I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Bratton and his entire team at UMC. After three shoulder surgeries, I can honestly say they gave me my quality of life back. From the very first appointment through every surgery and follow-up visit, I was treated with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care.

Dr. Bratton is an exceptional surgeon who truly takes pride in his work. He took the time to answer my questions, made me feel comfortable every step of the way, and his skill and expertise are beyond words. Today, I feel amazing, and I am incredibly grateful for everything he has done for me.

His team is just as outstanding. Everyone was kind, supportive, and always willing to help, making a stressful experience so much easier. I always felt like I was in the best hands.

Terrible Doctor!

First of all he's always at least an hour late for all appointments last week he was two and half hours late and today he's over am hour and half late unprofessional to say the least. He was late on my surgery day by 40 mind the surgery center was irrataed at him and he blew it off like no if deal these type of ignorant doctors should be sanctioned. He did my meniscus repair and my knee is worse than it was he's not a qualified doctor to do much. I do not recommend him whatsoever! Between his arrogant attitude and his lack of professionalism by not respecting people's valuable time he's not a good option.

This doctor spent extra time listening to me and ordered the necessary MRI to diagnose my problem. A doctor I went to before him just dismissed me as being too young to have any issues worth looking into further, which caused me great anxiety. After the correct diagnosis, the solution was much simpler than expected.
Thank you so much Dr. Bratton! Keep fighting the good fight!
If he is ever late, it's probably because he gives his patients extra time and care that other, turn and burn doctors won't! He is well worth the wait if there is any, trying to rush your medical staff is a terrible idea!

Definitely the bad reviews do not allude to my experience at all!! It was a clear process, he clarified all kinds of doubts and is willing to listen to all the questions you have, he helped me complete the whole process and not only him, but the whole team that was around him in my case!!

The doctor and his lackey both decided I meat have an old break on my collar bone since nothing is broken right now. It's not an old break, as I have never broken my collar bone in my life. And if it is healed is because they got a referral from my PCP and sat on it from Thursday to the next Tuesday, until I called...again... to see if they had it. My insurance does not require referrals. So he's checking my movement in my shoulders and tells me to raise my arms. I tell him it hurts past a certain point on the right so he takes that arm and cranks it straight up. Then he tells me to move my arms out to the side. I told him I can't do the right one since he just killed it.
OMGoodness... no bedside manner, no concern... just, "Nope, no current breaks. Do some PT and come back in three months".

I came to dr.bratton in April due to a meniscus tear in my left knee. From start to finish he made the situation very easy going and this injury a breeze. Very informative, very friendly, very professional. I do not know how this guy gets bad reviews. Probably just unhappy picky people with who simply are just scared of surgery. His whole team is beyond professional and makes you feel right at home. Id definitely recommend dr.bratton. he made this so simple and quick and now I'm on my road to recovery so I can get back to jiu-jitsu and snowboarding and just living my life!
Don't Pass dr.bratton up he definitely knows what he's doing! Even his scheduler Laura is very professional easy and gets you in asap. All the nurses that get you ready at umc surgery center 1800 charlston are amazing as well! Alma and her team are so fun and made me not even worry about surgery that morning. Thank you dr.bratton and everyone on his team!!
