I had an outstanding experience at Dr. Ali Reza Farhabi’s HPV Center on Shadow Lane. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, respectful, and highly professional. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and creates a comfortable environment, which makes a huge difference when dealing with sensitive health concerns.
Dr. Farhabi is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answered all my questions clearly, and made sure I felt informed and at ease throughout the entire process. Okay, the staff and doctors are nice and kind. But after being diagnosed with what I had, the doctor told me nothing about it, he wrote a script, sent it out, and to this day, I'm still waiting for it. Every time I try to call them about the prior authorization, I either get a voicemail, or on the off chance I do get someone, they said they've already submitted the information (when they haven't, otherwise I'd have my medicine). I've been waiting for this medication for over 2 months now, all it takes is a reply fax from them. I've left multiple messages, haven't heard anything back.

I've been a patient of Dr. Farabi for 8 years now and he is really the best doctor I have ever had. He has been a very positive and upbeat support during the treatment of my condition and has taken care of all my medical needs flawlessly. I thought being diagnosed with my condition would be a lot more tumultuous and scary but Dr. Farabi and his team have made me feel well taken care of and at ease. He is constantly teaching a few students, I've always felt he is very knowledgeable and instructive with these soon to be doctors. Its nice to know he's at the forefront of medicine, passing along a wealth of experience and keeping himself fresh to new treatments. I highly recommend him to anyone.

This Dr. is THE BEST!!! He is the best example of what a doctor is. The staff at the wellness center is the finest quality. In my 53 years on this earth I have never had a Dr. like him. When I was homeless he gave me a coat when I came to my appt. And did not eat for 2 days he gave me his breakfast. His staff has always in the years I have seen him has treated me with kindness and dignity. When I had no hope they encouraged me to keep going. I can’t say enough good things about his entire office. Thank you Doc, you are a credit to your profession and a shining example of what a Doctor should be.

Helpful positive doctor that was warm and welcoming for my partner and I. Prompt with appointment times. They were very understanding of our needs. Speaks very clear english. Please see them after sexual assault to get PEP, a post Hiv exposure medication that prevent HIV.
Note: loud doors so bring headphones for hearing sensitive or panic prone people.

Talk about irresponsible! And I am posting it directly to my Doctor's name, since UMC Wellness Center get's one too, after. Appointments have to made well in advance, lab work a week before. As a working stiff, I have to request time off a month in advance. I HAD an appointment for June 10, 2016. I am set for labs, on June 2, 2016. I get a call now, to have my appointment tomorrow, June1, 2016. I have a JOB! And how about those labs??? And NO explanation, as to why my appointment is canceled. And I ask for a manager, and get voicemail!!! What's worse, is that this is my only option for my care, and this isn't the first time this place has pulled this stunt! How are they NOT under fire, for their irresponsible actions?!
