I am new to Las Vegas and was looking for a dentistry to do my routine dental cleaning. I chose this dentistry simply because it is close to where I stay, not knowing how unprofessional they are. This is what happened:

1. I went for my routine dental cleaning and at the time of check-out they informed me that I must have a crown. I didn’t go for a crown , had no discomfort and the dentist never explained to me why I needed a crown. This is not the first crown for me. In all previous cases, the dentists took time to explain why it was needed and it was never an emergency. But now it was an emergency and had to be done ASAP. I trusted their professionalism and agreed to the procedure, and they scheduled me for the procedure the very next week.

2. As dental crowns are expensive, all other dentists that I have been to earlier, take prior authorization from the insurance company. In this case they didn’t bother to do it, though I suggested that they do so. They said their estimate was correct and no pre-approval from the insurance company was necessary. They told me my portion will be $568.60, and the insurance will cover the rest.

3. At the end of the procedure when I went to pay, they mentioned there would be a 5% additional charge for using my HSA Mastercard. It had never happened before!!. All clinics, doctors, hospitals etc. accept HSA debit cards without any extra charge. And at the time of registration, they never mentioned about the additional charge. It was only at the time of payment. As I didn’t want to pay the extra amount, I used my normal credit card to make the payment, and all was settled.

4. A few weeks later they called me to say that I still owe them $392.20 because the insurance had declined the claim. According to my insurance company (United Healthcare), in their own words, the claim was denied because, “ Based on the information submitted and reviewed by our consulting dentists, no benefits can be allowed for this procedure because there appears to be insufficient evidence of extensive loss of tooth structure due to decay or fracture.” In other words, the dentist did a procedure for money that was not required.

In summary:
- They did a procedure hurriedly that was not required.
- Never took pre-approval from the insurance company because they probably knew it would be denied although I suggested they do it.
- Because of their incompetence and lack of professionalism , I must pay from my pocket for a procedure that was unnecessary.
- They never mentioned that they will put a surcharge for using my HSA debit card.

They have no regard for your well-being or your health. Their only motive is to take your money one way or the other.

STAY AWAY!! No shortage of dentists in Las Vegas.

I had to edit my review. I loved this place when I first started going, but then they hired this assistant who must have been fresh out of school or something, because she didn't know what the heck she was doing. And while I understand the learning curve, common sense would tell you to TIE UP YOUR NASTY HAIR AND NOT LET IT SWING INTO PATIENTS' MOUTHS. She did the polishing after the doc did my cleaning, and she didn't even get the floss between my teeth. I told her, my contacts aren't that tight (which means my teeth don't touch so close that it's difficult to get floss in between them), but instead of doing anything, she just said sorry. It's her favorite word, sorry. That's all she kept saying. So I had to floss myself when I got home.

I am no longer a patient there. I had a cleaning for myself and my kids scheduled, and the day before, they called me. I thought it was to confirm my appointment. Nope, it was to inform me that they no longer take my insurance, so they were canceling the appt, good luck. The day before??? I had to take the day off of work, and you can't tell me that they didn't know about this beforehand!! Absolute garbage move to patients that have been coming there for years.

Dr Jin is the man! In other words, he is the real deal. He has HONESTY, a character trait that seems to be a rarity in an age where a corporate takeover is rampant & pressure sales tactics are everywhere. He cares. He knows what he is doing.

I had a major tooth infection and abscess that I had been putting off and then it worsened severely and he accepted me immediately, drained the abscess and pulled the tooth. He told me beforehand what to expect, told me to speak up if I felt any pain (I didn't) and checked on me throughout.

The rest of the staff was great too. His assistant and the lady at the front desk were nothing but sweet and very helpful. Dr Jin, be proud of yourself, this is a great practice that feels like a "family practice". A true diamond, found in a dry desert of corporate dentistry that feel soulless and only wants to maximize profit.

Worst dental experience if my life. I will never go back and I suggest you steer clear as well. Went in for a toothache came out $2500 and 2 root canals later. The doctor has no empathy for his patients, he tore the crap out of my mouth and gums. I was in literal tears during the procedure and the next day trying to eat because I was in so much pain. Took weeks for the swelling and pain to subside. When I went in for my permanent caps I didn't sign the consent because it literally states you need to sign off on your tooth after seeing it. When I got back in the exam room, he said he needs to send back the teeth because you can see the metal showing through the white. Okay, that's good. But then said he normally doesn't show patients their teeth.... Umm why not? We are literally supposed to sign off on them. RED FLAG! While I was in the chair he started drilling or in his words "polishing", rounding out the tooth below my root canals without my consent and I asked him about it and he said it was too sharp...mhmm right... The teeth I got in today look short and one of my molars is practically flat, I'm seriously not happy with the service, price, nor treatment of this establishment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This guy is terrible.

This is the worst dental clinic I've ever encountered. I only needed a standard $79 teeth cleaning, but they made me pay the $79 upfront, then told me I needed a deep cleaning, which cost $720. They wouldn't refund the original $79, so I essentially lost $79.

I had a very hard time finding a pediatric dentist and one who was accepting new patients. One day, as I was getting off work, I noticed the Complete Dental office and saw that their hours fit perfectly with our schedule. This was such a relief because balancing my son’s weekly appointments had already been challenging, and I thought adding another one would be overwhelming. My job has been a bit tense since I was often running late or taking time off when one of my son’s doctor’s appointments took longer than expected so having the option of late appointments was truly a blessing.

The most wonderful thing about this office, though, is the caring and loving staff. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Given my son’s diagnosis, they treated him with incredible patience, compassion, and kindness. I’m so glad I stumbled across this office, they truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they care for their patients.

A special shout-out to Dr. Jin, the dental hygienist with glasses, and the receptionist with the piercings! I’m so sorry I didn’t remember your names, I was really nervous that my child might be judged or denied treatment and that we’d be back to square one searching for a dentist. I promise ladies I’ll remember your names next time! 😊

My insurance showed in active so I had to pay upfront for services not yet rendered. After my tooth was extracted they made no refund. After I filed my claim to my insurance who reimbursed me a in full for the extraction only since the dentist added services not rendered and I was robbed over 100 dollars. He only reimbursed me for a portion but claimed other untrue claims and here we are. HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. TBH

I've been a patient of Dr. Jin for many years. He has done all my dental work including bridges and crowns. During my last visit, he placed two crowns, but they were a bit too big, so he adjusted them. Unfortunately, while doing so, he also filed down one of the bridges he himself had made on my upper teeth, damaging it and exposing the metal underneath.
didn't notice the damage until the next morning and went back right away to let him know. He denied it and said it wasn't him - but it clearly was. I'm very disappointed that after so many years as a loyal patient, he efused to take responsibility for a mistake he made.
Sadly, he has lost a long-time patient due to this lack of accountability.

Second visit was a complete flop. After specifically having the girl in pink come sit in the room with me last time break down everything and we made a plan to get everything done I have to come back for a third visit because they didn’t book appropriately AND took no accountability. This was one of the worst experiences in my life at a dentist. It started from when i first got my confirmation call. The receptionist called and then said hold on mid asking me a question about my insurance. Took another call and appointment while i was on hold so i hung up as i was also at work. I rescheduled my appointment and didnt get a call so the day of my appointment i called. The receptionist says “oh i dont see you” with a slight attitude but we can get you in. Okay cool. She then says you need to call and get assigned to our office really snappy once she found out i was ising medical assistance. I arrived in the office and there were 3 young ladies chatting it up and pretty friendly. Took my paper work and checked me in. They do have a beat up massage chair that i took advantage of. A few moments later the dental assistant came to get me.

She was pretty quiet and didnt talk much but she did let me know what would be happening starting with the xray. Xrays were completed and ahe left and said the doc would be in. About 3 mins later there aas a man sitting behind me asking me to lay back. No introduction or anything. I sat up and said HELLO and he proceeds to introduce his self and attempt to pronounce my name after asking how to say it and me telling him to try.

He got in ny mouth and whispered some stuff to the assistant and then told me what my options were and stated they would have some paper work given to me in a few minutes. This was at 12:33pm. The dental assistant came in and gave me a toothbrush and said they will be in to give you your paperwork shortly. 12:50 i got up to find a bathroom since everyone disappeared. I went to the front office and seen 2 new young ladies there. I asked what was going on and one says “oh im multitasking and will be with you soon” my response was so no one was going to check in on anything. Her response “well im working alone and busy” okay. I sat in the front waiting area for her. It’s now 1:12 and the phone tings. She takes another appointment and i just left. She calls and asked if i left and i explained that i did as i was being ignored and pushed aside. Her response was well i am working alone and busy and you should have told me because i need you to sign paperwork. Excuse me maam? I should have told you? No. This place is unprofessional, they treat people with medicaid rude and the place is dirty as hell!

The staff and Dr. Jin were great in helping me with all my dental needs. The staff are all friendly and very proficient. I was greeted in a friendly manner when I arrived for my appointment, and wait-time was only about 5 minutes, the dental assistants were friendly, and very good at their jobs, and Dr. Jin is super gentle and excellent at giving numbing needles if needed. The staff was very Rude, and the Dentist himself didn't even say maybe 2 words to me. I made this appointment to get all my teeth fixed, or Extracted, but instead I get treated like some drug addict. I had severe trauma about going to the dentist, so much so that I had not gone in over 10 years. Sought second opinion from Dr Jin after implant surgery from a different dental company left my lower lip numb for 2 months now. Dr Jin spent over 30 minutes answering my questions. He carefully explained why my worst fears of permanent numbness will not not happen. And to expect recovery within 2 months to 2 years, worse case.
Relieved a lot of stress knowing that is was not permanent. Also grateful the consultation was gratis, free of charge.

I then call on my way to my appt. and the first thing the lady disclosed to me was I would owe. $79 because of insurance issues and was. blaming me that I wasn't answering their phone calls. Wasn’t a great experience checked in 11 o’clock got my paperwork done and they found me in the system and then after that I was waiting for an hour to other patients when I had of me and never said anything to me they knew I was there, so why wouldn’t they say something to me? Staff is very friendly, attentive, and considerate. The wait was very short. The waiting room has a lot of comfortable seating (there is even a massage chair). However, Dr. Jin seemed rushed and offered no consultation about my X-rays or exam. He barely said anything to me at all. I had to ask the dental assistant on my way out. Perhaps he was busy. I have been going to Dr. Jin since 2008. I had a huge fear of dentists relating back to a childhood experience. I found Dr. Jin & I literally cried tears of joy after my visit with him. He was very gentle & extremely talented! Throughout the years whenever I had my appointment, I noticed his patience & kindness towards all his patients, especially with kids. I've seen him around town doing various charity work for one's that were struggling & couldn't afford dental care, & it made me feel so proud of him. I will always be a loyal patient of his because he has earned the highest standards of excellence that most can only dream of having.

They are so kind & helpful & they make sure that when you leave you have any prescriptions or appointments you need before leaving. Complete Dental has been my go to and the only dentist office I have ever enjoyed going to. All the staff remembers me every time. That’s important to me and makes me feel comfortable. Dr. Jin is generous and helps the elderly as well as vets and people on Medicaid. Not just in it for the money. I appreciate him and all the staff immensely.

This is by far the worse dental/dentist I've ever been to ..I went in only for him to realize who he was treating once he knew who I was his whole attitude changed he has the worst bed side manners I believe me I'll never go back..beware@!

Went in a couple days ago because I was having a toothache on 2 of my molars up top and they got me in right away. Found out what work I needed to get done on my teeth and today I am getting them pulled because of money situation but the doc is always understanding and I only trust him with my teeth because he knows what he is doing and his staff is also knowledgeable. I highly recommend going to him if you need any work done because he is a kind doc and he cares about his patients.

Before going here I would always hear stories about how getting a root canal is basically hell but this place made my first experience getting a root canal a pretty painless one that far exceeded my expectations. Great work with a very helpful support staff. My teeths feel great 😁

Went in for an extraction and to have one tooth added to my partial. Dr. started with x-ray procedure. I heard the doctor tell me to bite down when the film was in my mouth, he then proceeded to slap my face and tell me not to bite down. Totally unacceptable! He then administered lidocaine to the tooth that was being removed. Immediately after the injection he started the removal process. Not giving the nerve any time to numb. He explain to me if I feel pain to rise my left hand which I did but to no avail he continued the extraction. I suffered severe pain. The office and doctor‘s attitude resemble an assembly line, hurry up and get to the next one is The only way I can explain it. I’m done with this office and will be reporting his actions to the medical board.

Everyone at Complete Dental are great. I went into the office in excruciating pain. I as told I needed a root canal and instead of sending me home in pain and scheduling me out. Dr. Jin squeezed me in to his schedule and performed the procedure right then.

Waited 2 hrs after terrible consultation and felt like I was price gouged! Getting my xrays and going elsewhere. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful and professional! However the dentist Jin is another story and its not good!! DON’’T BOTHER! Outlandish pricing! Unbelievable and did not help with my initial reason for going! Totally annoyed. He DID NOT explain one single thing. Also suggested 1 implant! WHAT?? And 2 bridges and. BUNCH of other BS Had to call up to the front desk to ask if they forgot about me.

I've been coming here for years. I had 2 boys within the last 3 years and my teeth are worse than they have ever been. The front bottom of my tooth had a chip in it. The doctor and staff were all amazing with the x-rays and with the filling. Lucky me the teeth cleaning wasn't bad and I didn't need any shots to get the filling done. I love this place and will always come back.

Don’t bother with this place. It’s all about the money. I was in pain and needed a clean done but the dentist flat out refused. I paid $69 for x-rays that I didn’t need(X-rays that took half and hour and had to be redone over and over as they’re software kept crashing) only to find out what I already knew. Then he flat out refused to clean my teeth as he was holding out hoping that I was going to part with the big dollars and let him take all of my teeth out. I wouldn’t go back to this business to have even the smallest job done let alone a major job done. Appalling customer service from the Dentist.
Side note. The reception staff were very helpful in getting me in for the initial appointment quickly but unfortunately as I went there for one thing and didn’t get it but was still out of pocket and still have to go somewhere else now and spend more money. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone
