This clinic is sketchy. I have been trying to understand why they charged me more than what my copay says. I have called my insurance to confirm that they are in network, which they are, and that I was only supposed to pay what is listed as my co-pay. They charged me $60 more than what my insurance says I was responsible for. Their reasoning for charging me more was because of "extra services" that my insurance does not cover. I did not get anything more than an NP student listening to my heart and lungs and a slip to go elsewhere for bloodwork. $100+ to get my vitals checked is absurd. If my insurance company is telling me I only owe this amount of money, why am I getting charged more at the door. Doesn't sit right with me.

Physicians are good but the wait time can be an issue. Even with an appointment you can wait 30 to 45min just to be called in they take your vitals then wait for the doctor. I guess its kind of a double ended sword you want the doctor not to rush so they can be thorough and you can address any concerns but if you're in a time crunch and only put in a couple hours for time off at work it may not work for you.

An excellent experience. No unnecessary thrills waiting room that was comfortable, clean with friendly and supportive staff members. Not crowded, and fast service.

After a wait of only a few minutes staff completed a quick and accurate clinical assessment. A treatment pathway forward was explained, and allowed you to make a informed decision about your care. The treatment pathway began with the least medically ivasive, practical and inexpensive way forward first, with escalating care options if this is not as successful as hoped. They are not running the normal American PCP con where they try and sell you expensive treatments off the bat.

The attending doctor was open, consultative, straight talking, polite and knowlegeable.

A comfortable experience where you felt you were in control of your care decisions and being guided by caring and knowledgeable medical staff.

I was pleasently surprised that the doctor sent discount coupons for every medication. Her medication decision meant that, under my insurance, medication all combined was only $5. If I had no insurance, it would have been $35 with the coupons, or double that without. The appointment booking was easy and lots of communication to facilitate your appointment. Appointment costs were very reasonable.

All in all, a good experience we will continue to repeat. The staff should be proud of the kind and caring service they provide, and to me what appeared to be their commitment to accessable and affordable healthcare (rare in our area).

I have been going to Bamboo for a year and a half. Seen 3 different doctors. All were great, Sonia, Jenna. But, i am switching because of the lacking of admin. The front desk turns over a lot so often times they make a lot mistakes. I have received a billing statement from them once even after i requested them. I would be told at my appt that i owe. Many times my prescriptions are sent to the wrong place. Its just been too hard to work with them.

I want to express my visit and my child visit this month. It has been an amazing experience, especially for my baby. I have been seen by one of the most kindest, patience, and knowledgeable person who truly are loved by her patients. Jenna has helped me through my visits. I dont ever feel rushed or she dont understanding what I am saying because I have a southern accent. She always ask is theres anything else I need. I never had problems with her sending my medication. When I leave the office I get an notification from my pharmacy. My baby like her. Jenna were very sweet to her for her first visit. Worst experience ever just trying to get an appointment. I booked online via their website just to receive an email the morning of the appointment saying they declined it and to call if I want to make an appointment. All day call no answer, it should not be this difficult to schedule a doctors appointment or to even reach the office. I absolutely would not recommend and I’m definitely looking for a new PCP.

Good luck getting anyone on the phone, voicemail is constantly full, and I am pretty sure you cant call in and get anyone on the phone. I have been out of my mental health medication for over a month, they have not called me back and any attempt to make an appointment without actually going is truly difficult. The practice however is great, the Dr's and everyone in the clinic is very professional and handle with care and trust. But this phone situation is super super frustrating.

I had my first child back in March of 2025. Since September of 2025 I have made multiple appointments to try to get the dosage of my depression meds upped as I was struggling with postpartum depression. I made an appointment in September that my provider (Jenna) was too busy to make herself, so the other doctor was sent in to help. She said she would approve the change in meds with Jenna. She called me back once I left the office and told me all was well and they sent in the RX. however, when I picked it up I noticed the dose had not changed. When I reached back out I was told that I would need to see Jenna specifically and not the other doctor (even tho my last appoint was WITH Jenna and she was the one who sent the other doctor in on her behalf). I was angry, but needed help so I complied and made another appointment. I saw Jenna this time and we had a quick 5 minute chat about my meds. Told her all were fine except for the depression meds I needed a higher dose because after I gave birth they had put me on an extremely low dose and it was not helping me at all. She said okay, sent me on my way, then filled my SAME RX. frustrated, I called again and was told by the receptionist that Jenna claimed to have told me that my meds could not be changed without seeing a psychologist. Which was NEVER told to me. Otherwise I would have gotten that done MONTHS ago so I could take care of my mental health and get back into a good mindset in order to take care of my child they way he deserves. Jenna claimed that we had this conversation and I was done arguing. I told the receptionist that I’d be waiting for the referral. That was back in October. It’s now January of 2026 and I still have no referral. I’m confused if they would rather me sub come to my mental health issues instead of helping me? They let someone who’s been begging for help with depression (as a new and first time mother) suffer for half a year instead of taking me seriously and actually trying to help. I hope I can get the referral over before my depression gets any worse. DO NOT GO HERE if you can help it. You will not get the help you need. You are not safe or valued here. Please find another PCP before you find yourself in a similar situation as me.

Do not use this clinic unless you are in dire need. My wife has been a patient of the clinic for about four months and she has never seen her doctor. The various PA's always have her for the appointment and keep running in and out to ask Dr. McKamey questions. Our guess is the doctor is not physically in the building. They refuse to fill her prescriptions for three months at a time and just keep making her come back over and over. In addition, they are requiring a urine drug test on every visit due to a medication she has been on now for about ten years. And yes, we checked, this is not a NV regulation, it is some hangup the doctor has. Luckily we have found her old doctor is still practicing and have changed. This has been the absolute worst care I have ever seen from any doctor.

Disappointed! This place has gotten so busy. The office is constantly changing. I have been put on 2 different antibiotics in the last a week and a half, I call the front office and tell them, I think I have blood in my urine. My back hurts around the kidneys. Can I come in and leave a urine sample. That's it a sample to tell me if I need to head to the hospital. I have done it before when they're not taking walk ins, just a sample. She tells me she asked the doctor. i'm really disappointed if that's true. Being left on, hold for 20 minutes and forgotten.
For the fifth or so time. I guess I'll go to the hospital maybe for no reason. Hopefully, I find a new primary care physician office before I need anything cause you're probably not gonna take me now.

The reason for 2 stars is that after Mericel Leppala left, lots of errors, & my reports / refferals where either not in, - at one point , I was sent to a location that does not exist for one special list that I needed to see. I was lost in Las Vegas , I felt like giving up. I still had pain so I went back to the clinic trying to help myself at home, but it was oviose I needed the right care . I just kept track of everything said & done. When ever medications made me worse I called mediately to see what should be done. I've been sent to the hospital 4 - 5x in 2 or 5 times in 2 years. In one year I was seen twice in one week. I had to keep calling in order to get my health back in order & changed so many times my medication, until finally I stop medications after getting an MRI. I got an MRI after reffered to many other specialist when I was told an MRI could do an see what the other specialist has done an seen. I am nolonger a weed smoker for months now. The specialist tomorrow should have all my results & Know what exactly is causing my left side pain for 8 years now that has progressed to me seeing the emergencyroom almost so often. I haven't seen the hospital since. Thanks to those that did try an help, & those that almost made me feel like I'm going to die, may God be with you and forgive you.

Front office staff is rude, unprofessional and incompetent. It’s rare that you see your actual provider when booking an in person appointment. Too many times I’ve called for test results or prescription updates and they’ve not had them or claimed they did not know what I was talking about. It is a waste of time coming here. I had two 0900 appointments scheduled over last few weeks for an annual physical & then lab review (this is the first available appointment time of the day mind you), and both times I had to sit in waiting room for better than 30 minutes before being brought back. The first visit I was seen by a FNP student for bulk of my visit (the clinic FNP popped her head in for about 1 min at the end of the visit and came across as put out/bothered that she even had to enter the exam room).
Unsure why there is a 0900 appointment time slot even available, with MULTIPLE email and text message reminders of the appointment and NOT TO BE LATE, when clearly they are incapable of being on time.

This year, I needed a new primary care doctor & I found NP Maricel Leppala. She's an extremely caring doctor, very thorough, kind & patient. I was so happy I found her. She gets a 5 star rating!!!

But, unfortunately that's when the praises stop because of the staff that run that office!!!! In my 49 years, I've never experienced such unprofessionalism, incompetency, immoral behavior & just blatant disregard towards a patient in my life. Unbelievable!!! Absolutely speechless!! Dominique, in the billing department flat out, refused to omit a billing code error that was blatantly wrong from Feb. 16, 2024. She sent an adult exam diagnostic code Z001 onto Quest Diagnostics when she submitted the other codes to draw my blood. Unless you were born yesterday, everyone knows that phlebotomists at Quest Diagnostics don't do adult exams EVER!! THEY DRAW BLOOD & TAKE URINE TESTS!!! Only doctors do adult exams!!! My insurance company & I called & told her what needed to be fixed & omitted & her response was infuriating. I was told by Madison that because I didn't owe them any money, they didn't care. She said the office manager looked at the claims & said she saw no errors. Unbelievable!! Mind blown!!! They had absolutely no desire to fix their error. In what world is this behavior acceptable??!! We all make mistakes. That's what makes us human. We in turn, fix them, but not Bamboo Family Clinic. They told me to have Quest Diagnostics fix it. Quest Diagnostics told me what Bamboo Family Clinic was asking them to do was against the law!!!! Bamboo family Clinic needed to correct their owe errors, so Quest Diagnostics could, in turn, bill my insurance correctly. It's that simple!! So, with that all being said, my insurance company (ChampVA) refuses to pay anything on those 2 bills because of the obvious billing error.
So I was forced to now pay $768.35 for some blood tests that should've been only under $10.00.
I will never ever go to this clinic again!! What goes around comes around. Shame on you!! These people should be fired!!
My kidneys keep trying to shut down on me & I definitely don't need a doctor's office that behaves in this manner. Patients need to be aware. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Dr Jenna Lopez has been so great to me! She actually listens to me & takes me seriously instead of pushing me off. She’s probably the first doctor that’s ever taken my symptoms seriously instead of saying “oh it’s because you have kids”. She also does telehealth to go over results which is so great for someone “who has kids” 🙃🙃, just teasing, for anyone that can’t make it to the office. This is one of the best Doctor's Office's I've ever been to and I have been a lot of places sadly. Everyone here is amazing and actually listen to you which is hard to find these days. I never have to wait long to get seen for an appointment and the office wait time in the office is always quick for me never longer than 15 minutes or so if even that. I got a letter saying I had to switch doctor's and I was devasted I was going to have to see someone else because they were no longer going to accept my insurance thankfully my insurance had switched over and that letter was for the doctor they appointed me not this place I had picked when I was on the other insurance plan. 10/10 Stars Highly recommended

I literally go completely across town just to see Dr. Jenna Lopez. I've been seeing her for almost 2 years now. Her and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I never have to wait long either because they never overbook patients like most clinics out here. The only issue is the website when trying to book an appointment (They're working on it, might have been fixed by now). It's best to just call to book it. I've only had one appointment so far with the phsychiatric med management portion with Dr. Jenna but I felt very heard. Blood work was offered which has never been suggested at previous apts I've been to for depression/anxiety. I was also given a referral to their sister company downstairs for talk therapy. Both Nurse Practitioners were friendly, understanding, and concerned about my health & concerns. Coming in as a new patient to Bamboo Family Clinic, I felt welcomed and cared for. This was the first clinic I have been to since moving here from CA I must say the staff is friendly, great customer service from front desk. Waited about 5 mins before being called in for vitals, saw Ethel Sajor-Sam very knowledgeable nurse practitioner, hard to understand but if u ask to repeat herself she goes the extra mile and into detail so that I was able to understand her which is a plus in my book. She has been the only provider to actually treat a rash that urgent care couldn’t determine what it was and I struggled in trying to get rid of for over 4 months.

Switched over because of all the good reviews and it is closer to were ww live now. But the place is a joke! Dr. Cecilio does not hear out his patients and does whatever he wants at the end. Wants you to schedule early and on his time instead of making time for his patients. Referral department takes forever to get things out and they never answers calls. First appointment they had alot of paperwork with wrong info like name and date of birth, etc.. Having us written it down the correct way!

A HOT mess. No returned phone calls. The one "doctor" is a nurse practitioner from the Philippines who you can barely understand. Everything is outdated. The only person at the front desk willing to talk to people is Lidia. She's in high demand because talking to the other people at the clinic is like talking to a brick wall. Also, the nurse practitioner Ethel, they have to remind her to do things (send prescriptions and etc). I got tired of it all and finally left. They also ask people to leave a good review on google.

My daughter and I have been coming here for over a year and we love it. They are friendly and caring and they always take their time going over information with us. We missed our appointment twice and they were super nice about it and got us in fast. They offered my daughter and I water every time and they are always patient with us. I definitely recommend giving the Bamboo Family Clinic a visit. :)

If you need a doctor don't come here cause u wasting your time dr. Not in the office cars doctors not in and they do FaceTime by phone or zoom.com don't you want to come to a doctor's office and see the doctor well this place is not having that into a month from now you should give him a call and ask him if doctors in they should be able to tell you the truth never asked me been waiting for 4 days to talk to the doctor and FaceTime every single time I get it just something is wrong with doctors not in they have too much appointments excuses after excuses receptionist keep telling me that call me back and then never call you back would love to see a doctor face-to-face so if you have a problem make sure you let him know is the doctor in.

Bamboo clinic is a warm welcoming home clinic. The Doctor and personal staff are you Nice and respectful. They make you feel at home the place is full of love and positive. I just had a newborn and I couldn't be more happy with the visit I had at Bamboo Family Clinic today. It is a family practice in a pretty mundane building. The staff however, overshadows location. They were so nice, I didnt have to wait an hr and a half like I did at Anthem Hills Pediatrics. The doctor was very kind and patient with my newborn. She made sure her hands were warm before touching him etc. She put care and time into the visit. Highly recommend this family clinic!!
