Dr Huff took his time listening, asking questions and answering questions as well. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and thoroughly explained things to me. Turned out surgery wasn't inevitable and hopefully when I go back things improve and surgery could be avoided all together...Fingers crossed. Lots of options given for care but all but one underperformed. An unnessecary procdure was approved, then doctor misread results on another and wanted me to repeat the test. On another visit, I needed to use their scanning device for an orthodic and every time I showed up, the device was in another office location. I set 3 total appointments and am still waiting.

Waited an hour and a half just to get to an exam room. Asked some staff if they were behind, no one knew. After put in a room, another 15 minutes. Doc spent about 5-7 minutes with me. Dr Huf is the best!!!
Honest. He was my second opinion.
First told me my rotary cuff had a very largre tear. 6 weeks in a sling and 3 to 6 months therapy. May need donor tissue to repair.
Dr Huf recommended a steriod shot 4 to 6 weeks PT and good chance that would do it.
No surgery unless this did not work.
On day 3 my shoulder already feels 76 % better from the shot. Cant wait to start PT.

I have had a back issue since 2022. I just moved here from NJ.

I came here on September 29th, 2025 because my back was flaring up

I met with Doctor Lee and explained the history, and asked for an epidural.

The doctor wanted an up to date MRI. I explained I am a big guy and very claustrophobic I asked for full sedation. apparently he ignored that request and gave me some diazepam. He also prescribed physical therapy.

I went to my PT appointment. The therapist didn't do a damn thing with me except give me a paper with exercises to do in a pool. He never took me back and treated me. He pretty much dismissed me as being to large for his equipment. Back in NJ I was able to get PT without a problem.

I went home and did the prescribed exercise till mid November when the weather got to cold to use a pool.

I tried to do the MRI in early January and was unable to do it. The diazepam didn't do anything.

Now they want me to go for a sedated MRI, which is what I asked for originally on September 29th, 2025.

The earliest appointment for the sedated MRI is May, five months from now.

If the doctor had listened to my request on 9/29 I would be getting my MRI now, not 5 months from now.

I have seen other doctors here for my foot and knee and they were great. The Orthopedic I saw for my spine, not personable at all. I felt like a number that had to be seen and sent on my way as soon as possible. The same goes for the Physical therapist that couldn't be bothered.

As of 1/22/26 I have to wait to see if they can get me the MRI sooner.

Doctors are supposed to want to help people. The doctors I saw for my foot and knee were amazing. The doctor my wife is seeing for her wrist, amazing.

I'm not at all happy with Orthopedic doctor I am seeing for my spine.

Treated poorly by the main doctor from the beginning of a very confusing interaction while he was doing my exam. Then once he discovered he had the chart or images of a completely different patient, it became more clear as to why he was not understanding my pain locale and severity..
so what happened next you ask? ... Well, he got on his company phone and demanded the whole MA staff report to the treatment room ASAP. He proceeded to discipline them and correct them infront of me ( as if to assign blame and prove that HE was in NO WAY at fault) while I'm sitting there on the table feeling bad and VERY AWKWARD. The MAs left and he said to me that doesn't usually happen. THEN he basically told me I'm too fat (he said my weight is very high) and said, "can't you take Ozempic or something?" yeah, I was feeling pretty darn humiliated at this point, still aching and writhing in pain, the visit basically ended there, sent me to XRay and said come back in 4 weeks after MRI- which by the way he told me I needed to go to the hospital and tell them to do an mri. I then informed him that I did not have the medical authority to show up at a hospital and order an MRI on myself, so he said I need to tell my doctor. So I wrote what he said down and went to XRay downstairs. Didn't get to properly explain my pain. Which BTW, has been constant with no relief for 4+ months. I wasnt even given the chance to ask for pain meds which I was told he is the only one who can prescribe. So I waited for this appointment for a LONG TIME and for what??? Oh yeah, so I can be told that I'm too fat 😕 BUT I already KNEW THAT!!! Praying for this Doctor and whatever is troubling him and also praying I get some pain medication that I've been trying to get now for 4 months! 😭

Dr. Park is great! About 20 years ago I could not walk and received a lower lumber fusion in Los Angeles. Now I ve moved to Las Vegas
and Dr Park maintains my spine with injections, as I age, to pretty much remain pain to a very minimum. The office is very professional and efficient! I could not work without them!

This place would be great if they could figure out how to keep patients from waiting almost two hours in a room. Doesn’t help that the medical assistants are either clueless or incredibly rude. Like is it that difficult to stop gossiping about patients, stay off your phone and be kind when speaking to patients?

The PAs and Surgeons are amazing though so maybe it’s worth the struggle.

I was examined by Dr. Sungkook Park. My right shoulder hurt, and I received injection treatment after watching simple movements. It was nice to be able to see exactly where the medicine was injected through the machine. The other nurses and the doctor made me feel comfortable, so I felt like I received thorough treatment. After the injection, there was no significant change in movement, but the pain stopped immediately, which was great. Today is much better than yesterday, and I am sure it will get better in the future.

Two surgeons tell me one thing about my problem and what it is this doctor tells me he thinks it is something totally different, since he is the supposed expert, for now I will follow his advice. The person that has helped the most so far is the chiropractor. We will see in the next few weeks, so for now, the jury is out, I’m a different type person, I do not look up to doctors, nor do I look down, I look directly at them. It’s like an attorney, you tell me what the law says about what I want to do, don’t tell me what to do, I hired you to tell me what the law says.stay tuned for a solid review!

Normally I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I had an appointment 02/07/25 at 0945. I took the day off work to get my shoulder injection. When i arrived I was told there was a $6 balance from my last visit which I paid. Then the copay for that days visit was $40, which I also paid. When I seen my provider I was informed that my appointment was too soon to get my shoulder injection and I would have to return (again) in 1 month time. Im not sure why I was scheduled prior to being able to get my injection. I live in North Vegas so I had to drive all the way to Henderson to find out this information. As it is Im currently in pain with my right shoulder plus im out almost $50 in copays and a day off work. Ill have to do it all again in a month I hope someone from their office reaches out to me to se if we can make this any better

My reason for one star is actually due to horrible treatment from a medical assistant to Dr Hanson. I came upon Dr Hanson after being told by another Orthopaedic Surgeon’s office that I needed to be seen by a Sports Medicine doctor. I saw Dr Hanson twice and really liked him. He is very personable, knowledgeable and really listens well to patient concerns. I had two appointments with Dr Hanson and scheduled my third follow-up but for some reason, without advising me, the appointment was made with Dr Hanson’s Nurse Practitioner Megan Martin. When I arrived at the appointment I asked about why this was and they couldn’t tell me. I check in and then I hear a couple other patients checking in for a Megan as well but they get called back before me. I went up and asked and she pulled away the sign in sheet so that I couldn’t see it and just said that I was next. I think maybe she forgot to check me into the computer. No biggie though. I understand things happen. I get called back right away and then have to wait in the back another 25 min for Megan. Again, no biggie as I understand things happen in a medical setting. Megan was very nice and ordered further physical therapy and also recommended some injections she said she would try to get approved with my insurance. She said to schedule a six week follow up. I asked her about paperwork for my job because I’ve been off work since I have a very physical job which requires heavy lifting that I cannot do yet. She said that the girls will take care of that for me. The medical assistant then came in and gave me the paperwork to give the physical therapist and I then asked her about who would take care of sending in info for my job. She replied that they don’t do that and that I have to have surgery before they will take me off work. I explained that i physically cannot do my job right now and that the physical therapist said no weights yet but she again said no, they can’t do that. I was dumbfounded. I already tried to go back to work too early once and after three weeks at work I was back to square one having to use a walker and in horrible pain. I asked if I could talk again to Megan and she said she’d be right in. I would have preferred to talk to Dr Hansen but all the doctors were out as I believe it was surgery day. After 20 minutes I am still waiting and have now been at this place for two hours. I was so upset and frustrated I started to cry. I don’t understand why this medical assistant was being so obstinate. I have a somewhat rare congenital patella issue that for someone at my age surgery is a last resort. She was acting like I was just trying to get out of work. She has no idea what I’ve been through with this knee and that I just want to get better to get on with the very active life I’ve always had. At this point I am so upset and crying I just leave the exam room. When checking out the girl had me talk to someone else as she was new and this lady said she would call in the back to figure this out. Once she got off the phone with the same medical assistant she told me that no, she couldn’t write me off work. At that point I decided that I am done with this practice. Since when does a medical assistant decide what type of physical activity that a patient can or cannot do. I doubt she is even familiar with my condition. Thankfully I contacted my work and they are going to just get the information they need from my physical therapist and I have an appointment with a different medical doctor next week.

I am extremely pleased with the services, medical staff, front desk staff, and Dr. Huff.
I met with Dr. Huff about my painful shoulder and arm. He knew right away I had frozen shoulder. He backed up his diagnosis with an MRI confirming the frozen shoulder. Dr. Huff recommended shoulder arthroscopy at their surgery center. The staff at the surgery center were very kind and knowledgeable about the procedure I was going to have. Dr. Huff was terrific in the pre-op visit. Again, he explained everything to me and I felt very comfortable and prepared for the shoulder arthroscopy. I even walked to the surgery room! The post-op staff was terrific explaining my needs to my spouse making sure I would be comfortable while at home. Dr. Huff prescribed physical therapy (PT) right away. The PT staff was very encouraging as I worked towards the full use of my shoulder. I am very happy and pleased with the outcomes of my interactions with Dr. Huff and his staff. I highly recommend him regarding frozen shoulder treatment and will definitely use Dr. Huff, again, if needed.
