I'm extremely disappointed in Dr. Darrick Neibaur who performed my cataract surgery. He told me that for my surgery he needs to use Ora system, which normally it isn't covered by the Insurance or at least not up-front. Its cost is $750. To reimburse me my Insurance needed a statement from Dr. Darrick Neibaur confirming that Ora was necessary for my surgery. I spent 2-3 months trying to reach him. I sent him a written request, I called and emailed his manager Romy Ibarra multiple times. No response from the doctor or from the manager. I even scheduled a meeting with both of them, but they didn't show up. What an ignorance! I put so much work just to get that statement, but I couldn't.
Dr. Darrick Neibaur failed me. I will never go to see him again or recommend him. There are so many other eye doctors in town. We need doctors who care about their patients.

My diabetic eye exam took a total of about two hours. That includes about 45 minutes waiting room time, review of my health with Helene (who was quite fabulous), waiting for eye dilation to take affect, and a thorough exam by Dr Neibaur. I found him to be very pleasant and good communicator. He answered all my questions. I received my new prescription quite easily. A very busy location!

Prior to seeing Dr Neibaur, I had two appointments/ two different places/ two sets of eyeglasses/two different readings and I still couldn't see distance.
Dr Neibaur diagnosed my problem..cataracts in both eyes along with dry eye condition which he recommended an OTC med that I could use every day.
I will be having the cataracts corrected soon.
Looking forward to seeing clearly again after the procedure!!

I've seen many eye doctors during my lifetime. I got my first pair of glasses when I was 7 years old. Dr. Neibaur DO has been my eye doctor since I moved to Nevada in 1999. Not real sure the exact date that I had my first visit. I am now 76 years old and can attest that he is the very best and most friendly eye doctor I have ever been to. While the office is often crowded every one seems to get seen quickly. From the front desk and every staff member is extremely friendly and efficient. I am very pleased with his office and always had a very good experience.

The front desk staff was super helpful, the technician that checked my prescription and ran tests was very professional and Dr Neibaur answered all of my questions about glasses, contacts, and the possibility of lasik.
