Dr Blank is apparently slow according to his reviews. He is also dangerous. His coworker prescribed twice the starting dose of a stimulant medication to my son causing him to be breathless with a super fast heart rate (tachycardia). His mom didn’t know any better and hadn’t shared the prescription with me. After I saw my son the first day he started it. I asked to see the prescription bottle again, and I immediately noticed that there was a problem twice the recommended FDA starting dose of 5 mg twice a day.. Dr. Blank‘s worker Dr. Freeman a nurse practitioner prescribed this overdose to my son and when I noticed it practice immediately reduced the medication by half, but the damage was already done. To add insult to injury of my little six-year-old son, Dr. Blank called me to tell me that it was OK even though all clinical practice guidelines indicate the stimulant medication‘s should be started very as low as possible and as slowly titrated as possible to avoid serious side effects of irritability, insomnia, low appetite, and even cardiac problems. Desert Valley pediatrics is a dangerous practice. They’re slow and I would avoid them.

Dr. Blank was my son's pediatrician twenty years ago, and I have fond memories of his advice and care for our boy. May Adonai bless him.

I love Dr Blank but be prepared in four years I have never waited under an hour in the waiting room them another long wait in the back. Do schedule anything for a few hours after your appointment time. Good doctor Terrible scheduling

Dr. David Blank has been there for all four of my children's needs! He is a great Doctor and has been for the last 11 years. There is sometimes a wait because of his high demand! But well worth it cause he knows what hes doing. A quality dr. Is what you want! Then hes your Doctor!

Dr. Blank ALWAYS, not "sometimes", ALWAYS has an hour+ wait. For a well check, thats completely obnoxious. We have 3 kids, and all, well, 2 have gone to him and visits have never lasted more than 10 minutes, tops. Finally had enough. Had an appointment the other day, and the waiting room is packed. 1.5 hour wait. Rescheduled the appointment for Dr. Nyarko, and I was 20 minutes early, and only 2 people waiting. Unfortunately, after sitting in a tortuously quiet room w a 9mo old for 30 minutes, listening to some baby scream on the other side of the wall, I dressed my kid back up, and we left. $$ means more to these people than quality. Why else would you overbook an hour+ every. Single. Day. I can't stomach giving them the business of my last kid. Going to find a new Dr. Who believes in quality, not quantity.

I think in the age of artificial intelligence and instant gratification, the art of getting it right has been lost. In most professions this doesn't mean much. But when you are in Pediatrics, getting it right means our kids have a future. Dr. Blank gives every patient the same attention, if its at 8:00am on a Monday or 3:00pm on a Friday, rest assured you have the best Pediatrician in the Valley's attention for your appointment.

Dr. Blank might have a bit of a wait sometimes, but he is worth the wait. He takes time to make the child feel comfortable, is very informative, and is always patient with any questions.

Dr blank is nice but if you plan to use him make sure you have no plans for the rest of the day because you'll be hours behind.
