During my third or fourth visit, Dr. Ricciardi attempted to put me on the same treatment plan without reviewing my records to confirm that I had returned for the same ongoing issue. The plan included expensive orthotics that ultimately provided no relief. When I followed up, I was told the next step would be a foot fusion surgery. When I asked about recovery time and post-surgery activity level, I was told that, given I have "60-year-old feet," I would no longer be able to run or maintain an active lifestyle. I decided not to move forward with that approach and sought a second opinion. The second opinion led to a different surgical option—a heel slide procedure to create an arch and avoid fusion altogether. Anytime I see his name now I RUN!!!! ( No Pun intended)

My wife had surgery with Dr. Ricciardi last year, and the experience was great. He treated her well, communicated clearly, and everything went smoothly. That’s the only reason we trusted his office for her second foot surgery.

But this time, the office staff showed a level of incompetence and disrespect that I honestly still can’t believe we experienced — especially the day before a major surgery that requires four months of recovery.

We had already rearranged our entire lives around the December 5th surgery date: PTO, work coverage, household responsibilities, everything. Then, 20 hours before surgery, we received a text from Francis saying there had been “miscommunication” and suddenly prior authorization was needed. This surgery had been booked for a month — why wasn’t this done earlier?

My wife called insurance, and they confirmed her coverage was good. Meanwhile, the office claimed they “couldn’t reach anyone,” even though insurance showed they had spoken with them — including that same day. Then we received a screenshot of the authorization… with the wrong last name, the wrong insurance, and information from 2024 that didn’t even belong to my wife. They weren’t even submitting the correct patient info.

At that point we went to the office in person, around 2:40 pm, to try and salvage the situation. That’s when we encountered the front desk employee, Alyssa, who was incredibly rude and dismissive before we even said a word. She was talking down to the patient on the phone before us, and her attitude didn’t change when she spoke with us.

She cut me off repeatedly, told me to “calm down” when I was completely calm, acted like our situation was an inconvenience to her, and then told us the surgery had actually been canceled that morning. This made no sense because Francis had told my wife 20 minutes earlier that it was still pending.

When I confronted her about her behavior and said I wanted to speak to the doctor, she stopped making the appointment, smirked, laughed, and said:

“Happy holidays. Have a nice day.”

It was honestly one of the most disrespectful interactions I’ve ever had with anyone in a medical office. We weren’t yelling. We weren’t being aggressive. We were simply trying to understand why, after a month of preparation, our lives were being thrown upside down the day before surgery because someone in the office didn’t do their job.

And what happened next?
Nothing.
No call from the doctor.
No follow-up from the office.
No attempt to reschedule.
Not even a basic apology.

We were left completely stranded after rearranging our lives for this surgery — all because of preventable mistakes and staff who treated us like we didn’t matter at all.

I still believe Dr. Ricciardi is a skilled surgeon, but when the people representing his practice behave with this level of incompetence, dishonesty, and disrespect, it makes me seriously question the overall professionalism and oversight of the office.

No family should have to go through what we went through.

My teenage daughter had a permanent ingrown toenail removal procedure done on both feet. One of them didn’t take. She developed an infection and after it cleared up she had a lot of pain. I called for a follow up and was told the doctor that did her procedure no long sees minors. I fought with them and they still said there was nothing they could do for her. It has taken me a long time to get her to another doctor thanks to insurance. Meanwhile she has been in constant pain and has had bleeding when she takes her socks off. I’m so happy she won’t be going back to this office.

I had a bad ingrown toenail caused by a pedicurists cutting my toenails too short, and leaving a sharp piece of toenail under the skin on my toe. DR. Anthony M. Ricciardi came in took a quick look, and set in to motion the end of my pain. DR. Ricciardi and his team jumped into action, and in about 30 minutes, no more pain, it's been a few months now and my toenail is back to normal. The bottom line is if you have a foot or ankle problem go see DR. Ricciardi and his team, they will make you feel better.

I have simple but high expectations when comes to medical services. I want a doctor, and an office as a whole, that is efficient, easy to deal with, and solves my problems. Foot and Ankle Specialists meets my expectations.

It was easy to get the appointment scheduled at my convenience. I did my part and showed up early to make sure all my paperwork and insurance info was taken care of and by the time I was through with that, I maybe waited five minutes in the lobby. I waited less than 10 minutes in the exam room for the doctor.

The doctor talked to me, asked what was going on, and explained what treatment would be. I was in and out in under a half hour. The follow-up was just as easy, but substantially faster.

Most importantly, I haven't had to deal with any billing/insurance problems after the fact that most offices in Vegas seem to have. Of all my medical providers in the valley, this is the easiest and most efficient to deal with.

The first doctor I went to could not find anything wrong with my foot.. so I got another opinion.
Dr. Ricciardi found that I had a Morton's Neuroma in my foot which was causing all of the pain.
He took care of the problem and now I can walk around again with NO foot pain!

He’s the best very caring and I had a ankle that should of had surgery I had a slight torn achilles but he said it would be a bad idea to have surgery because I had a bone spur and if he did it I would never walk the same so he suggested something better he took 7 or eight tubes of my own blood and injected into my angle and it’s been about 8 Years and I’m great no pain and ankle has been fine if I ever fell pain again he said I could do the procedure again thank God and him no problems so happy 😀 will always go back to him he has taken care of my ingrown nails and my feet for years now and his staff are the nicest and caring as well !! I had a broken foot a couple of years ago, he had to do surgery and my foot is perfect .
My granddaughter went to him with horrible wart problem and dr Ricciardi was able to treat her foot and warts were totally gone !
We had gone to a couple of doctors and they had no clue how to heal her foot .
I went to see him last week and was able again to get to the root of the problem and my foot is almost healed . He’s an amazing doctor and knows the best way to treat anything !!! You will love him ! He cares !
