Used Dr. Lysgaard as my dentist for many years. Had to stop, as he always wanted cash payment, and would never accept insurance. ALWAYS INSISTED ON CASH AT TIME OF SERVICE. Always insisted on using Cubic Zyrconia crowns, when caps were needed, which were always union scale at $1500.00 to $2,000.00 each, depending on the day of the week. Have since had problems with many of the crowns which he said I needed. POORLY SIZED, POORLY FITTED, AND POORLY SPACED. LEAVING GAPS BETWEEN TEETH, THAT ARE CREATING MORE PROBLEMS. These crowns were always the most expensive used by any Dentist, I have been told by several other dentists, and are not preferred by most, just the most expensive that can be used. I trusted him as my dentist for many years, but it appears I did not receive the care I should have received. Will not be returning to Dr Lysgaard anytime soon. It appears money was his motivator, not what was best for his patient. Also, while we are on the subject of tooth care. Dr Lysgaard always sent me to the same endodontist when a root canal was necessary. This endodontist's care turned out to be just as bad for me. All 3 teeth that he had done root canals for me, have since had to be redone also. He is another, who wants only cash at time of service, no insurance I was told would be accepted. In the long run, I am finding this was a terrible team that I got involved with for tooth care. Over time, I have lost in excess of $10,000 in fee's for service between the two of them. There are many good Dentists in town, we as patients just have to be careful with who we use for service. It took me a long period of time to pay these services off by credit card the first time around, and here it is happening all over again.

Dr. Lysgaard has been my dentist for over 30 years. He has fixed every dental problem I have had and I've had some big ones. I have never had any complications. Everything was always fixed correctly the first time. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

My 93 year old mom, who suffers from dementia, is a patient of Dr. Lysgaard'. She is treated with great patience and kindness by the good doctor and his staff. She still has all her own teeth and they are adamant that she keeps them. I highly recommend Dr. lysgaard

I was referred to Dr. Lysgaard by a good friend when I lost a temporary tooth while visiting Las Vegas. Not only did Dr. Lysgaard create a new temporary for me, but he came in on a holiday weekend to get it done, and he spent extra time to make sure I would not lose the new one. He is a consummate professional, still caring and considerate of a total stranger with a dental emergency. THANK YOU, Dr. Lysgaard!
