UPDATE: I received a call from Mary, who personally ensured that my issue was fully resolved. She followed up with both a phone call and an email providing proof of the resolution, shared her personal extension, and was consistently available when I reached out. While I truly appreciate her professionalism and effort, I can’t in good conscience give a 5-star rating, as it shouldn’t have required a negative review for the issue to be addressed, especially after receiving multiple excuses beforehand. That said, this has been my only major complaint in the several years I’ve been a customer, so I feel confident giving 4 stars. I do hope the office improves its responsiveness to phone calls moving forward.

Im am so angry dealing with them. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I feel like my needs are not being met. I have reached out MULTIPLE times over the past few months about my referral to see my rheumatologist. 1. They NEVER answer the phone. 2. They would call me back and say it’s been sent or they are gonna reach out to whoever to get it taken care of and it’s NEVER taken care of 3. My rheumatologist is next door to their MLK location and they walked over to them trying to get my referral but was met with confusion. They have also called them multiple times and have not gotten back to. It’s so ridiculous and unprofessional. I even asked them if they can call my rheumatologist to explain the issue and they refused and said they will ask the insurance portal people to do it, which they didn’t.

My issue is they have to send the referral through my insurance portal, they’ve done it before so idk why they are having such a hard time getting it done now. I’ve had to cancel multiple appointments with my rheumatologist, my autoimmune disease flared up so it’s extremely necessary I see them. The only reason they are even getting two stars is because I actually like the provider I see.

Dr. Ramos is the best! She's very attentive, caring, knowledgeable and approachable. The empathy she have for me says a lot about her. Marie the front desk support representative always have a smile that's contagious very patient always helpful when I have question (I always have questions :-). Today I met Kari the student of Dr. Ramos. I couldn't tell she was a student. She definitely in good hands.

Dr. Nicknam and his staff are phenomenal. When I first started seeing Dr. Nickname my diabetes was uncontrolled and my AIC were 13 to 15. Dr. Nicknam and his staff helped me learn how to control and manage my diabetes. Now my A1C are 6.5 and my health and lifestyle has greatly improved. Dr. Nicknam and his staff are great medical providers. I highly recommend their expertise and long term care.

Dr. Amir Nicknam, the head of Southern Nevada Family Medicine, saved my husband life. He could see that he was having a heart attack and send us urgently to the hospital where they confirmed the diagnostic and did a catheterization and placed a stem. Thank you Dr. Nicknam!

Dr. Cavalli's bed side manners are excellent. She listens closely to me as a new patient, this was very important to me. As a new patient, she has met and exceeded my hopes for a PCP. Her office staff is absolutely amazing! The front desk young lady (I am so sorry that I forgot your name) is always friendly, caring, and always helpful! The back office staff...OMG...just amazing! I actually look forward to going to my doctor appointments because of how awesome every is there and how well they treat me...and all patients!!!

Great location. They were able to be flexible with my appointment. Friendly staff. I got to see the doctor, some locations you never even meet the doctor. I normally see Dr. Nicknam and he is great! This time I had Dr. Cavalli. I came in complaining of pelvic pain for over a month. I was obviously in pain and worn out from the constant pain. She said my urinalysis came back normal but her advice was to just take some antibiotics anyway and see a uroligist. She also ordered my yearly blood work. I had alot of questions because I have already been to the OB and couldn't pin point which organ the pain is coming from. She seemed annoyed that I had alot of questions. I was very concerned and wanted more than, just take some antibiotics. Anyway, when I was leaving I asked for the referral to a uroligist that she suggested and she told me that I had to wait for a 3 week follow up appointment to go over my yearly bloodwork. Does anyone think that it is medically appropriate to make someone who has constant pelvic pain to wait for yearly bloodwork. What does that have to even do with it? I am so offended that she just blew me off. I will never step foot in this office again. Also, I ended up in the hospital ER later that day. What a joke.

Worst experience I have ever had. First and foremost, they do not answer their phones- ever. You have to leave a message and then they still do not call you back. They sent my referral first to a non working number and then several weeks later to a surgery center instead of a doctors office. The referral is for a specialist about 25 miles from my home when there are 10+ specialists in my plan 3 miles or less from my home. Today I actually drove to the Summerlin office to straighten this all out and the office is shut down completely. The main office does not answer their phones or return phone calls either. I had my insurance company (Aetna) call several times and they can not get through either. I called the complaint department and guess what, they do not answer their phone. Good thing I am in fairly good health, if I was seriously ill I would be dead by now. The time and energy I have spent on a referral is over the top. They need to close this business down, I don't know how they get away with this. HMO's have the worst doctors and no easy access. So what I am told is that I have to find another PCP and start this whole process over.
