelling in my stomach. I started believing her that it was my fault & I was doing it to myself etc which made me fall into a state of severe depression. Literally I don’t know how she has her license still with the way she treats people . If you want to actually find a good doctor don’t go to her she doesn’t care about you or your health she’ll slap a diagnosis code on you & run with it she didn’t even try honestly .

Good dr just schedules to many people at the same time. She’s in a hurry to get to next patient so you can’t really explain the reasons you’re there. Parking is horrible. Small parking lot with maybe 12 spaces to park. I had to sit in my car to wait on someone to leave before I could park which was 30 minutes.

I know that the healthcare in NV is absolutely horrible, we rank 39 out of 50 states, real sad with the money that comes through this state with gambling, legal marijuna and strip clubs, but this office is by far one of the worst I have ever been to. Dr. Anjum is rude, doesn't listen to your issues, cuts you off and never really has touched my father during a visit. The staff seem to be completely incompetent. Never was an authorization for refills done without myself and the phamarcy calling 5 plus times. Referrals were a joke. They listed skin disease for a referral to a podiatrist for my father to get his toenails cut and had the wrong insurance on the referral. I finally switched docs and I'm so pleased with his new provider. This office needs to be restructured and start over, it is an awful place for care.

I took my friend to this dr. While there one of the drs pulled up in a VERY expensive Bentley. Usually not problem except this was a Dr. without a handicap parking permit. He proceeded to park right in front on the door in the space reserved for handicapped. I spoke to the receptionist who said they would inform the Dr. As of 30 mins ago his car is still in the handicapped parking space. Even though just two spots away is an empty space reserved for Dr.s. I am angry cause if you notice that a person with a handicap parking permit had to park some distance away.

Dr. Seema sent me to Desert Springs ER for tests on 6/9/21.
I contacted the office for 1 month attempting to a copy of those results. They finally sent me records from 2019... and Seema wasn't even my doctor!
After 31 days of calling the office, I finally spoke with Seema who advised me it was not her responsibility to get my test results.
I finally picked up the results from Desert Springs on 3/11/21.
With the help of Google, I was able to interpret the blood and urine results.
it appears I have some issues with my kidneys.

Doctors staff is extremely friendly. They listen to you when I am complaining about my medical issues, Doctor Anjum stays right on it when it comes to testing you might need. And makes sure you have your medicine on time. I am glad I have her, to see me through my old age. It is a good felling. Because trying to stay busy with personal responsibility and running a business it is so important to stay in good health.

I had the great misfortune to have this "doctor" when I was a patient at Sunrise. Never had I been treated so badly as I was by her. I had a blood clot in my leg which was extremely painful. She ordered pain meds for every 8 hours which did not hold the pain. She came to my room 3 times and NEVER once looked at my leg. I asked her if she could change the pain meds to every 6 hours, not an increase in the amount, just the time. She didn't change the time, but ordered the IV taken out and put me on pills instead. Pills do NOT work as well as IV meds for the type of pain I had. She knew that. Plus her only concern was how did I pay for my meds? No questions about my leg and no exams at all. Plus she was just rude and mean. If you are assigned to her at the hospital, I highly recommend firing her and getting another Dr. IF you can. Otherwise, you will not get the proper care from this so called Doctor. I needed her help and she made me feel like the scum of the earth. FIND SOMEONE ELSE. PLEASE.

Dr Seema was extremely rude and unprofessional I am honestly disturbed with the way her business is still running when I asked her if she could stearlize the equipment she was trying to use on me she refused and told me I was being ridiculous I don't believe sanitation to be ridiculous my appointment was cancelled at least 7 times due to the Dr constantly having a family emergency honestly her whole family must be deathly I'll with the way she is never in her office i finally seen her after 5 and a half months I would recommend the late Dr desai before I would recommend this lady please seek other help I guarantee you will appreciate me for it

Dr. Anjum, as well as her staff are efficient, knowledgeable and caring. No crazy appointment scheduling at Dr. Anjum's office! I have gone to this Dr 3 times each time was less pleasant than the previous time. The last time this Dr prevented me from having a much needed procedure because, I didn't come to her to get a referral. She is rude and often times over books patients. The last time I went I say in her office for 2 hours. She was so over booked there were people sitting on chairs and couches right outside my treatment room. She tried to send me for tests that she had already sent me for lady week. I called her office to find out about the consent she needed to sign for my procedure they were rude and none compassionate. I ended the phone call in tears. I already didn't like or trust Dr's this last reminds me why. please don't waste your time, money, or energy going to see this Dr. I wish I could give her less than 1 star.
