Had MAJOR acl and other crucial ligaments done reattached and major miniscus repair Love me Dr. Pinegar and thanks for patching me up so well...my accident was from skiing and was a MAJOR injury that took me nearly a year to walk again...lots of PT and care. Thanks DR. Pinegar! It does take a long time to get an appointment but what i would expect from the best....glad I have awesome insurance. very professional and caring. I would highly reccomend all at this office. But bewares they are busy because in my opinion they are the best!

I have been treating with Dr. Penniger for almost a year now and I couldn’t be happier. He had performed a rotator cuff surgery and it has gone better than expected. He takes the time to listen to you and he is thorough on every visit.I would not hesitate to see Dr. Penninger in the future and I would highly recommend him.

I am not one to go to this extent to complain about a medical practice but this goes way beyond. Not only am I in worse pain but the doctor is unprofessional, disrespectful, and unethical. And I wish I had known this about this provider prior to agreeing to the surgery so I feel I need to warn others, especially since I am a RN and know what true good bedside manners are.

Dr. Pinegar completed my shoulder surgery 3 months ago and I am having more pain and decreased range of motion than before my surgery and I am in PT 3 times per week too. I was told that he also reattached my torn bicep yet my insurance reviewed the MRI and said that did not need to be done because no such injury existed.

I was scheduled to see him for my 3-month f/u which he knew had to be done within the 3-month window or my insurance would not cover anymore visits; yet he refused to see me because I was 15 minutes late after traveling 55 minutes to see him because there was an accident out of my control. Another patient walked in after me who was 20 mins late for another provider but was still seen.

I have never been late for my appointments and have always had to wait over 15 minutes to be seen. There was no reason he couldn't see me as I even offered to sit at the office and wait as long as I needed to in order to get in since it was the last day in the 3-month window I could be seen and his staff told me to reschedule. I asked if Dr. Pinegar realized the predicament and the staff said yes he does but that I still needed to reschedule.

In addition, I paid over $4000 for the surgery and fees when my deductible is only $500 and my coinsurance is 10% yet the office told me I still owe $975 even though my insurance said I am owed a refund. Turns out, per the surgery center owned by Pinegar and Dr. Crovetti, that I am owed a refund yet I have to call their Nimble Billing company to receive the refund even though I paid the office directly. Makes no sense and seems sketchy.

Lastly, I referred my boyfriend to Dr. Pinegar bc another doctor in the practice completed his knee surgery but left the practice. And Dr. Pinegar proceeded to tell my boyfriend that he has new tears in his knee that would not have happened if he was the one who performed the surgery because his colleague "did a poor job". So not only is he arrogant but he is unethical too by disrespecting a former fellow colleague. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DOCTOR!!!

Seemed like a good DR. Xray on shoulder, physical therapy. The MRI, insurance needs peer to peer. Did not happen. Lost both MRI appointments. Tried calling, left messages, emailed no answered to move forward on shoulder. Staff is worthless. Shamful.
