After years of suffering with low back pain and pain medication, I found Disc Centers of America on an ad on Facebook. I wanted to find alternatives to injections and surgery. I started my journey with Drs Swolensky and Shepherd in July of 2024. I finished 40 disc decompression treatments along with cold laser, and Matrix Electoanalgenic treatments. In addition, Dr Shepard provided occasional Shock wave treatments to areas of low back that were suffering from scar tissue. These Shock Wave treatments helped TREMENDOUSLY!!! Dr Shepard really eased the pain!!! I could not be happier and contribute my pain-free life to disc Centers of America!!! No more pain meds...just occasional ice packs and monthly Disc Decompression maintenance. Pain level has decreased from 10 to 2!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!

I have been a patient of Dr. Shepard's for the past 9 years. When we first moved to Nevada my back was in such poor shape that I could not stand up straight. Dr. Shepard fixed all of that and has been my source of a healthy back ever since. Dr. Shepard listens to your concerns and will go to almost any length to help stop the pain and put you on a road to a healther you. He is the best Chiropractor I have ever used over the years and I would highly recommend using his talents and expertise.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shepard for over 6 years and never have I had a chiropractor who was so adept at addressing my pain as he. I use my body for work and he keeps me going through all of my chronic overuse/abuse injuries, as well as my ‘weekend warrior’ type; he manages them all with skill and compassion.
