I sought care with this surgeon for a knee injury and found the physician to be knowledgeable and technically skilled. However, for me, the overall experience did not feel like the best fit.

While the surgeon is well-regarded, my experience with communication and follow-up through the office did not meet the level of support I needed while dealing with increasing pain and functional decline. I ultimately chose to transfer care to a different provider whose office communication better aligned with what I was looking for in a surgical process.

I also noted an inaccuracy in my medication list (tramadol was listed instead of trazodone). I requested that this be corrected, but it remained inaccurate, which reinforced my decision to seek care in a setting where documentation review and communication felt more aligned with my expectations.

It was the lack of availability to speak directly with Dr. Koe or another healthcare professional to communicate the change in my condition, and I truly believed he thought I was drug seeking.

After seeing another provider, it was confirmed that I indeed had a change in functionality that needed to be addressed.

Right when you step i their doors, you are immediately greeted by Brooke at the front desk, Very professional, honest and compassionate to patient's needs!

Wendy ist the awesome scheduler and she also deals witht the attorney issues.......super friendly as well!

Cassandra is Dr Koe's assistant and not only is she completely thorough but VERY understanding to any patient concerns and helps advocate for her patients!

Stephanie is the official surgery scheduler, which in spite of being super stressful, Stephanie manages everything with grace!

PA - Allison, I've only heard good things about her but I have never actually quite met her in person.

And as far as Dr Ronald Cove the actual orthopedic surgeon that completed my surgery on my shoulder, From the moment I walked into his office till the last time I met with him I felt completely confident I was in very good hands And I had made the right decision coming to his practice!

On June 6, 2025, I underwent a complex shoulder surgery. Even Dr. Koe remarked that the internal damage was more severe than initially expected. Fast forward to January 2026, and I am happy to say I have made a full recovery—thanks to the outstanding care and expertise of Dr. Koe and his entire team.

I completed five months of physical therapy, three times per week, and have been back in the gym full-time since October 2025. My recovery exceeded expectations, and I’m extremely grateful for the results.

As I write this review, I am returning to Dr. Koe for a knee evaluation after taking a hard fall while skiing over the weekend. Since he reconstructed my shoulder I have full faith he will be able to help with me knee injury as well.

Not only did I have bicep tendon surgery with Dr Koe (03/28/25) but recently learned it was Dr Koe who had done my boyfriend's knee replacement surgery a couple years back!! We are 2 happy patients!
Our separate experiences here were nothing but the best! It started with the staff and still continues with post op appointments. Front desk is polite and courteous! I am a person who will ask questions and yeah I will call if I am concerned. They have gotten back to me in a more than a timely manner with answers that put me at ease. My overall surgery was amazingly perfect if any surgery can be. Minimal bruising which shocked me ! At first I was a bit concerned if my scar would look funky, and I voiced my concern and got a full on explanation as to why my sutures were sutured the way they were. Answer-Dr. Koe has a low infection rate (hence the funky stitching)!!! As promised, when my stitches came out Dr Koe did NOT disappoint! I've added photos for proof!! It's only been 19 days but my future scar is healing prettier than expected! I'm looking forward to recovery and feel that I've been in the best care possibly given! If the insurance approves, my boyfriend plans on having his other knee surgery here!!

I normally don’t take time for reviews. I am taking this time because of the exceptional treatment I received with Dr Koe!! I was referred by a friend. Other Orthopedic doctors had told me my shoulder pain was just part of aging. Dr Koe found the problem immediately and performed surgery with awesome results….no more pain. Went to Dr. Koe for right shoulder pain which turned out to be a severe tear in my rotator cuff (some bone spurs as well). After a careful examination and a further MRI, he professionally diagnosed and discussed the problem with me, laid out the options and ultimately performed surgery a week ago. I've had 2 full knee replacements and other Orthopedic procedures with other surgeons, but this procedure with Dr. Koe has to be the smoothest and least traumatic of the bunch. Minimal pain and surgically clean. I've been extremely impressed so far in the recovery stage as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Koe and his staff.

Because of my history in sports I have had numerous issues with my joints. Dr. Koe has replaced one of my knees helped my with the other knee and kept me out of the operating room. Wonderful doctor and surgeon. Three years ago Dr. Koe did my rotator cuff surgery. I was nervous due to it being my first surgery and anxious about the MRI. Dr. Koe has his own MRI in his office, an open MRI. So easy to have done and I didn’t have to wait a month or two going to another facility. Everything was smooth and streamlined. This past December I needed my rotator cuff done on my other shoulder. Once again, an excellent experience with my surgery from Dr. Koe. He is so kind and caring, such a great surgeon. He is very nice. Had a very bad surgery experience, and office staff was the worst I have ever seen. One girl was amazing and another one that was excellent left. I'm so sad because he seemed to be ok, but the leader/Dr in the office should have his staff under control and, at the very least, polite. His daughter was a mean girl as well. Can not tell you how bad this experience was for me, and my knee will never be corrected. No one there cared, they got the money and ran post surgery.
Update! Dr Koe was wonderful, he was kind, attentive and a decent surgeon. I know he was going thru some personal and health problems at the time however, it was very traumatic to me that even so many years later, I-s felt I needed to post something. In a review, you write your opinion of what you experienced. I at no time slandered Dr Koe. Whoever wrote this response (mind you 1 year after I wrote the review) needs to check the dictionary for the meaning of slander before accusing me of doing so. Not all reviews will be good unfortunately. However, you can not accuse the reviewer of "slander" when you don't like one. Dr. Koe and his staff have been amazing! He recently surgically fixed my knee and I feel better that ever. I had been in pain since my previous surgery 4 years ago by another surgeon and I felt defeated and was accepting my fate of lifetime knee pain. Dr. Koe came to the rescue and fixed me up!

Doctor Koe Is a good Doctor. And His office is very nice everything in there MRI machine x-ray machine.. But I left his practice some years a go and took everybody with me Because that billing Lady was A terrible horrible person.The doctors daughter was sitting there when she completely flew off the handle at me as if she was my supervisor Or in withdrawal.. I never seen nothing like it... I thought for sure the daughter Would have told her dad.. I think her name was Janet she was a big heavy lady never wore shoes and her feet Stunk terrible.

Now we all go to Doctor Yee.. This guy's busy, certainly is not as friendly as Doctor Koe but as good But the staff is not verbally abusive either...and Koe didn't correct his staff. And they were holding my critical information I don't have to freeze all my credit and worry that's some crazy lady is going to retaliate against me...

I would like to say we met Dr. Koe and can give a 5 start review. We never got a chance. His office staff is unreasonable, rude, and do not listen. Jill, was so rude. She would not listen and could not understand that we have 3 insurances that cover all aspects of a visit. A basic insurance which pays for Doctor's visit at $0 charge and 2 independent insurances that pay for everything else including X-rays, surgery, etc. Jill made the decision that we should not come to their office because they could not ensure payment. Dr. Koe is the best ortho in Vegas, by far.

After seeing multiple orthos for a shattered patella, and receiving horrible care, I went here as recommended by my PCP. I saw Dr. Koe for about a year and a half. His bedside manner is stellar. He never makes you feel rushed or that your pain is routine or expected. He is solely interested in getting you back to the life you as an individual want to have.

He is down to do experimental treatments and explore all options before surgery. This is something I didn't find with the other orthos. They wanted to do surgery and nothing else. He's also concerned with your longevity and won't recommend things that counter this.

The front desk staff here is lovely as well. They've always worked with me through my insurance, they remember me, and they couldn't be sweeter.

This Doctor ruined my left shoulder, i can no longer work out or do any physical activities. When he did my surgery he forgot to tighten the anchor to my labrum so therefore i had a plastic anchor piece inside my shoulder that would hurt tremendously. DR koe Completely messed up my labrum repair i was without work for a whole year because i could hardly move my shoulder. Dr koe i hope your reading this because your clinic needs to be shut down, and you need to FIND ANOTHER LINE OF WORK! Please if you are considering getting surgery with him DO NOT do it he is incompetent, and if you ask any reputable surgeon around town about DR Koe they will all tell you That he makes a lot of stupid mistakes when doing other peoples surgery.

I have a rather severe knee injury and made an appointment to see Dr. Koe. When I showed up I filled out the paperwork and was told I had to have a "state-issued picture id." I did not have one but did have an id with my picture and name on it. I was told I could not see Dr. Koe. It would have been easy to check this id and I could have even come back with the required id, but these people don't care about patients. If I was injured on the street and Koe walked by he would check first to see if I had the proper id and if I didn't he would walk away. What the hell kind of a doctor is that? Don't go to this guy. He does not care about people, only money.

Dr. Koe seems to be pleasant. HOWEVER, his staff is dismissive and borderline racist. The scheduler decided she wouldn't be clear in her directives or provide any additional information.
Trying to talk to the condescending office coordinator Kelsey is even more frustrating. Trying to remain respectful of lowly educated, overly self-assured office admin that talk to you as if they are the doctors is a challenge.

I was misled about my healthcare (intentionally) and refused explanation by the staff on numerous occasions. When caught in here action to delay my surgery, Kelsey became remarkably defensive. When it got close to my surgery date, and I realized additional request for BILLING might slow things down, I wasn't talked to like an educated veteran just trying to stay abreast of the situation. I was dismissed and spoken to as if they were doing me a favor.

When I decided to get to the bottom of the paperwork fiasco by going home and making some calls to my primary care....... I received a call from Henderson Police alledging I made a threat.............and just like that, I'm trespassed from the property and denied service..........SICKENING THAT UNEDUCATED BIGOTRY IS ALLOWED TO TAKE OVER A PRACTICE?! THESE ARE OFFICE ADMIN.......DOING WHAT THEY WANT.......A false POLICE REPORT!?

The doctor himself is excellent. However, is staff is horrible and have lousy customer service. The lady that schedules appointments never returns phone calls and is always off. No one else can schedule appointments in the office or they are to inept to do it by themselves. It seems the doctor is not in touch with his staff.
