I had a very good experience during my visit to the oncologist. Everything was well organized, and the staff was very helpful and professional. The oncologist provided excellent care and gave me his full attention throughout the consultation. He is very knowledgeable and carefully reviewed all my medical records regarding my past cancer history.
The medical assistant was very accommodating, and I was able to share all my concerns without feeling rushed. The phlebotomist who drew my blood was also excellent—very skilled, gentle, and fast. The whole process was done quickly and smoothly.
This was my first visit to a comprehensive cancer center, and I truly felt supported and well taken care of. Dr. Kingsley was very thorough and took the time to understand my condition in detail.
Overall, I highly recommend this clinic for anyone needing cancer care.

The doctor is great but the front of the house made a reservation for me six months out at 8 am. But when I get there they say I don’t have one. They could care less at the front desk and appointment desk. The people up front should get a job they like because they don’t like this job or care about the patients

Dr's are great....
Some of the best' their representatives in the office- VERY POOR- you ve got one that thinks she a insurance broker- shes given bad insurance list
( 1 year old ) papers and given bad insurance advise. After going to senior center and discussing this one person. 3 of them have transfered to w. Tropicana cancer center. Its sad- thoose Dr's dont deserve the lost of business.
Better office manager needed/ NOT THE NURSING STAFF..

Please! Do not go here if you value your life! This entire company is owned and controlled by one of the largest cancer Pharmaceutical corporations in the world. The literally have Financial motivation to keep you sick and keep giving you treatment. They gave my friend 25 + rounds of chemotherapy, when they should have had a maximum of six! Huntsman Cancer Institute, in Utah, was appalled!
They then tried to put my friend on palliative care because they thought the cancer wasn't going away, when in reality it was a totally new cancer and the original cancer was in remission. Thank God for Huntsman Cancer Institute they saved my friend's life, when Comprehensive Cancer Center was earning money and killing them.

I was referred by my Gastroenterologist to Dr Kingsley. The type of cancer I have is an aggressive variety according to my doctor.
The day after I was referred to Dr Kingsley I contacted the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. As soon as they received my pathology they called and scheduled additional tests and a appointment with an oncologist specializing in my type of cancer.
From first contact with Mayo to my meeting with my oncologist will take less than ten days.
Now back to Comprehensive Cancer and Dr Kingsley. Ten days have passed and not even a phone call.
Make your choices wisely.

My husband is very happy with the care he is getting from Dr. Thein. He & the staff coordinated all his testing, lab work, and appointments, so it made it much easier navigating through all the steps needed to treat his lung cancer. We live in Summerlin, and they were able to schedule his infusion treatments in the Summerlin center. Dr Thein is compassionate, caring, professional and knowledgeable. We trust him completely.

Have been going since 2018. Have had a few cancer cells linger then disappear all with the help of my doctor Fadi Braiteh. He is very caring and extremely knowledgeable about cancer He sees that I get blood work ups & Petscans to keep those cancer cells away. He also got me into a cancer program which has helped tremendously eliminating cancer cells.
I thank God that I chose him with all his knowledge of cancer.
I'm extremely happy with what he has done for me ( and many others)
He is one in a million doctor. I'm glad he's mine.

They didn't send over the blood test that they requested of me. I went to quest for no reason. Also, I asked to be checked for a certain antigen and they said they need to add it to the referral and that they would call me. This never happened. The doctor dismissed me too quickly without seeing any imaging or results. Other than that, I guess it was a waste of gas.

Unprofessional. I had an appointment scheduled and they waited to the day before my appointment to call and leave a voicemail canceling it and then not even go out of the way to recommend anything else except for going out of state to Utah or California even though I just got out of surgery. I have no idea what their actual services like but they are completely unprofessional and how they are handling stuff and the least they could have done is recommend something not out of state. Unprofessional monouns.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. The office staff at this establishment have no regard for patients health. It takes them a week to do anything knowing that everyone doesn’t have the time for that. They will not return your phone calls no matter how many times you have called. Why do i have to do YOUR job! I shouldn’t have to call for a week. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this. They will not care if you die! Lauren couldn’t even make ONE simple call to fix the issue! I am completely lost for words how bad this place treats ppl.

If you’re paying your bill with this cancer center using Medicare B, beware—when it comes time for your bill—you must meet a high $283/year deductible. PLUS, you’re responsible for co-pays of 20%. Nobody tells you this at this place. Receptionist told me Medicare would pay my visit & blood draw at 100%, but this was a lie—I got a bill for $252 that I’m responsible for. Promptly withdrew myself as a patient. They don’t wait an ordinary 30 days before sending you a bill—they bill you just after 14 days. Beware!

The front check in stuff the doctor and everyone in the back are amazing. It just gets a little stressful when it’s time to schedule your appointment for a return visit not all those schedulers are very nice. It seems they are irritated that they need to help you to reschedule.
Today Dec 5, 2025 we went in just to reschedule an appointment and we were helped by Beverly. She was amazing. 😃It was so different from my previous experience from the scheduling department. Hope to see Beverly again when we go back to reschedule. 🙏🏼

I hope I don't have to go to this palace again where the ensuranse and ensuranse is more important than the patient. They do whatever then want with your results. Without explanation.my first impressions with Doctor Prasad was horrible he ask me like three question and writing in the computer. I felt like piece of nothing in there. Finaly after my IRON infusion.
I Asked for change the Doctor
Prasad the told me. They have to move me to another office if want to change for Another doctor because is the clinic policy. But it's OK .I hope I don't have to go again in those places. If don't feel comfortable with your services , I have all my rights to open my mouth. We are not animal we are people.

Finding the right words to express my gratitude feels impossible, but I want to thank my incredible oncology team - Dr. Parikh and Bethany as well as the amazing Chemo Nurses for giving me the gift of life and hope. From the moment I was diagnosed with breast cancer, you surrounded me with compassion, strength, and unwavering support.
You didn’t just treat my cancer—you cared for me as a person. You listened when I was scared, explained things when I was confused, and celebrated every small victory right alongside me. Your knowledge, kindness, and dedication guided me through one of the hardest chapters of my life.
Because of your expertise and encouragement, I am now a survivor. Every day I wake up grateful for the care you provided and the hope you restored. You gave me more than treatment—you gave me another chance at life.
Thank you for everything you do—for your tireless work, your empathy, and your belief in healing. I will forever be thankful for the role you played in my journey and for helping me find strength I didn’t know I had.
With endless gratitude and love,

This is a first visit review. It is the very early beginning of my husband's care. I was not sure what to expect. First impressions are lasting, so they say, and I was struck by the number of people in the reception area. Why so many? Do all these people have cancer? Wow.
And behind the scenes was an intensity that I never felt in any other kind of clinic. (I've been in a few!) The aura of "mission and duty" was palpable. Our Dr Prasad was impressive. I definitely felt we were in the right place. Thank you.

I’m 75 years old with all sorts of medical problems including multiple myeloma.
4 days and 4 chemo capsules later (out of 14) I had my first (hopefully last) heart attack. I was hospitalized for 13 days. I notified my oncologist during Admitting process on a Tuesday morning. 4 days later I was notified a second prescription for the same chemo capsules that caused my heart attack had been ordered.
Was this a doctor or computer error?
Do they actually have a computer that orders prescriptions without doctor supervision? That’s not diligent if true.
Saturday morning the pharmaceutical company calls me to find out why prescription is being canceled. I tell them “heart attack.”
They’re asking me why my oncologist didn’t report this to them or the FDA.
Anyway with Comprehensive Cancer Center the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, and neither hand is complying with adverse effects reporting requirements.
I’m of the opinion they didn’t break any laws, but they certainly breached my trust.
I fired them.

With health care providers dropping insurance companies, it's making it hard on the patients. My brother is stuck in limbo between insurance companies & he was diagnosed for the second time with cancer. They will not let us talk to the oncologist but we're polite enough to say they will send what medical records to the new doctor needs. We both have been patients over there & you would think that in an emergency situation, they would be more accommodating with any of the patients. Thanks to the system & government health care for any of us depends on the almighty dollar.

After getting my referral rejected by four doctors at one of their other locations I got it rejected by two others here before one doctor was able to accept it. With this doctor, it's his way or the highway and if you go against what he says, he has an unprofessional attitude. I was at my second PET/CT scan in town in the office and he was having them withhold my scan because it was two weeks before his meeting and he wanted the results when he wanted them. I argued with the office that I was already there and that I did not have another chance before his meeting to do this. I told them I was going to come down to the office and talk with them and they took that as a threat and decided to withdraw me as a patient of theirs. Luckily I have a second Oncologist and got it done anyway and can continue my treatment. As you can see with the other reviews, I am not alone in this so keep looking for other doctors, they are out there.
They injected me with chemo therapy, damaging what chemo does, and then puts me aside over wanting to talk with them about my scan over my body. Is that a way you would want to be treated?

I was referred to by spine and brain institute. “It will be a week” before they contact you. It’s been half a month or so. I was first scheduled for the 10th of October, then bumped up to the 1st of October. Now these people called me to rescheduled me again. My work is upset with me because I keep giving them different days. I refuse to reschedule the day. I dunno what type of game these receptionist are playing but I refuse to play it. Turns out I’m being transferred to another physician. And my October 1st appointment is canceled.

Dr. Kingsley is not very nice. Two years ago when I was his patient, he prescribed Taxol and administered to me on a Friday. Unfortunately I passed out from it and the nurse was able to revive me but did not document the incident in my medical record. I was asking to see him that day but I was told he is off that Friday. A week later I was able to see him and had no idea what happened, he was looking for that nurse but she was out on surgery he said. I told Dr. Kingsley I don’t want to see him anymore and don’t want to take that Taxol medication and got mad and said I cannot find any other Oncology doctor. He has bad attitude and I think he needs to retire now. Not a happy patient with cancer comprehensive center, they are not compassionate and they treat you like number in an assembly line in their chemo room.

The appointment scheduling system at CCC is terrible. if you can't answer the phone when the scheduler calls, you are in an endless game of phone tag. The scheduler will leave a message to call back and schedule an appointment but when you call back the person that answers your call can't schedule an appointment and leaves a message for the scheduler to call you back again, and the game just repeats until you can answer the call.

If I could leave zero stars, I would.
My loved one came to the Comprehensive Cancer Center in urgent need of a life-saving blood transfusion, and the experience was absolutely devastating — both medically and emotionally.
First, it was already a nightmare just to get scheduled. We spent days navigating red tape, disconnected phone calls, and staff who couldn’t seem to coordinate a basic appointment. And once we finally got it? She arrived depleted, physically weak, and in desperate need of care — only to be met with cold, dismissive treatment and zero urgency.
She missed her appointment because of her condition, not because she was irresponsible — and yet the staff treated her like a problem, not a patient. At a cancer center, where empathy and urgency should be second nature, she was made to feel invisible. That’s not just unprofessional — it’s dangerous.
This facility is supposed to be a place of healing and hope. Instead, it felt like a bureaucratic machine that has lost all connection to its purpose. The lack of communication, compassion, and coordination is a serious failure in patient care.
If you’re considering treatment here, I urge you to ask hard questions. And if anyone at this center is reading this: someone needs to seriously re-evaluate the systems in place — because right now, they are failing the very people they claim to serve.
Patients battling cancer and chronic illness deserve better.

Worst new patient appointment experience I have ever experienced with ANY health care office. CCCN only provides a number to a central answering service that forwards it on to their new patient appointment desk. Apparently they are the only unit that can schedule appointments -- and it takes days to get a call back.
I was in a meeting when they finally called, so I missed my golden opportunity. I have been trying for days to get them to call back, with no success. Patients will die waiting to schedule an appointment. UNACCEPTABLE PHONE APPT PROCESS.

I waiver between 4 to 5 stars, but it’s certainly not because of lack of skilled care. The staff are amazing from front desk to doctors, and I love the chemo nurses. But what can be frustrating is trying to get ahold of someone in a hurry (if you’re running late, or need to reschedule, etc). It is helpful to get to know your doctor’s specific nurse & scheduler. Also be prepared to spend a little more time than you might have planned. Sometimes they’ll take labs and wait on results before they move forward, so that can add on an additional 20 mins. So worth it going there though .

Absolutely the worst place to come if you are looking for care.
Scheduling can not get appointments straight. Made an appointment over a month ago and they say they have no record of appointment I made. They had me scheduled for a port draw which is interesting since you usually dont get blood work unless you are seeing the Doctor.
They managed to squeeze me in and saw I indeed did have an appointment that was cancelled. By who? And why?
Ever interaction I have with comprehension cancer is me fixing some mistake and I’m tired of it! Why can’t they deliver good care? Sad thing is that this is the best place to come if you live in Las Vegas. Something needs to be done

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the management of my iron infusion appointment on 21 February 2025. I have serious concerns regarding the process and potential risks that resulted from deviations in your standard procedures. Below is a detailed account of my experience:
Incident Summary:
• Appointment and Arrival:
I was scheduled for an infusion and a follow-up at 11:00 AM. I arrived early; however, I was not seen until well after my scheduled time.
• Initial Evaluation:
I was checked in by my physician's nurse who I had to remind to take my vitals because she had forgotten to take them at my last appointment, she offered no apologies for her oversight and proceeded as I had said nothing to her, then I was evaluated by the attending hematologist. After drawing blood to check my iron levels (which were found to be 11.5), it was recommended that I proceed with my final iron infusion.
• Pre-Infusion Preparation:
An IV was placed, and I was administered Tylenol and a steroid. Due to previous complications, I specifically requested that my iron infusion be run very slowly.
• Delay and Miscommunication:
Following 30 minutes of saline and steroid administration, the iron infusion was supposed to begin and continue for an additional 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the technician (tec) inadvertently failed to start the iron infusion and only activated the timer. Despite alerting another technician, I received a dismissive response.
• Further Delays:
When my assigned technician eventually returned after being prompted by the machine’s timer, he stated that the infusion was complete. I informed him that I had not yet received my iron infusion. He then started the iron infusion, which ran for approximately 24 minutes.
• Adverse Symptoms and Inadequate Monitoring:
During the infusion, I began experiencing shortness of breath, coughing and an urgent need to use the bathroom. After alerting the technician again, I was unplugged, went to the bathroom, and took several deep breaths. Upon returning, I found that the technician had returned after several absences, declared that I was “finally done,” and removed the IV with one minute of the infusion remaining. Notably, the IV was not flushed with saline prior to removal.
Potential Risk Factors and Safety Concerns:
• Delayed Initiation of Iron Infusion: The infusion was not started at the appropriate time, leading to an incomplete and potentially unsafe administration.
• Inadequate Monitoring: There was a lack of continuous monitoring during the infusion process, particularly after the initial delay.
• Dismissive Staff Response: My repeated alerts regarding the status of my infusion were met with nonchalant and dismissive responses.
• Premature Termination and Improper IV Removal: The infusion was ended prematurely, and the IV was removed without the proper flush, which could increase the risk of complications.
Given these concerns, I respectfully request that an internal review of the infusion protocols and staff training be conducted. I would appreciate a written response detailing the measures that will be taken to address these issues and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
CCC Patient

I found out I had breast cancer Aug 31, 2023. I'm also brca 2+.
Since then my oncologist Dr. Liawaty Ho has had me do chemo, double mastectomy, radiation, and hysterectomy to rule out any and all chances of my cancer coming back anywhere in my body. The front desk is always friendly and remembers your name. The chemo team is friendly and offers snacks and blankets, the radiation team is gentle and kind as well as Dr. Farzin whom was my radiation oncologist. Dr. Ho is very thorough and does any tests possible to help maintain a healthy life. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my cancer treatments/care. Shiela, the financial assistance lady is also very kind and does whatever it takes to ease the pain of the financial struggles that come with cancer and treatments. Terrible experience to schedule a new patient appointment so far : Submitted my request online providing the complete paperwork : insurance info, lab report & Dr’s referral on 10/8/2024. Indicated that I would be flexible with the doctor to reduce the wait.
"Name of Provider Requested : First Available"
Received following confirmation via eMail :
“Thank you for choosing Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada. Your submission has been received. A copy is included below for your records. Our appointment staff will contact you within 72 hours”
Never heard back, so I followed up on 10/18/2024 via phone. After having confirmed my identity with scheduling clerk she asked me for my preferred provider. I mentioned a Dr’s name but also said that I am flexible as stated in my online request. Obviously this answer exceeded clerk’s comprehension having her respond that I have been assigned to the wrong Dr. which doesn’t make sense as I specified “First Available”. Totally broken business processes, left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Hopefully management reads this, gets its act together and respond either via phone (and use voice mailbox if I don’t pick up because of the tons of scam calls), or eMail

This place is the WORST. I have been trying to get in for an AMBULATORY REFERRAL for iron transfusions and this place is clearly disorganized. My doctor sent in my referral over a month ago and they keep saying they don't have my referral. I went back to my doctor and she gave my a copy of my referral to send to this facility, which I did email to them.
Then the woman said she still needed my records (which were sent with the referral) so I messaged my doctor so she could once again send the records and referral. This place is so called still waiting for my records. Then today someone called me to schedule and appointment, but she was looking for a completely different patient. Why is my number in you system under someone else?
I'm still waiting to hear back about MY referral. When I called them back today, I waited 30 minutes on hold just to be transferred back to a different call center when the first lady who answered the phone told me she was transferring me to scheduling. I have to wait for the scheduler to call me back. What?! Total hot garbage mess. I can't image having to come here for cancer treatment when they can't even get scheduling and referrals right. 👎🏽

Absolutely horrific experiences mostly my last one. First my doctor has had no follow up when radiology is requesting more testing, then he takes a personal leave still no follow up when I do get an appointment to have my any scans reviewed they schedule me with another doctor that I’ve never seen. After that I show up to this new doctor appointment and check in the receptionist allows me to sit there over an hour of waiting I check now that most patients are gone what my place tk be seen is they said nothing for another 15 minutes then said go into this dark office with no lights on and a girl at a computer the long me now that the Doctor I’m scheduled for left earlier in the day after all the wait time checking in they are now telling me this talking down to me like I did something wrong they’re very unethical and rude staff they then tell me I would have to come back the next day to see this anonymous doctor this is a cancer center why are these people working here with such lack of accountability and adding extra stress to us patient’s I still have not been seen. I have no care now for my conditions and I’m sure comprehensive cancer institute has no concern about my treatment or care in Las Vegas Nevada on Twain and eastern ave march 2024

I have never, ever in my lifetime, and I'm in my 50's, had to deal with somebody this irate and rude and ask me, "what does it matter" when I'm asking her questions about the test because of my fear of claustrophobic. She really needs a different job if thats how she is, probably no one would hire her if they knew how she treated people!!!!! Please CCC address this lady or better yet, relpace her with someone that knows how to speak to people WITHOUT YELLING AT THEM!!!!!
The girl that checked me out, (The computers were down so she couldn't even schedule people, which is understandable,) was so busy doing her own personal things like snacking and scrolling on her phone, She didn't even give me the instructions to do before the pet scan which is VERY IMPRORTANT She was supposed to give me an instruction sheet for the testing!!!!! Also when you call to talk to someone in prior authorization the phone just goes to a fast busy signal ?? Love the Doctor but I think it's time to find a new one.

Before I write anything I have to give my eternal thank you to the late Dr. Nicholas J. Vogelzang for saving my life. I was diagnosed with stage 3A cancer in May 2020 and was told I had 6 months to live. Dr. Vogelzang and his wonderful staff got to work and helped me huge with different kinds of treatment to keep me surviving. It's been tough but his creative trials have kept me on earth fighting for the last 3 1/2 years, well beyond the dark 6 months that was projected. Unfortunately, in March 2022, Dr. Vogelzang himself got sick and immediately had to go to hospice care where he would pass away in September that year. This man sacrificed his own health to make sure others had a somewhat better outlook on life whether the results were good or bad. Personally Dr. V, as I affectionately called him, was truly like an Uncle to me and I will never, ever forget him for all he's done for Southern Nevada and the world with his kind bedside hospitality, his humor, his creativity, his brutal honesty and genuine love he had for his patients. Dr. V is never forgotten as long as I have breath in my body.
I want to also give praise to Dr. Gregory Obara, Dr. Edwin Kingsley, Dr. Liawaty Ho, nurse Justin, former study coordinator Sheila Lopez, current study coordinator Johanna and the rest of the wonderful staff of The Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada at the Eastern and Twain Avenue location for the continued awesome care they're giving me as my battle continues. When I ring that remission bell, I know Dr. Vogelzang's spirit will be right there with me and he will be among the people I loved and lost due to cancer that I will dedicate that wonderful day to. I am eternally grateful to everyone at that center. I recommend this place for cancer care and the other types of care they offer.
By the way, I hope one day the Eastern/Twain location gets renamed to Dr. Nicholas J Vogelzang Center of Oncology and Research. I will certainly be there and cheering for the honorary dedication. He certainly deserves the honor for all he's done for oncology research and lives were saved for his medical breakthroughs. One day I will create an autobiographical novel including all he's done for me. Slight plug for me, I am a novelist with books available on Amazon if you want to check them out. The staff of the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada seem to enjoy what I've written so far. Check them out for yourselves.

I began my official journey with cancer on October 10th 2022. I was diagnosed in Feb of 2023 and began the course of treatment in April. The entire staff I've come in contact with at this location has made my quest a very pleasant experience. Cancer is never a pleasant thing so I choose to explain. As I began this journey with family near I was still alone. I had fear and anxiety of the unknown. I watched my grandma aunts and cousins etc all go thru different types of this disease and it affected them all very differently. That in itself scared me all the thoughts of what could happen... after I had surgery I felt some relief and some of the fear left me because i was lucky and it was very early. Then my radiation was scheduled and day before I was to start I lost my medical coverage. I went in and spoke with financial counselor downhearted I tried to cancel as I could not afford this. I was told to go home and wait for a call. I did as asked. In less than 24 hrs i was told to come in as scheduled. I wasnt thrown away or put aside. they helped me! When i walked in for my first treatment all fear and worry subsided. The radiation dept staff made me feelcomfortable, as if i was a part of this extended family. It made it easier for me. i found myself not only wanting to go to treatment despite how it made me feel, they made me want to be there early even if just to wait and meet others facing their own journey. It began as a nod of the head as we silently encourage each other and that grew into conversations and getting to know each other. And as we were greeted one by one.
They knew our names and spoke to us just like family. Everyone has their own experiences and opinions. But for me, these people will always be my extended, ohana.

Almost impossible to make follow up appointments. The 20 yr old something girls they have working the calendars hardly ever follow up with the doctor instructions. Unless you had an appointment that day. Living with a chronic illness and having to deal with this kind of imcopetence from the support staff is what led me to stop treating myself back in October. The nurses and Doctor assistan are A + material. Which is why it makes me frustrated that their front office support is so imcopetent in answering patient questions and setting up appointments. And the downside is you have to go thru them for everything be it labs or follow ups. In the past year alone I had to go to the office myself instead of just being able to call in and make Dr appointments. I would be confronted with callbacks of more than 24 hours having to constantly call back and drive down there to get simple answers in 1 day. Having to work and having to wait for a call back of their choosing is almost impossible to live a normal day to day life of working and having time to yourself, since you have to practically be glued to your phone 24 7 for the miracle call from the front office girls
Also God forbid you miss a call from them because again it is impossible to get a hold of them. You'd call back and be confronted with a message "sorry I'm away from my desk I will give you a call back in 24 hours" So if its and emergency and you need an appointment ASAP better get yourself in the car because I'm assuring you all of them would be sitting at their desks doing nothing but collecting a check.

Dr.Presad is such a joke of a doctor. If you schedule an appointment with this scumbag no need to worry about being an hour and a half late since that’s normally when he’d be getting around to you anyway. He does not respect your time and when you finally get the chance to see him he begins to display Joe Biden type behavior. Doesn’t know have any answers to your questions and it’s obvious he’s there just to collect a paycheck. Please, if you value your health at all you would choose a different but more importantly, a qualified doctor.

Dr. Ed Kingsley's office capitalizes on FEAR of cancer for PROFIT. I have a broken neck. My blood work was concerning to my surgeon; he wanted clearance from oncology. I have had three spine surgeries delayed for clearance so he could cash in on genetic testing, with full knowledge insurance companies do not cover genetic testing. His own office has a three page itemized list of insurance companies that do not cover the testing he requires to grant clearance for unrelated surgery. His nurse told me I would die on the table without having this done. During my next appointment he asked me if I had $1400 cash for the test. I said no. He said, then you'll be fine. I said, so if I don't have cash, then I don't have cancer?! How is that possible? None of this has changed my elevated blood cell count. We will "blood let" you before surgery and diagnose you by ruling out sleep apnea, he tells me (also not covered by insurance). Never sent the order to the sleep testing company IN FLORIDA. Never ran any tests (standard best practices for leukemia is a bone marrow biopsy), and told me not to come back until I had the Florida sleep study. Five months of delays, no testing, no diagnosis. I consider this medical terrorism and I think it is disgusting.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a major doctor's visit. And I have been here once before to the same result.
First I waited over 1 hour until I mentioned to receptionist that I had been waiting for my name to be called. She seemed annoyed that I would even mention it to her. Well at least I got called with 5 minutes from there. The blond nurse who took me in was rude and seemed upset that I would want to take a minute to fill out some paperwork since I suffer from a bad back. At the 83rd minute the nurse who took my vitals left and the doctor came in at the 94th minute. Out within 2 minutes from there.

The wife called twice for an appointment and actually spoke to someone BOTH times saying they would get back to her for an appointment. That was TWO weeks ago!!

I love this place. I had to go here to meet with a hematologist after my PCP referred me after a blood test. Of course the name was a little unnerving, but the staff all made my experience so nice. My hematologist ended up being Dr. Prasad. He was amazing. Listened to everything I had to say, didn’t rush me, explained things and made the visit very comforting. I wish I had got all of the nurse’s names who helped me, because they were all so amazingly kind and made me feel very comfortable and important. The one nurse whose name I do remember, Lydia, was very sweet. Explaining things to me. I believe I’ve also talked to her a few times on the phone to set other appointments. Everyone from the nurses doing the COVID screening to the people at the front desk and the nurses in the back, the person who did my bloodwork in the lab(this was the easiest blood work I’ve ever had done!) and the doctor were beyond amazing! I literally have told everyone how much I love it here. I have to go back for my first ever iron infusion and I feel completely at ease knowing I’ll have this staff handling everything. I feel safe, understood and like they actually care about their patients. Thank you all! -Alexis T.

We were told to arrive at 9:45 am for a 10:00 am appointment. We checked in, paid the Co-pay and waited. An hour later, my dad was finally called only to be told that he couldn’t have his procedure done, because he had to have labs first. Somehow, communication broke down between the front desk, the lab and the people who were supposed to perform the procedure. We were advised that the technician was waiting for my dad for over an hour, but they never came to check on why he was delayed. Now we’re being told we have to wait another hour and a half, in addition to the time we’ve already waited, and no one can provide an answer as to what happened. You would think that when you’re dealing with peoples lives, your staff would be more diligent. People make mistakes, yes, but to “forget” a patient, is inexcusable. Badly done.
