I have worked with this office for years. The staff is very knowledgeable, and attentive. Dr Banerji has great bedside manner, he is very thorough and truly cares for his patients.

Front staff is nice... The doctor at first, it was a bit off. Putting if you're directing and almost seen crude, I did voice. My concern and I actually got a call from the doctor apologizing and wanting to go over my concerns over the phone. That amount of carrying is very rare. Someone apologizing for making you feel a certain way. And then coming around to give you excellent service is very impressive. The doctor is thorough. Penn likes to go buy the book and I really appreciate. The doctor has won me over, and I will now keep him.And has my primary physician in the beginning, give him a break. In the end, I think you'll be glad that you went to this medical center. Ashley, Luis and the front of the house staff, the doctor the assistant's, in the end, they are really good people. And I'm glad you're and that the situation was resolved. And allowed me to see how much caring the doctor truly has

My experience with Dr. Banerji has been excellent. He's extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Yes, there is often a wait time, but it's because he doesn't rush through his time with you. He listens and gives the time and attention for a quality, meaningful visit. He seems always to have a probable diagnosis, yet he readily makes specialist referrals to verify and confirm. I like that.

Definitely the best and most thorough doctor I've ever been to. Yes I may have to wait 1 or 2 hours past my appointment time but that's because he spends so much time going through everything and explaining what everything is which is exactly what someone who is not a medical professional should want. I'm sure if I went in with a shitty attitude because I waited so long he would be short with me but I love the fact he can interpret any Labs and tell me exactly what's going on and send me to the person that is able to fix it. Very happy with Dr B

Some of us may remember, with a sense of “nostalgia,” times when doctors came to the house when we were ill.
Times when doctors oversaw our health and could be trusted implicitly.
Times when doctors spent time with a patient, and his profession was perceived by the patient as a mission and not as job.
This doctor-patient relationship has constituted the standard for the practice of medicine for thousands of years.
As a retired pharmacist I can tell you that things have changed now, and not for the better.
Some doctors, however, are striving to keep the spirit of old medicine alive.
Dr. Bashab Banerji, my internist in Las Vegas, is one of the “nostalgic” ones.
His competence, diagnostic skills, and ability to communicate difficult medical concepts in a language that anyone can understand are unparalleled!

Dr Banerji is an excellent and exceptionally caring physician. Although the wait time occasionally seems excessive, his diagnostic skills and thoughtful manner are well worth any delay that may occur.

Dr. Banerji is an amazing doctor. He does not give up until he finds the reason of an illness (which he does it in a very timely manner as he is very knowledgeable and very thorough). He had saved my life by acting quickly to resolve my health issues. He and his personnel are caring and very kind. I am very thankful to them.

Do not go to this joke of a doctor! I still can’t belive he is still practicing medicine. How is he still in business. This doctor prescribed my wife at the time medicine for a disease he said she now had per lab results only to find out her labs came back that way due to her having taking steroids for MS to reduced swelling on her brain. He had her thinking she then had another incurable disease. I went to tell him how he might be wrong only for him to start shouting and screaming telling me to get out of his office. I’m only writing this because after all this years I would think someone would have sued by now. he needs to stop practicing medicine. worst doctor ever!

By all means go to this doctor if you love being treated like a piece of meat on a conveyor belt, two hour wait times, being cut off mid sentence, ordering numerous lab tests and refusing to explain why, "We'll talk about it next time." Last but not least, the blatant dismissive attitude towards me. His arrogance precedes him.

Not a very friendly staff or doctor. Doctor did not listen to my history, concerns and just started referring me out. Office staff is very incompetent and not friendly at all. They charged me a copay and said if it’s wrong the doctor will write me a check after the bill goes in! The doctor’s assistant was pleasant. I am changing providers. I’m done with this place.

Don’t waste your time, literally it will take 2-3 hours to see the doctor no matter what day or time your appointment is. His staff is rude and condescending, they rarely answer the phone and rarely return messages. If you enjoy being talked down to by staff members that are clearly overworked, underpaid, bitter and awful then sure go here. I will gladly never go back, I will never get back the 30+ hours I have sat in the waiting rooms and I look forward to finding a doctor whose staff is competent and most importantly kind. After 2 weeks, 2 out of 3 of my prescriptions were NEVER sent to my pharmacy, and the one that was is still awaiting preauthorization because of the rude woman Ashley who keeps purposely pushing off my preauthorization just to be petty. She was so rude to me and I have done nothing but call and calmly asked for an update, only to be met with cattiness. It’s actually shocking to me how rude she can be. Do yourself a favor and find someone else, after reading other reviews on here for his practice I know that I am actually just doing myself a favor by not going back.

Very good doctor! Takes the time to really help his patients. He’s 100% dedicated to the study of medicine and one’s self. He cares for my whole family. A*++

They need to work more on comunicación skills, you can’t place someone on hold with out them even saying yes or no. I understand everyone is busy but that is absolutely rude just to place someone of hold like that. I’m going to report this to the medical directory borde.

I really do not write bad review, but I could not believe how unkind Ashley was. I understand she seemed really stressed but it is uncalled for to treat people that way. Especially when I was only kind.

Costumer service is terrible, rude team.
Every visit you go there you will need to wait at least one hour, two hours or even more at the waiting room before this doctor find time for you, He also confused about what you come for.
I needed to get an important prescription he was in a vacation, no one care about you and they are not going to help you, they will tell you:
“He is in vacation you will need to wait for him to come back or go to an urgent care”
One of the staff there she was so rude and unprofessional.

I am thoroughly impressed with Dr. Banerji. I’ve worked in the medical field in Las Vegas for 15 years, so I am extremely picky and cautious when it comes to picking my doctors. He’s very kind, smart, and truly listens to what you have to say.

OVERBOOKS!! I don't know why Doctors due this.(MONEY IM ASSUMING). I would like to say he spends time with his patients but he was always rushing me out without getting to my issues. Just waited almost 2 hours in a little room so I could get my blood pressure medicine refilled. Unfortunately couldn't wait any longer. After an hour drive and a 2 hour wait, I left without being seen. I now have to find a new doctor. He is a nice guy but needs to realize every ones time is valuable. Some people take off work and have things to do other then wait that long especially for a blood pressure refill. Be prepared for long waits.

One of the BEST doctors I have ever seen, and I am 67.
Of course you're going to wait, its a freaking doctors office, and a darn good one at that.
The first time I saw him he spent an hour plus with me.
What doctor does that??
Dr. Banerji is an amazing
doctor; he's very caring and understanding.
He is very thorough and listens to your health concerns.
Dr. Banerji will come up with a treatment plan, and you will work WITH him to better your health.
If you're in a hurry, don't make an appointment here!
Call your nearest "doc in the box" where you're just another number!!

I’ve read the reviews, I’m there for the Dr. I’ve ALWAYS waited in a waiting room my whole life. I think Dr Banerji gives such a high level of care that they expect something different than the norm in the waiting room. A great Dr should have a line, and I for one am not getting out of it. He’s run labs and discussed everything we need to. He questions lifestyle, mental health, relationships and food. He searches then researches and helps fix the problems. I’ve always wanted a Dr this experienced AND attentive,, now I have one. I don’t know why you’re complaining about the wait time, your posts are certainly disrespecting this man and his deductive talents.

every time you call you are automatically put on hold without being asked if you want to be put on hold. its ridiculous to try to even call and reschedule an appointment. its one thing to have a "nice" doctor but if you cannot call, cannot get a hold of anyone to even get test results? um that's a problem too

You are probably a bit confused with all these reviews giving either 1 star or 5 stars to Dr. Banerji. I can't blame you. If you read them carefully, you'll notice that the positive reviews all deal with the Doctor and his patient care, while the negative reviews all deal with other factors like long waits. And you probably know by now that any angry, loud or insulting review generally says more about the author than it does about the subject, and should probably be ignored.
Here is an unbiased, calm and honest opinion built over the period of many months and several visits: Dr. Banerji is the best Doctor I've seen in Vegas, and one of the best I've seen in the many years before moving here. He is thoughtful and attentive, and he puts YOU in charge of your health, while always there to guide and help. The problem is not his professionalism or talent. The problem is his schedule. He DOES overbook. People routinely wait 45 minutes to see him. Sometimes more. If an emergency arises over the course of the day, everything else gets pushed out. Plus, Dr. Banerji gives people the time that they need, whether or not it was scheduled. When you're the one getting that extra attention, you'll appreciate it. When you're the one waiting, you won't.
So here's the bottom line - if you can afford the extra time. then you have a legitimate reason to look elsewhere. But don't go elsewhere because a frustrated person called the doctor a quack online. He's the real deal.

At last I found a good honest Doctor in Las Vegas.
He was highly recommended to me by my Oncologist and I was not disappointed. Very efficient and takes the time to explain everything.

I just walked out of this office. As a new patient, I was roomed and my vitals taken. 50 minutes later I was still sitting in the room while the staff seemed to be going home. Not a word from anyone. This has to be the most unprofessional physician I have encountered in my life. Shame on you, Dr. Banerji!

Yes there sometimes are long waits, but I have learned to be patient as I know Dr. Banerji often spends more time with his patients than other doctors. I find Dr. Baneji to be everything positive as stated in other patient reviews. Personally - I have been going to Dr. Banerji for over 8 years. His willingness to listen to my issues and to leave no stone unturned, has lead to the diagnosis and treatment of two life threatening diseases, which obviously makes me very grateful for Dr. Banerji and his approach to providing medical care. I highly recommend Dr. Banerji.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. SUPPOSE TO BE A PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR AND YET GE KNOWS VERY LITTLE. HE TOLD ME HE COULDNT HELP ME AFTER WAITING OVER AN HOUR PAST MY APPOINTMENT TIME. COMPLETE JOKE OF A DOCTOR. THEY HAVE 1 RECEPTIONIST AND ONE NURSE. YOU WILL GET BETTER CARE AT AN URGENT CARE.

I think Dr. Banerji is a excellent doctor. He was highly recommended to me by a family friend. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Dr. Banerji always answers all of my questions and concerns without hesitation. He helped me get off several medications that were causing terrible side effects that my old physician prescribed. Dr. Banerji has really helped me and changed my life.

I've always liked Dr. Banerji after so long i decided to post review, because nothing changed..here are MY experiences with him...yes his a nice Dr, i just feel like his ALWAYS overbooked..the wait is STILL an issue(TOO LONG) I would like it if he could spend MORE time to listen and explain ask if i have any questions, and not be so vague about my concerns..i spent $60+ dollars as my copay and he spends LITERALLY 8 minutes with ME and left to see a patient he started out with that came AFTER ME!

A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! BETTER OFF DIAGNOSING YOURSELF ON GOOGLE! DID NOTHING, CHARGED A FORTUNE TO REFER ME TO ANOTHER MORON, WHO CALLED AN HOUR PRIOR TO OUR APPOINTMENT TO CANCEL! BUT EVEN THOUGH HE GOT HIS DEGREE FROM A CRACKER JACK BOX, HE WAS STILL BETTER THEN THE MORONS PRETENDING TO BE A MEDICAL STAFF AT SPRING VALLEY HOSPITAL!
