Dr Christiansen was a joke! I went to him because of my allergies and he did not take me serious. Maybe because I am older? I wanted to know what I was allergic to. When his aide did the allergy test, she did not know what she was doing. She said, "You are allergic to bed bugs." I told her, " I do not have bed bugs." Then when the famous Dr. Jim Christiansen decided to walk back into the office to talk to me, he sat down, put his hand to his nose like he was twitching it (Bewitched tv show) and said, "Go like this and count to 10.". I said, "So, that's it?" He said, "Yes" then he walked out. I heard him and his staff (consisting of all YOUNG girls) laugh out loud. I was curious as to what they would say, so I asked of he wanted to see me again. His staff said , 'No." I never went back, but I did promise to give them this bad review! A bad review for bad service!

I met Dr. Christensen in the '90s when he was a practicing Pulmonologist. If you had "any kind of breathing" problem, including Asthma, COPD, or prone to pneumonia, this was the absolute best doctor to see! I do have asthma and COPD and Dr. Christensen has helped me tremendously!!! I've had bronchitis a few times and Dr. Christensen gave me the exact meds I needed to get rid of it, every time! I had been to other doctors that did not! He has a wonderful bedside manner as well! He makes you feel comfortable and not nervous like some people get at a doctor's appt. He used to be a Pulmonary/Allergist but is now just an Allergist. Luckily, I have not had any breathing problems in over 10 years, because I believe it is largely because I quit smoking! I did have to go to an Allergist and Dr. Christensen popped right into my head! I wasn't sure if he was still working in Las Vegas or even if he may have retired, but I found him! He took ALL the tests necessary and make copies of my whole medical history! I can take this to any of my other doctors if I choose and then they can read this over and know, in medical terms my medical problems! I so wish Dr. Christensen would choose to be a Primary Care doctor! He would be my only choice. I haven't found any doctor that is as thorough as Dr
Jim Christensen!

Dr Chistensen is no longer with this allergy group. All the old staff is also gone. To many changes with out letting the patients know.

The worst. I went to his Oak blvd office. After arriving to his office on the scheduled time, they let me know that their system is down and he can not see me. I took off from work for this appointment! Who is going to pay me for this!? Next they rescheduled my appointment twice saying he is out of office! Come on.. you are dealing with severe Asthma patients. Do you even understand how we feel??

I went to his office on Oakey Blvd. and they where AMAZING!! I have been battling with food allergies that came about all of the sudden over a year ago… they wanted to hear everything I had to say and gave me a skin test for certain pollen allergies, which my other allergist didn’t do. My other allergist had no answers and always sent me away to complete a food diary… one visit with Dr. Jim Christiensen and they knew what the issue was… thank you for being so amazingly helpful!!

Haven't seen Dr. Christensen for awhile but he was the only one who diagnosed and had knowledge of my very strange allergies (DPA). Almost everyone in my family suffers from it. There was not even a medicine for it at that time. Now they do. I am very thankful for Dr. Christensen.

Words couldn't describe how amazing Dr. Christensen is, but I'll do my best. He's a humble man, who hasn't let his world class status as a physician go to his head. He's so relatable, with a personality that is... the best around. Members of my family and I have seen him for over 30 years and I can't recommend his practice enough. God thank you for creating such a marvelous medicine man! I hope he lives to be 200+ years old, but even that wouldn't be long enough. I hope more physicians follow in his footsteps, in whatever specialty they prefer, but with the determination he has to solve problems.
