I can't say enough good things about this location. We moved away, but now we're back on this side of town. We looked up Desert Eye Care to make our yearly appointment. My son and I were presently surprised from check in at the front desk. To being called back to see the doctor, to have all the tests completed. We had at least 4 different tests on the machines completed. Which was for not only eye health but also that we know what our new script would be. Dr Rachna Gupta was absolutely wonderful and explained everything along the way. Both my son and I were very happy with the overall experience. After our eye test we moved back outside to the waiting room and met with Claudia who assisted us with choosing frames. Using her expertise to guide us along to pick the best frames for our face, and which frames to hold the lenses in the frames that we picked.
She was very helpful and explained everything also to us. Now we just wait for our frames to come in, to get the call to pick up our glasses. Definitely check this place out support your local owned businesses, which is also Woman Owned!

Today was my first time here and although I did not see the doctor Alma made me feel like any of the regular patients. The frame of my glasses came loose and I lost the screw. I called my regular optometrist and they couldn't get me in for 2 weeks. I called Desert Eye Center and they told me to come in before 5 and they would see what they could do. I was a little nervous at first because of the outside of the building but once I opened the door, I felt a lot better. The office was beautiful and the staff members I interacted with were very nice and attentive! Thank you for fixing my glasses today in such a short time.

The staff were complaining that Dr. Gupta was behind on appointments again and weighing whether they should leave at 5 pm or if they should stay for the sake of the people that waited. A specific mother daughter duo came in to get their exam at 1:30 pm and it wasn't until 3:30 pm that they were picking out their glasses. I had scheduled this appointment before work but thankfully I was asked to come in later or else I would've been late. It's not that the office was busy, great for the office, but to wait for over an hour for an interaction that was less than 10 minutes is crazy. Doctors have to respect their patients time. Fingers crossed there isn't a problem with my prescription because another lady had one

I GOT AN EYE INFECTION FROM MY VISIT HERE W DR RACHNA GUPTA. WILL BE REPORTING HER TO STATE BOARD OF OPTOMETRY AS WELL AS WITH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. DO NOT GO HERE! YOU RUN A HUGE RISK AND THERES NOTHING HER OFFICE STAFF WILL BE ABLE TO DO FOR YOU SINCE THIS IS HER PRIVATE PRACTICE
I’ve had the same prescription for over 15 years, I figured I schedule a routine exam with this office since it’s only 4 mins from my home. I came in and was scheduled w Dr Gupta. As I waited outside her office she called a patient in front of me and was out and done w her within 5 mins. She shouted out to the front office rep that patient had a really bad ? Infection on her eyes and prescribed some kind of medication. ( don’t recall the name of eye infection she mentioned or the prescription)
1. Don’t shout your patients business out in the hallway in front of other patients (that’s violating they’re privacy and hipaa)
2. 5 mins for an eye exam RIDICULOUS
Soon after she called me in, did not ask me for reason for visit, or eye concerns or even said hello, she just preceded to ask me to sit in front of a machine

1. I DID NOT SEE HER CHANGE HER GLOVES AFTER LAST PATIENT
2. I DID NOT SEE HER WIPE DOWN THE EQUIPMENT SHE USED ON ME PRIOR TO MY EXAM OR AFTER ( after she was done w me she immediately called the next patient into the room)
3. SHE CONTINUOUSLY KEPT TOUCHING THE AREA AROUND MY EYES WITH HER FINGERTIPS
4. SHE WANTED TO CHARGE ME $100 FOR MY CONTACT LENSE PRESCRIPTION WHICH VIOLATES the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION “CONTACT LENSE RULE” which means she should provide my prescription at NO CHARGE!
UNFORTUNATELY THE DAY AFTER MY APPOINTMENT I WOKE UP W MY EYES EXTREMELY WATERY, ITCHY AND LOTS IF MUCUS AND BLURRED VISION.

Very quick and excellent service with lots of frame options plus reasonably priced lens options. Doctor was very very good as well. She definitely is my favorite in eye care in forty years of wearing glasses and that's no joking. She knew how to perform her job extremely well. Did excellent diagnosis. Even confirmed what I thought of in regards to possible glaucoma since my eyes have been getting steadily worse seeing at night. Definitely recommend.

Tuve la experiencia de estar ahí el día de ayer pero no me gustó ,para un niño es mucho el tiempo en espera y el lugar donde hacen el examen es extremadamente muy pequeño no hay espacio para nada ni siquiera cómodo para la Dra poder moverse con libertad con las máquinas ,el niño hacía lo que le pedían y ella alzando la voz cuando no hacía lo que le decía (no me gustó para nada .fui por referencia de un Dr pero prefiero tener más opciones .
Y la Dra hace el examen súper rápido como que tiene mucha urgencia .

Worst place ever to get glasses, first pair they made for some reason the optometrist said she made them stronger why would you make glasses stronger when you take an eye exam for that specific glass prescription so of course they didn't work I couldn't see out of them so then they remade them with my old prescription and they told me that there would be no glare and there was glare now I can't use them because I can't see even inside with them there's a glare so I have to use my old glasses and then they had the nerve to text me and try and say that it wasn't covered enough and wanted more money. Unless you want a headache, an argument or the worst service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would avoid this place like covid 👎😡

Wow me sorprendió mucho tengo 2 hijos y los eh llevado a diferentes especialistas muchas veces en diferentes estados somos de Texas después nos movimos a california y en el 2018 nos vinimos para las vegas en cada estado los eh llevado a diferentes clínicas para los ojos pues el chequeo es cada año y mi niña des de chica ah usado lentes a si que emos estado con muchos especialistas y nunca pero nunca a mis hijos les an echo un examen tan profesional la doctora es amable paciente le explico bien a mi niño lo que necesitaba saber y las trabajadoras todas son igual de amables y profesionales lo recomiendo mucho pues aquí me dijeron lo que en ningún otro lugar me dijeron que le pasa a mi hijo ahora solo tengo que llevar a mi hija para saber si tiene. They saw me on the same day. I had a very annoying eye infection. Doctor did a full scan of both my eyes to make sure there is nothing serious happening in the back, than proscribed an ointment. I started feeling better from the first day.
