I was traveling and had a medical issue, and the doctor at this clinic took great care of me!

Unfortunately they also charged me out of pocket at the time of the visit even though I was in-network for my insurance. I was desperate for care, so I paid, assuming I would be reimbursed. My insurance has since paid for the visit, but I have yet to receive a refund. I have called multiple times, and they have taken my information but have yet to call back. Watch out if you think you are only going to pay a co-pay here!

Dr. Burtson Katende is the first doctor I've met who truly listens, hears you, and takes the time to have a real conversation. So many appointments nowadays feel rushed, with only a couple of minutes spent with the patient. Here, Dr. Katende genuinely wanted to understand my concerns, answered my questions, and gave thoughtful advice. He is truly a doctor with a capital "D," and we are incredibly grateful for his care.

Another huge advantage is how easy it is to get an appointment. You can book online, which is surprisingly rare, and you don't have to wait three months to be seen. That alone is a huge benefit.

The receptionist at the front desk is also wonderful! Kind, welcoming, and efficient. The entire visit was smooth and completely stress-free.

I highly recommend both this clinic and Dr. Katende to anyone looking for compassionate, professional medical care!

For over a year, I have brought my family of four here for allergy shots, sports physicals, and other medical needs. Last month, I finally came in for myself when I developed shingles.

This is an excellent urgent care clinic to visit when you need prompt and professional medical attention. The check-in process was smooth, and the receptionist was very polite and welcoming. After checking in, I completed the required questions on a tablet, and she quickly took my height, weight, and vital signs.

Dr. Katende was an excellent listener and took the time to thoroughly explain his findings and treatment recommendations. He was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring.

The entire staff made me feel valued and well cared for. I highly recommend this practice and will definitely return if I need urgent care services in the future. Amazing practice!

I moved to the area a couple of months ago. I needed prescriptions bridged while I looked for permanent care. I tried this place just because it was close.

Dr. Katende has ended up being one of the most genuine physicians I have ever worked with. He actually explains everything; medically, philosophically, he makes sure you have the information you want or need. He does not rush me, no matter how convoluted my line of questioning might get.

I think it is telling that one of my favorite physicians practicing the art is in a strip mall, not a multi-million dollar capitalist abomination (local hospitals). It is amazing how little doctors can care for their patients. This is why medicine is a farce.

Scheduled a DOT physical at their Charleston location, went in and was told we would have to drive 18 miles to the Henderson location for a DOT physical. They do not specify on their website that DOT physical exams are only performed at their Henderson location.

Update: Went to Henderson to get DOT physical for my MMC, paid $100 for the physical on 5/9/2026. I later learned that a certain specific form needed to be completed instead of the DOT physical form. Went back to bring the form on 5/12/26. I was then told that I would need to pay an additional $125 for the MMC specific physical and was told by Dr. Burtson that the $100 DOT I paid for would not be refunded. That’s pretty insane because the only difference between the two physicals is ONE additional pattern test. Im not sure why I couldn’t be charged an extra $25 if there’s only one additional thing to do.

Do not go here for anything too serious. Especially for anything with a possible broken bone or sprain. You will get misdiagnosed. Go to another urgent care, or a real doc instead of wasting your time here.

I had come in because of a cycle crash. I explain what happened, and my symptoms, which was mainly my elbow and wrist. But the doc initially only wanted to look at my elbow. I guess because it had the most visible scratches. But I told him to look at my wrist too. Even so, he looked at my elbow for like 5 seconds and said it was a sprain, but would do xray anyways. I asked about wrist again, but insisted that it was likely nothing. He looked at wrist for a couple seconds. Said it was just radiating pain from my elbow. Then said, we could do a xray of wrist if I wanted, but wasn't needed. As if he was annoyed by it. But I insisted, because having broken my wrist before, and due to the nature of my crash, I felt like it was more than sprain. He finally gave in and said we would xray wrist too.

We do xray (and only a couple at that), and he says it is just a sprain, no fracture, in kind of a smug way. He just hands me a sling (as an afterthought), gives me a Rx for pain and sends me on my way.

But soon after, my wrist progresses to get worse for a couple days. I decide to go to a real doc. The doc there actually listened to me. Based on symptoms, and with plenty of xrays done right, doc there was able to diagnose me. Not only was this Urgent Care doc wrong, he was really wrong.

I have not only a broken wrist, but a broken elbow. Bit angry this doc didn't want to listen, dismissed my concerns, and because of that, misdiagnosed me. This fracture could have turned into something worse if I didn't get a 2nd opinion.

My son had a big fall on the playground, as a frantic mom I called many places to see where we could get an x ray. The receptionist who answered the phone was very informative, had answers and offered to check me in over the phone. She was very patient as I had to change my appointment time shortly after. I got there and the check in was smooth and the wait was short. Dr. Katende was cheerful and thorough. He asked my son for his version of what happened and inspected his arm and then did the x rays. NP Katende Burton FNC-P seems to be bias against African Americans . If you’re looking for a provider who cares more about his patients than money. I would advise you to run as fast as you can! On the other hand the office staff was great ! I will be filing a grievance with Anthem regarding the experience I had today. Moreover, how can a so-called doctor let a 65 year old dizzy a weak woman walk out of his office . The least he could have down was offered to call a rescue squad or checked her blood pressure. This place is a complete scam and I’m beyond angry. They forced me to sign paperwork making them my primary care provider (PCP) or they wouldn’t even see me. Dr. Katende personally told me I had nothing to worry about because my insurance — Health Plan of Nevada — has a $0 copay for primary care visits. That’s the only reason I agreed.

I’ve only been there two times, and both times, I told them at check-in that I have a $0 copay — they checked and said “okay, no problem.” No charges upfront. But later, I started getting surprise bills: $50 for my son (which I paid just to avoid issues), another $50 for him, and over $200 for me. Even if this were being billed as urgent care — which it should NOT be — they still promised I wouldn’t be charged. They lied.

When I called, I was left on hold over 30 minutes, then finally got someone who said they’d call me back. They did — only to give the usual “we’re sending it to billing” line. What a joke. This is a small office — they ARE the billing department. Total runaround.

Now they’re refusing to send my prescription to CVS, claiming they’ll do it once the “billing issue is fixed.” That’s outrageous. I told them I’m diabetic, and the lady on the phone was completely dismissive. She didn’t care at all. I tried to explain the situation and prove my point — talking to her was like talking to a wall. No compassion, no responsibility.

I’m reporting this place to my insurance, and I’m also filing complaints with:
• Nevada Division of Insurance
• Nevada State Medical Board
• Nevada Attorney General – Consumer Protection
• Office of Inspector General (OIG)
• CVS Caremark for obstruction of care
• Better Business Bureau (BBB)

This place is dishonest, unprofessional, and dangerous. They’re lying to patients, blocking essential medications, and billing people for services they said would be covered. Avoid this place at all costs.

Mr. Katende was fantastic! I was struggling with an extremely sore throat on Mother's Day, and found Care10 through a Google search. At 8am, Mr. Katende quickly diagnosed the problem and prescribed antibiotics. Three days later and feeling great. He was professional, friendly, and very good overall. Care 10 urgent care we’re really helpful to my medical needs And they’re very convenient Because regular doctors office are closed around 5 o’clock pm Care 10 urgent care is open until 8 pm And they’re open weekends The provider there is able to be your primary also not just an urgent care doctor

Very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. The Doctor was extremely patient with us, answered all of our questions, and got our treatment quickly. They have a lab on site and possibly other medical equipment as well (don't know for sure as we didn't need anything else but lab work), which made getting our treatment very fast.

I recently visited Care10 Urgent Care and had a great experience. They were extremely quick with getting me in and out, and all of my concerns were fully addressed. I originally chose this location after seeing all the positive reviews, and I’m so glad I did — I didn’t even know this place existed until now! Everything went smoothly, from making the appt online to signing in at the counter. It was a very short wait until I was called back to see the doctor. Dr. Katende listened attentively to my concerns and explained the diagnosis and prescribed medications carefully. Every few years, I have to use an urgent care facility when I can't get a timely appt with my regular doctor. This is the best overall experience I have had. I highly recommend Care10 and its dedicated staff.

Excellent Service!!!
Adraina, the nurse helped me right away when I called and told them my husband and I had been sick and wanted to see the doctor. It was Saturday morning and she got me right in.
We met Dr B. And he is awesome 👏
He took the time to listen and he examined us, took X-ray and gave me medication.
We were very impressed by his caring manner. Today Sunday we are feeling better already. We are so grateful and thankful to have had his care.
We will always come here for help!
I would recommend Care 10 urgent care services if you need help.

I came in for a cough and congestion... the nurses actually said they did not know if I could get what I needed there and may get sent to the ER down the road... I should have left then but did not have the energy to go to a different urgent care... After I was taken to what I assumed is an exam room I wondered where the sink for washing hands was as I had never seen a DR office that didn't have them... The doctor came in looked in my ear said I had an ear infection and he would not be testing me for anything because the antibiotics he was giving me for the ear infection would knock out pneumonia if that's what it was... Now I'm not a doctor but pneumonia is caused by multiple sources... It can be bacterial viral or fungal in origin... All of those are treated differently... I've had pneumonia twice both times I had the flu... So I requested a flu test... That was literally the only test he ran and it came back negative... Then he had the nerve to ask for good stars... No sir you did no tests except the one I asked for you get no good stars you are not a good doctor... I will not be back...

The staff were great humans with excellent service and care! Burtson, Chief Medical Officer, and Adriana were both kind knowledgeable and had fabulous bedside manners! They both listened to my concerns and showed compassion last night. This morning, I received a message from Amelia that I left my insurance card and driver’s license, which I didn’t know until I received her call. When I went in to pick it up, I asked to be seen again because I forgot to mention something during my initial visit regarding my symptoms as I was very tired and want to make sure I’m not contagious. Burtson said no need to check me in and was able to squeeze me in and assured me that I’m not contagious! He prescribed some medication. Much appreciated!!!

Yes! The clinic was well staffed, very clean, the wait was short, and there is a real physician who attended me, the patient. The physician took the time to explain everything in simple layman terms, making sure that I understood everything.

I brought my son to Care 10 for illness around 6:00 pm and this clinic will be my go-to urgent care from now on! Registration was simple, they keep you updated on wait times via text or by viewing the webpage. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Katende was also friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and took the time to talk with us. We didn’t feel rushed at all.

Called on Monday to see if they treated kids. Doctor picked up and set us up to come in 45 mins after the call. First time at this location, pretty clean and nice front desk. Dr. Katende saw us almost immediately on arrival and I have to say, Absolutely great with my kiddos. I read off my laundry list of complaints and he was extremely patient and listened to my concerns. After a few tests, it was confirmed one of the kiddos had the flu. All in all a great experience, clean environment, and great service. Will bring the kiddos back or myself in the future.

Nurses and doctors are supposed to help assist and heal patients. Not LIE and STEAL from them. I would never go this clinic after a friend of mines purse was stolen by the nurse on duty and when she called to get her name was DENIED the name of the doctor who “treated” her. Illegal. Unethical.
