I recently had the pleasure of visiting Nevada Neurologic Care, and I must say, the office staff were absolutely amazing! They were friendly, efficient, and made me feel like I was part of the family. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Dr. Evangelista and the nurses were also fantastic, taking the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Highly recommend!

Dr Evangelista is one of the most caring and thorough providers still left in Las Vegas Nevada. He cares deeply for his patients. Dr Evangelista is a well rounded and well studied neurologist who always finds the proper plan of care.

I’m very disappointed with the way my sister was treated by Dr. Evangelista. From the moment she walked in, he was rude and impatient. Instead of offering compassion or support, he brushed her off and even chuckled in her face when she struggled to answer one of his questions. That moment was not only unprofessional—it was humiliating.

He repeatedly cut her off, spoke to her in a snippy tone, and showed no signs of empathy throughout the appointment. My sister left the visit feeling disrespected, dismissed, and worse than when she arrived. A doctor’s job is to listen and guide, not to belittle or mock. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend him to anyone seeking thoughtful, respectful care.

I have been seeing Dr. Evangelista for neuropathy in my feet. My first return visit was on April 15 (I had previously seen him for an initial diagnosis in 2022). When I arrived, unfortunately I was about 10 minutes later than I had been told, but still 5 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. The front desk immediately told me that I had to be able to fill out paperwork within that 5 minutes and that I should have been on time. (My appointment was in the middle of my work day and things happen).

After 5 minutes, the woman at the front desk came out to the lobby and inspected my progress, telling me to leave the rest of the incomplete forms and that the nurse would assist me. Once I got to the room, the nurse berated me for not having completed the paperwork. I told her was I was told and she snapped at me that I should not have been told that information and then went out to the front desk in the middle of my appointment to scold the staff!

I finally saw Dr. Evangelista, who was thorough but questioned my neuropathy diagnosis until I told him that he was the one who had originally diagnosed me. He worked up a plan for testing, asked if I had any questions and then just left the room, leaving me with the nurse and no clear information on next steps. She had to explain things. I made 3 different appointments with the office and scheduled an MRI.

I went back today for my first testing appointment. At 9:42, I received a call from the front desk asking me if I was planning to attend my 9:45 appointment. I explained that construction and traffic had delayed me and that I would be there as soon as I could. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a highlighted appointment policy document, indicating that patients were expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment.

The care shown by the medical staff is equally dismissive. The technician, who was quite personable, just watched me struggle to get onto the exam table and provided no assistance. The testing required multiple electrode contacts to be stuck to my skin, along with gel. After Dr. Evangelista came in to complete the testing, he told me to get dressed and follow up with the front desk for any further instructions, wished me good day and left. Didn't help me down, didn't offer anything to clean up with and left a contact pad stuck to my foot.

I called and canceled my remaining appointments mid-testing. I'll find care elsewhere and have my records transferred. I have never done that before and have never taken the time to write reviews. However, the militant time-keeping, slightly veiled threatening policies posted all over the walls, dysfunction of staff and clear lack of interest in patient well-being is evident in all parts of this practice. Stay away!

The medical care is fine it's the front office that is horrible. They are so bad that I am now wrongfully banded from the practice. I had to rebook a few appointments because the only day off I have is Sunday. That did not allow me to have the imaging and labs the Nurse Practitioner ordered. So I rebooked. The last time time I asked for an appointment after 3 PM. You would have thought I was asking for a kidney instead of a late appointment.
She kept repeating 2:45 and I kept repeating I'd still be at work at 2:45. Turns out the practice does have late appointments but the girl I was talking couldn't grasp that's what I was asking for.
So today I get a letter from them filled with lies that I am rude and disruptive to the front office staff which is an absolute lie. I called the office to clear up this misunderstanding and I get a call from the practice manager. This person wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise and basically spoke to me as if I am human garbage. They threatened calling the police on me because I told them their letter was untrue.
It's a shame to deprive yourself of a good doctor but I'd avoid this practice like the plague because the front office staff is inept and and lie about anyone who calls them out on it .
I am now filing a complaint with NV Board Of Medical Examiners because the high and mighty practice manager refused to discuss the problem like civilized people and come to a civilized solution.

This was the worst experience we have ever had with a supposed “medical professional.” My wife was referred to Dr. Evangelista due to her trigeminal neuralgia. For anyone who is not familiar with this diagnosis, it is commonly referred to as the “suicide disease” because the pain is so excruciating that individuals want to take their own life. The doctor briefly saw her and then prescribed her medications. After seven days of calling the office each day to tell them that the pharmacy did not receive the prescription, they finally responded, and the prescription was filled. The next time we attended an appointment the staff were extremely rude. Again, there was another delay in my wife getting the treatment she needed. Then… we call to make her next appointment only to be told that an appointment could not be made, and we needed to speak with the Practice Manager. We called the Practice Manager several times to find out what was going on. We never received a return call. A few days later, we receive a letter in the mail stating that my wife was being discharged from the doctor’s care. The letter stated that she was verbally abusive to the staff and was a no show for her last appointment. All of which was a lie. My wife is a nurse and is very familiar with medical practices. She was never rude, nor did she miss an appointment. The fact that Dr. Evangelista, Practice Manager and staff treated her in such an unprofessional way reflects poorly upon his practice as well as those in the medical community who are trying help individuals deal with terrible diseases such as trigeminal neuralgia.

My mother was a patient at this location. The Dr (Edgar Evangelista) never really spoke to her directly and was not pleasant. Office staff was worse. Could not accommodate an appointment and was very rude. DO NOT go here!
