My Oct. 6, 2026 appointment was for the abutment cap on my latest implant procedure. Everything went very smoothly. All staff members were very professional and treated me with utmost courtesy. Dr. Falk carried out the procedure flawlessly with minimal pain during and after the procedure. He is the best oral surgeon I have ever had, and that's saying a lot, since I've had a total now of six implants installed.

To start, your facility is very comfortable, with a friendly reception staff. My waiting was extremely minimal. Dr. Moody and his two assistants were friendly and informative. They answered any question I had. Dr. Moody was very professional and performed the oral biopsy surgery in a relatively short amount of time. There was no pain nor discomfort. He and his assistant provided me with oral and written follow-up instructions for care of the surgical area. Excellent experience. I was very anxious about general anesthesia this and the whole process honestly. The staff from Allen, to the nurse anesthetist to Dr Falk were so calm and reassuring. Truely amazing experience!
My 17 year old very cautious and concerned daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Faulk this summer and it could not have been a better experience. Both he and Dr Amanda (anesthesiologist) explained everything to us, made time for all our questions and eased our minds of all concerns we came in with. We felt comfortable and at ease while we waited to be told surgery was complete.

I definitely dodged a bullet with this place. I had to call four separate times just to reconfirm basic information, and every conversation seemed to create more confusion instead of solving anything.
The first time I called, I was told I needed three different X-rays that supposedly were not covered because they “didn’t take my insurance.” That made no sense considering I was originally referred there through my dentist that takes the same insurance. On top of that, they had my birthday entered incorrectly and never fixed it despite me correcting them multiple times in the same day.
Because I was told nothing would be covered, I canceled my appointment since I simply could not afford it. I thought that would be the end of it. Instead, I later received a call claiming my mom had contacted them and put me back on the schedule, which was completely false. My mom was sitting right next to me and never called anyone.
Even after canceling, they continued spamming me with text messages about the appointment I had already canceled. Every time I called, I was also told something different about the billing and how much I would supposedly owe. Nobody seemed to have a clear answer, and the constant changes made the entire situation feel extremely shady and disorganized.
At that point, it felt like they were pulling at straws just to keep me on the schedule after I had explicitly asked to be removed. The entire situation felt extremely unprofessional and honestly manipulative, like I was being pressured into keeping an appointment I already canceled.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Lying to patients and giving inconsistent billing information is completely unacceptable.

From the moment I entered the office for a consultation, through the surgical procedure (tooth extraction), Dr. Moody and his staff provided a caring and calming atmosphere. During the consultation, Dr. Moody explained what the procedure would entail, and answered all of my questions. I was provided with pre and post surgical instructions.
The preparation for the surgery was explained step by step, by the surgical assistant and the anesthesiologist, as they worked. Listening to them was calming and relaxing. I cannot say enough good things about Canyon Oral Surgery and Dr. Mooney. I went into my appointment extremely anxious. I had already cried three times before even sitting in the chair. From the moment I arrived, the team was kind, patient, and completely understanding.

Dr. Mooney thoroughly explained the entire procedure in a way that made me feel informed and reassured. Once we began, I was given nitrous and IV medications, and I was honestly amazed at how quickly I felt relaxed and comfortable. The next thing I knew, it was over.

I was sent home with clear instructions and prescriptions for post-op care. To be completely honest, it almost feels like I didn’t even have anything done. My swelling has been very minimal, and I was able to resume almost normal activities the very next day (while still carefully following all healing instructions). I feel wonderful.

If you’re nervous about oral surgery, this is absolutely the place to go. Dr. Mooney and the entire team made what I thought would be a terrible experience into something smooth, calm, and surprisingly easy. I’m so grateful for their care.

I was referred here by my dentist and when I called, they were able to get me an appointment the next morning for my wisdom teeth removal. This was great! The lady on the phone was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She said someone would call me later in the day to give me my quote from insurance. I don’t receive a phone call until after 4pm (I originally called around 10am) and the lady was complaining about my insurance company stating they were very difficult to deal with. This was so unprofessional! Your insurance worker should not be complaining to your clients about their insurance company. Since my insurance needed a pre-op authorization, my surgery was canceled and we scheduled a consultation, which was not available until 6 weeks later. The lady who called me regarding my insurance also said she would call me if there were consultation appointments that had opened up, I had told her from the beginning I only wanted to go to the Summerlin or Centennial location and I told her my availability. Once she called for a consultation appointment at the Henderson location and another time for a day and time I was not available, both things I originally stated. I waited a couple of weeks to see if there would be a cancellation at a location with a date and time I could make, there was not. I originally gave a $200 deposit for my surgery. I called to request the deposit and to cancel my consultation, and they gave it back no problem. Then three days before the appointment I had already called and canceled, I get a reminder message for my appointment! I called and left a voicemail (during their lunch break hour) requesting to cancel my appointment, once again. Imagine my surprise when 24 hours before my appointment, I get another reminder message! I had already called twice to cancel. I call 5 minutes after the reminder message is sent and the lady I spoke to during my THIRD time calling to cancel had told me it had been canceled but the appointment reminders hadn’t been stopped. How does that make any sense? Between the unprofessional insurance lady and the difficulty I experienced with canceling my appointment, I feel I really dodged a bullet by not having my surgery done here.

From the front desk to the back office everyone was so kind and caring. My daughter is 14 and when awaking from anesthesia she was visibly upset but not once did any staff tell her not to cry. Amazing experience! I came here on a referral to have my wisdom teeth removed after one became infected. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. I met with Doctor Yau who said he would be performing the surgery. He went over everything and what I can expect tomorrow, etc. I was able to have surgery the very next morning. The procedure went smoothly, and now a little over two weeks later, I’m recovering wonderfully.

I highly recommend this place! Very professional staff, a clean office, and amazing doctors who truly know what they’re doing.

Had to have upper wisdom tooth extracted and was referred to Dr. Moody by my dentist. It seemed strange that for an extraction I needed a consultation, so I made the appointment and everyone made me feel at ease. Dr. Moody came in and introduced himself and asked several questions and answered my questions.

I made an appointment for the following week. My appointment was for 8:30 AM and I arrived early for paperwork. At 8:15 I was called and escorted to the surgery room and the Doctor came in and started the procedure, first numbing the tooth and after a few minutes extracted the tooth. Other than a bit of discomfort during the numbing process, I experienced no pain and basically was done by 8:30.

The doctor follows up by email with links to video outlining what to expect during the healing process and tips for me.

All in all my experience with Dr. Moody and the entire staff surpasses my expectations and rate my experience a solid 10+.

They were amazing to my 7 year old who had an extra tooth that needed to be removed. The anesthesiologist was so great and kind. The office personnel is efficient and friendly. I was able to have my surgery done two days after my consultation with Dr. Michael Moody thanks to the lovely lady who was able to reschedule patients so that I could have my surgery done two days later. (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) The office and treatment rooms are large, not cluttered & spotless with large windows. I was a little anxious but that passed after speaking with Dr. Moody. Wow! I cannot give enough praise and thanks to Dr. Yao and his team at Canyon Oral and Facial Surgery in Henderson! I was able to get a consultation on Monday from my dentist, surgical evaluation next day with Dr. Yao, and surgery for an impacted wisdom tooth on Thursday. They accommodated my timeline as I am only in the state this week as I am a travel nurse. I did not get general anesthesia but chose sedation instead. The surgery was all over in 45 minutes and I never felt a thing! Not exaggerating. I have had very little to no pain since surgery, and it’s been over 24 hrs. I have no swelling or bruising. I was prescribed pain medication and antibiotics: Ibuprofen 600mg, Hydrocodone 5/325 and amoxicillin. Thank you to an incredible team! I’ll be ready for my long drive back to California on Saturday.
