I had my first appointment with Dr. Chinedu Nwasike, and I left feeling confident, informed, and genuinely cared for. From the moment he walked into the room, he took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explain my condition and treatment options in a way that was easy for me to understand.

What impressed me most was his patience and willingness to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. He has a remarkable ability to take complex medical information and explain it clearly, which helped ease a lot of my anxiety about my illness.

I am scheduled for surgery on Monday, and thanks to Dr. Nwasike, I feel reassured and confident that I am in excellent hands. His professionalism, knowledge, compassion, and manners are truly outstanding.

This young man, Dr. Nwasike is the type of doctor anyone should have ... he cares. Dr. Nwasike is not out there for the dollars cuz that will come as a doctor, but he's concerned about your well-being and the results of his work to help you. Easy to talk to, explains everything so that you truly understand the choices you make together for the betterment of your health and the end results. This will be my second surgery with him. Great appointment. Listened to everything I said. Was understanding, knowledgeable and very polite. Very easy to talk to and I didn’t feel rushed. Went over several options. Ordered some more testing.Did a few physical tests ordered a few more scans and a referral to another colleague. I feel as if I have a good starting point finally to get answers to all my symptoms and pain. Will see him again after scans. The wait in the waiting room was no more than 15 minutes. Dr. Nwasike reviewed my x-rays with me and suggested an MRI and explained to me what my problems were and what options I have. It was a very quick and thorough process can't wait to have some relief from all of this pain. Dr Nwasike is an amazing wonderful, very caring doctor. He was a second opinion for my neck pain. I have suffered with pain for over two years with nothing working. When I saw him he told me he could open up the space that was pinching my nerve. He also was willing to do a cage to support the bones that he felt I would have needed down the line. If you suffer from chronic back pain. Dr Nwasike is exceptional. Professional caring and compassionate about my issue. He showed me what was wrong with my back and have been to many other doctors that did not explain in such great detail like he did. Offered options to fix my chronic pain and also explained cons to every option not trying to do a surgery to be paid. Great bedside manners service above and beyond. Saw dr Nwasike for cervical spinal stenosis that was diagnosed after a fall. After seeing many doctors I was so frustrated. I was so relived to see Dr Nwasike, he was so nice and caring. He actually listened to what I had to say. He explained everything that was going on with my injury. It was nice to have a dr. give me reasons for all the pain I was having and what needed to be done to get some relief. Thank God, he said no surgery was needed at this time. Such a relief. More PT and hopefully less and less pain. He said this whole thing could take a year to get better. Something no other dr told me. But I see lite at the end of the tunnel! Got texts/emails long after appointment scheduled that I needed to arrive 30 minutes prior to true appointmrnt time. I completed online check-in paperwork the day before. Due to last minute conflicts the day of appointment I arrived 10 minutes PRIOR to the actual scheduled appointment time. I was shamed a bit by the receptionist about not arriving a full 30 minutes prior, then told to have a seat and wait to be called in. About an hour later they called me in to sit in a consultation room and 30 minutes later I saw the Dr. The Dr. consultation was great.

Just where the incision was from the surgery and I had two of them, Dr. Nwasike fixed my bone structure in my back. I am now off all restriction and doing therapy. I would bet my life on Dr. Nwasike and his staff with Nevada orthopedic back in Spine. I’ve had nothing but great experiences dealing with any of the doctors there. This commentary is regarding the scheduling staff. PLEASE, please, please be more specific about what "soon" means when someone is calling about an appointment for a freshly broken bone.

My partner has a badly displaced collarbone fracture and was sent home from the ER with nothing but Aleve, an icepack and the phone number for this office. When we were told you were trying to contact the doctor to see if we could get a sooner appointment, we were taking "sooner" to mean today vs early next week.

I'm not upset we couldn't get an appointment. If there isn't availability, there isn't availability. We were BEWILDERED though that it wasn't until 5 hours after our first phone call and after calling back several times asking for an update about scheduling that the "sooner" we were talking about meant sooner than the next available appointment NEXT YEAR.

Time is extremely precious when you're home in agony with a mangled chest. PLEASE LEAD with, "We do not have a doctor on call or upcoming availability" in these situations. We needed to know this when we called at 11 AM, not at the end of the business day on a Friday when it is too late to contact other providers to try find out anything about next steps 😭😭😭😭😭

I was extremely lucky to have come across Dr. Nwasiki as my surgeon. I had a horrific accident and broke my hip and had to be air ambulanced back to the States. He went over everything with me and my husband before and after the surgery and we never felt that he was rushing us and made sure we understood everything. The Doctor was very informative , he showed me step by step exactly what he thought I would need too do to get relief from my back pain . I was impressed he showed me something other doctors missed in my xrays...very impressed! I would feel very comfortable with him doing my surgery.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. NWASIKE. I got into a car accident in March, and I initally was told I had 3 fractures in my back and was released from UMC Hospital, upon them trying to discharging me, I kept telling them something was wrong and they kept insisting me it was normal, and nothing wrong showed up in the xrays. 2 months later, and with with my gut knowing something was wrong, and looking online, seeing the results of Dr. NWASIKE's care, at my first appointment with Dr. NWASIKE, he told me that something WAS wrong, and I needed surgery immediately. Ultimately, my L5-S1 was dislocated and needed to be reset. Surgery prep, and post-op was spectacular. He instructed how the surgery and post care was going to be, and also had a vein doctor alongside him to monitor the surgery process. I cant tell you how better I feel. I can work, and be a mom again, and not was restraint as I was before. Dr. NWASIKE changed my life forever and has given me a second chance, and I am forever greateful for the hospitality and care he has given me. Thank you so much!!

Dr Nwaskie is one of the newer providers at NV Ortho and Spine. I had an appointment to see him on 11/8/22 at 1:15pm. I had my x-rays. Since he lists new medical training and the use of robotic surgery, I only wanted to ask him 1 question related to my thoracic spine. Not if he would do a procedure, but if he had the training to do a certain type of thoracic spine procedure that would not involve deflating a lung or spreading ribs.

His nurse told me the x-rays were wrong and that without the 'proper' x-rays, he would not see me, even to just be asked a question. The pompous attitude of the nurse, and the doctor's arrogance are totally inappropriate and I could never suggest anyone use this type of doctor. I have had two successful operations provided by other doctors at this group (Dr. Rimoldi and Taylor) without any issues. They were superb.

He's a wonderful caring Doctor and those are qualities you don't find much anymore in healthcare .My Husband suffers with severe back and leg pain for over a year and have seen other Doctors but never getting the help .Dr.Nwasike He listens and takes the time .I feel very confident my Husband will receive the help he so desperately need from Dr Nwasike .
