I highly recommend this Care Now Urgent Care at W Ann Rd & Simmons location.The facility is exceptionally clean, the staff is welcoming, and the medical professionals are excellent. On my visit it was technically empty. Just me and one other person. After submitting my paperwork and getting checked in for a simple urine test I waited over 30 minutes to be called back. The restroom was disgusting.
The wait time was unacceptable for an empty urgent care lobby. I will not be returning to that location.

They told me someone is in the bathroom, which honestly sounds ridiculous. It’s frustrating when staff give you a stupid excuses instead of just being clear about the delay.

So rude first the person at the front desk, the women that took my vitals so unprofessional told me I needed to wear a mask as if I was contagious. No sympathy for the person coming in to be seen. She clearly needs to be in another field. On top of that she went out of my room and started telling her coworkers that I said she was being mean which I did. Went here in Dec of 24. I HAVE INSURANCE! For the last 20 months I have been going round and round with CareNow trying to get them to actually correctly submit to my insurance. Well they waited to long and I got stuck with nearly a $1100 bill for 6...SIX stitches. All because this place could not figure out how to submit correctly to the INSURANCE COMPANY. My INSURANCE COMPANY contacted them over a half dozen times telling them how to submit correctly and they still could not figure it out.

I checked in online..gave me a time so I went there. When I got there they stated that they sent the front desk to lunch and no one knew what to do. Waited for over 45 minutes longer. On the site, it found my file but asked to upload pictures of my DL and insurance, tried numerous of times and it kept taking me back to the beginning.. it even asked for my secondary insurance which I also have. I have asked the lady that sat at the front on how much longer and she said around 10 minutes and that was around the 45 minute mark.
When she came back and called me.. there was no thank for being patient or anything. Just sign this as we have your insurance on file so I gave her a copy of my secondary insurance and filled out the paper as well and signed and she took a copy and gave me my copay amount and I questioned... then she says "oh, we only charge the 1st insurance". So why in the world does the site ask along with the paperwork as its very misleading as well. Not a very good experience there today.. knowing that I couldn't get in to my doctor's maybe next time I will do online as I wouldn't have waited this long.
Went into the back.. was given a cup then the PA came in and asked my symptoms and then asked if I want a paper discharge or text so I told her and nothing until the other person came in stating rat they sent my prescriptions to my pharmacy..what an experience

I was nervous about having to go to the urgent care, after my primary care physician suggested because of lack of appointment availability, especially because I had no child care and brought my 5 and 1 year old. The front desk gal Brooklyn was so kind and patient; I was beyond impressed watching her navigate a interaction with another patient yelling of insurance frustrations. Bianca was the sweetest nurse and Eddie gave me incredible care. I felt listened to and supported trying to figure out a diagnosis and treatment. This was my second visit, but first for my injury. In both cases, the staff was professional and pleasant. Tenicka got me swiftly through the check-in process (I was a walk in), and Christena handled my medical history and issues thoroughly. PA Budge efficiently diagnosed my injury and treatment. The whole process took less than an hour, just like the first visit with my wheelchair bound husband. I hope not to need it, but I’m glad it’s there.

Came here for a sports physical and the doctor did not fill out the only paper needed in the schools packet. Was told I would need to come back in as that provider is not available today. Was also told that I would not have to wait to be seen once coming back in only to be waiting for over 20 minutes to be taken to another room to wait even longer. Do not recommend. (Front desk/management were kind but the situation is absurd) To be told we would be seen right away upon returning and having to wait so long is extremely aggravating after already having to come back in for a mistake on their end.

Went in today at 8am on 2-10-25 for Gout and Tendonitis pain. Fast friendly check in at the front desk. And professional and awesome experience with both females nurse and doctor who were on duty at the time. I immediately Got 2 shots in the hips area and 2 prescription meds for pain and swelling. My older daughter told the nurse she struggles to swallow pills and then the doctor came in and said why are you here if you’re refusing service. She wasn’t refusing services she just said she has problems with taking pills. Instead of attacking her and saying she’s refusing services maybe see what’s happening ask questions don’t just assume. I took my son into the facility today because he wasn't feeling well and complained of his ear hurting. So l decided to take him here even though he didn't really want to go. My son is 18. And because he is 18 when it came time for him to go back to the exam room the medical assistant Elizebeth M. told me I wasn't allowed back only the patient is. Now when I explained to her that isn't right because you never even gave him the option to allow me back, AND I literally just watched an older couple leave from the room and walk out the building. She relied well that wasn't my patient. So it made me feel like the staff thinks they can arbitrarily decide who and when to let family back with the patient. (Which isn't right to treat people like that). The important thing for me is I wanted to ensure my son didn't down play how he felt and wanted to explain that he had a tube in his ear that recently got removed, he has been sleeping all day, esc. On top of the fact that although 18 he literally just turned 18, I am the insurance carrier on him, he lives with me, I paid his co-pay, and his father. And when I explained this to the Medical assistant she acted as if it's company policy not to let other family in the room with the patient. When I informed her I would like to make a complaint she explained to me that it's ok "I'Il let my supervisor know too" she said it as if the supervisor wouldn't care and or would believe her over me. (Supervisors name is Jalisa).
Overall I know I need to allow my son to be an adult and or begin to do adult things. But that isn't the point. They could have asked him. "Hey your 18, we are required to ask if it's ok for your dad to come back, and if he would have said no then I would have been ok with that BUT they didn't. They literally made the decision for him and he is still young enough to not say anything even if he did want me to go back with him and that's the part that frustrates me. Furthermore it seems like the medical assistant told the nurse practitioner of this whole debacle because then she came into the room and provide subpar service and acted like she was in a rush. (Although we've had her before and she wasn't very good then either, Dr. Budge is amazing but the NPA shouldn't even be responsible for patients). All in all it was a bad experience.

We usually love this office, the male DR. Listens to you and really tries to find a solution. But lately this has been my 3rd time with the NP (lady) she is terrible! It feels like we are an inconvenience. My son just left there and was told nothing was wrong, so i took him to sunrise and i was right! He has a double ear infection. She has ZERO bedside manner! I have notice she is there on the weekends! I hope she gets send somewhere else!

I rarely ever post a review, however the Dr (I wish I remembered his name) was outstanding! He spent the time on my medical history to prescribe the best medicine for my condition.
It works very well so far and I’ve had the issue for over 6 years now.
Of course the lady who works the desk has also been very understanding recognizing medical issues I have. Nurse assistant of can’t forget her, sweetheart! Thanks 🙏 everyone!!!

Considering I have frequented this urgent care and have specifically made suggestions and referrals to coworkers, family and friends; I would hope you take this seriously. Please don’t have people @ your front desk sitting at reception on their break and unable to check someone in. Waited almost an hour after coming from an EMPTY waiting room. The concern of very high blood pressure and neck pain was not addressed as urgent. I had to listed to Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Fu Fighters at a very uncomfortable level of volume. I asked for a refund of my copay and was told it was too late. The nurse practitioner did not seem confident in his explanation and was I felt dismissive after his suggestion to go to emergency. I will not be back!!! I will be calling the manager on Monday (which the lady @the front who was on her break previously) was so gracious to give me to express my distain for the events of this evening.
