I came in this morning the same way I've come in for thirteen years — and walked out reminded of why I keep coming back.

Lonnie (Launa) — my hygienist, my friend — has kept me in line for a decade now, and I don't say that lightly. She's done a wonderful job on my teeth, every single visit. But it's more than the work. She's a sweetheart — loving, kind, patient with an old soldier who'd rather be anywhere than in that chair. I think half the noise in this building is just us two laughing our way through a cleaning. She's that kind of person: she makes you glad you came.

And the ladies up front — don't think I forgot about you. A visit starts the moment you walk in the door, and every one of you has been part of making the years what they were. You're the first hello and the last goodbye, and you do it with a smile that means it.

This was my 3rd time visiting the office. My previous visits were normal because it involved routine cleaning. I had taken the X-rays, during my first visit. I believe it was a FMX, full array of X-rays, a year ago. To my surprise today, I was forced to take panoramic X-rays when I made an appointment for a dimple cleaning. So I complained that I do not need this because I wasn’t having any pain or discomfort. So I checked with internet and found out that the panoramic x rays are normally taken 3-5 years of interval because my insurance would deny the claim and I would end up paying. That’s exactly what happened. I ended up paying $50 dollars. To make the long story short, this office is not practicing honest way of business. Aggressive x rays for extra money. That’s what it is. So I am changing my dentist from this one for sure. Terrible. Just bad tastes in my mouth…..

To make matters worse, after pushing for unnecessary X-rays, the dentist bluntly told me I had a complicated molar infection and risked losing the tooth—yet provided zero treatment plan, advice, or next steps. On top of that, an assistant explicitly assured me the panoramic X-ray would be covered by insurance, only for me to be hit with an unexpected $50 out-of-pocket fee. Dismissive patient care, inaccurate billing information, and terrible customer service overall.

BUDGET DENTAL was highly recommended to me by my 2 brothers. Being a Senior on a fixed income & with no dental insurance, BUDGET DENTAL has been very accommodating & affordable. Since 2017, I've suffered from the chronic oral condition of Dry Mouth; which has been decaying most of my teeth.

When I first met Dr. Ji Cutter, DMD, 4 years ago, she clearly & concisely outlined several treatment plans for me to choose from. To date, 6/30/26, she has repaired several chipped teeth, installed 4 crowns & extracted 9 teeth. I recently went in for a cleaning at budget dental. Everyone is very friendly. They had the best numbing gel. The nice lady cleaning my teeth was gentle and made me comfortable. Her name started with an L. They have a zen shrine of battery operated candles and a water fall thing to look at while getting teeth cleaned. Best of all they list their prices on their website!

I called to schedule an appointment and was able to get one set up quickly. I even asked if they could let me know about any cancellations, and they actually got me in the very next day at 8am, which I really appreciated!

When I arrived, they took X-rays and were able to remove my wisdom tooth the same day. I was honestly really scared and nervous going in, but the doctor was so kind and patient. They made sure I felt comfortable the entire time and kept checking to make sure I didn’t feel any pain.

There was a bit of a wait, but I could tell it was because they were being extra careful to make sure I was fully numb before starting, which I really appreciated. Overall, such a great experience—I’m so grateful for how smoothly everything went and how well they took care of me

Dr. Cutter is a rarity; an honest dentist. Smiles for Life in Henderson quoted me over $7000 for crowns that were “necessary immediately”.
I was, and am, in no pain. Dr. Cutter identified 3 cavities to be filled but said the crowns, while probably needed over the next several years, could wait. I felt totally comfortable with her and her hygienist (Nileen).

I never thought I would write this review. Be aware that I’ve been a faithful patient of Dr. Cutter for over 7 years. She’s never failed me. Today was different and left me very concerned.

I went in for a basic cleaning. I also live 15 miles away but, again, she had my loyalty. The whole process was disjointed. Once Dr Cutter examined the x rays, she mention an “abscess” on a lower tooth.

I know a need crowns on my lower teeth. She checked for pain and there wasn’t any….anywhere. The treatment plan called for extraction of a tooth that wasn’t even hurting. No pain at all. Plus the requisite implant.

Why not antibiotics if it’s infected? Why are we going the most expensive route? I expect a tooth extracted when I’m in pain.

Seems Ji realizes the $$$ is in implants. I left not fully understanding anything for the first time ever, and I’m not spending $10,000 when I don’t truly grasp the medical need for it.

There’s plenty of dentists half the distance to Budget Dental. Time for a 2nd opinion.

I have “experimented” with 3 other dentists and always return to Dr. Cutter. She is upfront, honest, and makes dental work as painless as it can be. As a tax professional, I know the value of each client. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Cutter for your dental needs.

I made an appointment for possible follow-up care on crown-work done last September.

Dr. Cutter had the office reach out to move the appointment up out of concern, which I truly appreciated. At the visit, the crown was adjusted by drilling it down on one side, and as I was leaving, I was pleasantly surprised to learn there was no charge.

I was quoted around $3,200 for a root canal and crown at several offices in Las Vegas.

Since my budget was tight, I even checked with offices in Pahrump and Mesquite, but the prices were only moderately lower.

Budget Dental quote far less than anyone else. Their operation is efficient, practical, and they did a great job.
