Dr. Bhatia is a professional and trustworthy Pulmonary physician who has been in practice nearly 11 years. My family has used her services for six years! She moved her practice location to Henderson, and now has a facility which gives her the capability of performing CT scans and x-rays right at her location. Although she moved from a prior location and is further from our home, due to her expertise and our very positive relationship with her, we will continue to make the extra drive to keep her services! She also has her pulmonary rehab rehabilitation center in the same location, so her patients won’t have to go to a hospital setting to have the service. The building is clean and neat and there’s plenty of free parking. There is easy access to the building that makes it easy to get inside. This is especially great for those who are porting oxygen or getting short of breath easily. Dr.Bhatia looked for a location and building where she could help her patients be as comfortable as possible with their functional needs in mind. Thank you, Dr. Bhatia, for your kindness, compassion, professionalism, and expertise. Also a positive shout out to her assistant Robert, and her friendly and efficient office staff!

I had such a positive experience with Robert, that I felt compelled to leave a review. From the moment I arrive each time Robert was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and made sure I felt comfortable and understood throughout the entire visit.

Dr Bhatia is THE Best! She is one of the only doctors who was actually thoughtfully looked through my scans and information and had an honest one-on-one talk with me about my health. She went above and beyond and even called the radiologist to verify findings. I am very grateful I found her and suggest anyone else needing a pulmonologist to see her instead of the "big group" down the road that simply wants to push experimental drugs for no reason, and were unwilling to look deeper at scans that con tradicted other scans. I have a terminal illness and as such, require a medical team of doctors for the rest of my life. I fired 2 other Pulmonologists before reaching this office for a lack of bedside manner. Let me just say, when I first entered Bhatia Pulmonary Center I was greeted by Robert, the most amazing Medical assistant I have ever met.(Believe me, I have met HUNDREDS...) Not only is Robert friendly and welcoming, but he is genuine and caring as well. He didn't just make me feel welcome, I have been coming for a couple years now and he makes me feel like family and as if he is genuinely happy to see me. When I have an appointment coming up, I find myself eager to see him and update him on my disease progress. He does his job, but he always makes you feel as if it is a visit with an old, dear friend, not just a doctor's visit.
Dr. Bhatia is a wonderful person and a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor as well. I remember being very emotional and skeptical about my disease when I met her and crying in our appointment in despair. She was very empathetic and has been here for me as I navigated my way into a better, healthier postion with my illness. Las Vegas does NOT have a strong Pulmonary health team of doctors, and a quality, knowledgeable and compassionate office is sooooo hard to come by. These guys are doing it right, whatever it is...Can not recommend them highly enough.

I have had horrible asthma my entire life, but two years ago I went to Dr. Bhatia and her team to help find a solution. I live a very active life with my children and I am surrounded by germs being a full time teacher. Getting sick put me in the hospital many times throughout life. Dr. Bhatia and her medical assistant Robert Saldana went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and got me the holy grail medication that has improved my quality of life.
A week ago my insurance was giving me a hard time approving my yearly prescription for Tezspire and Robert made it happen. He not only got it approved, but also made me an appointment the next morning to administer the shot first thing. I couldn't be more thankful for his persistence. Dr Bhatia and Robert are a great team and although their office moved to a further location, I would travel across town for their exceptional service any day!

I have gone to numerous for the last 30 years for my worsening severe asthma(some of them supposedly the best in Las Vegas). None of them can hold a candle to the care and expertise I have experienced with Dr. Bhatia. She is the only one who to the time and caring to find out why I’m having exacerbations for several months in the year. Wow!! What a wonderful team, from the guy at check-in and Robert was amazing. Dr Bhatia was very diligent in listening to my concerns and pertinent medical history, and I can confidently say she had my best interests in mind. Her assistant Robert is an absolute G and was extremely helpful in coaching me through the PFTs and using the SVNs. Marcus in the front office was quick in returning any phone calls, setting up appointments, and answering any questions. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr B as I call her. She has helped me through my lung issues due to pneumonia the past 3 years. Because of Dr B, I was accepted to National Jewish Health where I was diagnosed with an auto immune related lung disease. I went to see her to address a problem I was having with snoring, insomnia and obstructive Sleep Apnea
She is such an advanced Pulmonologist that her professional savvy in the field made my diagnoses and treatment like Pulmonology 101 for her
Her excessive knowledge in the Pulmonary Field also has her educating on Pulmonary Disease and sleep disorders. I am fortunate to not have lung problems but after researching I found it is another area in which she shines

This was my first to Dr Bhatia. Check in very friendly and organized. And then I met Robert the medical assistant. What an amazing young man he truly is. Professional, compassionate, understanding, empathetic, reassuring and I could go on and on. I've never felt so comfortable in a doctor's office like I did today.. then I met Dr Bhatia. Knowledgeable beyond words. She listened, she took her time, asked all the questions, allowed me to ask questions without becoming impatient. I never write reviews for anyone or any place. However, I am compelled to write a review of Sapna Bhatia, M.D. and her staff. After going through various tests with another physician, and receiving results, I felt something was not right with the grim diagnosis I was given. I searched extensively for another physician and settled on Dr. Bhatia. I was so excited that I did not waste the 2 hour drive for my appointment. First, the front desk is staffed by a friendly, competent woman(sorry, I don't know her name). She quickly checked me in, and within 5 minutes Dr. Bhatia's medical assistant, Robert Saldana called me into the room. He is so friendly and professional, he explained what he would be doing before I saw the doctor. He conducted several tests, and was encouraging through out the testing process.
Meeting Dr. Bhatia, was a pleasure. She was personable, and very knowledgeable. She asked all the right questions, allowed me to ask her as many questions as I wanted, never rushed me, and even took the time to review the CD I brought showing my two CT scans. She came back to me and said she disagreed with my previous diagnosis, explained what and why she felt I had something completely different and thankfully far less serious.
I have now seen the doctor again on a follow-up visit. I was happy to report that what she had me do for a month solved the problem.
If you need a trustworthy doctor who is extremely knowledgeable in her field, and has a wonderful staff, do not hesitate to see Dr. Sapna Bhatia!!!

Best pulmonologist in Vegas! I have been to three different pulmonologist in Las Vegas including seeing a specialist at Pulmonary Center of Nevada. I was hospitalized in February in the ICU for a week for severe lung conditions including pneumonia that turned septic. I am overall healthy and have never had breathing problems till last year. The other pulmonologist I had seen agreed something was definitely not right but after prescribing me steroids, inhalers and antibiotics I still ended up in the hospital twice. I was using a rescue inhaler several times a day, had chronic low oxygen and often had to use oxygen at night to sleep. I was finally referred to Dr Bhatta last month. The staff is amazing, they took the time to not only listen to what I was dealing with but have been able to give me my life back! I am on a new treatment plan and am able to call anytime for any questions or concerns I have. I am feeling better for the first time in a year and have a positive out look life again. They do not throw medication at me for no reason, they treat me with care and respect. I am grateful for Dr Bhatta and and her team.

They have an awesome team and are very friendly from start to finish. Receptionist always has a smile on her face whenever I come In. Then Rob who always makes me feel like family with every visit. They are also very fast and efficient with their plan of action which is important to me because I have a busy schedule. This place is a scam. They charge you a ridiculous amount of money to use a machine that is obnoxiously uncomfortable and unreliable to detect sleep apnea. Then they are the ones that read your results for more money…. I ended up having to go to the sleep study center which my insurance paid for and I got results. Do not waste your time or your money by going here.

As a newly diagnosed Stage IV Lung Cancer patient (diagnosed at the hospital) I felt lost and had to find the best care. After making a few phone calls to other DRs who wouldn’t return my calls or scheduled me weeks out, my PCP referred me to Dr Bhatia. Dr Bhatia met with me the next day, ordered all tests necessary to have ready for my Oncologist, made phone calls and escalated the process. She is a LIFE Saver!!! She reassured me I was going to be Ok and by the Grace of God and her team I am doing well. She goes over my scans in detail. She’s so smart and truly cares. UPDATE for visit on 5/3/2023

In layman terms I had some issues with some scans and was told by Dr. Bhatia to make sure I do NOT have a cold when I get my next scan done because in her opinion she felt the issues with my previous scan was because I had a cold. You have no idea how comfortable she made me feel that I should not worry about my scan and wait to see what the new scan shows. I was so confident in my choice of a lung doctor that I relaxed, didn’t worry and fret about the unknown and because of her experience and expertise she was right. Not only were my scans clear they also did not show the Issues they did the previous time and some (markings/spots/nodules - my layman terms) were smaller then ever before. Having a doctor that really knows her field and can help you navigate when issues do arise is the best thing you could ask for in the medical field. Thank you Dr. Bhatia and Robert (Medical Assistant) for always looking out for me! You’re the best and I am so proud to have you as MY doctor and Medical Assistant

ORIGINAL POST … Bhatia came highly recommended and when I tried to make an appointment with her at the Lung Center I was told she no longer worked there and they had no idea how to get in touch with her. I found this very unethical and unprofessional but luckily for me I was able to locate where she had gone. I first met with Robert, her medical Assistant and he was fabulous. You have to understand that I was referred to Dr. Bhatia because I had a suspicious X-ray of my lungs. Robert was very professional, calming, knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. He explained each procedure he did with me and why he was doing it. I then met Dr. Sapna Bhatia and was greeted with the same warmth, professionalism, knowledge, friendliness and caring that I got from Robert. A doctors practice is only as good as it’s employees and this one is at the top of my list. When I left there I knew I had chosen the right pulmonary doctor and staff for my health and wellness. It is not possible to put into words what a unique, educational and awesome experience we had with Dr. Bhatia. My mother was rushed to Summerlin ER and was in respiratory failure. She was in great health, but over two weeks prior she was having fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and was short of breath all the time. She said she was "tired" she said "I think I am dehydrated", I came home after work and took one look at her and called 911. They intubated in the ER and she then spent a week in ICU.

Upon release we were blessed to get an appointment to see Dr. Sapna Bhatia and her assistant Robert. From the arrival, to the Pulmonary Function Tests Robert performed, with his bold, supportive voice "GO, GO GO", my mom did amazing. Robert was such a delight, and a jewel for this practice. He is a much needed force that empowers the patient to WANT TO move the incentive spirometer and the equipment to detect your areas of struggle, my mom said I did not want to let him down...so she pushed as hard as she could because he motivated her. LOVE HIM!!

Dr. Bhatia gave us good news for my mom, looks like a bipap will be her best friend for the years to come, and she was a previous 30 year smoker and had quit at the age of 55, now 81, those lungs are tired and a bit damaged from her bad habit. Oxygen will be her friend as needed.

Nonetheless, Dr. Bhatia was full of information, she took great time and provided explicit detail that mom has Moderate COPD, and we never had any idea. Her body did a great job of compensating for her Carbon Dioxide overload, until it could not any longer. Dr. Bhatia was full of optimism and and understanding, mostly, she gave us relief, along with hope and thanks. Sure things are a bit different for mom, but mom is breathing better than she has in years, she is walking 6 minutes on the treadmill daily, her O2 is between 96-99 every day. She is alive and thankful. We all are.

How do you thank a provider for giving you hope, and more importantly, faith, that you do what you are supposed to and life should be a "breath of fresh air". Dr. Bhatia and Robert and your wonderful front office, thank you. Words are not enough to share just how much we love you. Working in healthcare I will and have already told everyone, including my own doctors, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR ALL YOUR PULMONARY NEEDS.......what a gift they are.

Dr. Bhatia and her team are professional and caring all at the same time! This was my first office visit and I was impressed by the care I received. I was on time for my appointment and I didn’t have to wait long. Marilou, the front desk, was attentive and friendly and greeted me with a smile which I appreciate. The back office MA, Robert, is efficient and kind. He did my PFT and I was comfortable in his care because that was my first PFT and I did not know what to expect. I had recovered from Covid and Dr. Bhatia knew exactly what I needed based on my test results. She had free samples for me to try and I was so grateful for that because I didn’t know how bad my lungs changed after covid. I am confident with the care I received that I will be okay in the long run. I needed a Pulmonologist that I could trust because there are only a few left in this town. The time Dr. Bhatia spent with me and listening to every concern I had, I knew that she was the best provider for me. She didn’t rush me or talk over me… she listened and we had a conversation which is hard to find nowadays with doctors only seeing patients for 5 minutes at a time. She’s attentive, caring, and professional..she tells you how it is and I appreciate the realness. If you want QUALITY care then this is the place! And when you see a specialist, make sure you don’t have to go to work after because she takes the time with her patients and you can tell! Thank you Bhatia Pulmonary Clinic for your help!!

Very poor experience. I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment because I was told NOT to fill out the new patient paperwork in the portal so I came and filled everything out. Waited. Waited. Waited. And waited some more. Like they Just forgot that I'm the only person sitting in the waiting room. Appointment was at 2:15 I arrived at 1:45 at 2:55pm I had checked in paid my $50 copay and still just left waiting. When I checked in at the window again to see when my appointment was going to be honored I was told to wait and they would be with me. I intentionally scheduled my appointment early enough to where I could still be seen and make it to work on time. I had a hard stop of 3:30 because I work at 4:00 p.m. so finally when they call me back I let you know I need to be out of here by 3:30 and they're like oh you can reschedule because that's not enough time for us. The service was horrible the attitude was horrible and wasting my time was very disrespectful. Patients shouldn't be treated this way.

Update: so speaking with my PHP today I was asked if I have researched with another office because they received notice that this office would not be honoring my appoint. They sent notification to my primary health care physician but they didn't contact me No call no email no letter via hard meal They kept my $50 copay that they said would be applied to my appointment that they rescheduled with me on April 14th and then they canceled my appointment without letting me know and sent a letter to my primary health care physician that they were not be seeing me. In a world of health care providers this office fails at caring for people.

If there was a better rating than 5, Dr. Sapna Bhatia would be worthy of it. She is able to align resources for the best possible outcomes through utilizing high-tech tools in her state-of-the-art facility with a common sense approach. Her staff (Robert and Mary Anne) are compassionate and personable professionals who have your good health at the forefront of their minds. They absolutely follow through with their commitments. In short, Bhatia Pulmonary would be my choice every time.

Dr. Hathia is fabulous! She’s highly intelligent and very thorough. She really takes her time with me and doesn’t rush to her other patients like some doctors tend to do. I’ve never had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes. Her MA Robert is a wonderful guy! He is very attentive and gets things done especially if you have issues with insurance. Everyone is so very friendly and kind! I highly recommend this Doctor!!

Not sure about the doctor but her receptionist/scheduler is unbelievably rude. She refused to schedule an appointment because she was unable to spell an address. She was rude about the insurance even though it was one accepted by the practice. If this is the type of person the doctor has representing her I guess I should feel lucky that I didn't get in.

From the moment you walk in, you know you’re in good hands. Jamika at the front is a doll. She’s easy to understand, makes the intake process easy, got to know me personally and welcomed me making me feel valued and understood why I was in practice.
Next I met Robert who took my vitals,
Reviewed my hospital discharge and explained the practice processes and the level of service and care that I would come to expect from the practice.
Then Dr Bhatia came in. She reviewed all my medical history thoroughly, my hospital discharge and records. She explained so much regarding my condition and symptoms. Sent me through two sleep studies and explained every finding in detail.
Her commitment to care and patient health is outstanding.
And that standard is obviously an expectation as demonstrated through her staff as well.

Dr. Bhatia is the best. She needs to grab the many uncaring physicians out there and teach them her approach to helping patients feel like they are worth something. She explains in simple terms. She answers question and encourages more conversation. She spends time hearing the story surrounding the medical issue. I had a very good night's sleep after my appt. Definitely different than the anxiety showered upon me by the previous scary and uncaring pulmonologist..

Just left this office and I wish I could give this Doctor and office staff 10 stars. Jamaica greats you at the front desk . She is caring and efficient. Robert the doctor’s assistant was great. He explained everything he did and made me feel comfortable with all the tests he performed. Dr. Bhatia was wonderful. She took the time to explain my diagnosis and treatment plan. She never made me feel rushed. As a registered nurse myself I know a great doctor when I see one. Dr Bhatia and her staff are examples of what a great medical practice should look like.

Dr Bhatia is amazing. Compassionate, good listener, thorough, and took on my multiple issues without hesitation. With my permission, reviewed prior labs and radiology reports online on the spot to get more information. The attitude here is patient first, and we will get to the root of the problem. This is rare in Las Vegas! I got farther with my issues in the first visit than I had in months with another pulmonologist. Medical assistant Robert S. Had the same kind attitude and told me to call if any concerns. He made good on that when I called the following week.

Dr. Bhatia and her team are amazing. When I was first sick they would come and see me in the hospital every morning like clockwork to check on the progress of my asthma. They worked very hard to get me the right medical equipment I needed and find the right balance of medicines to keep my asthma under control. They are angels and owe my life to them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pulmonologist.

We had the pleasure of meeting Dr Bhatia for the first time today. My husband has had lung cancer in the past and thank goodness today’s result was good news. I came in with a long list of questions and Dr B answered each and everyone of them with care and explained everything. We are new to Las Vegas from NY only here 8 months so changing Drs after years of being with them is quite difficult. Dr B has totally gained us as patients. I have no complaints for Dr Sapna Bhatia. She is direct, plain spoken, and leaves you with an understanding of what is going on. My issue is with her billing department. I paid $300.50 before the visit and was told that the respiratory test was covered. Now i receive a bill for $389.50 for said test. Double billing, deceit how ever you want to call it, sure leaves a rotten taste in the mouth . Update : after leaving this review, i was contacted by the billing department and all my concerns were addressed as they recognized an error from their end.
