If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I strongly advise all parents to avoid this center.

My son has Fragile X syndrome and has been receiving therapy since he was three years old. We had never experienced problems with any therapy center until this place.

We decided to transfer him here because, after five years at his previous center, we felt he was not making enough progress with his learning. Getting into this location took months because of the waiting list. We carefully planned the transition so our son would never have to go without therapy.

After completing the entire evaluation process and being approved, our son finally started therapy. After only two weeks, they discontinued his services, claiming that he was violent. The reason was that, on two separate occasions, he pulled the hair of two different therapists. Both incidents happened while his mother was present, lasted only a few seconds, and did not result in any physical injury.

During the evaluation, we specifically explained that our son may pull hair when he becomes stressed and that the therapists should be aware of this and take appropriate precautions. We were told that it would not be a problem and that parents should participate in the sessions to help him adapt.

What makes us especially angry is that they accepted him after the evaluation and then gave him only two weeks to adapt before ending his therapy. They did not give him a real opportunity to adjust or get to know him.

Personally, I feel that this system has become too much of a business. There are too many children who need therapy and too few therapists available, and it seems that some centers can afford to choose the patients they consider easier to work with. Meanwhile, the children who truly need these services are left out and end up back on waiting lists.

Our son has now been without therapy for more than a year and remains on waiting lists, with no idea when he will be able to start again. He has also just turned 13, which is an especially important stage for his development and learning. For a child who depends on therapy, losing more than a year of treatment is devastating and represents a setback that could have been avoided.

Children with developmental disabilities can have challenging behaviors, and I believe professionals who work in this field should be prepared to handle these situations safely and professionally.

This experience has left us extremely frustrated and disappointed. We are even considering moving to another state where we can find better services and professionals who are prepared and willing to work with children like our son.

I do not recommend this center to parents looking for therapy and support for their children.

I also want to encourage parents to get into the habit of leaving honest reviews about therapy centers. Sharing our experiences helps other parents make informed decisions and avoid wasting valuable time at places that may not be able to meet the needs of their children.

I am incredibly grateful that God intervened and guided me to not have my son in this therapy. However, I strongly advise against this therapy for children of color, especially those who are non-verbal. As a relatively new mother, I was learning the intricacies of obtaining proper diagnoses and paperwork. This facility was working diligently with us, and everyone was incredibly kind. Some of the workers even took the time to identify and rectify mistakes that hindered our application for ABA therapy. However, the new manager, Danielle, was utterly disgusting and unprofessional. She decided to reject my son’s ABA therapy application simply because I was becoming frustrated with the prolonged process. I sincerely hope that God brings her the consequences she deserves for treating my innocent son and me in such a disturbing manner.

As a parent, all we ever truly want is for our child to be loved and accepted by others. And when you find out that your child is unique, different from the rest, that wish becomes even more important. Livvy’s journey began when she was just 2 years old, shortly after we moved to a new state following her autism diagnosis. We were nervous, uncertain, but hopeful for the future.

Now, at 4 years old, we are preparing to move once again, and when I look at how far Livvy has come, I am filled with so much pride and gratitude. Her growth, her progress, it’s all because of the incredible therapists who have worked with her over the past couple of years. They’ve not only helped her develop important skills, but they’ve also cared for her, encouraged her, and most importantly, they’ve loved my girl every step of the way.

Livvy will truly miss each of them, but I know, because of their dedication and support, she’s ready for the next chapter of her journey. I’m so thankful for everything they’ve done, and I’m excited to see where this new adventure will take us, knowing that Livvy has such a strong foundation to build on. My daughter has been here for 3 years for ABA, speech/feeding and occupational therapy. She has grown so much in communication with independent use of her communication device. She no longer gets overwhelmed with new foods or textures. Drinks from a cup and uses utensils on her own. My daughter doesn’t have sensory issues with clothing anymore and can finally wear socks and shoes. Peer play, eye contact and listening used to be a worry for us but not after ACT incorporated these into her daily plan. The staff here is very dedicated to our children and assisting parents with training for feeding, communication, potty training and things to work on at home. This is the only location in the valley that offers ABA, Speech and OT. Highly recommend

I have been wanting to write a review for a few months now and I finally got to doing so. I can’t express how grateful I am to everyone who works here. I’ll start with the front desk team and scheduling, thank you for working with my schedule and always being so kind to my daughter and I. You made it easy to get her in for her sessions with both the speech and OT therapists. Secondly, Ms. Kansas, Ms. Kivani, and Ms. Emily, my daughter learned so much in the short amount of time she spent with you guys. She looked forward to seeing you and I felt so at ease knowing she was being cared by such kind and supportive people. At the end of every session all of you took the time to explain to me what you worked on. I felt very informed and supported each time. I am saddened we ended up taking her out of therapy due to an out of state move, but I will always be grateful for the time she spent with you all. A very big thank you to Ms. Kansas for helping us get her the speech tablet. You worked closely with all parties to ensure my daughter continued to receive support through this resource during our move. I hope you know just how important you guys are to the development of all the children you help. You change the lives of those kiddos and their families. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for everything.
