I’ve been a patient at this office for several years, seeing Dr. Sonu Bhatia, but my recent experiences have raised concerns about how visits are communicated and ultimately billed.

Most recently, I scheduled a visit to obtain a prescription. The appointment was brief and straightforward, with no indication that it would be categorized at a higher level of complexity, yet it was billed as a Level 4 office visit, resulting in a significantly higher charge than expected.

This was not an isolated situation. During a previous annual exam, which is covered at no cost under my insurance, I later received additional charges because the visit was coded differently and included extra services.

This points to a broader concern. The issue is not what my insurance covers, but that there was no clear communication during the visit about what was being ordered, how it would be billed, or that it would result in additional charges. I was also not given the opportunity to consent to or decline additional labs or services before they were ordered.

There were also administrative issues that added to the overall experience. I was charged a no show fee despite calling to cancel due to a family emergency, and resolving that required multiple follow ups.

Clear communication during the visit is essential so patients can make informed decisions in real time.

Absolutely horrible. No compassionate patient care. Sessions made without appropriate review. Do not go to this practice if they feel like if and I mean their staff you will not be cared for and your issues will mean nothing to them.

I have been seeing Doctor Batia for about 25 years now. And I can honestly tell you his by far the best Doctor I've ever had, He and his staff are second to none. I'm so honored to be his patient for all these years. He is wonderful.

Dr, Bhatia is the best. So knowledgeable, and kind. Empathetic, and he listens! A rare find in a physician. The staff so efficient and friendly. He is straight and to the point. No problems regarding wait times, minimal in the world of doctors.

Don’t get your blood work done here. The dr’s have nothing to do with it. The service & professionalism is awful. Late. Look like they just rolled out of bed handling important documents & fluids. Personal hygiene should be top priority.Tonia you should take more pride & a better attitude to work.

Finally, a Dr. that actually knows how to treat patients! Very knowledgable, proactive, and thorough. I didn't feel rushed, we went through all my issues and he addressed each.

The staff was fast too. I showed up 15 minutes ahead of my appointment time and was brought to the room for examination exactly on time. Dr. Bhatia came in 4 minutes after the medical assistant finished with me.

I have been really happy with Dr. Bhatia, his assistant, and staff, for 5 years. He takes time to answer questions. They have an in-office Quest testing phlebotomist.

Dr. Bhatia is the most caring, patient, understanding, (I could go on and on but you get the idea) he is truly the best. If he can't fix it he'll find you someone who can. He, unlike a lot of doctors nowadays cares and enjoys his patients and does what's right for them, not what's going to make him the most money. He's always on time and the wait is never long. His staff is great too. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bhatia has been my primary care physician for nearly 15 years. He has always been caring and willing to take time to understand any medical concerns. He is thorough and competent. I decided to make Dr. Bhatia my PCP and it was the best decision I could have made! The front desk staff was amazing! Very welcoming, very nice, and very quick! Dr.Bhatia listened to me & made me feel very comfortable! His nurse Kayla was very sweet! I highly recommend this office if you want welcoming & kind service! My visit was amazing!!

I am reluctant to refer Dr. Bhatia as it may make it harder to get an appointment but he is a fine physician with a great manner of talking to you. His staff are efficient. He has a new nurse so well see how responsive she is but so far so good.

Very happy with Dr. Bhatia and his staff. They're all very kind and patient and he is very knowledgeable and actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and makes an informed diagnosis based upon them. I never felt like he was rushing to get out of the exam room at any time. He seemed genuinely concerned with my issues, and not just moving on to the next patient. Also, the wait time is very low in the office. I was seen almost exactly at my appointed time, which is a rarity anymore. Very thrilled to have found a new, good Dr!

Dr. Sonu Bhatia is the best doctor I've found in 20+ years living in Las Vegas. I was recommended by a friend after sharing my frustrations about other doctors always being in a hurry, Not listening to patients, and not truly caring about their work. Dr. Bhatia gets 5 stars from me for being one of the few great doctors left in Las Vegas.
