I made an appointment with Doctor Shalev because of my foot injury was a deep wound infection. The stitches were taken out of my wound too soon and I had a swollen foot and infection. Dr Shalev knew exactly what to do and within 5 weeks the wound was completely healed!

I highly recommend Amir and his wonderful staff! My only regret is I wish I reached out earlier. Two weeks after my first appointment and I am returning to tell him I am pain free! Are you kidding me? I had no idea I could be without the excruciating pain I was living with. I was just trying to survive each day and now I feel like I can thrive. I am so happy.

Dr. Amir Shalev and staff have been amazing and an incredible part of my healing journey! I started coming here for my planter fasciitis , bone spur pain, and basically the worst foot pain. Dr recommended the shockwave treatment. I declined at first because I wanted instant relief and opted for the cortisone shots. Sadly I still found no relief after about six seperate sessions and the little bit of relief did not last. I finally took doctor's advice and started the shockwave treatment. Week 1, just like he said, I would feel relief for about 2-3 days. I had to go out of the country 2 weeks but I resumed with the six week treatment plan and once a week I would receive shockwave treatment. First week,
I had more good days than bad days. Second week,
felt like something was happening
and I thought, this has to be what repair feels like, and I knew this because it was a different type of pain, it felt like more activity going on in my foot. Week, 3 felt about the same with a few more good days. By week 4 I was feeling 90% pain free. I just left from my 5th and will be back for my 6th next week confident of a full recovery. And i'm writing this review now because this is how exciting and AMAZING it feels to be 90% pain free and I don't have to imagine what full recovery feels like. After acupuncture (different doctor) pain meds(prednisone) etc. Finally I can say what does work, Shockwave therapy!!! Thank you for restoring my foot health! I had forgotten what it was like to walk without pain, now I am excited to resume all my favorite activities knowing I don't have to settle for living in pain! I fell and broke my foot in two places on Saturday. At the hospital they put on a huge uncomfortable splint and gave me crutches. It was an agonizing weekend. I called the office on Monday when they opened and they got me in the same day. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The doctor was kind, thorough and considerate. We even had a few laughs. I got a comfy new boot and am not required to use crutches. My experience was exceptional and I am grateful.

6/29/26 update
My 84 yr old mother was complaining that her knees hurt. I usually take her to see a pain management doctor for her cortisone injections but realized the relief is getting shorter and shorter. I was also informed that the cortisone injections are deteriorating the cartilage on her knees and eventually will be bone on bone and extremely painful and will not work. I didn't want my mother to be in pain and made the decision to go get the STEMCELL therapy from Dr. Shalev. To be honest, we were skeptical if this will work and I was nervous to even ask her. After a week or so, I asked my mother how she was doing and i was happy to hear that her knees are good and NO PAIN! it's been about 1.5 months and still no pain and she is up and about up n down the stairs:) Please, if you are in pain, go see this amazing doctor💙
He gave my mother a better quality of a pain free life. We are forever grateful for this doctor!!!

What a joke, received a bill I owe $50. Bill is from 2022! All these years only been there once and Tricare paid them on EOB. Now suddenly I owe then $50 ! This is a scam to wait that long and send in mail. Same address all these years and they send now ! Be Careful they will bill you years later!

Great initial visit but follow up post care has been pretty poor so far. I ordered supportive sandals almost a month ago after purchasing supportive inserts from them for my normal day-to-day shoes. I was told the order was placed four days after I paid, and then after calling probably for the fifth time to follow up and see if my sandals were there, I’m told that they were barely ordered a week ago. Nobody should have to pay another co-pay or pay for more medication or even have to take medication a second time because the office delayed in ordering something medically recommended to the patient. If they were not going to be ordered for three weeks after my purchase, somebody should have been upfront and honest with me about that. That way, I could’ve purchased from somewhere else or gotten a recommendation from somewhere else with a more speedy delivery time, especially since it is regarding a medical problem. I wear my day-to-day shoes with the inserts every day, but I cannot wear them inside the house all the time and I cannot wear them first thing out of my shower or right out of bed. I still wear extremely padded sandal/slide shoes, but I need that support for my plantar fasciitis and it’s been a month now and now my foot hurts all over again. Just very disappointing, It doesn’t feel like patient care is a priority.

The ONLY thing that I don't like is the front desk She is super RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. We aren't even late to our appointment but she is giving us an attitude . and I understand that we are supposed to be early to fill out the paperwork but what can I do on the day of the appointment it's raining and it's traffic. Best foot care I have ever received. I’m prone to ingrown toenails and have three sides of my two largest toenails cut down and cauterized. (I’m sure the last one will need to be done eventually.) I was offered a post surgical box of everything you need after surgery and it was AMAZING! This was by far the easiest recovery! First visit for my son’s foot pain and the front desk was embarrassingly bad. The woman at the desk rolled her eyes, dismissed us immediately, and didn’t bother to greet us, pure attitude and zero professionalism. After writing my son’s name down, she called us up, asked why we were there, and coldly said ‘we’ll call you soon’ like we were an inconvenience. The only person with any manners was the young man who took my son’s vitals, he was polite and actually acknowledged us.

The doctor, however, was great, funny, direct, and straight to the point. The shoe inserts the doctor sells are amazing and absolutely worth buying. Incredible doctor, terrible front desk!

I’ve seen countless specialists over the years, but nothing prepared me for how exceptional my visit with Dr. Amir Shalev at Complete Foot and Ankle Care would be. Honestly, he is the best doctor I have ever encountered in my entire life.
From the second I walked in, the staff was phenomenal, warm, friendly, and unbelievably helpful. Everyone made me feel welcome and cared for; they handled everything smoothly and even followed up with me afterward just to check in. It’s rare to find an office where every single person genuinely seems to love what they do.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Shalev for a while and when I recently hurt my foot somehow, I made an appointment. I had a plantar fasciitis tear. I received caring and kind care and treatment from both Dr. Shalev and his nurse practitioner. The treatment was effective and my foot felt 90% better after a few weeks. I was thrilled to make a same day appointment for my daughter that has an ingrown toenail. We were running late due to a previous appointment that went longer than expected so I called to see if it would be a problem if we arrived 15 minutes late and I was asssured it was fine knowing that we’d have to wait a little longer once in the office. Upon arrival we were told that we couldn’t be seen since we were 15 minutes late. I explained that we were told it would be fine for us to be late and she asked a staff member who confirmed, but the woman at the front desk told us we’d have to reschedule. I originally left a very positive review for Dr. Shalev, and I still truly appreciate the care he gave me. He helped me with a long-standing Achilles issue, quickly figured out what was going on, and created a treatment plan that really worked. He’s a great doctor who takes time to listen and explain things in a way that makes you feel supported.

That said, I’ve unfortunately had to update my review because of an ongoing issue with one of the clinic’s employees, Aaron. I had a bad experience with her in the past — her attitude and the way she treated me were really unprofessional — and I even brought it up with the office manager, hoping it would be addressed. Sadly, it happened again on a recent visit.

I brought it up with the same office manager again, but this time I felt completely dismissed. I had to ask directly if anything was going to be done, and the response made me feel like her behavior was being brushed off as acceptable. That made me really uncomfortable — enough that I ended up canceling my appointment and choosing to go somewhere else.

It’s disappointing, because Dr. Shalev is excellent at what he does. But when issues like this aren’t taken seriously, it really affects the overall experience. I hope this kind of feedback is taken to heart — patients deserve to feel respected and heard.

Such a wonderful place, staff is amiable. Dr.Shalev is excellent and talented. I went in for ingrowns on both of my big toes and i am just thankful Dr.Shalev made my experience smooth. Prior to this my local clinic left me with a horrible experience. I was very nervous coming in sweating intensely but once Dr. Shalev explained everything to me and made sure i was well taken care of he took my ingrowns out and put chemical. I broke my ankle on Mother’s Day during a staycation with my husband and children. I tripped, fell and heard my ankle crack. It was awful. I was so devastated and in pain. I went to the ER and they put me in a temp cast. The next morning I called the doctor’s office that the ER recommended, they couldn’t see me until a week out. I called so many places and almost the same story, they were booked. Then I found Complete Foot and Ankle. The front office was kind, understanding and they booked me in for the next day!! The day of my appointment I was so scared, nervous and with tears in my eyes but then I met Dr. Shalev. He was amazing, knowledgeable and took his time explaining everything. He took off the temp cast and put me in a medical boot. Breaking my ankle has been a life changing experience. I’m still in my boot recovering but I’m so thankful for Dr. Shalev and all his staff. Two years ago I literally flew across our front yard while carrying cardboard to be recycled. Unexpectedly, a gust a wind was to blame . At first, my ankle swelled, but I kept going on with life. I’m constantly on my feet being a caregiver for my family. Eventually, out of nowhere excruciating pain occurred in the ankle and I was unable to stand or walk a distance. I went to see Dr. Shalev. He was the second podiatrist to have a visit with.
I’ll get straight to the point, Dr. Shalev really educated me and he recommended the conservative approach , which made me trust him. Dr Shalev is very nice but his office visit charge was $326.00. That's about the same as the cardio-vascular surgeon I saw! Also he said my red toe was due to rubbing on toe next to it but a few days later I went to the beach while on vacation and walked the surf and it miraculously got better. I'm pretty sure that would mean it was an infection or something other than "rubbing on neighboring toe.

We had the best experience we could possably have with Dr. Shalev and his staff!! My son had a bad ingrown toe nail where it got real bloody and infected and we had a difficult time finding someone who would actually treat him and do the removal procedure. We had to go to 2 other podiatrists and the ER and nobody wanted to treat him before we found complete foot and ankle care.

The doctor was super cool and patient with my son and made him feel at ease about getting it done. After the procedure the next day his toe looked fine and he said it no longer hurt after months of pain. The whole staff was very friendly and we had little to no waiting time. If you need the removal procedure and are looking for podiatrists, do yourself a favor and go here first. Dr. Shalev will do it right the first time and can use a chemical to prevent it from coming back. Thanks again for the exceptional care!!

I had an amazing experience here. I hurt my foot pretty bad playing pickleball and reached out the next day to try and get in for an appointment. Even though I was a new patient and there were no open appointments for a few weeks, they went above and beyond to squeeze me in that day given the pain from my injury. Ive had two ingrown nail removal experiences and the doctor before this location took advantage of me and didnt cartirise the nail so it wouldnt come back. Really great, accommodating, and excellent care. The doctor was able to see me weeks before the big orthopedic centers and helped me start treating my broken foot right away. I’m well on the path to recovery now. He explains things very well and always makes sure he’s answered my questions or concerns before he lets me go. Please hear me out. My Mom who is 82 y/o received less than substandard care. My Mom requires shoes due to her diabetes. After her shoes came in, her first visit to pick up her shoes, they did not fit. Second visit, same thing. Please keep in mind that she had previously been fitted for her shoe size. On the third visit not only were the shoes the wrong size again, the shoes were mismatch. Dr Shalev was well aware of this was disgusted and cursed about the mistake. Another patient in an exam room with the door open witnessed the complete chaos. Shalev witnessed the fitting and never took the time to tend to her. It was obvious the personnel doing the sizing had no clue. One employee had to call the shoe distributor on the proper way to size the shoes. We heard the entire conversation. In closing, her ultrasound of her feet revealed she did not have adequate blood flow to her feet. A consultation was submitted by Shalev to a Vascular Specialist that doesn’t treat that kind of condition. I’m glad for those that are satisfied with their care but my Referral Management team is disengaging with him.

Went in for an ingrown toenail. I’ve be struggling with finding the right footwear for playing basketball. Ive dealt with toenail bruises multiple times on the same toe. My whole toenail had to regrow multiple times. However this time it grew into my skin a bit on the side . Did a good search for ingrown toenail treatments. Came across this place. Was hesitant at first. Seen good reviews about them so I gave them a shot . Process was smooth but skeptical at first. Not so fancy in there . Made me question if they know what they’re doing. After filling out paperwork we immediately jumped in the process which isn’t a basic treatment. He made it look easy . Tools you only need to get the job done . Just numb my entire foot and cut a whole slice off . Didn’t feel anything. Recovery process was smooth. Only downside I had is that they booked me for 2 recovery check ups when the doctor only said one is needed. They will charge you each visit. my opinion is you don’t need either. You can always call back in if it looks bad. Other then that this was smooth and I can walk fine now again.

I love this office. The office staff are personable and organized. They do not overwhelm you with unnecessary texts or emails. Just the right amount to keep you aware. Went in for a ingrown toenail and walked out happy as a clam. He and his staff are very professional, he thoroughly explained the procedure and the outcomes he would expect with such a procedure. I have was referred here for some pain I had been having with my foot for some years. I received a cortisone shot and it took care of my problem. The doctor here is phenomenal!!! I took my Grandson here because he had a in grown toenail and he was very nervous to get it removed. I would recommend 100% Dr. Shalev if you have any problem with your feet or ankles (or both). I was seeing Dr Amir Shalev, he was very attentive and explained everything in simple terms before and during my procedure.

I had to take my children to my appointment due to school holidays. He was great with them and helped put them at ease and showed them what he was doing and explained to them what was happening in an age appropriate way.

I've had chronic plantar fasciitis and tendonitis around my Achilles. I'm from Los Angeles a referral to see a specialist can take a year. Luckily it's not like that her. The Doc suggested shockwave therapy, told me eventually it would heal, don't expect too much on the first treatment... I went to 3 different places a total of 4 times and the ingrown always came back. Had an ingrown toenail removal and the overall process was very quick and I had instant relief. Dr. Shalev was great! He explained everything very clearly and didn’t dance around questions, straight to the point. Staffs are very perfessional and outgoing. They go beyond and above to make sure you are happy before you leave the facility. My husband and I both patients due to our feet issues. This is great office and it is much appreciated for the timely responses and scheduling for any questions and concerns I had. I made a same day appointment one time which shows you how promptly they work. Also, the Doctor and the staff are very knowledgeable and will walk you through everything and addressed all of my questions.

I have had ingrown toenail’s all my life and was so scared to remove them the doctor talked me through the whole procedure and explained and answered every question I had really made me feel at ease great doctor would highly recommend
