My sons has his orthodontic care done here and our family will be moving before care is done. Paid for care through HFD finance. On our last appt I was told we cannot schedule another appt because they close our hfd account, without my knowledge. Called Hfd to confirm closure and I was told account is still active. Called back the office(ortho) and a supervisor told me t he y reached out to hfd already and they will try again. 3 time i was told our hfd account is close. Obviously it wasn’t because I was still receiving payment invoice from hfd. Called 4x and now im told they haven’t reached out to hfd and my balance has been adjusted to double what was given to me on last appt. Please don’t play around with people time and money. Highly not recommended. Sadly, it was one of the supervisor I spoke to. Awaiting call to close our account and we are moving in less then two weeks.

My kids been going here for years. Always good spirits good energy, but today took the cake. My youngest son is terrified of the doctor and dentist. Gave us the hardest time and one thing I can say is Thomas was very patient, he didn't get frustrated or mad with my son and for sure didn't give up. So thank you Thomas cause I was so close to leaving lol

Been bringing our kids here for years, and they’ve been great! The staff is kind, patient with kids, and very accommodating with scheduling. There can be a small wait for routine appointments, but they’re excellent when it comes to urgent care. Highly recommend.

Way too crowded and I lost my job a few months ago and needed medicaid for a little bit for my daughter, and now I see why our taxes are so high, they offer you things you don't even need. They offered braces but had to borrow money from a 3rd source to get them whether you have a job or not, so getting people into debt. The system is broken. The staff was nice but was disappointed when I said not right now. Im not going to get a loan without a job.
Also, the other location failed to tell me that my child needed a root canal for 3.5 months until our next appointment and now has to go to a separate dentist practice at UNLV because apparently they don't do root canals. What dentist doesn't do root canals? Very suspect. The wait times are crazy but we are stuck eith them because medicaid. Then she had a few more to fill and they tried to schedule another 6 months out until I said something. The 2 fillings she got the other day have cone out already and now I have to make another appointment and ut says they are open everyday even on Saturdays but really they are only open on Wed and Fri. I would definitely not come back after I get insurance through my job. And no, my calling and saying what you could improve will do nothing. That is what the review is for so no response needed.

Friendly staff. The hygienist & dentist were so nice to my son, making him feel comfortable. He had X-rays done without issue. The appointment was quick and scheduling his next cleaning was easy. Definitely recommend this location.

My stepson and his young family recently moved here and the kids were referred to this practice through their insurance. Scheduling was easy and they are even open Saturday! What a great convenience because my husband was able to take them and all 3 kids got seen (baby, child, teen). The dentist and staff are friendly and considerate. They discussed possible braces when the child is ready (still has some baby teeth). The staff is easy to connect with and were so helpful in scheduling quickly (within a few days of our call). The kids even got free electronic toothbrushes! Thank you!!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of care and service at this dentistry. Every appointment, I am forced to wait 15–20 minutes past the scheduled time before being seen, which shows little respect for patients’ time.

The communication is poor at best. Patients are not treated like people who matter, but rather like numbers being pushed through a system. Yesterday (09/11/25), both the assistant and dentist failed to provide me with the information I specifically requested. I asked for a call and clarification but never received any follow-up.

I am deeply concerned about how my daughter’s treatment has been handled. I have been paying $100 a month, yet her expander was removed early. I personally came in multiple times, was shown how to use it, and followed the instructions as directed. Despite this, I was later told it was not being done — a statement that is both inaccurate and unacceptable.

When I requested further explanation, neither the nurse nor the dentist provided support. Instead, I am now being told that because I signed a contract, I must continue paying — while my daughter will not receive the braces treatment we were expecting. This is misleading, unfair, and a breach of trust.

**UPDATE: even though my son was not seen by the dentist - because he failed to even show up - this practice still charged my son’s insurance. They literally charged insurance for a service they DID NOT provide. So unprofessional and fraudulent.

My son is 2 years old and has been getting his check-ups there since May 2024. At the first appointment, they had us waiting over 20 minutes to been taken from the waiting room - waited another 10 minutes in the chair before the dentist came. The 2nd time, we waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes before being told that the dentist was running behind for another 45 minutes. We rescheduled. The third time, were left waiting over 20 minutes to be seen by the dentist. This last appointment, we showed for my son's 8am appointment 10 minutes early, were seen right away by the dental hygienist, only to wait in the chair 25 minutes before finding out the dentist wasn't even in the office yet.

I understand that life happens and medical offices have the tendency to get backed up. However, for a high-energy two-year old, 20+ minutes of waiting in an unfamiliar environment seems like a lifetime. And back-to-back issues with their schedule and time management was just too much. The front desk staff and dentists clearly had no compassion or urgency to stick to a schedule and the appointments. I was met with eye rolls and shoulder shrugs when politely voicing my concerns. If I'm expected to show up for my our appointment on time, then I expect the same respect in return from the care and services my son is receiving.

The dental hygienists are fantastic and have been so professional and apologetic. The dentists need to manage their time appropriately and focus on client care.

The process was simple and smooth right from the start, especially with the new patient paperwork being sent through text. It made things so convenient! The receptionist greeted me right away, was very sweet and nice. The dental assistant was also patient and understanding throughout the appointment. Dr. Hernandez was professional, and if you’re looking for a calm and patient office environment, I highly recommend this place. Appointment was completed with in 30 mins with little to no wait time.

I like the location, and the staff members are always helpful and polite. My family has been coming to the Anthem Village office for four years. However, I was disappointed with our recent visit with the new doctor, Dr. Perez.

He was not friendly and did not introduce himself, which immediately set the tone for a negative experience. According to the treatment plan previously discussed with Dr. Tran, this visit was supposed to be my child’s final appointment. Instead, Dr. Perez only filled one very small cavity, even though all three cavities were on the same side and had originally been planned to be completed together.

He stated that he wanted to “take his time” with the other two cavities because they were large, which was surprising and frustrating, as Dr. Tran had already addressed the larger ones first. It felt like we were being given a completely different and unnecessary plan, and both my child and I left very upset, expecting this to be the last treatment visit.

My suggestion to Anthem Village is to ensure their providers—especially in general dentistry—truly enjoy working with children and prioritize their care. Families need consistency and compassion, not delays or unclear treatment changes. Thank you.

From the Dr. To the staff everyone is great and amazing. But the supervisor whom runs that place is exceptional. She is incredibly professional, courteous, humorous, and above all very helpful. She is Jennifer and along with Naomi, whom is incredible also, they're a powerful recipe for success. I wish I had them as part of my staff. REGARDING THEIR ORTHO CARE-

This place is the worst. Unfortunately I’m stuck with them cause my insurance already paid out the full amount. I’ve tried to switch and it’s basically impossible. They literally only see patients one day a month. So my insurance pays for him to be seen every month, but because of their scheduling they push it out 8 weeks, sometimes more! My son only has 10 months left on his insurance, so when we’re actually there in an apt., I’d like to get as much done as possible… but the last appointment the doc said he needed 2 new things but they only had time to do one and have him back within the month to finish up. Well their very rude front desk lady (the main one that sits there) the rest are kind, but anyways she tried to schedule me 9 weeks out!!! Rather than finish the job that day wait 9 weeks to finish this and then I’m sure it’ll be another 10 weeks before he’s seen again. I have a feeling they’re trying to push it past the 10 so then we’ll have to pay more and out of pocket. I’ve never heard of a place that only has a doctor once a month. It’s been a horrible experience. I will let you know if they address these issues cause I am getting in contact with corporate. This is unacceptable! Don’t even attempt to use them so many other providers that take my insurance, if I had only know.
Their regular dentist isn’t bad that’s probably where the 4-5 stars are coming from but I promise you, the way their ortho is ran is unreal!

This place is such a mess! Wait time was an hour long , no notices or apologies just unreasonable excuses. Hygienist said treatment rooms vary.

I arrive at 2:10 for 2:30 appt time but i got called up at 3:15pm. And teeth cleaning time was less than 10 mins. Dentist doesnt explain anything. No system in this clinic. Not recommend this place. Hate wasting my time without any effective txs

I used to like bringing my children here(The Anthem office) the dentists seemed well qualified and carring but there has been a new dentist that is horrible! I'm not sure her name but I believe she's the only one there now. The first time she saw my son she said he had some cavities that needed to be filled but I didn't see them and she said they were just baby cavities just white spots so against my better judgment I let her do the fillings, she drilled the cavities then left to take care of other patients and left my son in the chair with holes in his teeth for over an hour!! She always has a bunch of patients at the same time and jumps around like a mad woman. Also my son said the fillings did not feel right and are super uncomfortable. The second time we saw her for a check up she put sealents on without asking me and dripped the acid they use on my son's face and it burned his skin!!! He still has a scar. I'm disappointed in the lack of professionalism and care and will not be going back. Please beware.

I’m so happy that I changed locations. My oldest normally has full on anxiety attacks and won’t let anything nor anyone near. Not this time around this team of people are soooo amazing. My youngest who is autistic had so much fun. They made my children feel comfortable, confident and happy. They were extremely inclusive and gentle. Went in for my daughters first visit (she is 3) . I was worried she would totally freak out but it was the complete opposite, she was calm the whole time ! The dental assistant Ethel was very great with my daughter , she answered all my questions, was very gentle, and made my daughter feel comfortable. She even let my daughter hold the tools and examine them to make her feel safe and secure. As for Dr. Borgei she was also very great with my daughter , she patiently answered my questions and concerns , and gave me the reassurance I needed . Definitely recommend this children’s dentist ! Took my 5 year old daughter who is severely autistic, to the Anthem Village location and they were so good with her! She didn't fuss or scream once... I was so proud of her! And so incredibly grateful to them for being so awesome with her!!! Great staff here!

Excuse my screen name. My kid changed it and it wont let me change it back. We went here for years and had an okay experience. Alot of long waits. But the doctors were nice. Last appt my daughter had extreme anxiety. I felt we were rushed and my child was treated like an inconvenience. So we decided to switch. No hard feelings. Its been years. I request the records to switch, had to request twice. I read the records. In the record it states my 9 year old used profanity. My child never used profanity once. Never has in life. Shes only 9 and I was in the room the full time. The way they wrote about my daughter for her new dentist, was unethical and a lie. They took an anxious scared kid and made her into a monster.

Update: we went to a new dentist and were told that the treatment plan from this dentist was excessive and unnecessary (false).
