Dr Cordero has a great personality considering he's a cardiologist. And on that note he's one of the best if not the best. He spends time listening and talking to his patients. Unfortunately, the support staff keeps messing up appointments. Today (2/25/26), we came in for my husband's appointment and after waiting, a patient was told his appointment is canceled because the doctor is not in. Another patient who flew in from California and staying in a hotel was told the same thing and can't reschedule her appointment at all. Another man who just had a heart attack was told his appointment is canceled, no one available for him, he was very upset and was yelling, understandably, since he was really in need of medical care. Needless to say, our appointment was also canceled. This is the 3rd time there's been a scheduling mishap. As much as we like Dr. Cordero, we are looking for another cardiologist.

Dr Cordero with Dr Wood performed my TVR surgery to my Aortic Valve and the surgery was exceptional. I had two incisions in my groin and felt nothing, would not have known I had a surgery at all. Back to normal the next day. Love his personality, he makes you feel special. The best ever!

The doctors here are amazing. However, unfortunately, they keep forgetting to send my prescription to my pharmacy. I had to continue following up with them for over a month, hoping to finally get my prescription. They still haven’t sent it.

I did not want to share this because the doctors genuinely care about their patients. But I do not want this to happen to someone else.

Not sending something as important as a high blood pressure prescription to the pharmacy is unacceptable and dangerous.

I hope they actually send it today.

Update: 5/7/24 they finally sent the prescription but prescribed the wrong dosage. I hope it doesn’t take another 5 weeks to fix this.

Update: 5/13/24 nothing yet…

Update: 5/21/24 I finally received the correct prescription. I was supposed to receive this prescription on 4/5/24.

Wonderful Dr. Loves country music and takes the time to listen to your concerns. I am glad he is my doctor.

Just to add to this. He saved my life. Really. I was having heart attacks and the Dr.s in my insurance plan were not sure what was happening (heart or stomach), they relied on the reports rather than looking at the films. Dr. Cordero looks at the films. He found the issues and have fixed the issues with the help of Dr. Park.

I'd give Dr. Cordero stars from heaven if i could. What a Amazing heart Doctor. I had the doom. This Man saved me. I had been thru so much . No more intervention i was told. Dr. Cordero formed his opinion and Fixed my left main artery. A wonderful doctor and human being.
