The receptionists are a joke. Tell you there's no appointments available and need to go to tenaya location but find from the doctor that there was availability all along. Tell you they'll call you back and of course NEVER DO. Its just a constant get off the phone type of game with this place. Never ending. Occurs every single time! Despicable behavior from the people answering the phone at cimarron location.

Script filled may 18th, Costco failed to fill script. Dr. refilled script 2nd time June 22. Costco filled the 23rd of June and refuse to refill July 23rd. Dr. Center refuse to help, failed to acknowledge the 30 days since last refilled. Now, due to Dr and Costco, have to wait until 25 or later for script to be refilled.
Shame on you.

i’ve been a patient of dr weldon for a few years. today i go in for my annual and they say they only take tricare as a copay.
i asked when this happened because it’s never come up. primarily, wanted to make sure they’ve been paid appropriately.
Asked to inquire of billing to make sure my account is listed correctly and that they’ve been properly reimbursed for past visits. Told me there was no need. called tricare, and my previous visits were paid on direct claims which does not speak at all to the clinic taking tricare only as a secondary:

the office has typically never been on its organizational game it was tolerated because dr weldon is a good guy; but this? is just strange.

if what i was told was accurate
they would never have seen me nor accepted my insurance.

to score the 1 star? it was always disappointing when the younger male blonde front desk employee could not get you checked in and taken to a patient room without posting on social media or texting during the 45 seconds the task took.
His continued distraction was very unprofessional.

I have been going here for a few years now. I’ve always had great care and the office staff has been great until recently. I went in for a check up and paid my copay. A week later I received a bill from them for my last office visit. I called my insurance company to see what the issue was and they informed me that the doctor’s office used the incorrect billing code. So I have now been calling them to only be able to leave a message that is if the voicemail box isn’t full.

I was seen by Dr. W. James, and I was blown away from his bedside manner and compassion. Usually if the patient is young w/o particular medical hx, they just gross over with barely doing any exams. But he listened to my concerns without judgement and have given me proper care. Front desk and all staffs involved with my care were wonderful and personable-- I found this establishment on a whim and honestly I'm quite pleased for my overall experience!

Update: I saw Dr Weldon G James last week and I so appreciated his empathy, patience and kindness during the visit. It really made my visit to Doctors Center special.

I often see Dr Leo at the Cimarron Rd location. I love the office at this location; waiting for the doctor's appointment is as soothing and enjoyable as the doctor visit itself. As far as the waiting room, I love the lighting, the spaciousness, the quietness and the friendly, efficient staff (usually I speak with Sophie when I am checking in). I almost always have no waiting time to be processed by the nurses/assistants, that goes quickly, and then I always have a successful visit with the Dr, who listens to your issues, administers the right remedy or refers you to good specialists and before you know it, the visit is complete!

The most recent Aprn I saw changed my medications that I have been on (some for years) without any knowledge/understanding of my history. Just a “this doesn’t cause that” or “this isn’t used for that” type of comments. Medications are used often for multiple things. They also didn’t write the scripts she continued correctly and it was never corrected by their office. Example: Take one pill 2x per day. Number dispensed: 30.

I am so frustrated. I had to find a new PCP because I switched insurances. When I made my appt, the gentleman that helped me was so kind and helpful and I was hopeful that this transition would be easy. I went in for my appt today and was told by the medical assistant that in order to get refills for my adhd medication that I have been stable on for YEARs, that I would have to come in monthly to be seen and I would also have to take a drug test every three months. I have been seeing another provider in the same city for years now and have never heard of such a thing. I normally have an in person or telehealth call every 3 months to meet state law requirements. The MA tried to tell me that it was the law to get drug tested every 3 months and be seen by a provider every month to get adhd medication. When, I finally spoke with a supervisor, she did amend his statement to relay that it is their company policy to do those things. So as the patient, on top of paying a monthly insurance premium and an outrageous prescription cost for my medication, I now have to pay my copay every month and pay for a drug test every three months? That is a great way to show patients you do not care about them and treat them like criminals. The supervisor did refund my copay which I greatly appreciate but this was a really disappointing experience and the company needs to do better. I have never heard of anything like this in Nevada or in California or Idaho when I lived there.

I arrived on time, showed ID and proof of insurance, filled out first-time paperwork and was seen promptly. A team member took my vitals and I gave a urine sample.
The doctor introduced himself, answered some questions I had about his background and we discussed my treatment plan. All prescriptions were transferred to my chart and he gave me the referrals I needed. My check up took no more than ten minutes and I left with the answers I sought from the Doctor. I have the paperwork for my bloodwork next week and I'll follow-up with the Doctor next month to review the results of my blood tests. I would rate this visit as highly satisfactory and look forward to being treated here in the future. Thanks to the entire Staff at Doctors Center Southwest. Finally, one of the referral Doctors office staff called this morning. Less than 24 hours after my initial visit, I have an appointment for my first visit with an Orthopedic. And it's only a week away!
That kind of service is rare these days...

I used to go to Dr. Capobianco at the Tenaya location, but now this location is too far, so I decided to give this clinic a chance since it is part of the same group. Well... let me tell you... As a medical professional myself, I was very disappointed with the care I was provided.

Pros:
1. Scheduling appointments was fast and easy
2. I did not have to wait 2-3 months to see a provider
3. Nice staff and nice clinic location

Cons:
1. The provider does not listen or look at you. Looking at a computer all the time typing away.
2. Not once I was examined during my visit. She never listened to my lungs or heart even though I was there for a "yearly physical", but I bet the clinical note says my lungs were clear and I did not have any murmurs.
3. Had blood work done and never heard back. Good thing I can read my own labs.

Not going back to this location. I will drive to Tenaya to see Dr. Capobianco before I ever go here again.

This review doesn't reflect on the doctors or nurses, but the front desk staff negatively impacted my experience. Here’s what happened:

I scheduled an appointment online and completed the registration, including submitting my insurance card. I called on the day of the appointment to confirm and was told to arrive 15 minutes early to complete new patient paperwork.

Upon arrival, I had to verify my insurance again and waited 30 minutes past my appointment time, only to be told I needed to update my primary care physician (PCP) information. I contacted my insurance, who confirmed this wasn't necessary, and they even called the office. However, the office refused to provide the PCP ID, stating it was only available from their billing department, which was closed until after Memorial Day, mind you the appointment was Thursday 5/23. Two working days before the holiday. While on the phone with my insurance, the front desk receptionist accused me very nasty like of calling her manager and telling on her. I did not do this and was offended she was accusing me of something like that at the front desk. Very unclear on why I was asked to change and update my PCP when the office refused to provide the ID #...

Ultimately, I wasn't seen by a doctor and was told to return the following Tuesday when their billing office was open.The staff was extremely rude, disorganized, and clearly didn't know how to work at a medical office front desk. I won’t be returning due to this poor experience.

I had to change my PCP with my insurance because I had some medical concerns I needed to be seen for ASAP and my assigned doctor couldn’t see me for MONTHS. Luckily this office was accepting new patients and was able to see me that same week. I’ve now been coming here for a few months and it’s by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. All the staff here are so kind and attentive, I always feel heard and seen which unfortunately can feel uncommon these days in the medical field. I’m so well taken care of by the doctors and nurses here, I couldn’t recommend this office enough! I’ve even moved to Henderson and still make the trip to this specific location because I like it so much. Thank you to all the staff, you’re so appreciated!

Dr.Wynn has giving me false information in regards to my health and inaccurate information in regards to my diagnosis and has repeatedly be rude I will be reporting her to the Nevada State Board of Medicine because she is playing with peoples health and lives. I will also be calling in the morning to speak to a manager to get accurate information as well as discuss her behavior and how i am not comfortable with her on my services anymore.

I don’t understand how this doctor’s office has the rating it does. My experience today was very unsatisfactory.

I walked into the office and as I was getting ready to sign in the front desk receptionist grabbed the clipboard and held onto it for a few minutes while I patiently waited. After she put it down and I signed in, I was called up to get me information. The receptionist asked what pharmacy I used and I stated Walgreens but then said if there are any long term medicines that I need (which was a huge part of the reason I was there) that they need to go through the mail service that my insurance provides. The receptionist just kept telling me they don’t use it. I told her that as a former employee in the medical field that this was the first I have ever heard of a doctor not using this service. She just kept telling me, “I don’t know what to tell you.” Then she said she’d ask a supervisor and came back out saying, “If I can’t find it in our system we don’t use it. My supervisor said we don’t use this mail service.” So now I’m frustrated because there’s no point of me seeing the doctor if I can’t get the medicines I need so I told her, “I’m not sure what to do. I needed a new primary care doctor but there’s no point of being seen if you can’t give me my meds.” to which the receptionist replied again, “I don’t know what to tell you. Do you want your appointment or not?” So I refused and said I’d find another doctor’s office. She gave me back my cards with a huge smile (like she was happy I couldn’t be seen) and said “Okay, have a good day. Bye.”

I then called the office back to have my information deleted from their system since I signed up for their patient portal and the guy I talked to (Noah) was so nice and apologized for the inconvenience and the rudeness of the receptionist, then he asked what mail service I used and it turned out, THEY USE IT! The receptionist just didn’t want to do her job! Noah asked if I wanted to come back and be seen but by then it was a bad first impression and I refused it. He apologized again and got my information taken out of their portal.

So sad that as a first time patient, this was my experience. And I never even got to see the doctor due to someone not wanting to do their job efficiently. Very disappointing. And I will not be going back.

We just moved back to Vegas, and we needed to find a new doctor as I do have a lot of health issues in my family history. Based on the reviews, I chose this doctors office. The front office staff is friendly, and the lab tech is great. She managed to get my stubborn veins on the first go, which is an impressive feat. This is why I'm giving this facility to stars. The visit with the Dr was horrible, it was for me and my son, they took us back together and did the appointments together, the Dr that saw me seemed rushed, didn't ask much about medical history, even though my paperwork highlighted I was a smoke this wasn't recorded or mentioned, the fact that I was overweight wasn't mentioned, he did the basic ears, throat and nose check on me and my son and then rushed us in to get our blood drawn. Our appointment was at 3:30 and we had eaten multiple times that day. I need accurate, fasting blood tests due to the diabetes that runs in my family. My chart showed my blood pressure was high and no mention of that either. I didn't know until I got the patient portal access. Overall, I'm disappointed with this visit and feel like the doctor didn't really care about us or was too rushed to actually sit down and do the well checks we were there for. I don't think I'll be coming back here.

I was extremely nervous about my apt. I have super bad anxiety about getting my blood drawn. Elizabeth had me lie in the bed and eased me through the whole process. I hugged her afterward. The NP Kim was excellent and patient too!

Easy to get an appointment when you need it. They call you back to the exam room on time. Blood tests are done on site. You actually get to see the doctor, which is becoming rare these days. Good feedback, and results are available on the website.....

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't as great as other reviewers.

I arrived for my 15:00 appointment prepaid my copay, even though I have excellent insurance (this is the only doctor's office I've had to do this)

I took a seat and watched as people came in after me and were seen before. After 30 minutes of waiting, frustrated I had enough and left. I guess to them it's no big deal since they already have your money.

In addition, I had lab work done in December and never received a response or follow up. I actually forgot about it until the person at the front desk mentioned it.

Went in for a 25 year on-going sleep problem. No problem with the NP student who took all my information, however I did not speak to a NP, PA or MD. I was prescribed an antihistamine (hydroxyzine) for insomnia. It did absolutely nothing for me. Had a follow -up today @1100, 26 Sept. Three people in the lobby including myself and I wasn't seen for 15 minutes. Whoever took my vitals had no idea why I was there and was very disinterested. I expected to wait another 15 minutes before a provider to show so I left and will not be returning.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Taitano he is my family doctor and he’s absolutely amazing. I have been looking for a good internal medicine family doctor for a long time and I’m a little bit picky because my father is also a doctor and I found Dr. T he is so kind so thorough he really listens to you and he really wants to help, I had a small bump on my neck and I was really worried about it and under his supervision. I had a biopsy ultrasound and everything else and he was so on top of everything I cannot say enough about him I highly recommend Dr. T to anybody to really wants to have a good doctor and someone who believes in helping their patients 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
