I enjoy speaking with Dr. he listens and answers all my questions. He is direct which I prefer. I would rather have questions and answers that are direct and specific. I prefer being told exactly what is going on instead of being coddled. Dr Bomametti does a fantastic job. He is given my mother the best of care. I highly recommend him and the staff all are great. I’ve never had a problem. When I’ve needed to get my mother in to see him quickly, I’ve managed to do so.

Bonometti is a great Cardiologist and very professional and personable. My review of Dr. Bonometti got deleted so I am posting again and will continue to repost every time it gets deleted because people need to be aware/warned of him and the entire practice. Dr. Bonometti told me during our first visit that I had a classic case of POTS, we discussed ways to help manage POTS symptoms, and told me to stay on my beta blocker that was helping with my tachycardia (my high heart rate); but in my medical file he mentioned nothing about POTS but notated I had vasovagal syncope which we never discussed. I left messages on voicemail and the patient portal trying to get the records corrected but those messages went unanswered and I had to make an appointment to get anyone to discuss the issue. During that appointment Dr. Bonometti tried telling me that I did not have POTS and that I wasn't experiencing sustained increases in heart rate (the complete opposite of what we discussed during the first appointment) and that I was probably experiencing drops in heart rate and that he was the expert and was tired of patients arguing with him (I monitor my heart rate 24/7 and have only experienced sustained increases in heart rates, but what do I know it's only my body). He also said and notated in my records that I was “overly concerned about labels;” I was not concerned about labels but I was concerned about getting a proper and accurate diagnosis along with proper and accurate treatment. Then he told me that the particular diagnoses does not matter because POTS (which involves an increase in heart rate) and Vasovagal syncope (which involves a decrease in heart rate) are both forms of Dysautonomia making them essentially the same thing and treatment for them is the same; this is wildly inaccurate, they are both forms of Dysautonomia but a low heart rate and a high heart rate are not given the same treatment/medication; treatment for POTS can involve medication that essentially lowers the heart rate and that medication would not be given to someone experiencing low heart rates, so no they are not treated the same and doing so could be very dangerous. He then compared Dysautonomia to pizza and said it’s just like pizza, there are multiple flavors of pizza but it’s all just pizza and you eat them all the same way 🤯. He also told me that I needed to get my tilt table test results from the hospital and review it myself and I would see that he was right; firstly, another doctor in the same practice ordered that test so he had access to it and just didn’t want to pull it up; secondly, I did get a copy of the test from the hospital and did find a significant error in the doctor summary of that test; Dr. Gururaj (the first doctor from this practice that I saw) notated that my heart rate decreased to 154 bpm during the test indicating vasovagal syncope; however, upon reading the entire test for myself, I found the test showed my heart rate increased to 154 bpm and that was my highest heart rate during the test…so how did my heart rate “decrease” to my highest heart rate…it made zero sense and was inaccurate; I’ve since had multiple other specialists read my tilt table test and agree that was a significant error on the part of the ordering doctor. Also, Dr. Bonometti, during my first visit, ordered several tests; I later found out, from reading my medical files, that he ordered those tests because he claimed that he heard with his stethoscope a heart murmur as well as whooshing sounds in my carotid arteries. However, he never put a stethoscope to me and in fact he didn't even bring one into the exam room. He lied in order for me to get/pay for those unnecessary tests. I later was told by another doctor that they heard no evidence of a heart murmur or any kind of whooshing sound in my carotid arteries when that doctor actually used their stethoscope during the exam. Bottom line is this practice and their doctors only care about getting you/your insurance to cover as many tests as possible, whether they are necessary or not. They do not like educated patients and their egos prevent them from providing quality care.
