Beware!!! This place is a total scam. I was referred here by my kids’ pediatrician’s office. Like other reviewers state, the nurse was friendly and informative. However, I knew what I needed going in and thought I could just ask a few questions. This racket tried to charge $3600 for vaccines I ended up getting for free! I did get stuck with their ridiculous office fee of $124 before I got outta there. Be sure you hold on tight to your wallet…they’re gonna try to take you for everything you’ve got!

We really appreciated all the information. We felt completely able to make good decisions about our vaccines. And the ones we got didn’t hurt at all, in fact we barely felt anything. It was so much better than going to a doctor who explains in 30 seconds and then tells you what to do. Great service!

I needed to get a series of rabies shots and I wanted to share an example of operating with integrity. The shots were extremely expensive and Kate the nurse who helped me was very empathic and even suggested other cheaper ways to get the shot. She even waited with me for over 30 minutes while I checked alternatives and even said repeatedly to take my time. Ultimately these shots are time sensitive so I got the shot there and although it was expensive Kate was really amazing! Very knowledgeable and professional. Yes I would definitely go here again if needed.

Staff was nice and caring so no issue there - but this entire system feels scammy - they don’t tell you a price of consultation until you show up ($124) then they show you what the CDC recommends (it’s like asking a lawyer for every edge case scenario) - they then take you through a list of vaccines and you have no idea as they don’t provide probability of infection. This is not a service that has a customer value at the center but a service on how to get as much money from a traveler as possible.

Our nurse at Passport Health was excellent at walking us through the process of what we would need regarding vaccines and meds required for travel to foreign countries. My wife and daughter are planning a trip to The Gambia, which would be their first time traveling to Africa. We searched online for a travel clinic to get guidance about travel to that part of the world. We got the best advice from the consultant who took her time to explain everything we needed to know and what vaccinations were required. She was friendly, courteous and very professional.

The staff was kind, and I have no complaints about the nurse. But the prices they are charging are an exact representation of everything that is wrong with this healthcare system. The average cost of a yellow fever vaccine is 240 dollars, and they charge about 380 or 390 for it. Plus, an additional consult fee with a nurse. Be smarter than me, and do better research to find a clinic that will fairly charge you. They try to upsell you on products like bug spray and food poisoning kits. Like I said, I'm not mad at the nurse who helped me. She was great. I'm just genuinely blown away by the cost of this clinic when I have first-hand information from others that they only paid around 250 for their yellow fever vaccine.
Edit: The consultation provides information that anyone could find on the CDC's website. It's not a consultation worth 100 dollars. You're taking advantage of people, and you know it. But whatever. If my health history was significant enough to require a consult, it ought to be with a physician, not an RN. I was not assessed at any point. My self-provided health history was reviewed on a computer. What you're charging for the consult does not consitute a "small fee." And the entire service was not worth 490 dollars, plain and simple. Sorry, I don't feel that way, but maybe someone else does.

Ellen was really helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The reason for 1 star is the cost for 4 vaccines $650, 2 of the vaccines needs a second appointment for $210, 1 of the vaccines needs a third appointment for $105. By the time I finish, it will be $1000. That was not including all they suggested... I only picked what I thought was necessary. based on Ellen's recommendations...
They don't give you pricing over the phone, I chose this place based on the reviews of people saying it was affordable, really? We don't have the same definition of affordable. Again, nothing about the nurse, but the establishment must work on the pricing, my opinion.

Super easy and informative process. I made an appointment over the phone and did not have to wait at all upon arriving. They tell you all the vaccinations that are recommended for whatever the region of the world you are traveling in. They give you a price breakdown of what all the recommended vaccines would cost, and from there you can choose if you would like to have them all, or you can choose which ones are of importance to you and in your price range. They also have products to take abroad like bug sprays, treatment against mosquitoes for your clothing, and medications to take with you for stomach sickness or that can prevent it. Ellen helped me and was extremely nice and descriptive. She gave me much insight on what to expect where I am going and many travel tips. She was super friendly and made me more comfortable with traveling abroad by providing me with a lot of useful information that I didn't have to search the internet for and wonder if the information I was getting was true or not. The prices were also cheaper here for the vaccines than the Southern Nevada Health District, and she could actually prescribe me with the malaria vaccination (I opted for the pill form versus the shot because it is effective for 5 years versus 3). If you opt to take the pill form of a vaccination, the health district will send you somewhere else, usually your primary care physician, because they do not have anyone on location who can write prescriptions; they only have people staffed who can administer shots. Also, there was no additional costs and administration fees at Passport Health, where the health district would have charged me and $20 admin fee for each vaccine that was administered to me. I will definitely be back the next time I travel abroad.

Susan was absolutely incredible. She was very informative and knowledge about the areas my husband and I were visiting for our upcoming vacation. The costs of the vaccines are very reasonable, with that being said you can't put a price on your loved ones health. Would defiantly recommend this place. Even for those that are not sure if vaccines are needed or need to speak with a human who knows what their talking about and not just pushing vaccines that are not recommended.

Great resource for international travel! I trust them to provide detailed information on my destination country and to know what I need for my travel. Easy to make appointments, knowledgeable staff, very accommodating. I highly recommend Passport Health. I have used the Irvine, CA location three times and will definitely visit them whenever I have international travel that might require special immunizations or preparations.
