Very thorough. I've only been to my first appointment but I have set up my follow-up appointment for my blood work results. Also set me up for a mammogram and a colonoscopy. Everyone was nice. I went back and I was treated very rudely by the nurse practitioner. I called to get a prescription and they never called it in.

Dr Lotterhos was fantastic. He talked to you like a person, made eye contact, listened to what you had to say, and provided easy to understand options and explanations. APRN Nadia is none of these things. She was distracted, uninvolved, spent the entire time staring at her laptop, and reeked of perfume. She asked nothing about prior conditions diagnosed by Dr Lotterhos and made no inquiries about my current medications. I asked about getting bloodwork done since it has been over a year, and when i was checking out, I asked about bloodwork. They had no idea what I was talking about and said to sit and wait while they checked. After 10 minutes, they said she was busy, and they would find out and call me. No one ever called back, and it's virtually impossible to get an actual person on the phone when you call them. The appointment was a complete waste of time, and I've already made an appointment to establish primary care with another provider.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience I had at your office regarding my lab work and the lack of accountability from staff.

I was explicitly instructed by my primary care provider and your staff to return two weeks prior to my scheduled appointment in order to have labs completed. This was to ensure that my doctor could review the results with me during my upcoming visit. Based on this instruction, I arranged time away from work to come in.

When I arrived, I was told by the front desk staff that no lab orders had been placed and that they would not be ordered until my appointment. When I explained that I was following the instructions given directly by the doctor and staff, I was simply told there was nothing that could be done and that the doctor could not be contacted to correct the error.

This is unacceptable. I followed the directions provided by your office in good faith, yet I was inconvenienced and left without a solution. The lack of communication and unwillingness to address the mistake on the spot reflects poorly on the professionalism and patient care standards of this clinic.

1. When I call in with a question or concern I'm only able to leave a message with the call center
2. They always say I'll get a call back but in the 10 weeks I've been going to this place I've never received a call back
3. Several times the workers at the desk make appointments for me and when I show up there's no record of the appointment
4. When I'm sent out on referral to see a specialist there's no follow up on my status with these specialists. Recently I was scheduled for a procedure with a specialist that was cancelled and my doctor didn't know about the cancellation until my next visit with him a week later
I'm very disappointed with the healthcare industry in general for it's lack of competence and the sloth like way takes care of it's patients. Valley Oaks Medical Group is a player in all that

Horrible service I can never get a hold of anyone in the clinic and when I leave work early to go talk to them they are no help and they always say they're going to call me back and they never do!! The doctor sent a prescription to my pharmacy and sent 2 different dosages so since April 8th me and my pharmacy have been calling so the doctor can send the exact dose but a 3rd party answers and says all they can do is send them a message and they'll call me back which they never do. It took so long for the doctor to answer that my pharmacy had to cancel my prescription. Now they had to resend the prescription and i got off work early just so I can go to the clinic and talk to them in person which they said the doctor was busy and they would call me when she's going to send the prescription again, and no they never called me. Now I just got off the phone with the 3rd party again because my doctor sent the prescription but has not sent the prior authorization to my insurance. It's ridiculous if they don't want to help me they can just say that and i would gladly look somewhere else, but don't give me the run around lying to me!!! It's been a headache and from 3rd party calling center to the clinic have been very unprofessional everytime I call i get put on hold for 20-30 minutes cause the clinic never answers.

I had a bad experience with Dr Nadia, for both visits I mentioned to her all my concerns about me, one of them is me having asthma. After noticing she didn’t send the prescription like she said she would I called the clinic and they told me that Dr Nadia said that we never had a conversation about me having asthma and needing an inhaler. I used to work with Doctors at a clinic and understand that sometimes they can forget to send prescriptions but to flat out say that we never had a conversation was absurd and unprofessional. There were also 2 different referrals she was supposed to send and she never did, I only saw her twice and didn’t even do my follow up just from the lack of care she showed. I switched to a different provider and they helped me more in 30 minutes than the 2 visits I had with Dr Nadia. I chose her initially from the previous reviews but I regret doing so, I even referred my roommate to her and she had a bad experience with her as well. The staff were really sweet and prompt when that issue happened so I appreciate them for that but I would advise to think twice about booking with Dr Nadia

Update. Went in to renew scripts (again 30 days since my last) I also had no still have a uti , I used to get them all the time, asked for keflex cuz I know that works. Nope. She gave me one that made me violently I'll. Took calling 4 times over 8 days and put on hold 45 min one time to have the receptionist tell me I have to go back in before she'll give me the keflex. Didn't say because it's more than a uti. And they have me coming in on the 10th again for a check up again. Not billing Medicaid for everything they can are they? I will report them. Place is so ghetto!

Doctors have no experience; when a patient arrives with discomfort, the first thing to do is an assessment of the patient. As soon as the doctor saw that I was pregnant, she said that she did not treat pregnant women or prescribe medication. The least she could have done was to see what type of problem I had and go from there. I do not recommend this clinic at all. All the people who were there had problems with the doctors.

Dr virgilio Sue has been wonderful I just found out he will be retiring and truly missed not sure what I'm going to do without his care I truly appreciate all the time and patient and his effort in my care he has been more than a doctor truly a big loss but I pray for the best retirement for him and his family thank you for all you've done for me Doctor Sue 🙏 may God bless you with a beautiful retirement for you and your family Amen 🙏

Friendly and helpful front desk. The medical assistants are kind and professional. Lastly, Provider Mirielys is compassionate and actually takes her time with you. My visits never feel rushed.

I called and tried to set up an appointment and just kept being placed on hold and each time a different receptionist would pick up and just sound horrid. I honestly wish them the best because they sound over worked and miserable.

I feel like I was seen in a very timely matter. I did not have to wait long for my appointment I like that. And she was very personable. And she sat and listened to me and gave me great feedback on my visit. And I will continue to go to her.

I take my dad there for his visits all the time it take me over 1 hour in the waiting area before we go back for another long wait before we actually see the doctor. That is so crazy persons come in after us and leaves us behind Mark you we do have appointment.

This place would have five stars if the follow up was just as good as the provider. After seeing Dr mejias, I felt as though with my myriad of medical conditions I was in good hands. However I have diabetic supplies that were prescribed to me by her in early January and then again in mid-January that both required prior authorizations. The office staff between Jessica and Shayla the office manager assured me that these would be handled. However after sitting at my pharmacy for two weeks and having to make another video visit with Dr mejias, To be represcribed those medications Jessica said that she had completed the prior authorizations and would follow up with me that never happened. I continuously call the office every day for at least four or five times only to get the answering service and no one to call me back. As of February 1st I had my next monthly appointment where I addressed vehemently that these things needed to be done. As they hush me and set me in a side office someone named Miranda Fernando proceeded to start the prior authorization request via cover my meds and handed me the request key ID to somewhat prove that they have done it that day however here it is now a week later, The medication still has not been submitted for prior authorization I spoke with a representative from both my insurance and cover my meds and neither one has received the prior authorization request.
The follow-ups are non-existent at this office. The follow-through by employees of the support staff have earned this office a negative star in my opinion. This is so uncalled for and right now I'm at a crossroads between remaining a patient and looking elsewhere for health care.
