I used to come here regularly, and I had a root canal done—it was botched over a year ago, and ever since then, I’ve only felt pain in that tooth, and food keeps getting stuck there. I do not recommend this place at all. On top of that, they wanted to perform more root canals, but other doctors told me they weren't necessary. I will never go back there.

I have been coming to this location for many years, having to been to both their previous location under the prior name and even the affiliated mobile dentist in the past.

Dr. Tungol is the newest dentist at the location, having joined from a long time private practice he had in California. He is far and away one of the best dentists that I have ever had in my life. He demonstrated a genuine interest in me as a patient and actually took time to talk with me about any concerns I had unlike other dentists in the past who were rushing through everything. I can honestly say that I have rarely even had a medical doctor that was as attentive as Dr. Tungol was during my time in the office.

I had a normal cleaning, xrays, exam scheduled for today. The receptionist was friendly and got me checked in. I was taken back quickly even though I had arrived early. Stacy the hygienist was quick and efficient with the cleaning after taking a few minutes to get everything setup, check with the doctor on timing for the exam, and ensuring she reviewed my chart prior to starting. Periodically during the cleaning, she provided helpful and thoughtful tips for several things in a friendly manner. After finishing, she went ahead she took my xrays while the doctor was finishing with another patient and took me back to the exam area.

I thought I would be waiting a while, but the Dr. Tungol fairly quickly finished and come over to introduce himself. While he did not have any immediate concerns, I brought up something that had been bugging me for the last few years that I had been wanting to address. He also made a recommendation on a very old filling that I have. I was quickly given the estimate for what we discussed and to my surprise was given the option to have half the work done right away instead of being sent on my way like I have been for things in the past at this office. Dr. Tungol walked through what he would be doing and each of the steps while gathering what he would need, putting me immediately at ease. Even though he assistant had to leave earl on this day, he demonstrated confidence in gathering everything he needed and very quickly was able to start the procedure. He checked on me frequently during the relatively straightforward procedure to ensure I was doing well with everything.

Definitely would highly recommend coming here, especially if you are able to see Dr. Tungol!

Just got done have a tooth extraction, they scheduled me for 4:00 just before closing. I was surprised I didn’t have the same dentist that did my root canal before. I had a new dental assistant and new Dr do the extraction. They were both in a hurry, didn’t ask me how I was or anything, didn’t do anything to make me comfortable though I had told the previous staff how much I hated the dentist and how nervous it made me. No nitrous, dental assistant put the Novocain in the wrong place so he stabbed my top pallet with absolutely no numbing agent first, waited about 10 min, I never fully got numb, and started to the extraction. He jerked and pulled at it I felt every pull and his big metal tools kept hitting my other teeth hard. I was shaking and gripping the chair the whole time. They never asked how I was even once. The dr even said at one point he needed to be done before 5:00 so he was gonna do it quick. It’s been a couple hours the anesthetic is warn off completely and I’m in excruciating pain. They just didn’t seem to care, no sensitivity no compassion.

Been coming to this place for almost a year, hygienist and assistant staff are very good. I decided to replace my old crown on my front tooth,  Dr Jackelin Patterson was on charge of that,  she never ever touched my mouth, she just ordered X rays. Well, first new crown was too up that I could barely close my lips, she ordered another one, 2nd crown was way longer that my teeth and when I told her I was not happy with it, she was loudly arguing  and started yelling at me that was not her fault, saying I was so picky and she was giving me my money back, then when I said stop yelling at me or I am going to record this conversation she slammed my crown on the table and left the room, after a few minutes alone in the room I realized what just happened and I started crying because I was toothless and I didn't know what  to do, she didn't hesitate leaving me like that  and she never came back, the assistant brought manager Jasmin to talk  and calm me down, made me a temporary crown and offered the services of another Dr to take my case, I said no thanks,  give me my money back as Dr Patterson told me she will.  After 2 months with the temporary crown and waiting for a refund that I never got, I talked to manager Jasmin and I decided to give Dr Park in this location a chance to do my crown and I don't regret it.  He made an amazing job, he even skipped lunch when he was working on the shape of my tooth because that way the crown would fit, no too up, no too long , he  treated me on a  nice and gentle way, he explained me why was necessary to shape my original tooth a little bit.  My new crown looks completely natural and I am so happy now.  I really recommend Dr. Park who is very committed to his job.

The first bridge Dr. Patterson did for me was great. However, after that, I'm not sure what went wrong. I lost two healthy teeth (on the bottom, left side of my mouth) due to how long it took for the bridge to be ready. When it was finally completed, it wasn’t the right color. So, I had to wait even longer to get it corrected. In the meantime, the temporary bridge wouldn’t last more than three days, and I had to leave work early multiple times to get a new temporary one replaced.

It took so long that I ended up needing root canals on both teeth that were supposed to have the bridge placed. Once a tooth has a root canal, it's more vulnerable to cracking or breaking, which is exactly what happened. I lost two perfectly healthy teeth because the bridge process took so long. By the time the bridge was ready, one of the teeth had to be pulled because it had cracked. I was extra careful not to eat on that side, but it didn’t make a difference—the tooth cracked anyway.

Now, instead of a bridge, I need to get a crown made for the remaining tooth. Of course, it took another long wait to get that done, and I needed a root canal on it too. When the crown was placed, I told the doctor it was hurting, but she said it was because it had been touched so much. Two months later, I ended up needing to have that tooth removed because of an infection.

At this point, I feel like I’ve hit rock bottom. I’m beyond frustrated. They were supposed to refund me approximately $1,900. While they refunded the insurance, they’re stalling on giving me the credit. I need that money to get new teeth, as the partial denture they made for my upper teeth no longer fits and hurts my gums. I have no teeth on the bottom left side, and nothing to anchor anything there. My gums hurt because I have no teeth to eat properly with.

I don’t understand why all of this has happened to me, and I’m incredibly frustrated that it’s been nearly a year and I still haven’t received my refund. I’ve complained to the Culinary and the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners, but the billing department continues to ignore me. I’m considering finding an attorney or taking them to small claims court. My patience has run out after being told for the past four months that I would receive the refund on the 21st of each month—and nothing happens. The Culinary Department has said they don’t understand why they’re holding the money, and they find this situation dishonest.

Once I receive my refund, I’ll be able to move on, but I’ve waited long enough before writing this review. At this point, I’m done waiting.

Been with them since 2016..today i got my appointment at 11:30am cause of the crown that is sensitive, did x-ray and another x-ray after that a scan of my teeth..the assistant was not gentle at all i was almost gag when she put the the thing on my mouth for the x-ray...after that i wait....not seen by the doctor till around 1:00 ish to be told that there's a black on my root and there's a excess sement on one of the crown that's been delivered since february and after taking the cement out my tooth the doctor left..again they did another x-ray on the tooth that has cement and i guess it's gone now,so the assistant told me to wait in the lobby to be check out and she come back inside and go to the lobby and pass me this prescription that i need to take which is amoxicillin no explanation just handed it to me here's your prescription and i was like uuhhhmmm i'm allergic to penicillin and they change it to something else, i don't know if they are under stuff or overbooked but it feels like the doctor is in the rush when it's your turn...even when i did my bridge impression last time my anesthesia wear off cause the doctor was so busy tending other patient...spent 4.5 hours there! But i like their hygenist she is the one who told me to make an appointment to check my bridge/crown cause she can tell there is something wrong with them..but i might go somewhere else,cause you waited for so long but when it's your turn the doctor feels she's rushing all the time. Just like today didn't even bother to explain to me what was going on just told me that she saw a black on my root i mean i was like how did that happened? and what do i need to do? they told me to go in the lobby and there handed me my prescription and ask me if i want to make an appointment for the root canal or do i want to be refer somewhere else and i don't think they even read my chart cause i have an allergy to penicillin...

Although I enjoyed when I went in and did a first appointment and part 1 of a deep cleaning, since then their scheduling has been very unprofessional. They were booked months in advance for deep cleanings so it was going to be almost 6 months between my part one and part two, which the dentist already advised against. The day before my part 2 appointment they called to cancel it because an employee quit. I was told via message they would contact me to reschedule ASAP. Today they called to offer an appointment at 4pm. I don't know about the rest of the world, but most of us work so that didn't work out. I called them back and asked why I wasn't given first dibs on a new appt since they cancelled my last. No explanation offered other than that they could set an appointment for September. At this point I'm not waiting months to be cancelled on again.

TLDR nice place but they suck at appointments so don't plan on them if you need anything beyond the basic appointments.

In response to your reply, I answered several calls to schedule last minute and as I told you then, I had the flu and was contagious. That didn't stop you from calling 3 days in a row. No one with a real job has the flexibility to call out hours in advance. You need to fix your staff issue and stop pointing fingers at patients trying to get the last laugh. Perhaps schedule the temporary person a week in advance so your patients can attempt to plan their life to accommodate taking time off for you.

I have basically been tortured by dentists for years. I’m not very sensitive to the medication they give you before procedures. However, my experience at.BYND DNTL Has been anything but that. My dentist was amazing! She waited to make sure that I was numb before she started any procedure. She completed quite a few procedures today and I walked out of there untraumatized which is amazing. I have more to complete procedues in the future and I’m not afraid. I hope to God this company stays in business for a very long time because I don’t trust anybody else. Dr. Patterson and her team really hooked me up!! I got 8 EMAX porcelain veneers on my top teeth. I chose the color OM3. The OM-series is translucent in nature, but still brighter and lighter than even the lightest natural tooth shade. If you are darker complexion like me and wanting something that will pop, I would recommend going with OM3. As you can see in the pictures, my teeth are very white and straight, but they don’t look fake. I chose OM1 originally when I did my temps, (None of the pictures showcase my temps), but it didn’t look very natural and because I didn’t get veneers on my bottom teeth it looked very harsh and very obvious that my top teeth were fake.

Also, in case you were curious: the shape I chose was vigorous. This is a more natural case of Vigorous because it’s not so harsh and is slightly more rounded.

In the picture I am wearing a coral outfit, you can see my shaved (prepped teeth) and you can see my natural teeth are very much still in tact. Dr. Patterson made sure to keep the integrity of my teeth and only shaved what was necessary. She made sure I didn’t walk out having shark teeth, which is something I really appreciated. There was some complications with my temps (which is why I have no pictures of them). While was waiting for my permanent veneers, my teeth were naked (I was eating and doing life normally with my shaved teeth with minimum to no sensitivity at all because Dr. Patterson kept a lot of my enamel).

Getting veneers was a one month process divided into 3 appointments. The initial appointment is them doing X-Rays and checking to make sure there is no decay. I also briefly discussed the shape I wanted (vigorous) and was able to approve the design the lab made in my second appointment. The second appointment I had my teeth cleaned, my two cavities filled, I was able to pick the color of the temps (which earlier in the post I told you I chose— OM1) Temps are essentially a test run and you get the see a glimpse of what the permanents will look like.

With that in mind, I wanted to make sure I had no regrets—so I chose the lightest color in the OM1 series. And after I saw it, I knew I needed to go two shades down (OM3) so I wouldn’t be out here in the streets looking like a highlighter. lol. I was happy with the shape I chose, but I told them to make the veneers flatter and for the color to be darker.

March 7th is the day my life was changed forever! I got my permanent teeth in. I feel so good about this decision. People in my life were saying that I had a beautiful smiles and that I didn’t need to get veneers. Trust me, I know this. Lmao. However, I knew my smile could always be more enhanced. I had a beautiful smile, but it wasn’t perfect. I knew I was never going to get braces again, so that wasn’t an option, and I wanted brighter teeth than what was natural. So, there was only one option: veneers.

I wanted brighter, lighter, and straighter and that is what I got. Also, no more white spots on my teeth. (Those were gone after she shaved down my teeth). I am in love with the shape, the color, the size. They are NOT bulky and I do NOT look like a horse. lol And I have been so much more confident. I know I look better and I feel so much better. Also, I receive compliments about my new smile, which is a plus.

This is a rebranding of Las Vegas Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, it seems, and I really like the refresh. They've moved up the street and the new location is clean and stylish, with modern equipment and a fresh, relaxing feel. I was taken in with minimal wait and everyone was friendly. Usually when you go to a hygienist, it seems like they’re going to do their thing and dig in at full force as though their teeth have always been perfect and they don’t know what it’s like to have sensitive teeth. Joy knows which areas are going to hurt and while still handling business, she is considerate with how long she spends on those areas at a time. Whether she’s been there herself or can tell from experience with clients, it is nice to know that she is looking out for you in that way

I’ve had some terrible experiences with Dental care since moving to Las Vegas. This was NOT one of them.
My hygienist was amazing and walked me through every step of the process and checked in the whole time to make sure I was ok.
She provided me with options and explained their Benifits instead of pushing me into treatments. She was kind a relatable. Her compassion helped to relieve any anxiety I had.

The Dental office BYND DNTL customer service is great. Regina the receptionist has a warm welcoming smile and makes the office a warm atmosphere. Joy is my dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth and made good recommendations to keep my teeth healthy. Dr Lawrence is great she explained the work needed to protect my teeth and the work was all done in a timely manner.

VERY SKETCHY!
I haven't ever seen any nurse/ dental assistant use their hands to hold the X-film in place. The nurse even said she knew it as dangerous but she didn't care if "I glow the dark". It took an hour for them to get them right. The dentist wanted to start cleaning my teeth the same visit and the cost was so high I asked why and they said they wanted to charge me for something I could do at home after the cleaning.

I decided then that this place has unsafe, unnecessary procedures THAT ONLY INVOLVED CLEANING AND X-RAYS!!! I can't imagine anything else.

Luckily I have another dentist I go to and something recent to compare. I wanted to see what this place had to offer and I'm staying with my regular dentist.

I also noticed most of the ratings for this place have been reviewed by one time reviewers.. this tends to be the case when customers are encouraged to rate a place by the business/dental practitioners.

This is literally the best dentist office that I have ever been to. Everybody here is great! There is a new office manager i believe her name is Isabel who is amazing and will go out of her way to help you. Dr Laurence is wonderful she wants whats best for you and is always honest and upfront.
Ive been to so many dentist here in Vegas and most of them are out for your money and nothing more. I can see something different here in a good way.

I am so disappointed in this place. My wife has gone to this office for over 10 years through several different dentists. The customer service with the latest group of staff is non existent. We spent almost 12,000 dollars on bridges and implants for me and they were unwilling to reverse a 50 dollar “no show” fee for an appointment we did not make during this pandemic. My wife was extremely upset and contacted them via Facebook. They completely ignored her and did not respond. We won’t be going back here. They are shortsighted and I hope they enjoy that 50 dollars because it’s the last they will see from us. Super disgusted. Save yourself the trouble of the terrible customer service.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PEOPLE YOUR TEETH!
I went there with NO PAIN just for cleaning, they said I need 9 fillings and a crown! I agreed! Every single tooth they filled hurts and very sensitive! But THE WORST is this “one tooth” that they FILLED 4 times already, cuz after they messed up they were trying to fix it, hurts so bad can’t even brush it, can’t touch it, can’t chew on that side at all!
So they decided to send me to “specialist” cuz dentists over there can’t do anything anymore!
BUT when i was there last day canceling everything with them I HEARD this other lady being told same things as me! SO THEY MESSING UP PATIENT’s teeth ALL THE TIME!!!

I love Dr. Burkett and her office staff! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by Brenda who is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. All of the assistants are very friendly as well and did their best to make me feel comfortable. My wife needed a filling so we went to LVCCD. This was our first and last time coming here. They were trying to push SIX crowns on her when all she wanted for now was the one filling. And this wasn't just one attempt to up-sell or misunderstanding. This was many repeated attempts at getting us to okay sending off a request to our insurance for $11,000 worth of work.

We have two teenagers needing braces in the next year or so, plus four younger children that will no doubt need dental care in the near future. Not to mention whatever work my wife and I will be needing.

By trying to push for this work we didn't want, they missed out on numerous patients and many years of business we could have brought to them.

I miss Dr. Geraldine Joiner Dentistry! Dr. Joiner's practice cared for my children's dental needs from the time they were babies until she retired. What a wonderful practice! Unfortunately, for Las Vegas Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, I cannot say the same. I was skeptical when Dr. Joiner relocated her practice to this office. I tried to adjust to the change. The new staff, new management, new policies was overwhelming. My family and I did our best to make it work. Due to a recent unprofessional and inconsiderate decision relayed to me by voicemail from Summer, the Office Manager, their office is not able to work with my son's situation stemming from an accident encountered November 2017. What a MAJOR lack of communication on this office part and a complete waste of our time! I'm positive this mishap would not have happened with Dr. Joiner's office. Her staff was always attentive to our needs. Words cannot express how disappointing this experience has left us. As of today's date, my family are no longer patients of Las Vegas Center for Cosmetic Dentistry!

I've been coming to this office for several years and today I must applaud the staff for making my most recent visit so enjoyable. From the warm welcome I received at the front desk by Summer to my pain free teeth cleaning by Eme, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and above all, caring. I previously had ortho work done and unfortunately was not pleased with the results. The team here have addressed my concerns as I move forward with my treatments. I feel reassured that all my questions will get answered and that we can work together to achieve an end result that I will be satisfied with. I feel comfort in knowing that my dental care is in this team's hands. I am pleased to say that I get to come here!

I've been coming to this location for the past 3 years. Upon my last visit one week ago, Summer, the new office manager sitting at the front desk added a completely different feel to the office. I was greeted and attended to promptly when I walked in, given an iPad to fill out all of my medical history and update new information, and was seen almost immediately after feeling out my info. Eme, my dental hygienist, was extremely gentle and cautious of causing any pain to my gums during my teeth cleaning. Seeing as I schedule my appointments every 3 months as opposed to every 6 so I can keep up with my oral hygiene my gums get sensitive. Not only was she extremely professional and took great care of me, her personality added to the experience and made me actually enjoy being at the dentist. Whatever these guys are doing, it should be bottled up and replicated at every single dentist office in the country. What a fantastic experience and such a change from what I had noticed at this location before. They've now secured a customer for Life pending the keep this staff and the level of customer service.

Dr. Burkett and Agnes are a tag team powerhouse! They are extremely talented at anything that needs to be done for your teeth. Dr. Burkett took 3 out of 4 of my wisdom teeth with complete ease given how troublesome they grew in. I highly recommend coming here for any dental needs you may have
