Dr.Park, along with his exceptionally courteous, and concerned Staff diligently performed many of the diagnostic measurements, and tests needed for a successful cataract surgery. There were some surprises though with the scheduling, location, and most of all change of Provider for my scheduled surgery. So my confidence remains with this wonderful group of professionals to help restore my vision by improving clarity, depth and contrast. I went to this facility today 6-18-2026 and was impressed with everyone except on my way out was greeted by a young man doing the scheduling! This young man was rude and seemed like he couldn't be bothered! I needed to get a prescription for glasses plus sign a form to release records from my previous Dr and make another appointment to be seen! He had me sign the release form for my records and said you're all set in a gruff tone of voice! I told him I am not all set I need my prescription to get some glasses and make another appointment! He was clearly not happy that he had to help me further! Seriously if you don't like your job, you should find another where you won't disrespect the patients! I hope I don't have to deal with him in the future he was awful!

Alena the rep here is very rude. She talked down to me was snappy and could not find history of my last visit. She’s in the wrong business of caretaking. Other than her attitude pretty racist and disrespectful the company docs and staff are a 10/10. One person ruins it for the company. That’s sad. She is challenging me telling me that I never came on that date. Well, I kept insisting I did and she shut me down I like people, but I don’t like people forcing themselves to work in an organization where they have little unknown insight as to customer service.! I was referred by an excellent optician to Dr Park and Dr Song, DAE. Sometimes it’s hard to get Dr Park on the schedule and I end up with rude reps. The other who has an attitude is Doctor Parks staff who helps him. He’s white around mid 30’s. He was nice once second time he got off from the wrong side of the bed. Golly these techs all they do to get a job little do they realize we pay their paycheck. And the only reason they are sitting there is because they have good experienced docs.

Staff and Doctor were kind and professional, however, the pricing policy is ridiculous! First, I was charged for the office visit, then, upon leaving, I was charged another(separate) fee for the exam and tests. But the worst part was when I seen the Dr. (for all of about 3 minutes) and I was told my vision had significantly worsened and need glasses....AND, would need to pay $60.00 to obtain the prescription. WOW, what the heck was the eye exam for if I couldn't get the final prescription, or any results for that matter. Unfortunately, I could not afford the additional charge so will have to wait for the prescription and go without glasses for now. Really disappointed.

I had symptoms of either yeast infection or u t I i didn't want to go to urgent care because it is now forty dollars instead of ten. The Girls that took care of me were so genuine. I ended up getting a call that they had to cancelation.And I got in. I am so grateful to them for that. I am at Walgreens right now, getting my medication.And I am so glad because I feel so crappy. I was referred to Center for Sight specifically Dr Licina. I had seen several other doctors, however none took the detailed time to really look into why my vision had changed so quickly after 20years of the same prescription... tests were VERY EXPENSIVE (everything had a high charge) but worth her hand holding to get to a solution... finally! Staff was super kind too!

My low rating is due to the path to surgery. Every visit I was told something different for requirements of prep, insurance coverage, clarity of total costs, scheduling. I asked many questions, and was told different answers at different times for several of them by a few employees. Impacting my prep time, scheduling of surgery, leaving work etc. Creating a frustrating scenario.

Staff was excellent and the service of Adams was outstanding. I had an appointment for the diabetic eye retinopathy test conducted by Dr. Steward Park. His service was very unprofessional. He did not presented him self, went right down for the test and didn’t explained in detail the findings. The consult time was about less than 2
minutes. I did tell him that my past physician found some exudates on my left eye and he didn’t discussed any of that. At the end they charged me 60$ for getting my new glasses prescription that is ridiculously pricey.

Dr. Lucina conducted an examination as requested by my primary care physician. During the exam, she determined that I was developing another eye condition that would have caused serious problems, possibly blindness. I had a very disappointing experience at Center of Sight Henderson due to the unprofessional behavior of one of the staff members, She raised her voice at both the front desk and me, openly questioning why I didn’t attend my appointment despite my eye pain. Her behavior was uncalled for and made me feel uncomfortable as a patient.

I understand that appointments are important, but life is unpredictable, and unexpected situations happen. Instead of being understanding, response felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was simply trying to reschedule, yet I was met with unnecessary attitude.

A medical facility should be a place where patients feel supported, not judged. Professionalism, courtesy, and respect should be the standard for every staff member. Patients come seeking care, not confrontation.

Aside from this, the clinic itself is well-maintained, and the rest of the staff were kind and professional. However, someone’s behavior left a very negative impression.

Just so you know, your staff member was extremely rude and unprofessional. I hope management addresses this issue so that no other patient has to go through the same experience.

I had an appointment for some tests and for a glasses prescription. I explained the past 2 times I have had prescriptions and bought glasses I saw better without the glasses. I had my eyes checked by someone other than the doctor and when the doctor came in to see me she wanted to check herself just to make sure I received a correct prescription. She said she would see me in one week and I advised my insurance probably won't cover the appointment and she told me they wouldn't charge me. I called two days later and inquired if I would be charged for the second appointment because if I would I would need to cancel because I already paid for my co-pay the first appointment. I was assured I would not be charged. When I went in for the appointment the front desk assured me I would not be charged. Well low and behold I received a bill for double what my co-pay was. I called about this and was told since I had insurance they had to bill me. Needless to say I will not return! I was disappointed with the dishonesty.

The staff at Center for Sightʻs offices provide friendly, professional patient care by phone or in person. Dr. Par is the Best of the Best Doctor. My son needed surgery to replace an ocular lens hinges that broke off in my sonʻs eye that left him in pain and nearly blind. The surgery was successful and my son is healing and soon will have his vision back. My son really likes Dr. Par and trusted him to do the surgery. We are both very thankful to Dr. Par. It’s an amazing facility. The lobby was extremely clean & bright with seating to accommodate those who needed space to feel comfortable with some wearing masks.
After filling out the forms I was taken back by a Technician who did some preliminary tests before seeing the

7-25-25, this last week, appt with Dr. Pernula. Fast service, I was early for my appointment but waited only minimally to be called back for my exam. The technician was pleasant and very thorough, knew my case/history, extremely well, and was able to do her tasks expeditiously. Dr. Pernula was as always, professional, pleasant, and thorough, he is quite the example of what a physician needs to be, a good doctor, and a genuinely nice person as well. We moved to Las Vegas in 2018. My husband & I were referred to Center For Sight by our PC doctor in 2019. The clinic is nice and clean each time we go there. The staff is very professional and greet each patient entering the door. The receptionists are quick to check in patients. Wait times are very reasonable about 10-15 mins before the technician calls on you. Dr. Giang is young, courteous, kind and answered all my questions regarding cataracts and surgery since I’m at the early stages. He put my mind so at ease. Thank you Dr. Giang.

The Henderson office personnel are friendly and each person had their job to do and they did it efficiently and professionally. The Lady Doctor was very thorough in checking the health of both my eyes when I only had questions for the one side. As a new patient of Center For Sight, i was only modestly hopeful for a positive outcome. My hopes, my expectations were exceeded ten fold.
My initial visit was on my primary care physician's referral. Needless to say, I was apprehensive. My fears were were eliminated as I was offered an appointment for the very next morning. Wow, was I astonished at the professionalism and ease of that process.
The next morning, i waited no more that 5 minutes to be welcomed in. Again another wow. Usually, waiting room waits can exceed 30-45 minutes. I was escorted directly to the first of 3 different eyesight technicians. Each one stated clearly what was going to take place. Each of those people were highly professional and made me feel like I was their very valued client.
The entire visit rendered all the information about my vision issues and future possibilities. I can fully recommend all of the people at Center For Sight. They are now my go to opthalmologist center.

The Center For Sight is not the same place that I went to three or four years ago. Not only has it moved and it’s much nicer to look at, but I didn’t feel like a herd of cattle being passed through. The experience was pleasant, they were on time, and the eye doctor Dr Liang was very good explaining, and showing me what my problem was in my eye. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
I must add one negative though and it’s not about the doctors. If anyone is considering getting one of those expensive lenses for cataracts that costs $4500 and think that you’re not going to need glasses later, think again! I thought my vision would be set and now I need glasses again two years later.. And my vision for reading has gotten worse. So now I need glasses for distance and reading. I feel like I should’ve just done the traditional cataract surgery.

I was referred to Center for Sight for a problem that had popped up days earlier. No one seemed to know what was going on, no one wanted to see me to find out nor did they care. I’m talking about my Optometrist that I deal with yearly.
The entire staff at Center for Sight, from person handling the initial phone call to the tech to the MA to the Doctor to the checkout staff was wonderful. Very professional and thorough. I was so impressed. They kept me informed and answered any questions I had. I not only found out what was wrong, but it was explained in detail.

A shoutout to the most pleasant, efficient and courteous staff at The Center for Sight on Coronado Center Drive in Henderson, NV, for their extensive testing on my eyes in preparation for cataract surgery. And today I had that surgery on my left eye (they do one eye at a time). I have to say I’m most grateful for the eye surgeon, Dr. Michael Pernula, and the wonderful staff at The Center for Sight Surgery Center. . Everyone, including the receptionists, were so eager to please and made me feel so comfortable in preparation for the surgery upon my arrival. Together they all are a well-oiled machine. The surgery was so successful I’m already seeing the brightest of colors instead of the dark yellow hue that has shaded everything my vision has been accustomed to seeing. I’m looking 👀 forward to having the surgery on my right eye in the near future, and I am so grateful for these blessings.

Staff at the study are rude. Have no facility to complete study for the handicapped. They expect handicapped people to walk up steep steps into a truck to watch a video to check dry eye symptoms and won’t allow for accompany person to assist. First they keep you waiting unattended for an hour and after waiting there 5 hours tell you it is too late to continue with the trial. I am a handicapped woman in a wheelchair and after waiting 5 hours they expected me to walk up those steep stairs and wouldn’t allow my husband who was there for the study as well go with me to help me up the stairs. They said we had to go at different times. My appointment was before his but they wanted him to go first. I told them in advance that at 3:00 I had an appointment with my kidney specialist and was told it was no problem. So at 3:00 when my doctor was about to call they said it was time for me to go into that truck. They wanted my husband to go in the truck first which would leave me without any help. He refused to go without me so they threw us both out and said we may not even get paid for traveling 20 miles to get to them. They are unscrupulous uncaring people. No one should participate in their study unless they like being abused

Been going to Center for Sight for a number of years now. They have a lot of doctors, so if you don't like one you can get another. I have had no issues with the ones I have had. The staff are very friendly, especially Gabby at the Henderson, NV office.

Be careful to check if the office accepts your insurance provider!
I made an appointment as a new patient and sent a copy of my
insurance card prior to my appointment. When I arrived on the day
of my appointment I was told by the receptionist that they do not
accept my insurance. There was a note to contact me to let me know
that. But no one called! Be sure to get a verbal confirmation that they
accept your insurance in order to avoid being in my situation that could have been avoided if the staff had been more efficient!

My 87 yr old mother uses this place as it is in her insurance plan. Today she gets there, waits a while, get called to the desk and they tell her since she has be a new Dr she needs a referral. They could’ve called her a home but they did not. 2 week prior she gets there and is told the Dr is not in today. That’s why she had today’s appt. WTH? Elderly do not need to be on the roads. I do not recommend this place, however they must take all insurance so most people have no choice. 4 nurses sit at the front desk, but they can’t call to cancel you. SMH.

I was impressed starting with the reception, then the tech who was very thorough, and lastly with Dr. Pernula. Everything went smoothly! They were all pleasant, professional, answered all my questions. Staff and Dr. Pernula were very patient oriented and respectful! I am a senior on Medicare, so had cataract surgery and retina detachment several years ago and hadn’t been to an eye doctor since 2020, so just wanted to check up due to some irritation. As it turned out, allergy pollen was the culprit. At least now I can rest assured after seeing Dr. Pernula that my eyes are “All Good!” ( I believe he assured me more than once) I was lucky to have found Center for Sight, lucky they accept Medicare and extremely lucky to have found such a thorough and pleasant Opthamologist, Dr. Pernula! I’ve been taking my elderly parents who have limited English skills to Center for Sight for years. They both had their cataracts replaced through the doctors here, their annual check ups and recently my fathers droopy eye lid surgery.

The front office is run super efficiently (appointments, confirmations, follow ups) and staff super friendly (All of them are nice, but especially Edith who always has a warm smile and tries to be extra helpful).

The technicians are for the most part very friendly, respectful of elders, patient (cause most of their patients are slow moving, and often hard of hearing). Over the years, there have been a few who were a little rough around the edges, but I haven’t seen them more than once. I think the office manager takes patients experience very seriously.

The doctors are wonderful! Especially Drs. El-Mansouri and Jousi. We’ve had consultations, check ups and surgeries through many of the doctors at this practice and can say these two doctors are truly the best!

My annual eye Appt at Center for Sight was an awesome experience with the friendliest staff I've dealt with in a very long time. The young Lady checking me in had a smile on and was very pleasant, EVEN BEFORE 8am. Check in was quick with no complications . The first tech to call me back was right on time with my scheduled appr and offered pleasant conversation and was very patient walking to the room as I use a walker..The second tech was just as pleasant. The tech working directly with the doctor performed testing very competantly and added notes for the doctor regarding family history. Etc. Then came Dr Tina. . Testing went smoothly with a new prescrition added and discussion of current eye condition.. My Appt was a wonderful experience and all staff should be commended for their professionalism! The woman who was taking down all of my information when I went back into the doctor's office and who performed the eye exam was pretty rude. She told me I had to drastically change my life, and she said I looked exhausted and was very judgemental towards me. This was all over a neurological eye condition I have, by the way. I was not rude to this woman so I don't know why she was acting this way towards me, perhaps she didn't like my face, maybe she was having a rough day at work, I don't know, but it made me very uncomfortable. The actual doctor who I saw after I had photos of my eyes taken was much nicer. She seemed very knowledgeable, and she took her time explaining to me what my problem was.

5 stars are not nearly enough.
One day, out of nowhere, I started to see flashes in my right eye, then a bunch of floaters. Talk about being scared! When I went into the Center for Sight they took my situation very serious. Everyone was so friendly and gave me super clear answers to what was going on. Here is what impressed me the most. One of the young ladies working the front desk went well beyond what she need to do. She started calling around for an emergency appointment for my eye at 4:56 and did not give up right at 5:00 pm. She got me into a location to finally receive surgery. There is NO DOUBT that this location helped to save my eyesight. Thank you.

While the staff and doctors are friendly and professional, what ruins my experience with this company is their billing procedures. I invariably get a bill for an extra $25 about 3 weeks after my visit for some obscure test that was never mentioned while I was in their office.

While the amount is small, I feel that if this is standard procedure with every patient this borders on fraud. I verified with EVERY staff member on my last visit that there would be no additional charges, yet I STILL received a bill yesterday for an additional $25. UNACCEPTABLE!

I had to call to get this fee removed, when it should never have been charged in the first place. If my HMO gave me other options to choose from, I would never return here.

I will never return here. They did it to me again. This is nothing but outright fraud! I have spoken to the office staff repeatedly, but they still insist on billing me the additional $25. Outrageous.

Made an appointment for my husband. He wants to have his lasik enhanced. They are quite responsive and got back to me very quickly. The only thing they are interested in is insurance and how you are going to pay. The call center person was really not smart. They chose the wrong person to give a first impression. It was so bad! I did my best to explain but it wasn’t easy. She finally said she would have someone call. Next thing I know, they text me about insurance. I have insurance. Eye exams are covered , lasik or lasik enhancements are not. I’ve had this insurance for years and have been seen by multiple doctors without issue until this place. I finally said I would pay cash for the medical exam (I know the lasik will be out of pocket) Anyway , long story short, we cancelled the appointment. There are so many eye doctors in the area that were so easy and pleasant. I’m so happy we didn’t keep this appointment.

Scheduled appointment weeks ago, told less than 24 hours before appointment that they "don't do contacts or eye glasses," so changed the appointment to a lasik consult. Waited for over an hour during appointment, to be told the doctor who does consults wasn't there... Then was told minutes later they could do the consult... Waited another ten minutes, then got my copay refunded. Scary to think how disorganized a place like this could be and give so much misinformation to patients. Really sad.

Only complaint is the wait time. That is absolutely not necessary to have your patients wait that long! I went with my mom and from 10am to 12pm she never saw a doctor. I had my husband there to be there for her, I had to get back to work. How can they do that to their patients that had surgery the day before. I was very satisfied with the outcome of my cataract surgeries. Dr. Pernula was professional and explained each step in detail to me. The staff and other doctors I saw were great.

Very disappointed today. My left eye is tearing and I wanted to see the Dr about it. In the exam room I was told that I MUST get dialated before I could see him. I had a severe reaction to this last time and did not want to go through that again. So, I asked if I could refuse, she said no. I then asked if I could consult with him and no examination, she said no. She said it’s their policy, no dialation, no consultation, no exam. When will patients be allowed to participate in making decisions about their own care? These people don’t care about my “allergic” reaction or not. I think this is not what a medical facility should be about. Since when can’t I talk to a Dr. if I’m paying full price? Aren’t Dr suppose to be about helping people? Just terrible!!!

I have to say that my experience here was amazing. I went in to have Lasix done about a month ago at Center for Sight. I figured I would do a review that entailed my entire experience from pre-op to surgery day and also my post op appointment.

First off, the off staff is amazing. They are all very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. As well as more then willing to help you out as best they can. Second, Dr. Liang is amazing. You can tell right off the bat that she isn't like the typical doctors who just want to get in and out of the room. When I met her for my consult for the first time, she was very friendly, and reassuring. She explained what the procedure entailed as well as what to expect afterwards. It was nice to know what was going to be done in detail as well as what to expect afterwards.

The day of the procedure, I was really nervous, but again the entire staff was very friendly and reassuring as well as comforting. I think this really helped out when it came time to lay down and get the surgery. Jodi was very caring and friendly. She made sure that I was doing ok. You could really tell she cares about the patient and also their well being and wants to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I feel like that is very important since this procedure has to do with your eyes. Also during the procedure, Dr. Liang explained to me every second of the way what she was about to do, when she was about to do it and when it was done. They made the experience one that was very easy and pleasant.

For my post op, the staff again was very friendly and caring. They all asked me how I was doing and how I was enjoying my new found sight. Dr. Liang was very through about the examination and was more than willing to answer any question and address my concerns.

I am one month out of surgery and this was the best decision I made. The whole not having to look for my glasses every morning, and fight to put my contacts in all the time or worrying about them falling out is amazing. If you are looking to get Lasix done by true professionals, by people who actually take the time to treat you like a person and not a number I HIGHLY recommend Center For Sight.

Medical consultant did not explain thoroughly all charges. After 2 months after my laser and cataract removal I received additional bills for anesthesiologist, and other bills. So disappointing for a patient with limited budget. What they advertised is just a tip of all expenses.

I was there about three weeks ago and have been pondering about my experience during my appointment and if I even wanted to share about that day.
Keep in mind I have a follow up appointment in about six months and I know what ever I say here is not confidential, so they will know who said it. ​
For the most part the office staff and personnel were professional and courteous. If I had to describe my non-personal opinion it would be this, the office and how they handle you seems less like a Doctor office and more like the DMV. You never stay with one person for more than five minutes, and it is exam one, waiting room, exam two and waiting room, picture of eye and waiting room and then for about five minutes the Doctor sees you and you are done. I met so many staff members that day (my first appointment BTW) that I can't even remember a name (or face, but everyone had a mask on because of well you know). But it is their system and it seems to work for them.
Now for the personal complaint........
I am a short man, about 5 foot tall, and for most of my life I get mistaken as a female, even though I was born male....always have been always will.
There have been many times I was told I am entering the wrong restroom, because they think I am a female, and of course I get called Miss many times, by cashiers, or waiters and or waitresses, and or the likes.
It has gotten to the point that unless it is important I don't correct people anymore, and avoid using the restroom unless I really really have to.
So what does this have to do with my visit to Center For Sight. When I signed in they took my name, keep in mind it is Michael and I had a referral. Then I was called up to the front desk to get the paper work to fill out, but to make it "easier" they (I guess the receptionist) already have sections filled out for you....I guess based on the info they already have.
Under the gender section it said FEMALE......maybe a mistake but given my history I have my doubts.
I asked her about it, and she said sorry and told me I could just cross it out and put the correct answer, which would be MALE. Funny thing is on my ID, my Insurance Card, and referral paperwork it says MALE, so how was this mistake made, they had the right address and phone number.
But I wish it ended there, but it didn't.
I corrected the WRONG info, but apparently in their system it must not have been corrected.
Remember at the beginning of this review how I mentioned all the people that saw me during my appointment.
Well every time I was called by the staff it was "Miss Kawa".....my response "Do you mean Michael?"...."Oh yes what is your birthdate".....and this was repeated over and over to the point I didn't care anymore.......I guess according to the staff of this office of Center For Sight I am now a FEMALE.....not once did anyone care that this info was wrong....I corrected them.....even at the end when I was called up to make my follow up appointment it was "Miss Kawa"...........
But hey this is not really my problem, if they don't fix this in the paperwork they send to my insurance they might not get paid, and it is not my fault.....I told them over and over I am a MALE, and Mr. Kawa.

Wonder what is going to happen during my follow up in six months???

Good experience until I was ready to leave. Was ask if I wanted my glasses prescription and I said yes. My glasses are old, scratched with a crack. Was told it wasn't available yet but they would call me either that day or the next when it was ready. Here it is the next day after 3pm and I have called three times, several hours a part, only to be told that it hasn't been signed by the Dr and I would be called back within an hour. Bull. I'm getting the royal run around. Have no idea when I'll be able to pick it up and get my glasses.

Dr. Liang has changed my life. Last summer I had a severe cataract problem in left eye and a central scar on my right cornea. I could not drive, was struggling mightily to work. It was causing serious anxiety for me and my family. She fixed my left eye to almost 20/20 and my right eye is at least 50% better. I can drive again I can see my daughter on the soccer field. My life is changed completely. I was so lucky she took my case after the first people I saw told me my problems may be permanent. I will be forever grateful. What a great talent and an amazing resource for our community. From me and my family, sincerely thank you Dr Liang!

Waited 3 months to See Dr. Liang. Got confirmation call 2 days prior to appointment, all seemed fine. Less than 24 hours before appointment get call that I will NOT be seeing Dr. Liang but someone else. She came highly recommended and to switch less than 24 hours before appointment is very unprofessional and especially when appointment was confirmed the day before with her. I will not be using them. If this is any indication on how they treat patients, perhaps it's good I cancelled and will go elsewhere.

I saw Dr licina for a new diagnosis of macula degeneration. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in sharing information being sure I was able to ask all my questions and answering them all to my satisfaction. She really relieved my mind about this new diagnosis. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a good ophthalmologist.

For the last 3 years I have been struggling with Uveitis a permanent eye conditions that deteriorates your vision and the only way to prevent further problems you must be treated as soon as you can, the issue with this location is there’s a doctor by the name of Dr. Steward Park that absolutely did nothing to help and for a year and a half he kept seeing me to check up on the condition but absolutely did nothing to looking into or research and I lost almost 2 years of preventable damage, I asked for a new doctor in this location and the new doctor was well informed and knows a lore more then , did he was able to diagnose me and offer information and help unlike, IF YOU GO TO THIS LOCATION AND GET Dr. Steward Park DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!! because with eye problems its super important to get treatment right away and Dr. Steward Park will just make you lose valuable time!!! Make sure you get Dr.Bouras he’s actually a help and is very informed on his job would definitely recommend him!

I copied and pasted the address they text me to confirm my appointment. I followed the address to a Shell gas station. I was on hold with their office for 10 minutes while I figured out their location. I was told I could be seen if I arrived 15 min after my appointment time, but not after. I arrived 19 min after & even though I followed the address THEY sent me, they wouldn’t see me. If they can’t accommodate this, I won’t trust them with my eyes.

It has been one month since I had iLASIK surgery with Dr. Liang as my surgeon. I will admit I was a bit afraid to have this done as I believe anyone would be, however from the moment I got to the surgery center I was met with comfort and professionalism. As a patient I was coached through the process and comforted along the way. The surgery seemed to have ended just as quick as it started. The day after surgery I was seeing 20/20. As I stated before it has now been one month and my Vision is amazing. I feel free as my morning routine has been made easy and my confidence has also been boosted. I am very grateful to Dr.Liang for giving me the gift of sight. I hope people take the time to experience and "see" no pun intended, what it is like to have a team working just so you can have a sense restored.

Very BAD eye center. They run every useless test possible that’s approved by insurance. They waste people’s time and money. Rude staff as well. Shepard Eye Center is 100x more professional, better staff and doctors. Find a different eye center to go to.
