My cast was taken off today. The doctor should have stayed to check my hand and arm. He didn’t. I had to ask, firmly request to have his P.A. check my arm and hand. No therapy ordered either. I found it very careless. Why is he still operating when he cannot stop shaking? One of the assistants in the office told me he has early signs of Parkinson’s?? Why in the world would the medical board still allow this? I hope to God my arm and hand heal properly and everything is okay.

I just left an appointment with Dr. Taylor And I am completely depressed, and I feel kind of helpless. The staff was kind, but the doctor was almost nonexistent. I have been suffering for two years with excruciating numbness tingling in my hands, intermittently, classic symptoms of carpal tunnel, my hands fall asleep constantly. I really don’t even know how to describe the so-called exam because there was none. He poked at my wrist, asked me which fingers fell asleep first, I said I’m sorry I don’t understand your question, it’s just simply that my hands will just numb up and tingle out of nowhere sometimes and especially at night. I don’t know which one tingles first. He didn’t like that answer and said that he wanted me to start to keep a log. OK, that makes perfect sense, But what can I do now? I’m in severe discomfort right now. He said he had to send me for a nerve study, again, perfectly understandable, and I certainly will do that. But honestly, he in no way presented as a caring Physician. He was rushed, a bit snarky, and did most of his talking to me from the doorway. Unfortunately, I have an HMO and this is where they sent me, if I had a choice, I would most definitely not come back. I’m going to call my insurance and express my misgivings and see if that gets me anywhere. If you have a PPO and are able to choose your own physician, please, please reconsider choosing Dr. Taylor. Maybe you’ll get lucky and he’ll meet up to the Glowing reviews that I see here, but for me, it was a complete waste of time and very depressing.

Fantastic! The dr was so kind and patient with my 11 year old. The ortho techs were AMAZING! Claudia let my daughter squeeze her hand as hard as she wanted while she got a lido injection. I visited Dr Taylor for a cyst on my lower left wrist, along with pain in my left hand and fingers. X-rays were taken and showed arthritis and I received an injection that relieve the pain for only a few days. I was also seeing a Pain Management Doctor Who ordered EMG test, which showed severe degree of carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr Taylor dismissed the results without even examining my hand. As an 83 year-old patient I left the appointment felling dismissed and uncared for. When I followed up with my Pain Management doctor, he recommended that I see a hand specialist unfortunately my referral was to Dr. Arthur Taylor. I hope my feedback encourage more attentive and compassion for seniors.

I went to see doctor Taylor for a second opinion. He said explain to him whats going on and where the pain is. I told him a few things he stopped me didn't let me finish explaining, he looked at the testing I've done. And goes there's nothing I can do for you as a hand surgeon and surgery isn't needed. He said everything seems to be normal for the testing that they've done and your symptoms are all over the place I don't know what to tell you. Good luck on whatever happens next.
I told him what pain management told me and he goes I do not agree with anything that he's told you. But im not telling you to dismiss it or not do whatever they're having you do. He did not care at all what I had to say or care about what I was explaining. He had me do a few things of making a fist and moving my fingers and that was it. As if he was in a hurry and just wanted me out of the room. Doesn't seem like he even cares about his patients. I will never go there again.

Got referred by ER physician after a bad fall and possible broken thumb. All the staff were extremely sympathetic, professional and I got reassurance that it would be helped with some cortisone. I saw Dr Taylor because I was in a lot of pain as I contracted Carpel tunnel & have a bad trigger finger thanks to my company. Unfortunately my company’s workers comp doctor really screwed me over. I went to Dr Taylor hoping he’d help me as all my company did was leave me in a lot of pain & with no compensation so I could heal. He initially wanted to help me but when he found out I needed him to help me with my claim he told me “you came to the wrong guy” I was super frustrated as he did not even give me an explanation why he wouldn’t help me, but I assume it was because he didn’t want to touch my claim. His staff was rude & equally unhelpful, one even made a condescending remark to me as I left. He just came off cold & uncaring so I hope others don’t make the mistake & see him if you’re in a similar situation as me.

When I wrote this review it was before I knew better and before I let him do surgery.

I need to update my review, I received surgery on my left hand and was planning to get surgery on my right. My left never healed properly. After my follow ups after surgery I never went back to this Dr.
On surgery day I should have went with my gut instinct and ran out the door. He was shaking so bad and I never noticed in my previous visits. He hides it well by having others do everything on your office visits.

Now other Dr’s have seen my new MRIs and the reason I am still in pain is because the surgery wasn’t completed correctly and I still have carpal tunnel. He was supposed to fix my thump from triggering and now my bone sticks out and I can’t even bend my thumb. My pain now is 10 times worse than before surgery and so is the inflammation.
I’m so upset I trusted this Dr. I am now in severe pain 24/7 and can not do much with that hand.
Be careful who you trust with your medical care.

The office staff, And medical staff are all professional and pleasant. Very little wait time, I was called within 20 minutes (even though I failed to arrive the 45 minutes ahead). Dr Taylor came in soon after. He listened to what I had to share, and explained what was going on and what my options were. First of all I wanna say that this place is awesome starting from the parking lot to it’s amazing staff and the services they provide Dr. Arthur did an amazing job for my broken metacarpal and carpometacarpal joint did a surgery to put metal pins went smoothly and he was very informative on what I should do next gave me advices for home remedies to feel comfortable and painless from the metal pins, I take off my metal pins in two days and the staffs made the appointment for me instead of me scheduling the appointments I hope with the brilliant Dr. Arthur fixing my hand it heals perfectly I’m sure it will, I would recommend Dr. Arthur for any broken bones that needs treatment and the amazing staff that provides excellent service.

My in law was seen by Dr. Arthur Taylor and was no content with the visit. She did not feel heard. She went in for a visit regarding severe hand pain and he didn’t even check her hand. The visit last no more that 5 mins and he didn’t even bother to check site of pain. Due to heavy work load she requested FMLA to be able to provide to her job for the severe pain she is experiencing and has been experiencing for a while now and he instantly declined without even bothering to access her. Her visit with him was a terrible experience and she was not helped and wasn’t provided with any aleve for her pain nor with any reasoning as to why she has pain. Will not be seeing him again. Will be requesting another Dr in the future.

I recently was operated on by Dr. Taylor to correct a carpel tunnel issue I’ve been experiencing. He and is staff did an amazing job. I can’t say enough about their operating procedure, appointment scheduling and bedside manners. I was nervous going into the surgery, but I have nothing but praise now. Initially might of been a bit of a hassle, got through the not so fun part, took all the necessary test to finally come to a treatment. I chose surgery for both of my hands, at this point I was so exhausted with Karpal Tunnel and it's symptoms. I am very grateful with Dr. Taylor and his staff they were very prompt and professional. I have always been impressed with Dr Taylor. However, the registration depth (2nd step of getting checked in) was a disappointment. For 20 they stood around gabbing and didn't help any of us. I have to agree with the other reviewers who gave Dr. Taylor poor marks. He may or may not be a good doctor, I only saw him once. But dealing with his office and his staff was a major pain in the rear. I scheduled an appointment to have something done to my hand. After waiting 45 minutes to see him (maybe we should be able to backcharge doctors for OUR time) he finally saw me for about 8 minutes and told me he needed me to schedule an appointment for another time for the procedure. He then told me someone would be in momentarily to schedule the procedure with me. I waited another 20 minutes before a lady walked and and said, "give me your phone number, I'll call you tomorrow with some options". After waiting a week for a phone call, I finally decided to call his office back. I waited on hold for 45 minutes to speak to a 'scheduler'. Once I got one, they transferred me to someone else whose voicemail I got. After leaving a message I finally got a phone call back and was told the reason I didn't get a phone call back was because Dr. Taylor didn't have time until next year. (Today is Nov 23). Maybe he's just so busy he doesn't need our business. Then again, maybe we should warn other about his office so that they start to understand that as patients, we have options. I'm already scheduling an appointment with someone else.

Dr. Taylor got me into his office on very short notice after a fall left unable to use my dominant hand. He was able to order Xrays in house to ensure there were no fractures, so I didn't have to run in between multiple offices. He was detailed, personable, and reassuring in what he believed to be the issue with my hand and what the recovery process would entail. I have been a patient for 10 plus years, after experiencing a trigger finger problem. Well now I have had 4 trigger finger releases, two on each hand, and have been extremely happy with all procedures. The office has many doctors, so calling for a first time appointment sometimes takes patience. But thereafter, each appointment is set before you leave, as well as giving two private numbers for his assistants, which you can leave a voicemail and they promptly return with answers.

Yes, 5 stars! ~ One week prior to my scheduled hand surgery, I had an appointment with Dr. Taylor for a quick follow up and to sign medical release forms. He asked to see my hand. After a brief examination, he said, "You know, I'm going to cancel your surgery. Let's monitor it over the next couple months. If the mass increases, you feel any pain, or anything changes, let me know as soon as possible." {{I’m sorry, what?!}} He didn't think surgery was necessary at this time. The mass had reduced considerably, the biopsy had already proved it was benign, and putting me under anesthesia unnecessarily wouldn't be in my best interest.

I've worked in the medical field and every doctor I'd known would have taken the "Well, we've already scheduled it, it's virtually a no-risk procedure, and it's not going to hurt you.” approach. They wouldn’t have passed up an easy "sale". Dr. Taylor was looking at it from the perspective of what was best for ME. Low-risk or not, performing an unnecessary surgery was not ethically prudent. This spoke volumes to me about his integrity as a physician. "Do no harm" is part of their medical code, but he took it a step farther. "Do no harm, and don't take your patient's money just because there's no harm". This is what we should expect from every doctor. The framed degrees on the wall are proof they are qualified, but tell you nothing of their integrity as a doctor. I applaud Dr. Taylor for making the best choice for me, his patient. Highly recommend!

Saw dr taylor 2/3. Surgery wasn't scheduled until 4/14. My ride could not attend that day. Surgery put off until 5/19. They try to tell me that Dr Taylor cannot be on call during my surgery. I guess he's the only surgeon who is on call 28 days a month. I've been back to the e/r since and got nothing from this Dr. Very disappointed and in pain.

After weeks of misery I finally made the appointment with Dr. Taylor to try to get relief from the tendonitis, swelling and pain in my thumb. I was amazed when told that the problem was going to be treated the same day. 'Doctor' Arthur Taylor's staff is great and very friendly, however Mr. Taylor is an insensitive, I'll gotten doctor with little true regard for a patience well being. When it suits him or its a patient he can't avoid he displays a warm front, but after you'll be met with haste and disregard for health. Creating tall tales or attempting to use medical jargon, he'll try to shoo you out the door withour listening to your genuine complaints.

My wife had a simple fracture of the wrist. On first visit, Dr. Taylor entered the room, introduced himself, looked at the emergency room xrays that we brought, said this was a simple break and would heal in a few weeks after getting a cast on, then left the room without ONCE looking at my wife's wrist, let alone giving it a close inspection. The cast guy came in, WITH ATTITUDE, and put on the cast which hurt her so much she couldn't sleep. She went back a week later and Dr. Taylor had the cast removed, then the SAME GUY came in to put on a second cast. That cast hurt worse, but the office nurses told her it was supposed to hurt. Bottom line was the cast literally destroyed her wrist. She then went to a local hand surgeon and after 3 surgeries, she is now disabled, unable to work, and on Social Security disability. Four office visits and Taylor NEVER looked at her wrist. We called every law firm in Las Vegas, not one would take this case. In fact, Dr. Taylor is an EXPERT WITNESS for most of them. But Nevada protects its doctors, no matter how bad they are.

Dr. Taylor was the best thumb surgeon. The first time I saw Dr.Taylor, it was 12days after I had already fallen off the e-bike and broke my thumb. This guy is a complete joke and resulted in a a tendon removal. I saw this Dr he asked if I could bend my thumb. I showed him and he said I was fine. Word for word "YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME, ENERGY, AND WORRY. THIS IS NOT A BAD INJURY, IF YOU WANT TO SEE BAD THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE SUNDAY NIGHT" this was the following Thursday after that wack job shot up the music festival.
What kind of care provider could have the nerve to say something like that?
Was not happy so schedule another appointment with another Dr through workmans comp. About 2 weeks later Dr. Yu recommended surgery immediately in fear it was already too late as it turned out to be. My thumb will never be the same because of Dr. Taylor.
Dr. Yu was amazing and showed what the other guy refused to do. He wouldn't even let me speak. He made me look like I was trying to milk workmans comp to my boss and made myself think I was. Thankfully Dr. Yu did his job or I would still have a severed tendon bunched up in my wrist.
Why Dr. Taylor is still employed is beyond me. Had I seen all these negative reviews I would had requested a new Dr. So take my everyone's advice and do what all of us wished we had done.

And for what it's worth I feel 1 star is more credit than he deserves.

I would have given him a higher score because the doctor himself is very kind but the nurse came in and literally announced my weight and that I'm fat my door was open which means every other patient heard it which is breaking HIPAA laws and I'm very very disappointed you don't know what struggles people go through and how people feel about their weight and it never should have been announced so loudly where everybody could hear it's disgraceful the doctor has always been very kind but I can't give him a higher rating based on his nurse.

I arrived 13 minutes before my appointment, and at check-in she informed me that they already canceled my appointment because I was “late” I was supposed to be 30 minutes early. I was still before my appointment time yet they already canceled the appointment.
They did agree to see me after a little persuading, but was very disappointed when the doctor came in, barely did any questioning and barely did any exam, or gave me time to really express my concerns. He was not in the room more than four minutes.

I waited a half hour once the doctor came in the room, he was asking me questions I was explaining regarding my hand he said “ You talk too much” and I have other things I need to do”. He should be removed and I should have a refund. I paid $200. I told him and he needed to go over my report. My primary doctor told me what was wrong with my hand and he could not. My tendency and my pulley in my fingers are injured . he’s pathetic he’s rude. He’s not professional. I want a refund of my $200.
