This officd is great! Compared to other dentists I’ve been to over the years, Dr. Salazar spends a lot of extra time checking things out thoroughly. The imaging and tech tools are top notch and augments the care beyond the standard check up and cleaning experience. The admin process is painless and easy as well (insurance processing, paperwork, scheduling, etc.) . I really appreciate a well-run practice that provides a smooth experience and excellent care every time, and this is definitely one of those places.

TLDR; They overdiagnose you to sell you treatments you don't need. Go somewhere else and if you've been seen here, get a second opinion. See all the other 1 star reviews, they're all saying the same thing.

I am updating my review. I was a patient here for 2 years (24-26). I was diagnosed with peridontitus with deep 7mm pockets, I was also recommended to have my wisdom teeth removed.

I was told that I would need a peridontal cleaning that was $250 out-of-pocket, after insurance, every 3 months. After 2 years of treatments I changed jobs and insurance. During this time I hadn't seen a dentist im roughly a whole year.

Since I changed insurance providers, I went to a new dentist closer to home. I was informed I do not have peridontitus, my deepest pockets are 4mm, and my wisdom teeth do not need to be removed. I only need standard cleaning every 6 months, which are completely covered by my insurance, and if I did need peridontal cleaning it would only be $90.

I feel completely taken advantage of and misled by this practice. I would recommend anyone who is being seen here get a second opinion.

Avoid this place at all costs. Dr. Salazar ruined my moms life. Telling her to remove all teeth’s in her 60’s. Then telling her to get screws. Therm telling her that she needs to add bones for that. Literally a six figure job.
They did the same to me! Telling me to get surgery again and again. After I already added bones, then telling me do it again!

I've been coming here for about four years now, and I genuinely can't say enough good things about this office and the people who work here. Before finding them, I had gone far too long without seeing a dentist and needed quite a bit of work done. From the very beginning, everyone has been incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, and I've never once felt judged or uncomfortable about the condition of my teeth or how long I had put things off.

Over the years, they've helped me get everything back on track, and every experience I've had here has been great. The dentists, assistants, hygienists, and front office staff are all friendly, professional, and genuinely seem to care about their patients. They do a great job explaining what's going on, answering questions, and making something that most people don't exactly look forward to as easy and comfortable as possible.

After four years and a whole lot of dental work, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist, especially if you've been putting off dental work and are nervous about finally going back. You'll be in good hands here.

I've had more than my share of dental work over the years.
I was scheduled for some dental surgery which could have been a very painful problem due to the tooths degradation. The Periodontist scheduled to do the procedure was doctor Jeff Wang; DMD, MS.
He explained everything clearly and how the procedure would go.
To my total surprise I did not once experience any pain at all a very first time for me.
I cannot thank him enough.
The medications were sent immediately to my pharmacy.
End of day one no pain. End of day two no pain. End of day three still no pain.
Thank you doctor Wang....I finally got a great Periodontist.

While ago I had my teeth chipped. Dr. Salazer fixed it, and he did an excellent job. Overall employees are friendly. I haven't been here for a while.

I returned here on May 17, 2024. Ate hot food and had little burn on my mouse. Nothing serious, should have fixed by itself within a week or two. My last visit was Sept 18, 2025.

During that 16 months period, I spent $2310, not including yearly fee for dental discount.

I don't have major issue with my teeth, no cavities, mainly cleaning. First they recommend deep cleaning, probably not necessary, but will heal quickly, so I went for it.

When I return 3 months later for cleaning, they add something top of cleaning, and said supposed add after deep clean (cleaning$$$ + add on$$$)? I still don't know what that add on is until this day. When I went back every few months for cleaning, they constantly add on every other visit that are not necessary. It took about 15 minutes doing both (only few minutes more for add on).

Last visit for cleaning, hygienist seems to be irritated after I told the front desk I didn't want add on besides cleaning. I had few dentists previously since I moved around including other states, and never had these issues.

Dr. Salazer is skilled and honest, however.

Have been coming here for years and will not come back. Last 2 visits were awful, 1 time got forgotten in a room in the back of the office, person I came with had a later appt and finished before me this is how I knew I got forgotten, I waited a while longer and then just left... I come in regularly and have always good check ups (I am very particular about my teeth) this last time was told by the hygienist I needed a deep cleaning and if I didn’t do it they wouldn’t see me. When I questioned the hygienist she became rude and defensive. Thought this was weird and felt very aggressive and kind of predatory. Got a second opinion elsewhere and got another clean bill of health on my teeth and was actually complimented on how I cared for them, the new office told me some dentists offices use deep cleanings as a revenue generator sometimes whether the patient actually needs it or not…

I love the care I get from the entire staff. Brody is absolutely amazing with my sons. Hes very friendly and attentive. He explains everything to you and always has a kind or reassuring word when things seem scary. Hes a great asset to their team.

I was looking for a trusted dental office somewhere near home and asked for referrals from close friends. Out of the many, I chose CMD after hearing good reviews. From the moment I walked in and finished up, it was nothing short of a great experience. I’m usually pretty nervous when going to the dentist but felt very comfortable here. Cynthia did my X-rays and assisted Dr. Le with my filling as well as cleaning. They listened to my concerns, helped me with feeling comfortable during the numbing process, and had a few good laughs too.

Information:
Upon going over my chart and all the recommendations, the doctor and his staff were very open to explaining the details and teaching me ways to have a healthier mouth at home. Nidia is the front desk manager and she talked me through all my financial options. She was patient and very helpful with finding the right plan for my needs.

Overall, I highly recommend Centennial Modern Dentistry to anyone who is looking for a welcoming and professional office and most importantly…listens to your concerns, making you feel good about going to the dentist.

We love Centennial Modern Dentistry. My husband, son, mother-in-law and I have been going there for years. Dr. Salazar is awesome! He is not only a great dentist, but he is also a nice person and always explains everything so that it is easy to understand. Brody, the x-ray tech is so sweet. He remembers all of his patients and is very respectful and knowledgable. Also, Nidia at the front desk is amazing! She has helped us understand so many weird billing issues and different procedures. We are lucky to have found this office and are so thankful for the wonderful care we have received.

one of the best dental office ever! it was the end of the day but everybody was still very nice, from the admission ladies, to Dr Le, and tanya.. they were all super amazing! The staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. They were able to fit me in for a broken mil filling that lead to a crown. The Dr. Was on point and they make the crowns in office so no waiting and coming back. The overall experience was better than expected. Another perk they are open 7 days a week. I had to come back again and Brody was on point.

Dr. Salazar saw me last week wasn’t too happy after the initial check up, he had his treatment Cordinator come in and explain a complete different set of procedures that the Dr had recommended. But the worst part is during the probing or check up of the gums he also pokes several times at the inside lining of my mouth check causing me to have several canker sores not only did he poke too hard at the gums I went to my regular Dr because two days after the visit with Dr Salazar I fell in a high fever and chills for days turns out what ever infection I had on my gums he poked out and ran down my throat causing a completely unwanted infection in my body. As for me this is the worst “dentist” I ever been seen by. Definitely won’t be going there again or to the appointment they suggested, worst practice in my opinion.

I came as a new patient for a cleaning. . and HONESTLY HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE....depsite a deep cleaning... I was laughing half the time at our casual conversations. Dr Salazar, what an incredible dentist, patient, fun to chat with and I felt like my dental health was truly being taken care and clearly explained to me. I was greeted with the best energy at the front desk ( I disnt get their name...but so sweet and welcoming..and cool!) and even elevated with my X ray with Brody, he set the tone for a great back office vibe, so funny, cool and easy going... Seriously I've never had more fun with a squad at a dentist office!I want to bring my kids here even though it's not Pediatric I know this stuff would make them feel so welcome, comfortable and taken care of.

To start with they screwed up our appointments, including double booking, causing us to have to schedule a different time and day, and second couldn't spell my name correctly, even after spelling it for them.

Once at the dentist they were pushy to of course get the extra money that the insurance doesn't cover, they explained that a deeper cleaning was required when I just had my teeth cleaned 6 months ago at a different location and the dentist stated that my dental hygiene was perfect. Rude and unprofessional at a whole new level!

I’ve never felt so unworthy of a dental office. They’ve made me feel cheap and embarrassed.

I called for an emergency appointment regarding a broken tooth, they scheduled me for 2pm. I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Then waited another 30 minutes in the chair before I was seen by the dentist. The dentist was pushing me towards veneers and crowns. I stated they’re out of my budget, and would like the filling replaced. She sends in an employee to talk to me about cost. That employee has mocked up the price for veneers and crowns. Unsurprisingly it’s $3000+, I sheepishly explain I can’t afford that. I noticed the cleaning appointment was going to cost me $235 out of pocket. I asked what a few of the fees were for, the employee said they couldn’t discuss such things with me and would need to wait for a dentist to explain the procedures. She leaves me to wait for the dentist. 15 minutes pass, the screen in front of me has the $3000 worth of services I can’t afford. I felt embarrassed and instead of waiting any longer for the dentist, I decided to walk out.

It was humiliating. I couldn’t stand to go back to a place like this.

I pride myself on my teeth, I usually have excellent relationships with my dentists. This is the ONE exception.

Horrible service. I have insurance and they did not want to provide me cleaning services that my insurance pays for but quoted me $16,000 worth of services that I would pay cash for that of course my insurance doesn’t cover. I will be reporting them to the BBB. All these reviews are fake.
