I recently had my first visit with Dr. Craig Weingrow, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Joe is very rude and unprofessional. Don’t even bother speaking to him, immediately transfer to his supervisor. I called trying to schedule an appointment and because they don’t accept my secondary insurance they refused to make the appointment. Pure laziness because it only takes a few extra steps to get referrals when the office only accepts one of your insurance’s. I then said I’ll pay cash just make the appointment and they refused. I hope their Doctors are aware that they are turning paying patients away. What a joke

I've been coming here for over 8 years. DR.Weingrow sets the bar high when it comes to primary care! NOT only does he take his time with you he is caring and compassionate.
I've never been treated so kindly and felt like someone actually cares like he does. I went in for a physical and through the blood work he found I had low vitamin b. I finally have energy and can have a normal life. It doesn't stop there during covid I gained 48 lbs and when I came in we discussed weight loss options. I started the weight loss ozempic I think it's called semaglutide and now I've lost 55 lbs. The fat burning Injections really help my energy levels! I love coming in here I feel like family, the guy upfront Joe is always nice and beyond helpful. Jordyn always helps me get in!
The medical assistant Christine has been there since me, she always helps me and is Profesional. The office manager goes above and beyond to assist with any questions I have as well.
I would say for any of your medical needs this is the place to go, from common colds, routine care, weight loss and everything in between.

Upon entering the male receptionist started to check us in. He would answer my questions with “yeah dude”. I don’t want to be talked to using “dude”. It’s unprofessional.
While he was checking us in there was an older couple, the woman and patient, was using a walker between a fellow office employee’s car and another car in the parking lot. He processed to open the drawer next to him and push and set off the car alarm to his fellow employee’s car to try to get these folks to move away from it. The woman using the walker was unable to come up the sidewalk ramp because vomit was right in the middle of her path.
At check in my husband forgot his photo ID and the same male receptionist went off in panic. Another woman who was office staff was much calmer and just asked if he happened to have a picture of it he could show instead which luckily he did. My husband should have been prepared but this guy was going off about it. He was so unprofessional it was unsettling. He definitely set the tone for our experience and because of it was part in losing us as returning to this facility.
The girl who brought me back and took vitals was very pleasant and kind. I was told before my appointment that if I asked anything outside of questions pertaining to my physical I would be charged $95.00 as a fee. My physical is covered by insurance but I wasn’t even able to get my prescriptions filled, that I have been on for years, with out paying his $95.00 fee. In my opinion having your established prescriptions ,filled for the year, should be part of every physical and I shouldn’t have to pay extra for that. This office shows where their heart is and that’s to nickel and dime you for everything. I didn’t feel I could even say much to Weingrow when he came in in fear of having this $95.00 charge tacked on so I kept pretty quiet. He didn’t ask hardly any questions. He just proceeded to tell me to lose weight and insinuate that I don’t exercise, watch carbs, drink enough, get enough rest, that I eat big meals at one sitting. Never once did he ask what my diet looked like or what I already do or have done. He just felt it was his time to preach to me about it but didn’t ask me one thing about what I was already implementing or lack there of. His bedside manner wasn’t caring or even that he wanted to understand or know…he just wanted to preach. I personally didn’t care for him because I felt like he lacked being able to try to understand or see where I was coming from. Because he didn’t ask anything, which is just wisdom so you don’t look stupid, he didn’t know that I’m currently on a diet plan with a weight loss program from back east where we moved from. If he has cared to ask he would have known his preaching wasn’t needed.
Again it just felt like I was a just a number that leads to a payout.
When I picked up my blood work paperwork at the desk upon leaving my husband went in for his physical and felt the same. As he was leaving the same male receptionist asked the other office staff why we were able to leave without paying anything. She explained it was a physical so insurance would pay it and we didn’t ask any further questions so we weren’t charged the $95.00 a piece so we didn’t have to pay anything. Who asks that? They set a vibe and I picked it up and it’s all about money. I found this place and decided to try it because of high reviews, but high reviews isn’t always a reflection of great service. Were my husband and I able to pay $95.00 a piece…yes, my husband is a corporate accountant, but just because we can pay doesn’t mean we should have to. Our insurance pays for us to get yearly physicals and paying $95.00 to have my prescription refilled is a joke. Once the office staff shared this with me I just felt like they were trying to make money off of me any way they could. Luckily, I had a Obgyn appointment right before this one, so I went back to that office and asked for a full blood panel. I have hypothyroidism so I need my prescriptions to be able to be refilled. They did that for me and I never had to pay $95.00 to Weingrow.

Best doctor I've had in years. Cash paid, no insurance which is fine by me and my family. Stays in the room until all problems are addressed and solved. Follow ups always great. This was such a wonderful experience. I haven’t renewed my card in years so I was very anxious to do everything again but this place made it so easy and relaxing for me. They gave me water, the nurse was so sweet and had a small convo with me as we took vitals and the doctor was wonderful too. It isn’t a hassle or scary to get help here, it’s very relieving to have people so ready to want to help you.

I found this practice to be extremely unprofessional. I was seen for a regular check up and the office seemed unusual to me. It seemed almost like a pain clinic and had ads for marijuana and cbd products in the “lobby”. I use that term loosely because it reminded me of the front room of a college roommate. There was a small reception desk and an old black leather couch that had seen better days. To say the vibe was bizarre is an understatement. The person checking in and out at the reception desk was a sketchy dude, to say the least, and charged me a copay of 20$ which is not congruent with the copay fee schedule for my major insurance carrier. The medical assistant helping the dr was equally unprofessional and had no medical terminology knowledge and trouble answering general questions asked about my vitals and labs ordered. My recommendation is to STAY AWAY. Not sure what type of operation they’re really running here but if you’re in need of actual medical advice…this is not the practice.

Very professional and friendly.
As soon as I walked into the office Joe greeted me and made me feel welcomed . I was in and out in about an hour . The doctor was very knowledgeable and patient . I had questions about my blood work and Dr L took time to make sure I understand everything.

The pharmacy was charging me over $1000 for medicine and Teresa took time to call the pharmacy for me and I was able to pick my medicine up for just $10 .

Some people can truly be so awful during the scariest times of your life which is when your health is affected. I had given up and continued to fly to my old state for care. Dr. Craig Weingrow, MD is a FANTASTIC PHYSICIAN! I was referred to his office by a few of my nurses at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center while I was a patient in the ICU for over 2 weeks, shortly after moving here from Michigan in 2007! Needless to say, I needed to find all my needed Specialists and I MUST ADMIT...I WAS SOMEWHAT FEARFUL; simply because I heard that Las Vegas didn't have the greatest Health Specialists, especially coming from 'U of M', Providence Hospitals, Beaumont Hospital and of course Henry Ford Hospitals, etc.
After calling to schedule an appointment to meet him, he FAR EXCEDDED ANY AND ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS!
Long story short, I have Crohn's Disease (diagnosed at age 22) and when I was 29 I learned that I was born with a rare Birth Defect called 'Medullary Sponge Kidneys'! It took 2 weeks to diagnose my kidney disease back in Michigan!
I pass kidney stones daily, which of course is painful, however Dr. Weingrow wasn't familiar with the rare birth defect,
just as many of my Specialists, (Urologists and Nephrologists), so that wasn't a surprise, however, he asked me to return for a follow up 1-mth. later, which I scheduled.
I WAS SO VERY IMPRESSED THAT HE ACTUALLY RESEARCHED MY BIRTH DEFECT AND I LEARNED EVEN MORE ABOUT MY KIDNEYS!
☆ He told me about 'NORD', (National Organization of Rare Diseases), which many of my Michigan Specialists told me about back in August 2000, however there was even more information that he was able to obtain because of him being a Doctor! He provided me with copies of all the information he found on scheduled me with a Nutritionist and
Dietitian that taught me what types of foods, vitamins, minerals, etc., thatth good for BOTH of my Crohn's Disease AND Medullary Sponge Kidneys, ESPECIALLY because what's good for the kidneys may not be good for my Crohn's! Therefore it's a delicate balancing act, however it has certainly made a difference and I owe it to Dr. Weingrow for researching NOT just the one disease, but both!
Sad to say, that I actually learned more from him then my Michigan Specialists!
He then referred me to a few different Urologists, Nephrologists and I already had a Gastroenterologist, which I later learned that the Doctor I saw was considered the best in the valley!
☆ Sidenote: I was admitted to Summerlin Hospital again two separate times within 6 weeks late last year and earlier this year and found a new, caring and very compassionate FEMALE Gastroenterologist that I am now seeing; it's the first time I've ever had a female Doctor...now I just need to find a great female OBGYN!
☆ You simply can't go wrong with Dt. Craig Weingrow! Also, Joe (at the front desk) is also very friendly and has a great personality and attitude too!

I am at a loss as to why this doctor comes up with a search for functional medicine. I had several years of experience with a functional medicine doctor when we lived in another state, and I was expecting the same type of knowledge and medical ideology. Different members of my family went to him several times and his bedside manner was always flat, and he was fully Western medicine oriented. He is not functional medicine. Love this Dr. And office staff :) I have been to so many Dr's and the office staff is rude and Dosent care about you. This office staff address's me by name with a smile. They always help get me in ASAP! Carmella and Christine work up front and are always so nice and fast! And Mariecxy always gives me my B-12 shot with no pain! And jessica is a supervisor and helps out. Teresa is the main manager and is so easy to deal with. The Dr. addressed all my concerns and took care of me when I had a really bad kidney stone. Highly recommend this Dr. And office!
